We have had the pleasure of working with Krystal Ramsey, assistant manager of First Service Residential Office for The Lakes of Bella Terra. She sets the tone for the office, is generally the first person the public encounters and greets you with a smile and asks, How can I help you today?We showed up in her office, and explained that we were confused and frustrated, because we were not familiar with sending information to the ARC Committee. She gave us her full attention and told us that she would be happy to help. We left her office feeling relieved that she understood our problem, was able to be of assistance and our forms were sent.She is very aware of quality customer service, and she represents First Service Residential in a very professional, positive manner.Frank Burton

    I am a recently retired real estate agent, and I’m very familiar with First Service Residential. The subdivision in which I live, Fairfield, has enjoyed a good relationship with FRS. As a matter of fact, I am on the HOA board. I am very pleased with the NEW Director, MS.Jennifer, Sailor, who I think will do a very good job.

    Writing this a fence contractor but Jennifer R is and has been great to work with. We have done work for Heritage grand in katy which first service manages the community and they’ve always paid and easily able to communicate with. I hope more communities hire them !

    After the severe storms in mid-May that knocked out power to most of Houston, including Spring Brook Village, our property manager, Donna, went the extra mile to be present in the neighborhood, survey public areas in the neighborhood for damage, advise residents of said damage, and keep the residents updated on resources that were available (cooling centers, ice, water). Knowing that she was keeping an eye on things in the community and sending out regular updates put my mind at ease.

    Quick response time and received great customer service today. I sent in a request for a roof repair and sent the home improvement request in. I received the approval back same day and able to get my roof repaired on time due to the quick response by Belinda Miller. I was told by many people that I would have a long wait, but this wasnt the case. The customer service and response time was amazing. I honestly was surprised. And she provided me with all the information I needed on the process of improvements. I am very happy and thankful for your customer Service Belinda. Thank you for your assistance, it is greatly appreciated.     Just updating this review and First Service and our community manager are continuing to meet our expectations and needs. Our HOA Board has limited time and their service steps up daily satisfying our community business.If you are a community and looking for a full service management company then FSR is a great bet. We are a small community in the shadow of downtown and our current manager is Alexis Whitaker. Not only has Alexis always been available and responsive when we need her, but she takes the initiative of bringing her experience and professionalism to our community when she sees ways to improve our quality of life.

    We wanted to let everyone out there know about the experience we had with Belinda Miller, the Architectural Review Coordinator at First Service Residential.As much as we realize that there are many more people living in our subdivision other than us, Belinda never made us feel as if we were in the back of the line, per say, whenever we had an application for her to review. On the contrary, she always made us feel as if we were the ONLY ones that needed her attention.     Our property manager Alexis Whitaker does an excellent job for our community. She is self-motivated to provide good service in her role. In addition, she is well prepared for the monthly board meetings. As a result, the meetings typically finish on time or even early with a feeling of accomplishment. Hats off to you!

    FirstService Residential Houston I want to be fair, for the last 3 to 4years, your service was poor and required immediate improvement to maintain the relationship. Our new Community Manager Beth Liles so far shows immediate best interest for our POA of Willowsprings Community. It has only been a few months. Lets hope she improves the service for the final star to be scored.

    We moved into Solstice - Harmony a little more than a year ago. As always, the challenges of a new setup and the bucket list of stuff that needs to get done with HOA tends to be a bother. That’s where Kristen Pond came along to help, guide and advise right from day one. Always with a smile on her face, she accomplished stuff for us in all of the nitty gritty with true efficiency and no fuss. Kudos Kristen, watching you promoted to GM speaks volumes on your ability to expedite stuff,truly you’re the best !

    This comment is specifically about our HOA manager Donna McDonald in Houston. She is really great at getting back to me about issues and observations, is so easy to work with, encourages and helps bring new ideas to life that improve community life, answers every question and concern, and very accommodating when it comes to special circumstances with HOA rules. My HOA experience has improved a thousand times over once she came onsite. The HOA isnt perfect and can be challenging to deal with, but Donna makes it all so much easier. I super appreciate her and hope shell stay with our property for a very long time.

    I have had the pleasure of working with Sylvia R. Wilson who diligently worked on my HOA accounting problem. She communicated with me in this long on-going process that involved lots of research on her part and it was solved. It is a rare experience to work with someone who cared enough to put in the time and effort this required. The cherry on top is that Sylvia is a very sweet lady with a great sense of humor.

    Elizabeth Mitchell & Grady Wallace have always been on top of everything when helping me with the HOA and understanding the pros and cons of the neighborhood.     I am very pleased with First Service Residential and the care theyve given to our ARC requests for our HOA. We are in the process of getting a pool built, and the process of submitting the application for approval was quick, seamless and professional. The communication is terrific whether you go into the office in person or via email. Everyone always complains about HOAs, but our experience has been great.Thank you so much to everyone at First Service Residential for doing a great job!

    My Husband And I was having so many problems with our HOA yearly payment. We sent our money in before the deadline and we still got other letters saying we were pass due for our payment and now they were attaching late fees and getting an Attorney at our expense . So we went to the main office to see what was going on, to find out that you had to have an appointment… The receptionist call the office upstairs and asked if someone could come down to talk with us. Cindy Blanco came to talk with us. Her customer service was impeccable and rapid. She listen effectively as we spoke and gathered all the information she needed to rectify the situation at hand. She apologized for the situation, and said she had to look over everything. She took our phone # and said she would get back to us in 2 to 3 days. On the 3 day she contacted us with wonderful information. She reached the right people and straighten out the whole situation ….In all the years of our business transactions we’ve never had anyone so concerned as Cindy Blanco was. If I was in business, she would be at in the front Office. We are diffidently satisfied with your excellent service. Cindy is a great asset to FirstService Residential.

    From the day that I moved in and for the last three years Tammy has done an exceptional job at making Bayou lofts home. Not only does Tammy do a great job in making sure that concerns are addressed quickly and appropriately, She also makes sure that she creates a community at the Bayou lofts! Residents are made aware of updates, weather emergencies and social events around the area alike. I appreciate having a property manager who takes a true interest in creating a great space for their residents. There have been so many improvement projects and I can’t say enough about how great Tammy and the team at Bayou lofts are. It will always be home to me!

    I recently submitted an application to the ARC. I know they have 30 days to respond, and also know that if they dont respond in 30 days, that doesnt mean its been approved. I received an email from Belinda Miller (Architectural Review Coordinator) stating I needed additional information and I had seven days to get it to them or my 30 days would be up and my request would be denied. I was a bit frustrated at first, but in conversing with Belinda, she was very professional and willing to assist me however she could. She clarified some questions I had, which helped to resolve the issue timely. She even called the utility provider (as they requested to speak directly to the ARC). I believe Belinda could sense my frustration and she reached out to me to let me know she was truly not trying to give me a hard time, but wanted to be sure she was very careful when making decisions on applications. I appreciated not only her gesture, but also her thoroughness and dedication to her job. As stated above, she was very professional at all times and knowing that she took her job this seriously gave me a new perspective on my HOAs ARC. I know I wont always see eye-to-eye with the ARC, but am confident that working together, and each side remaining cool, calm, and collected, we can work through pretty much any issue we encounter. In the end, my application was approved and Belinda was very excited to get to share the great news. I realize the HOA doesnt always have the easiest job, and likewise, we, as homeowners, want what we want, but I do appreciate Belinda and hope Im able to work with her again on future applications.

    Tammy does the best job as a property manager at Bayou Lofts. We are the only historic-loft downtown loft building that has addressed all deferred maintenance. Nothing major will have to be replaced for decades.She keeps our costs down to the benefit of the homeowners.Very responsive to any issues or problems in the building. Also proactive so that little items dont turn into big things.

    Michelle at First Services is a pleasure to work with. We are new to the neighborhood and she has been VERY helpful with our transition. She has helped us get acquainted with gate operations, access to neighborhood amenities, and irrigation. Most importantly Michelle has assisted with removal of plant material that died in the Great Freeze of 2021. We can NOT say enough positive things about Michelle.

They do a great job with planning monthly/holiday events for us residents here to meet.     I want to recognize Ashley Wallace of FSR, she has been our community manager for the past year. She has gone out of her way to to change the attitude between the board and community and there relationship with FSR. We hav3 had several projects this year that Ashley has gone out of her way to stay on top of and respond to. She keeps the board up to date on issues and responds to issues as best as she can. Many times if it’s out of her control she keeps the board informed. I appreciate all she has done to resolve many of the issues between the home owners and FSR.     A huge thank you to Belinda Miller at FS Residential for assisting us with our recent request for a home improvement project. Belinda was professional throughout the process and always responded quickly to any emails. She even took the time to come down and meet me when I dropped off the deposit check for the improvement project when the person at the front desk was receipting the funds. True sign of customer service. Permitting through the city was exhausting, but as soon as we had our building permit she did a great job on following up to get our HOA approval. We did encounter some challenges with the HOA approval, but she offered solutions and options as I was about to give up. The race is on to get our project complete. Thank you for all your help!

    I modified my review because after 2 visits in person to the office, they finally made my pool car work. They also responded to my playground mulch inquiry. When you can get hold of them they are super nice and helpful. But they should be staffed up to meet the need for service.---------------------Ordered a pool card that never worked. Called many times. Always redirected to national center. No local personnel to help. Had to go to their office twice to get pool card. Horrible service. Hope we can have another management company.

I contacted FirstService on Sunday night, got a response with the application on Monday morning, emailed Belinda Miller with my questions and got answers within hours. Following Sunday sent my application with all the required documentation via email. Got architectural approval on Wednesday- yes 3 days later.     Nothing but headaches with this company until I got with Belinda Miller. I called and left several message to a Tiffany García without any response. I called one last time before I drove up there in person and cussed someone out. Fortunately Belinda answered and I told her my situation. She said she would take care of it immediately. She called back within 10 minutes with confirmation plus email. She’s the only one I’ll deal with.

    Typically trying to resolve an issue is an headache...with any company. You pray that you talk to someone that is knowledgeable and helpful! Well...Goldie Hassan is that person we hope for! She was so informative, polite & efficient! She cleared up my issues in the matter of minutes and I could see her smile through the phone, such a blessing! A1 costumer service! When I first called FSR I spoke to a man named George and he was super helpful and understanding, never felt rushed to get off the phone or have an attitude with me even thought I was upset.     We needed HOA Architectural Review Committee approval to paint the exterior of our home. The HOA ARC rules say that the committee has 45 days to approve the request. However, I was very pleased that Belinda Miller with First Residential was able to ensure we had our approval very quickly and in time for our contractor to take advantage of some good weather. We were extremely pleased with the hassle-free process and grateful for Belindas assistance.

    My family and I have been residents in Harmony since 2017, moving from DFW. We love this area because we are within minutes from Houston in one direction and The Woodlands in the other. The staff (Courtney & Vanessa) at First Service Residential/Harmony HOA are kind and creative, responsive and professional. They are always looking for ways to improve our living conditions like increasing our internet speed, resurfacing our community pool/splashpad and hosting different events to meet our neighbors. Any time that I have had a question or concern, they have been attentive and prompt to address/respond and I appreciate that.

    I purchased a DR Horton home in Summer Lakes subdivision February 2020. I moved here from Tyler, TX with multiple medical issues and had so many unanswered questions about the area.However, Elizabeth Mitchell through the FirstService Residential - Houston HOA provided me maps and information related to the subdivision. Grady assisted with instructions related to the HOA articles and welcoming personalities.I frequently, called the HOA office about local services in the area and activities involving the HOA. THEY ALWAYS RESPOND PROMPTLY AND COUTEROUSLY. I know they have great plans for 2021. The HOA was not afforded the opportunity to follow through with so many plans last year due to COVID-19 restrictions.
