WESTDALE PARK: A PERFECT LOCATION. I moved to West Dale Park on Greystone Drive in January 2020. I was very surprised! The management staff is both friendly and helpful. The maintenance crew is exemplary. They respond quickly to residents needs. The grounds are open with pools, tennis courts and beautiful old oak trees. The surrounding neighborhoods are what makes Westdale Park unique. Its located in central Austin, close to everything you need. I would recommend it to family and friends.

Lived here for about 3 or so years and had very few issues the entire time. Office and maintenance staff are all very friendly, and have prompt responses to any issues you may have. The only complaints i had the entire time living there was that my unit tended to flood during really bad storms; it flooded twice in those 3 years and nothing was done to prevent the flooding, all they did was clean up the water once the storms were over. The hardwood was damaged the first time, and that was never repaired. That, and in the loft units the AC doesnt cool the upstairs as well as the downstairs. Also had some frequent issues of water from the garbage disposal backing up into the dishwasher. Despite those issues, this is, again, a lovely complex with lovely staff.

Older apartment complex that has a lot to offer. This complex is from the late 70s and is in a really great location. Downtown is 15 minutes away, 10 minutes away from The Domain, awesome local eats are within walking distance and within walking distance to public transit. Appliances are from the 90s but work great. Best dishwasher Ive ever used. Bathroom sink and tub are old and a bit rusty in many spots. No ceiling lights in my unit except in the kitchen and I have only one ceiling fan with a light in the dinning area. There are plenty of green spaces and big beautiful trees. This complex has two pools, super small fitness center, small dog park, a tennis court, sand volleyball court, and laundry rooms. Laundry rooms are maintained by a third party and machines are often limited and broken. Both pools are not always operational due to maintenance or other issues and last year the pools did not open well into the scorching summer season. I am hoping to use the pools in April because its hot already. This complex has frequent water shut offs each month on a Tuesday or Wednesday due to water maintenance which, can be difficult when you work from home. I moved in a little over a year ago and my unit was dirty and had warped and moldy window sills. My bedroom window had a bad leak when it rained. I had to use good old elbow grease to clean the fridge, stove, and tub multiple times when I moved in. I had expected to move into a clean apartment. Friendly staff and maintenance personnel did a good job at helping resolve all the issues. Maintenance usually responds within one and three days. Be advised, that the third party lawn service will blow grass and debris straight into your first floor patio with reckless abandon. Overall, I am happy living here.

Been a great place to live; I appreciate the longer-than-twelve-month lease options.Water shutoffs are pretty frequent and sometimes irritating, but never last too long and are a sign of ongoing improvements being made around the property.Parking lots were just restriped, the paint is nice and bright. Few potholes could do with filling in but theyre not in the main driving paths.Would love to see an expansion in the equipment available in the fitness center, and cant wait for pool weather to start again.

Apartment has an older feel, and is not luxury. It is generally quiet and peaceful. Every unit has a porch or balcony. No microwaves. Ive enjoyed the trees and squirrels. Location is very convenient. My service requests (broken heater, blinds) have been taken care of within 1 day. I havent seen roaches or ants. Many washers/dryers in the laundry rooms have been broken the whole time Ive been here, but Ive always been able to find an available working machine somewhere in the complex. Overall Ive been happy here.

Maintenance and leasing office are really prompt at addressing needs and are always very kind. I love where I live, there is so much greenery and the deep pool is fantastic.But there are constantly floods and out of service machines in the laundry room.The 3rd party company that maintenance issues are reported to are slow at repairs and machines often have issues. This leaves a limited number of machines available to use at most times.

Well located condo, with many public transportation stops around. Large with two swimming pools, although they are not always both working. The gym needs remodeling. And the laundry rooms should be cleaner. The houses are old but well maintained. Maintenance of the urbanization is adequate and fast.

I have been living in this complex for 3 years, it is a wonderful neighborhood, quiet and quiet 24 hours a day; 2 blocks away I have an Austin Regional Clinic, supermarket, banks, pharmacy, gas station, post office, library, cafeteria, schools, and several restaurants and quick access to Mopac. What I like most is seeing some deer walking around in the mornings.

This is a nice and vast apartment complex. It is well maintained with the exception of the parking lot but I am sure they will be attending to it in the future. It has some serious water run off chanelling so flooding will be very minor if at all. Most neighbors are friendly and considerate. Dogs and cats are welcome and picked up after by their owners. Westdale Parke really cares about recycling by providing huge recycling bins. I am very glad to call Westdale Parke my new home.

All in all, it’s not a bad place to live. I would have given 5 stars but the people in this community are incapable of picking up after their dogs, and there aren’t any pet waste bag stations around or near the apartment buildings. It’s deplorable and I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve stepped in or nearly stepped in feces. The maintenance requests are answered about 60%of the time and management tends to live and let live when it comes to how much they bother you. I will say that the unit I was shown and the unit that I live in are VERY different-my walls are the color of the DMV, and my appliances are probably from the early 90’s, but they’re still trucking…. So far.

Living here for almost a year, and for the most part it has been good. Only one flaw is that my apartment does not have any ceiling lights or ceiling fans in the bedrooms. But, easy fix just got some lamps and fans. The maintance department are very efficient and respond very quickly.

I moved to Westdale Parke apartments from Florida in December with my family and so far our experience is great. Briana Ramos from the leasing office is an awesome lady and helped my move to Texas smoothly. She did her job also well with her patience to answer my questions and helpful suggestions. Apartments are little old, but for my needs and the location it is a good deal. We faced few maintenance issues from time to time but in general both the maintenance as well as the leasing office personnel are quick to resolve these issues. The thing I liked most is that when we go out for walk around the neighborhood we feel safe to do so. HEB, restaurants and elementary school are nearby. Bus stops located in the walking distance for UT as well as downtown. I will reconsider my review after few more months with another update based on my experience here. I hope everything stays as good as it is right now.

Working with Jasmine was awesome. Although she was very busy she always kept in contact. emails were always exchanged and returned. It was nice doing everything online instead of having to go in and out and back and forth. I have had no issues with management or neighbors. I like the community its quiet besides the normal hustle and bustle of apartment living. my apartment style is a little older but they do a good job of updating things. Nothing is broken everything works. I like it I think the rental price for my apartment is amazing giving the location. No problems!

I loved my apartment at Westdale Parke, plus the property is located in one of my favorite neighborhoods in all of Austin--such a pretty place to bike around, and everyone goes all-out with decorations when it rolls around to holiday time. :-) My floorplan was adorable and Austin-funky and my neighbors were friendly. My rent was super-affordable, which basically made my apartment worth its weight in gold, especially these days in Austin. I loved my stay at Westdale Parke.

The female office people are really nice and know when to be assertive. This place is beautiful and the placement is really convenient. I have been here for two years and no problems with anyone.

I have had nothing but a great experience living at Westdale Parke. Here are the highlights:- There was literally no where else in Austin that I could find a LARGE one bedroom, in a safe neighborhood, for the price. Every other one bedroom I found was super small, and the fact that I only pay $850 for a 725 sq. ft. one bedroom is amazing.- Great location and safe neighborhood. Its right off Mopac, but far enough back so that you dont hear highway noise. Theres a great shopping area literally right down the street, with the nicest HEB in Austin.- My unit had a cute little outdoor porch area - personal outdoor space is important to me.- 2 pools, which is great, because they never get crowded. They are nice and relaxing. And the have beach volleyball court and dog park!- I have no complaints about my actual unit. I lived here for 2 years and never once had a maintenance issue.Bottom line - you wont find larger units for the price, which also happen to be in a great area of town, anywhere else in Austin. I definitely recommend this place if youre looking for a mid-level, one bedroom apartment unit, on the West Side of town.

I have lived here going on a year, and my only complaints are that when you call the office you never really get a live person - I have always had to leave a message. However, they have always gotten back to me within the same day sometimes. Your electric bill will also sky rocket in the summer due to the place being a little older (ranging in $200 for 1 person who works 8 hrs a day), but it balances out when it plummets in the winter ($88 dollars). I never really used the gym and the few times I tried it was being re-painted, but I love swimming in their deep pool during the summer. I enjoy inviting people over because the rentals are nice for what they are, and my neighbors vary between polite college kids or older adults, the lady below me has a small pottery garden which is fun to watch grow. I have yet to have a noise complaint, and I have not had any maintenance issues other than my dishwasher leaked when I very first moved in and they fixed that. Everyone walks to the HEB down the road, and there are several bus stops in the area, and the fact that its located close to several convenient roads is a plus for me. If you go back roads, you get to go to capital of tx, if you go out the front you get 1 or 183, and a short drive lands you on I-35 beyond most of the traffic jams.The only thing you really have to watch is the fact that here recently my rent rates jumped for one reason or another. I never expect rent to climb unless my contract changes, but it has for one reason or another.

I have lived here for approaching a year now and I have had such a great experience.For example: I voiced concerns about the recycling program soon after I moved here which, were met with receptivity and quick action! I have had a great many requests, of varying degrees of inconvenience to this complex and each request has been graciously accepted and handled. Aside from maintenance (Scott is excellent about tending to issues quickly and following up sufficiently), the office staff (most especially Bethany!) is amiable and a real joy to work with. My lease isnt up for some months yet and I look forward to each of them, and perhaps beyond.

Scott, Head of Maintenance is responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. John in maintenance has been helpful and checks in to make sure everything is all right.

Did not stay here, but Juliet, who had just started working in office there around the beginning of June 2017, was really helpful. Even followed up with me and offered contacts to help look elsewhere since my soon to be roommate couldnt qualify to move in. Juliet was sincere in her apology and commitment to help me and my roommate out even if it was not at the place she worked. The apartments look ok, but the staff (Juliet) was above and beyond my expectations.

5 stars for the maintenance crew alone! My A/C unit went out yesterday (in the middle of July) so I put in a maintenance request when I got home from work. I get home today and the maintenance crew has left a note that they fixed my unit and sure enough my A/C is working like new. Great job WP.
