My experience with the summit was great I lived here about 3 years, the office staff and managers were ,great the customer service was top tier, work orders were always done very prompt I enjoyed the amentities I used the onsite gym and business center ,and I liked the amazon hub so packages never got lost .They even let me use a vacant apartment when they had to work on my bathroom. They worked with me at the end of my lease due to a property I planned moving to didnt have my apartment ready in time, for my lease end, that was a life saver, communication was awesome as well. My main reason for moving is being closer to my job, only complaint is seeing roaches however they did have pest control and they did treat it, hower with apartments if everyone isnt mandatory getting treated they wont 100% go away. But I would reccomend them.because thats something that can be fixed, with making all tentants be sprayed atleast once a month Thanks again for everything.

I’ve lived at The Summit for 6 years now. My experience has been EXCEPTIONAL! Initially I lived into a 2-bedroom and from there I transferred to a 3-bedroom. The staff and managers made my transfer easy! Each time I have a maintenance request it’s answered quickly and the maintenance staff always leaves the area clean. I have enjoyed the upgrades to the complex that makes its look much better and the add of the lockers makes it safe for me to receive packages. I enjoy living here and have just renewed!

It’s been peaceful 18 months at the Summit. The office staff, AMAZING, and I sincerely mean this.Always helpful the times I had questions or needed something, maintenance responded quickly, very clean, no problems with heat or air. My apartment faced the street and it was quite and nice neighbors and most importantly never a problem with parking. Again thanks for a great 18 months.

Great staff , friendly and very helpful. I have been a residence since last year December and had many concerns upon moving in to the Summit. The staff there from Cardisha to Samantha have been very responsive and have worked through all concerns I had.I am enjoying my stay and I haven’t been bothered with neighbors loud music or dogs being left out without proper attention or trash not being picked up. I would recommend moving in there if you are on a pursue of a well maintained property that’s affordable and have great access to surrounding amenities in Mesquite!

I lived in The Summit Apartments for 14 years. I know its a long time to be in an apartment in the same complex. No its not that I couldnt move. The staff and maintenance were exceptional. I have been through several staff changes. I wouldnt have stayed if I was not comfortable. I had the best neighbors after 14 years...Farewell To The Summit.

We have been here for almost a year and I can honestly say we love where we live at The Summit Apartments. The ladies in the office have always been kind and eveytime we had questions they were happy to help. The maintenance staff is absolutely amazing everytime we would request a work order it was done in an amazing time frame. They are always making sure the surrounding grounds are maintained and they will always say good morning or wave. These apartments were really nicely kept, super quiet, apartments have lots of space for the price. Samantha was super nice and helpful. She made everything so easy for us. Cant wait to move in.Update: When we moved in we found a few issues with the apartment however the maintenance team was quick to correct them and I have been very happy about all the help i have received.

I’m currently a resident at The Summit and I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better apartment complex to live in. The leasing agents are very welcoming, helpful and sweet! Our maintenance orders are usually completed within a day, not to mention the maintenance guys are very respectful. The office staff is very good with informing residents about upcoming updates to the property and parking is never an issue. Highly recommend living at The Summit if you’re looking for a pleasant and clean environment!

Very good place to live. They followed up after a work order was completed to make sure all was right and added one more to finish one small adjustment I needed done. I am on my 3rd lease here and the process is so smooth and the ladies in the office are so kind and helpful whenever I call.

Maricela Chavez is the BEST leasing agent EVER!!!I have had such an amazing experience working with Maricela! From the application process, to being approved, and now moving in. She is so nice, attentive and caring, and it shows that this is not just a job to her but that she has a heart for helping people. She goes above and beyond either if she can help you or not, by providing the most realistic information that she can give, and I respect that so much. I havent lived in the city awhile. Moved here in June of 2023. Very friendly staff and actually a quite community. Very close to anything you need and nice parks in the area. The only issue Ive had is the security gates not working properly numerous times. Everything else has been quite nice!

Very pleasant place to live, I moved with my sister about a year ago in July. Never had a single problem with these apartments. They are very clean and very quick to get to you if you need anything or having a problem. Parking is always great and also neighbors are super quiet and friendly. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful location.

Ive been a resident for almost 6 years and service has been extraordinary in maintenance, office help answering questions or concerns. Quiet for the most part with the exception of youngsters sometimes which doesnt bother me when they are simply having fun and behaving! Lots of storage space with w/d connections, alarm system and fireplace were the selling points for me! Rates are reasonably comparable with the surrounding area. Staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable.

I have lived here for three years. I like where I live as far as location and I have really good neighbors. The rooms are very spacious and maintenance calls are answered in a timely fashion. The only thing I dont like are the kitchen and bathroom cabinets that have a water line where it looks like the wood had rotted from a flood because you can see the water lines. The good thing is, my apartment has never flooded since I have been here. Thats the only reason I give it a four star and the amount that the rent goes up at renewal time. Other than that, the staff are friendly and they do community engagement events, such as ice cream days, holiday decorating contest,trick or treating and hotdogs and breakfast days. Even though the price is tough on me, I would rather live in this complex than any others here in Mesquite. Its safe, fairly quiet and accessible.

Easy application process. Office staff are very responsive, courteous and helpful!! Complex is clean and pretty quiet. Lots of parking. One bedroom apartment is generous size and very cozy. Alarm system included is a bonus. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a reasonably priced residence surrounded by tons of food and shopping.

I have had a pleasurable experience living here. I have rarely had any issues at all. My go to person is always Leydi she is so sweet and is always the same person each and every time. I only gave four stars because we are up for renewal and was advised last week that my lease would not be renewed due to previous rent being late. My communication has always been there so I am a saddened that we even have to be moving at this time. My rent has been paid every month even if I had been late. We are having to settle because there are not very many apartments that are available within the time that our lease is up. We were never given a warning or anything but I do know Texas is at will and it is not required for your lease to be renewed. I did not ask questions try to argue or anything. Im just taking it for what it is.

I LOVE living at The Summit! Ive lived here for almost 3 years!All repair requested have been SUCCESSFULLY completed w/in 24 hours. All my questions asked without hesitation! Joanna and Leydi are THE BEST Leasing Agents!I transferred from a 2 bedroom to a 3 bedroom with The Summit and my neighbors in both apartments have been GREAT! I would recommend this complex 100 times over!

By far the best community I have ever work with, I am so impressed and excited with all of the new opportunities working with this management staff that continues to make this property absolutely amazing. I have had one of the best experiences with this property the moment Maria became manager. Shes proficient, professional, she walks her staff through everything they need to do and she continues to do so.They are so kind and helpful it is such a positive experience. You need to visit and become be a part of our community. This team is super friendly, upfront, and honest about constructions, move-in dates and etc. I will absolutely be referring clients to live at The Summit Apartments. The staff is top notch. Although the location of our complex is right down the street from 3 other complexes that are not this great. The Apartments itself is beautiful and safe, close to many restaurants and stores near Town East Mall. I would highly recommend living at The Summit Apartments.

I highly recommend The Summit Apartments in Mesquite as your next home. The office staff and maintenance staff are top notch. Having been a property manager myself for 29 years, I know and understand the ups and downs of their profession. My home is just the right size and a perfect location for an elderly lady with health issues. Since I am home the majority of the time, there has been occasions that either staff or maintenance will call or come by just to check on me. It is great knowing your safety and well being are a priority and thank you Westdale Management for hiring the best!

I have been living in the summit over a year now. The office staff is amazing. They are always helpful and go above and beyond. They are very caring and professional.When ever I have had issues they jump on the problem and resolve it. It’s a great staff.They make it so comfortable and give you a peace of mind.. It’s is one of the cheapest places to live with the amount of security. I have referred people and they told me they love living at the summit too. I truly recommend for anyone that need a great place to live at then pick the summit apartments.

I lived at the Summit for a year and loved it. I had to move but it was not because of any issues with the apartments or staff. The staff was great. And, Leydi was the best. I would rent with them again just because of her. Any maintenance issues I had was taken care of in 24 hrs. Its a quite community and very close to the shopping district.

Keep looking, do not rent here. There is always an issue with these apartments. The gates are always broken. Three weeks in a row now Ive woken up to no hot water on the weekend, and when I call to report it I get a different excuse everytime. Maintenance requests are never taken care of in a timely manner and if or when they are all you get is a patch job. My living room window leaked like crazy when I first moved in and they would always tell me that they couldnt repair it because it was wet. Of course its wet, it is pouring rain. They never came back out again. I finally had it repaired myself. I could go on and on. This place just isnt worth your time.My first year had it’s ups and downs, but the last two years have more than made up for it. Every issue that I’ve had, and they few and far between, have been addressed in a timely manner. A few months ago I continued to have issues with my a/c, but I’m a big girl and like my place cold. I continued putting work orders in and they continued working on it. What more can you ask? At one point I even got a call from the front office to find out exactly what was going on. Last Sunday, I had a water leak. Monday morning maintenance was here by 9am, plumber here by 1pm, and leak stopped by 3pm. That’s phenomenal! I have boards covering the holes so that everything can dry, it’s Friday and carpenters were here to fix that! Often times we as tenants forget that we’re not the only apartments in the complex. If it’s a major issue and you call the front office, they get you taken care of as quickly as they can. Sure I’ve thought about moving to a newer bad shinier place, but you can’t beat the service that you get. Plus they keep the complex looking good. Thanks for reading all this!

This is the best apartment community to lease at in this area simply because the management team is outstanding. They are very professional, courteous and fair, while also having a great attitude. The property is always pretty clean and well kept, the floorplans are nice and the community is very close to schools, Town East Mall, businesses and jobs as well as tons of bars and restaurants. Easy access to I-635, I-80 and I-30 makes it a breeze to get anywhere in the Dallas area. The quality of residents that choose to live here has been steadily and noticeably improving over the past year. The ghetto, shady and less desirable types wandering the halls and laundry rooms has gone away and been replaced with good, honest hard-working people. That is thanks to the management really making an effort to attract good tenants and ensuring residents are happy. Young professionals, singles and couples, small families and empty nesters all call this place home, so its very diverse. Every time I visit the leasing office, there is always great new people and corporate professionals signing new leases lately, so there really is positive change happening here. They also hold movie nights and special events, so if you have kids youll really enjoy those because the kids really love it and it gives you a break to relax and enjoy your family time and meet other residents and families. There two pools, a playground and fitness center as well. The units themselves are somewhat older, and could use some modern upgrades. The community itself could use a remodel, which I could imagine happening in the near future. It is nestled down a quiet residential street, so there is great potential here. Maintenance requests are done within reasonable time, and the management is always quick to notify you if there is going to be a delay or sometimes just to ask how things went and to make sure the work was done to your satisfaction. Like I said, excellent management! It seems some of these negative reviews come from people who get denied for criminal backgrounds, no proof of income or bad rental histories and evictions. Or residents that failed to pay their rent or have lease violations and are on their way out. Dont be fooled. In my honest opinion, that is a good thing and a great change of pace. Plenty of residents are very happy to see the positive things going on here. If you are looking for an apartment in the Town East and Mesquite area, you wont regret calling The Summit home.

I do not know where the negative reviews come from but, having been in property management in the past for 29 years, I know you can make some people happy and regardless of how hard you try, some will never be happy. I have only resided here less than six months and find the office staff, maintenance staff, curb appeal, response to any requests you may have, taken care of within reasonable time and professionally. I recommend The Summit Apartments to anyone looking for a he instead of just an apartment. The gated community, exercise room, pools and playground are an added plus.

The apartments are a close proximity to the highway for easy commute and to so many shopping stores. My one bedroom is very spacious compared to others I saw and have washer and dryer connections. Not luxurious but very accommodating to fit my needs . Front office staff made the whole process a breeze, thank you ☺️

I just got my keys today!! Leydi Rivera and the rsst of the women in the office has been very helpful and warm towards me. I am a little needy and Leydi never seemed upset or gave me any kind of attitude when I reached out to her about a billion times.😂 I like my new place and cant wait to move completely in. The process was very smooth and easy. The area is nice and the schools arent far. Thank God! This is like a dream leaving from Mayan Palms Apts lol. So far Ive had a great experience.
