We love visiting my dad at Vintage Grace. My girls always have a lot of fun fishing, walking around the neighborhood and seeing Sam. Jim and Kathie keep the facilities clean and well maintained. They do so much to ensure that there is a real sense of community by hosting events that support friendly conversation, catching up with friends and loving one another. We really feel like every time we go out there it’s a real heavenly place to be. I know personally that my dad is so happy to be there. Love you both, Jim and Kathie!

Vintage Grace is a wonderful place for seniors! First, it is a beautiful area to drive into. It has a park like landscape with several ponds. Some ponds are for those who like to fish. Second, all people who live there are so friendly. The residents see that each other are doing well. If someone is ill they bring them food and make grocery runs for them. Third, the owners go way up and above to care for their residents and the property. They have a heart for people. They see all are happy and taken care of. Vintage Grace is a wonderful place to call our second home. Kathie, Jim and all the residents makes us feel like family when we come for the winter months. We feel very secure and safe here at VG. The catch and release fishing ponds on property are a wonderful past time for my husband who loves to fish. Jim and Kathie are working tirelessly to make sure our community is clean and Beautiful. I don’t personally live in Vintage Grace, however my mother has lived there for 3 1/2 years now and she absolutely loves it.It is such a relief to know she lives in a warm, welcoming, and family-like community. Every time I have visited her, Kathie & Jim always wave at me, and make an effort to say hello, and make me feel welcomed as well.Absolutely love Vintage Grace, and would highly recommend it for any adult children looking for places for their parents to spend a peaceful retirement!

A dear friend of mine has lived here for 3 years now. I visit often and I love the feeling of family. Jim and Kathy (along with other neighbors) have been a God scent to my friend when he was ill and couldn’t take care of himself.They have potlucks, movie and game nights!!!I bring my dogs to visit and they love to run around and jump into the pond.

I’ve lived at Vintage Grace just shy of a year, and it has been wonderful! Everything the residents share about this place is true… It’s peaceful, there are activities, it’s beautiful, and there is joy and unity here. The one thing that means the most to me is that the owners, Kathie and Jim, only charge a fair and reasonable amount for us to live in such a great place. They use our rent money to sow back into the community, providing us with even more enhancements to the property. One thing that stood out to me when I was inquiring about living here is that Kathie told me that their motive is not to make money; their motive is the people… to offer a place of happiness where people can come and rest and enjoy their retirement years. They have lived up to what she said. It truly is a great place with great people!

My husband and I live in Michigan during the summer and fall months. Vintage Grace is our winter home. This will be our 6th winter/spring spent in this beautiful, peaceful and so very comfortable place. And we can hardly wait to get there!Jim and Kathie work hard to keep this little community so lovely and inviting as well as safe and secure. It is a place where people enjoy getting together and where neighbors feel like family. Jim and Kathie genuinely care for each of the residents and are quick to respond when there is a need.We feel blessed to have our Texas home in Vintage Grace. It is, indeed, our happy place!

I have lived at Vintage Grace for 3 1/2 years. This has truly been one of the best decisions about where to live in a tiny home!!Vintage Grace is a unique community with a variety of wonderful people….as well as standards that support the lifestyles we desire. The residents here are an active group with varying ages (ages within the guidelines for the community).A beauty, peaceful place to locate your tiny home.Positive experience all the way!!L.A.

Since I moved to Vintage Grace I have never been happier. It’s like living in a park full of doll houses. The owners live on-site and a quick to answer all the residents needs. Jim and Kathie Brown always do more than is expected of them. Great place to live.

I’ve been a resident of Vintage Grace now for 5 1/2 years. I absolutely love it here. It is beautiful, so well-kept, peaceful, and safe. Almost all of the residents have been here for several years or since inception of the community. Kathie and Jim, the owners, are amazing and caring people who look out for our safety and well-being in multiple ways and have invested so much into the community to build ponds, plant more trees, and to help us enjoy the amenities, wide-open spaces, wooded areas, and nature all around us.Examples: They publish a monthly calendar of fun events so that we can all regularly gather and enjoy each other’s company. We have pot luck events in the Community Center and other food and fun events in the Patio building, which the owners built for our additional enjoyment a few years ago. They have outfitted this building with glass patio doors for enjoying beautiful days, a great kitchen with quartz countertops, large-screen TV and terrific sound system for regular movie nights and concerts, fitness equipment, and games. We have game nights, coffee mornings, birthday parties, and exercise classes. Many residents also sponsor their own fun events, such as wine & cheese parties, BBQ’s, art classes, ice cream socials, pumpkin carving, etc. The owners provided a brand new dog park area for our canine friends and we have just had our first doggie birthday party! LOL. We gather for everything from long walks to fireside chats, while also getting to enjoy our own little cozy and comfortable homes.Kathie & Jim, along with our fellow residents, regularly help each other with such “grace” when someone is ill or needing help with various tasks. We have each made lifelong friends here… no shortage of hugs to go around when we gather.I thank Jim and Kathie for providing us with such a charming community and for fostering guidelines to ensure a beautiful place to live with the most aesthetic appeal and some of the most incredible sunrises and sunsets I’ve ever seen!Having lived the big city life with a long career in corporate America, I am so blessed to live my retirement years at Vintage Grace. It is such an amazing place to call home… I always say that I feel like I am both at home and on vacation at the very same time! :)

Absolutely the finest park home community ever! Ponds, trees and natural surroundings! The owners, Jim and Kathie, are wonderful people that truly care about making life at Vintage Grace extraordinary! They are 100% about making this fantastic community the very best in the US! It isnt about money, they truly care. A wonderful and rare experience. They continue to add to an already fantastic living environment. Moving here was one of the best decisions we have ever made!

We have been living here going on 8 years. We love this community and the owners Jim and Kathie Brown. The area is well kept and beautiful. We have never once regretted the decision we made on moving here. We feel the rules of the community are for our privacy and protection. Could not find a better place to spend our retirement years.

We looked at tiny home communities from Hill Country to East Texas and were fortunate enough to have found this wonderful community. The owners are some of the best neighbors weve ever had! The people who live here are all wonderful and we really enjoy spending time with them at our movie nights and pot luck dinners.

I have been living here for several years and couldnt be happier. The owners are very kind and dedicated to providing a well maintained and enjoyable small retirement community. They are attentive and provide quick assistance if a resident need arises. The community is in a semi-rural location, and there is an emphasis to blend in with the natural environment. If one is prepared to live without many of the conveniences of an urban setting and wishes to live in harmony with nature, then this small community is perfect.
