We love Westdale Creek. We are kinda new to the US, we arrived less than a year ago from Colombia and we have found a very kind community not only in the neighbors but in the admin. We hope to be able to renew our contract in a bigger unit in coming months because we need more space but we don’t want to leave the complex. Our dog loves it too, he’s super spoiled by everyone around :)

Im happy with it currently!The maintenance team has been treating us well.The building itself has a lot of little issues that dont matter that much really.The surroundings are really unique. The parking lots have topography! Hills! There are trees and rocks!If things were different, then theyd be different.

I moved to Austin for work a couple of years ago from out of state and was in a crunch to find a place before I started my new job and am so glad we were able to find this complex. I have lived here since then, and overall have had a good experience and very few/minor issues.The buildings are older but since I have been here, it does seem like property management is making an effort to maintain the parking lots, the exteriors, and the general landscaping. The pool area is very nice and quiet, the trees around the property are absolutely beautiful, the exterior of the buildings (stairwells/doors) are well lit at night, and the neighborhood/people in general are quite nice.Other reviews mentioned a problem with pests (roaches) and fleas and I will say that I’ve experienced some of these issues; however, when I’ve brought this to the attention of the management or office staff (whether via email/phone call/or work order) I’ve always gotten a fairly quick response and they have made efforts to address the issues quickly (and thankfully the steps they’ve taken have helped because I’m seeing improvements).On the topic of staff, I personally have found Juan, Rosemary, and the other girls in the office to be very friendly and attentive. I have not had an experience with them in these last two years that has made me feel unwelcome and they seem approachable, which is a plus.My unit does not have a washer/dryer hookup but the community laundry room does seem to be well maintained and clean and the app is super convenient. The only thing I will note about the laundry facilities is that while they are clean I do not think they are necessarily ADA friendly. It’s probably not a problem for most people but there is not a ramp to access it (only stairs) and the footing/ground is quite uneven in places which can be a hazard and make it difficult for those who might have mobility issues to access it. Again, most people probably aren’t affected by this but if you are, it may be worth looking into a unit with a washer/dryer hookup so you don’t have to worry.All things considered though, my experience with these apartments has been a positive one so far, and I would recommend!

Many of us have lived here for years, 8 years myself. The pool, neighbors and large porches have been the best part. The rent is lower compared to the trendy areas. Quick maintenance staff. It’s an older building with typical apartment issues. Safe neighborhood. Pros: pool, quiet, lower rent, far west neighborhood. Cons: the pool bathroom has been closed for two plus years, poor building renovations resulted in trash I still see around the property today, and I wish I had more natural light. I could make several complaints but I love it here and two of my friends have also lived here as a result. What complex doesn’t have complaints.*only had a bug problem my first year. Most likely from nasty neighbors. Currents neighbors are great!

Maintenance is done quickly since I moved here, haven’t dealt with any roaches but I do take out my trash daily and don’t leave any dishes food out that could attract them. The office staff are friendly and helpful with trying to resolve an issue I have. The manager Rosemary really cares about the property and I like how they try to maintain it. Juan is very nice and helpful as well as Alexis. The only issue I have here is noise I hear coming up into my apartment that is loud enough that could be heard outside and several buildings away that keeps me up at night

I lived here for 2yrs. I never had any issues with maintenance or management.Rosemary and Juan are great. They work with you... people on here complain about not getting an email back; heck anytime I needed anything, I went into the office and had the issue taken care of promptly (communication face to face is still a thing).Great area to live and affordable.

Love my new Apartment. The property Manger Rosemary took care of my apartment so well. Tasha was very helpful as well she is very sweet and easy to work with. The team is great! Im so glad to call this place my home. Pool is well kept up. The office space is very neat. And I cant express how grateful I am with this place.

Westdale creek is a nice, quiet community. The apartments are outdated, but it truly seems like the maintenance + repair team has been really diligent in making sure apartments are clean and “renovated” for move in. Yes, there are some bugs. But I’ve never lived anywhere in Austin where there isn’t bugs—and the location is woodsy and secluded (that’s good!). Definitely outweighs the occasional bug. You simply cannot beat the price + location. Other reviewers have said the pool upkeep isn’t consistent, but that has not been my experience. The pool is really nice and BIG—it’s a great area. My neighbors are super friendly. Bottom line: I’m pleased with this apartment complex and the pros far outweigh the cons.

Anyone who reads must know, This is completely based on our (me and my husband’s) experience and the apartment we were in. We moved one year ago to USA and like anyone else we were looking for apartments based on google reviews and frankly it was next to impossible to find one! Being new to The US we initially finalized an apartment at Westdale park with help of some friends but the Leasing office staff wasn’t very helpful and that lease didn’t went through due to lack of initiative and information from their end.( I am glad it didn’t, I like this apartment better than what we were initially getting)Giving this background because we had already changed two Airbnb’s by then and we were in such a tough and awkward spot with no place to stay. Finally going to almost every apartment in Far west Blvd and having no immediate move in possibility or others being so expensive we came to Westdale creek and this helpful gentleman named Victor was very kind and at least felt sorry and apologized to us to what happened at Westdale park( which wasn’t needed but it was really kind on his part)By God‘s grace we were able to find a one Bedroom apartment in Unit 6.Yes, there is no doubt that the building is old and new modifications would only bring out the good in place. But I loved my apartment, it had everything I needed. We never had any major problem, no mold issues, no faul smell, bearable roaches problem ( which I guess is everywhere ) The maintenance here , especially the main person ( I am missing out his name but he lives in Unit 6 only) He is such a gentleman. Good with his work and so respectful. He always turned with his team on time whenever I needed help with any maintenance issue.The office was very prompt in conveying to the maintenance people the things which needed fixing!Another important positive was the Leasing Staff( Tiffany and James especially ) me and my husband have largely interacted with both of them. They have been so helpful, sharing information we needed and answering our questions to the best of their abilities.We strongly feel it is so important to have a good and supportive management. So never had any trouble there!One thing that I genuinely felt need to be considered is -1. water bill - Sadly in this complex the water bill is divided between the number of apartments in the each unit and not Person wise.Which I believe isn’t fair because my water usage is way less than people with family of 4 or 3. So my water bill was always high. I wish this could be changed in future.Overall I loved the people in this complex all those we met , had a wonderful 2019 summer at the pool each Saturday and Sunday!Would surely miss that !!

Love this property! Every time I walk into the office the front staff is so friendly and very attentive. And the maintance guys always do a good job in making sure the property is always looking clean and making sure all the things are working properly.

Great apartments to be in. Victor one of the managers is friendly and easy to work with. These are in a great location close to downtown and also close to the domain easy to get everywhere and also in a discreet area where you feel private. The upgraded units are very nice and I would highly recommend not too much to complain about this place very satisfied.

I was looking for an apartment close to work, and I searched all around. This one is definitely the best complex that I found and they’ve stepped up their game since those old reviews. That Victor guy isn’t around anymore. Tasha and Rosemary helped me out A TON. Tasha was great with handling my file, and she let me know where everything was at every single step of the way. Once I moved in, there were a couple of small issues, and all of those issues were solved within a week. I’m definitely happy with my decision to move here, and this place was the best place for the price in the neighborhood.

The apartment was nice and clean with minor issues. Maintenance staff always came fast when I submitted a request. I got back the full deposit at the end of my lease. The reason I gave it 4 starts is that I had a squirrel living in the roof scratching in the mornings that a was bit disturbing and the laundry room was full and dirty most of the time.

It’s not luxury living that’s for sure but it’s much better than where I was. Older units, but mine isn’t bad. Didn’t notice any issues upon move in. Quiet and nice neighbors. Excellent area (Western Austin is the best in my opinion). I wasn’t expecting anything spectacular when I moved in here but was just happy to be away from where I was and pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t a bad place. Hopefully my experience stays this way!
