Good cheap apartment, its an old building and has problems but Dickinson the maintenance man is really good and helpful. I love the location, all the neighbors ive met are really cool. Is it an old property and have issues, yes but i am comfortable enough and its home for me.

This review is about the maintenance man Dickinson! He is the most helpful person on this property. Very professional, timely, he knows what he is doing and you can tell he really cares about his job. I am particular about the condition of my living and having Dickinson on property is one of the main reasons why I chose to renew my lease along with Ty and the front desk Jamacain lady. We are very happy with the maintenance man Dickinson, especially when my whole closet fell and he came right up after seeing my work order and put the whole thing back up. I really appreciate the staff in this building.

Wow, I am in such all of this property. The location is great. The views are also spectacular and I love how each apartment has its own style and it’s not a cookie cutter Style Apartment complex. I toured with Lyndon, And she listened to all of my specific wants and needs For a new place to stay Moving from Oregon and the apartment he showed me was right up my alley and definitely my style. I have never felt so Heard. If these surveys go far at all, he is definitely an asset to this community/company. I cant wait to move into my unit, it is going to suit me so well. Thank you Lyndon for showing me around, you were AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

I’m really enjoying my time living at The Merc. The location is great and the staff is very friendly! I had a really wonderful experience working with our leasing consultant, Lyndon. He is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, patient, responsive, and truly has been wonderful to work with. Of all the great things about The Merc, I would say working with Lyndon stands out as the best.

I’ve been living at the Merc for almost 2 years now and I must say that for the most part it has been wonderful. The building is in the heart of the city and the staff are very friendly. My main complaint has been the pool. It has not been maintained properly, and it’s been dirty lately. I give high praise to the maintenance worker’s especially Augustine and Dickenson. They have been wonderful on things we have needed done. All in all I would say The Merc is a great place to live in downtown.

I live at the Wilson and the leasing agents and on-site staff are amazing! I can’t say enough about how great our agent, Tyrese Powell was and how he assisted me with finding the right apartment and guiding me through the process. I know I can call the office for help with anything and they respond. Seriously, all of the on-site staff have been nothing short of impressive. From my move-in to everyday needs the staff are always there. The building and community at the Wilson are unique and I can’t imagine living anywhere else! I absolutely love living here and in downtown Dallas. I’d give it 5 stars but I wish the property management company took better care of the building. I understand it’s an old historic property but it is in serious need of simple restoration or basic upkeep.

I would love to thank JR and Agustin from maintenance they saved my puppy’s life!! On a routine potty break my puppy fell from the 6th floor balcony all the way to the 4th floor roof and when I asked JR and Agustin to help me they didnt hesitate for one moment! Thank god my puppy was unharmed when JR recovered her from the 4th floor roof! He even put his life on the line as he jumped across roofs to get my puppy! Thank you guys so much for your help I am forever thankful

I have stayed at the Element- Mercantile Place for about 4 months now. Lyndon was super helpful he made the process very smooth and made sure that our needs were met without hesitation! This is my first time staying downtown and I must say it has been way more convenient than I thought it would be. Quick access to the freeway and to food. Overall good experience.

OMG I love this leasing/management team! Let me just say Tru, Lyndon & Tyrese are awesome sauce!! They made me feel so welcomed and offered me this delicious sparkling water beverage. Crazy thing is, I’ve toured a lot of downtown apartments but this is the one that made me feel so genuinely welcomed and cared for like family! I recommend them all 100%

The Merc building offers an ideal mix of historic building charm along with the amenities of modern apartment living right in the center of downtown Dallas. Location of this building is everything along with parking being conveniently located on basement floors of the building and never finding myself having to wait for an elevator which are all key factors to consider with downtown high rise living and this place has all of that plus the bonus of always having great staff. I have always found Interaction with the property staff to always be such a pleasant experience because they friendliness and wonderfully helpful natures, especially Trumonica. She truly makes living in the building such a lovely experience just by knowing that she is always available to assist with any questions about leasing policies, building services, or just by simply brightening the day of the residents and other staff members with her smile and tranquil presence.

As a long term resident we’ve seen the time pass and changes come slow, then management shifted! The dynamic duo has taken over and Vasti & Jada have in a matter of months managed to change things like paint, cleanliness, entry door upgrades, better accountability at the concierge desk and security on site. They’ve taken complaints seriously and addressed each issue individually and with patience and grace. We appreciate seeing the effort, for the first time in a while the intent is aligned with the impact and we are seeing beautiful results. Keep up the amazing work ladies so I can live here another five years please!

Came into the complex not knowing what to expect honestly. But you guys have the most helpful staff member Mr. Lyndon. He went over and beyond for me and the process all the way down to the finish. He stayed on top of every email sent to him, every question I had was answered in a timely manner and every follow up phone call was returned. I highly recommend Lyndon!!!

I recently moved to Downtown Dallas from out of state. It was a big move with a lot of moving parts.There have been many times I have needed the help or guidance about my unit or even something local and Lyndon , Tyrese and Tru have really knocked it out of the park for me.Whether it was a question about local restaurants, when the pool was gonna be open, a great place to hoop, even some magnificent conversations on leadership and service.I have deeply appreciated their kindness and willingness to help me and my soon to be wife with anything we needed help with.Everytime I walk into the office for package or question I have deeply appreciated their genuine smiles and joyful hearts.I have connected with each one of them personally and it feels great to feel a sense of friendship and care from my management team.Whoever hired these individuals really picked well.Even the security guard Wendy is amazing ! Wendy always has a great smile, and I truly appreciation her willingness to help keep the place safe and secure. Which was a concern for me when first moving to downtown. She brings such a strong and caring energy to the space and her smile is contagious.When it came time for my renewal, and we were considering if it was best to stay or find a new place to live. We said to ourselves one of the reasons we wanted to stay was because of how much we appreciated the relationships we had built with Lyndon , Tyrese , Tru, and Wendy.Ultimately we decided to renew , and continue our journey here. We have loved our unit, and we have loved seeing all the ways management and ownership are seeking to improve the quality of the spaces , and amenities!I think many people have a dream of living downtown of a big city, I know as a kid growing up in Iowa I did. It makes living down here better when you feel who you spending your money with actually cares about you, and doesn’t just care about monthly rents.For us they feel like a dream team. Each one of them have really given us a special experience!Thank you !

The Merc has been home for well over 10 years now. I’ve experienced many changes over those many years, good and bad. More than anything else, the leasing staff and the many friendships made over those many years has been a determining factor in my decision to continue my residency. A meaningful shoutout to Ty Powell and Vasti De La Garza with exceptional service, going above a beyond, making themselves available to answer any of my questions and concerns to make my stay here as comfortable and secure as possible.. and if for no other reason than the professionalism and genuine concern they have demonstrated to me, I am happy to call the Merc home.

Location: Great location as its near every major freeway in the Metroplex.Great community downtown, however, a lot of unhoused people walking around and sometimes access the garage stairwell and completely trash, defecate along with urine on stairsBuilding: Cool building, affordable for the location, however, access to amenities have been limited or completely restrictedStaff: Amazing Staff, specifically Ty, Landon, & Tru, a great crew that will take care of you!Security team is fairly new but great team! Maintenance is getting better with response time but really great at fixing things the first time!

My experience so far has been good. Ive been living here for a little over a month now and the people in the leasing office have been nothing but helpful! Dont get me wrong there were some bumps. Upon moving in my Key Card didnt work. However Breona stayed past closing to get it working. My washer didnt work either. However, maintenance delivered a BRAND NEW one. Both maintenance and the leasing office staff (I believe his name was Mr. Jerry and Clarissa) stayed in communication and followed up whenever there was an issue. The security has been nice as well. So far I am loving the location, the fitness room, the diversity of my neighbors, and the apartment itself. The walls are not super thin so I dont really hear anything from my neighbors. The main thing that needs to be addressed is the elevators that need to be replaced and the garage gate that needs to be fixed. If they can get that together this would be a wonderful place to live.

The front desk really does a good job. But I dont know how guesses end up at you without you being aware. Please enforce policies. Enforce. For example, In other places ... the concierge have to talk to the residents to confirm access or they tell guest to call whoever they are here for.

The Merc has great views, amenities, and history!Location:The Element/Merc are both very centrally located in the heart of Downtown Dallas. With a walkability score average of 97, you are close to shops, restaurants, parks, and entertainment minutes from your front door!Price:Downtown has been a great price point compared to Uptown, Oak lawn, and Turtle Creek for the past several years.Staff:I personally have enjoyed working with the leasing office, Camille, on issues that occur and seeing results in a timely manner. Camille has help tremendously with issues within my apartment, leasing renewals, and getting the word out about fun events around Downtown Dallas! Camille is a personable and kind rep that does take the time to listen and help provide me with options and clarity.I plan on living here for a long while and recommend this property for all!

I moved into the Merc at the beginning of this month (March, 2020) and it has been a great experience!!! The staff has been super friendly and helpful and quick to respond with all my questions...The property itself is beautiful and I can not say enough about the amenities. The gym is top notch and all the rec rooms and outside areas are beautiful!And to top it off the location is perfect! Right smack in the middle of everything!!! I am walking distance from anything I may want to do...
