    Kat Cherry was the listing agent for a rental property I inquired about. From the very beginning, she was VERY pleasant, helpful and responsive, even with her technically being out of office for the holiday. I was able to do a self-guided tour within an hour of speaking with her. She answered any questions I had and my application was done and processed the next day. For personal reasons, I decided to pause on moving forward with renting the property- and she was more than gracious and understanding of my decision and let me know that in the next few months when I am ready to either rent or buy, that she would love to assist me.     We have been tenants with TexCen Realty since 2018, and our 1st experience was not the best. Our original property manager didnt seem to care about her renters it was more about quantity, not quality. However, that all changed in 2020 when Lori Padilla was assigned to our home. Upon our 1st conversation with Lori we knew that we were going to have a totally different experience as she introduced herself letting us know she was taking over and asked if there were any new or outstanding concerns we had. Lori has been amazing throughout the time we have known her. Shes not only a great property manager who knows exactly what she is doing, and will ensure that our needs are met, she is also understanding and compassionate. She is quick to respond and will reach out during the process of ant requests and will follow up after it has been completed to make sure that we are satisfied. When our lease was up in May of 2023, we didnt hesitate to go with her recommendation and continued to rent through TexCen even though we have a different property manager.     I bought an investment property a few years back and Texcen was introduced to me by my realtor. I worked with Lori and she was professional and responsive from looking for a tenant through to contract renewal this year and everything in between.     We have rented with TexCen for 3 years.Brittany R has been our rental agent the entire time, and she has been nothing but helpful and kind.Anytime we have had an issue or question, she always responds quickly and precisely.Whenever we have had any issues with our house, we would fill out a maintenance request, and usually someone would come by within a day or two to resolve it.We had to use the emergency line once, and even then the response time was very fast as well.TexCen has an online portal which is super easy to use to request maintenance, and pay rent.Texcen also sends monthly emails on various topics, but usually its on how to maintain your home. They also send reminders for when bad weather (like a freeze or flood) is coming and what to do to prepare.We have been very happy with TexCen!

    Celia Trevino has been an absolute pleasure to work with, patiently answering all of our questions and making sure we are happy each step of the way! Although this is a busy season, she managed a really quick turn around that allowed us to get into our first rental home this week--and we love it! All minor repairs we requested were taken care of by kind/professional contractors within 1-3 days after moving in. There are so many moving pieces that go into making a house a home, but its clear that Celia has solid relationships with everyone (owners, workers, clients) and keeps everyone happy in what could otherwise be a super stressful time.     TexCen is a good management company. My husband and I have rented in Austin and New York and been upset with most of the management companies weve dealt with - harassing one minute, not returning your calls the next. TexCen has been such a departure from those experiences. Lydia Villa has been particularly excellent. The house we moved into had some issues that needed to be addressed before we could occupy the structure and she took care of absolutely everything. When our oven broke TexCen sent a knowledgable repair man who got us a new oven - not some bargain basement oven, oh no, a top-of-the-line oven that happened to be on open-box sale. It cooks like a DREAM. When our garage door track came off the wall Lydia immediately sent an expert repair person who fixed everything, gave us his card, let us know all the details of the repair and to expect to need a full replacement later. When our front window broke TexCen worked with several repair companies to find the one that would just provide the replacement part, lessening the time a repair person would spend in the house during COVID - the right decision. They have been so responsive. The portal for rent payment and maintenance requests is easy to use. TexCen has exceeded our expectations.

She went above and beyond to make my property ready for listing which required extensive repairs and cleaning.     TexCen is our new Property Manager and I have to say...we are VERY impressed so far! We have lived in our duplex for 9 years, about to sign a 10th year and we had the same property manager for the duration of our lease. Great people, but they were headquartered in Round Rock (about 2 hours from us) and getting reliable and qualified maintenance people to address any issues we had at our home was a struggle. Our most recent situation was a water leak on an outside faucet. TexCen sent someone the SAME DAY as my request and it was fixed. Fixed to completion. Not just rigged for the night, but FIXED. That was never the case before. I hope that we can expect this level of professionalism and response in the future! Thanks, TexCen!

    I have been so so impressed by Kat Cherry. She has been on top of things all the way. I am in California and I needed to find a reliable property manager that would go beyond the call of duty to inform me about the condition of the houses I invested in. I did my research and I felt that Kat military background give her an edge over other property management outfit out there.     When we moved out of state, we hired Mandy of Texcen Realty to manage our property. We were new at being landlords and didnt know what to expect. Mandy made the process easy and efficient. She oversaw repairs required to get the property in shape. She provided - and oversaw - her own team of workers for some projects and, for other projects, inspected the work done by crews we knew. She waited for us to make the major decisions but always provided a recommended course of action based on her experience. At the same time, I didnt feel we were bothered with the minor stuff that she simply took care of. Although everything went smoothly in the end, Mandy was patient while we changed our minds a few times about what we wanted to do. And our tenants moved in ahead of schedule.

    I am posting a review as a tenant at a texcen realty property from 2014 to just this month, so four years. I have lived in multiple different apartments and houses in my life, and I would say texcen realty has been the best to work with. The few times we have had issues at the house- a/c went out, plumbing issue, and maybe one other random occasion of something serious, I would put the service request in on their website and they would always promptly reply and get back on the next business day, sometimes same day if urgent. They also worked with a contracting company who would come out quickly and take care of the issues. I also like the fact that everything is online - paying the rent, putting in service requests, and all the lease documents. They also send out monthly reminder emails and just generally have great communication with their tenants. We worked with the same specialist the entire time, so Celia is the one who made all this work great, so shout out to her. She has been super helpful in the ending of our lease process as well. Ill just say that if we had not have finally bought our own house, we would have signed another lease to stay for our fifth year.

Lori is, by far, the best and most reliable realtor I have ever had the pleasure working with.     As a tenant, Texcen Realty has been the best property management service Ive ever worked with, and Ive moved seven times in the past nine years. Amy Mozingo and David Mozingo are some of the nicest folks you will meet. They are honest, straight-forward, compassionate, and lenient when called for. They treat you like a human being (rather than just another cash machine as some realty companies or property managers sometimes do), and keep your best interests in mind. Communication is prompt and thorough, there are no gotchyas. They respond quickly to repair requests, and follow up to make sure the work is completed. They are happy to answer and clarify any questions in lease agreements, and relay any concerns to the property owner. Texcen sends out monthly helpful reminders for best practices around the home, including seasonal advice, and they do everything they can to help you secure your entire deposit back (assuming you do your part). They truly work to find a good fit for both landlords and tenants, and everyone is happier in the end for it. My experience has been a good one, and I would highly recommend this company to prospective residents.

    Texcen realty is an awesome property manager. I am currently living in Park Avenue apt managed by Joe D. Friendly, nice and helpful. My lease expires this July, but I needed to get a new 6 month lease. Its a one year lease normally, but Joe helped me get the short term lease. Hes very helpful and cares about the tenants. The rent for Park Avenue place apartment is pretty cheap, considering its location. All bills (water, electricity, etc) are included in the rent. I would definitely recommend Texcen Realty, and especially the manager Joe! . easy to work with and responsive.

    Dave Leonard worked with us on leasing our home in Round Rock which was rented the same day he put in the sign on our yard. This is our first attempt of becoming a landlord and he educated us very well on what to expect with the process. At the same time he worked tirelessly to get us another home, a duplex.     I lived at La Fiesta apartments for little more than 6 months and it is unfortunate that I had to move to Seattle and sublease the unit. My property manager was Joe D and honestly, from the little time we had, he is the best ever! He was responsive to any issue you might have and very more than helpful. I know that subleasing process can get depressive sometimes, yet in my case it was as smooth as could be thanks Joe’s guidance and involvement.Living in La Fiesta apartments has been a great experience, the place is a very secure apartment complex with a really nice well-maintained pool and a laundry room on-site. The unit that I lived in was very bright (thanks its huge windows) and spacious. Not only it is really close to University of Texas campus, also it is central to bars, public transportation and many restaurants. Maintenance has been very responsive and cautious. From my experience over the area, this place is probably one of the best places to live with a really reasonable rent in the entire north campus area.

    I am so glad that Celia was able to assist me with the purchase of my new home. I was able to get a washer, dryer, refrigerator, and blinds and was grateful because I was ready to sign on the dotted line without those items.     I lived at Norwalk Condominiums for the last year and a half. My property manager was Joe D and I honestly have never had a better one. Ive lived all over Texas and Joe D. will make you feel very well taken care of and not neglected. Any repair request I submitted was either handle same day while i was at work, or the following day. More than exceptional service when it came to basic or complex repairs. I had an old AC unit, which they replaced with a new one, and even left 6 filters at my front door step. Joe makes sure all his tenants are in good standing, I made lots of friends at this location and did not have trouble with theft or damaged property. Everyone was polite and looked out for one another. Joe makes sure dog owners pick up their poop, cars arent left ideal for days taking up parking spots, and the trash is placed properly. Hes dedicated and organized about his job. Full of communication, always writes back timely to emails and texts. Greatly appreciated! Its hard to find qualities like his these days. I would still live there if I hadnt bought a house recently. I had 9 months left on my current lease, but after speaking with Joe about buying my home, he understood how the market works and allowed me to break my lease at a very low one time fee. He only charged me 20% of one months rent to break, instead of 80% like my contract read. He even found a sublet tenant, and saved me the trouble -another thing my contract said I needed to do on my own. Hes a reasonable guy to say the least. I received my deposit check timely as well! He assured me if I needed repairs or anything for my new home that he knows people all over, so keep in contact. I struck rich with this property manager, the best of the best, no doubt! And, Id like to add that when my first lease ended, he did not go up much for release. I still paid well below what a lot of my friends were paying for a 1 bedroom apartment in such a wonderful location. 10 stars for Joe D!

    Our experience with Amy was phenomenal. She is an excellent real estate agent who hit the ground running whenever we contacted her needing help finding a house. We found ourselves in a bit of a pickle at the beginning of the year and needed to find a home ASAP.     I had a wonderful experience living in this last house owned by Texcen Realty. My landlord was Greg Stahl. He did a wonderful job making sure we were happy and everything went smoothly. In the past, I have had horrible experiences with other property managements, I wasnt able to talk to someone, I had to go in, and just overall bad taste in my mouth every time there was an issue, and they werent helpful. Not this place. Communication was open: every time I had a question or needed help, Greg was always there to answer and help us out. Thank you for a wonderful experience.     Caleb Cooke is amazing! I had moved to Austin last year and couldnt find an apartment locator or Realtor who could or would help me. So I leased an apartment that I never liked and felt lucky I could get even that with the Austin rental market so tight. I finally decided enough was enough and tried the house search again when my lease expired. I dont remember how I stumbled into Caleb, but that was the best thing that has happened in my Austin housing experience.He was patient, listened to my preferences and only showed me things he knew I would like. When it was time to make a decision, even though his property management firm doesnt handle this home, he stayed with the process, always available for questions and support.Calebs professionalism and his willingness to go the extra mile made this overall a much more positive experience than I had last year.     First, let me introduce myself. My name is Mary Guerrero, married to my husband Roger for 27 years and have recently become, Empty Nesters. The day before my daughters wedding, we received a phone call from our landlady in Round Rock that we had 30 days to move out, as she sold the house we were renting. You could imagine my panic!! Nonetheless, we started searching and packing. With much anxiety a Realtor happened to offer her assistance from a neighborhood request I posted. Each home we went to thereafter had 3 or more interested parties pending. Talk about being discouraged. I had no intention to move away from our kiddos or Round Rock but ya know, LIFE.Our last hope was a house in Georgetown, but that fell through too. Why I didn’t start here I don’t know. I dealt with a lady named La Donna Keesee. She was very helpful, fast and friendly. The service was amazing any questions or concerns I had she answered in a fast and timely manner. I didn’t feel like I was a burden like other places made me feel.     I lived here for a year and enjoyed it. Theres a piano where I lived and it was a pretty nice neighborhood.Also when I had a issue with my the bathroom after I emailed Joe D a plumber was sent out the nextday. I appreciate this sort of prompt service.When there was an issue with the dryers after some diagnostics he also replaced both of them. Overall its pretty nice that things a well maintained and kept in good working order.Near the end I renewed it but later found out that I had to move due to my work, Joe D said that wasnt a problem and he would let me out of the lease early as well as help fill the unit.Thanks!I appreciate it =)

    I am the tenant that lives in Billy Brown rental property. This is in direct response to his review of Texcan Reality and Ladonna. I have been with them for three years and have rented two places from them. Ladonna and Texcen Realty have been nothing but professional through this whole process. I rented the home that Mr. Brown owns and NEVER paid my rent late, as a matter of fact I always paid my rent early. I was notified that they were requesting late charges but there was nothing paid late. In regards to his comment of constant demands, I contacted them four times for repairs in the two years I lived at the property. Once for a ceiling fan that was faulty and not working all the time. They offered to replace it BUT instead of wasting their money we figured out was wrong and it has worked fine since. The second time was when high winds blew out the fence and they hired their own contractor to fix it that did a not so thorough job.The contractor that they hired also did not work weekends and I had to take off of work to accommodate him. I also contacted them about a leaking front door when we had floods because of a bad seal. I had a river in my living room that was not supposed to be there. The last request was because of subpar construction and installation of the kitchen sink causing it to fall out of the opening. So if these are constant demands I guess then it would be considered that. I spent my own money to prune the palm trees that were neglected for gosh knows how many years, I spent my own money laying 27 bags of mulch to make the yard look nice and never asked for reimbursement. Pictures of the landscaping that was done by myself were sent to the owners (Mr Brown), and they did not acknowledge the hard work that went into making their property look nice. Ladonna and Texcan reality are a professional team and do work for both the tenant and the homeowner. Ladonna and Texcen reality have said that they wish they had more tenants like myself. Ones that dont complain about the little things and pay their rent on time. It is unfortunate that Mr. Brown feels the way that he does, I just feel that the tenants also need to be represented. Mr Brown states the previous tenant took them to court and he won, I do believe that Texcen reality had some part of him winning the lawsuit. Just another indication of the great job Ladonna and her team does.

    Texcen realty hooked me up with a very cheap single studio efficiency for 695. The inside of the apartment building reminds you of a hostel (which I like) and its very easy to make friends with your neighbors. Joe, the manager, is a very kind and understanding person. Whenever you have a problem, go to Joe and he makes sure to help you every time never leaving you feeling like youre getting the short end of the deal.

    I was in a bad living situation. I was in need of a place to live in a hurry. I met Kyle and asked for help. Within two days I had a place to live within my price range and within two miles of work (downtown). To say the least I wad impressed.Fast forward to a year later. I suggest Kyle to my parents looking for a home they can retire in. Theyre very picky, lake front, lots of needs and the property has to be prefect. Kyle probably took them to 35-40 properties over the course of 9 months. Until finally we find the one. This prefect property was well under budget, had everything we needed and more than we could have asked for.Whether you need a rental or a purchased home, ask Kyle. I couldnt have asked for better customer service, dedication or tenacity in a realtor. Thank you for all youve done for myself and my family, Kyle.

But when I saw Michael’s listing in person, there was an attraction so strong that I felt like I had found the apartment that I was always meant to be in.
