    Our family of ten just enjoyed the BEST week at the Meant to Be property in Ponte Vedra, Florida. It is a beautiful beachfront home with amazing views. The area is quiet and family oriented. It was so peaceful sitting on the beach and listening to the waves with the cool breeze blowing on the hot Florida days! The home is well appointed, the owners provide everything you will need, even beach towels! There are many extras for the family to enjoy that are not provided at other rental properties. They thought of everything! The home was very clean and the furniture is comfortable and up to date. The 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths allowed lots of room for a large family. It is close to many good restaurants such as The Reef, Osteens, Harrys, Aunt Kates, and The Conch House and only a short drive to St. Augustine. We made our reservation through Portoro and they were wonderful to work with. The process was efficient and worry free. I will be returning again and would definitely recommend this home to anyone wanting a GREAT vacation!

    Loved staying at this companies vacation home in Port Aransas. Beautiful home and really clean and had everything we needed to cook and hangout by the beach. The checkout process was the easiest process I have had in a while!! Definitely will be staying at the Sea Shack again!!

    We stayed 4 nights in Austin, TX. There was an issue with the owner of the home we had rented. This required us to move out from the house late in the evening of the second night. This was not pleasant. However Portoro management company was very responsive to our needs and helped us move out. They put us up in a nicer home and gave us a refund. The second home, Skyfall, was in the hill country. It was nestled at the end of a lane among trees making for a wonderful private location with perfect views. Even through this was last minute change the place was clean and well stocked with the basics. The beds were comfortable (my number one requirement) and the house had a cool vibe. The pool and hot tub were awesome. The 4 stars is because of the issue with the first owner. Otherwise, 5 stars for Skyfall and the management company that made it right.

    My family and I stayed at Sunny Side Up in Port Aransas, Texas. The house was great - clean, the decor was lovely and the kitchen had plenty of utensils, plates and cups. The proximity to the neighborhood pool couldn’t have been better. It was right outside the porch fence and was a hit with our young kids (four kids ranging from 7 months to 3 years). And we were pretty close to the beach, too.A word to the wise: Don’t rely on Apple Maps to get you to the property. You’ll never arrive. We spent an hour driving around Cinnamon Shore North, where Apple Maps took us, and in reality, the house wasn’t located in Cinnamon Shore. It’s in the next community over.The house came with a golf cart; however, the process for obtaining the cart was lengthy, so we burned up quite a bit of time getting the cart from the rental place five miles away.Be sure to bring your own beach towels and if you plan to cook in the house, pack paper towels, aluminum foil, baggies and chip clips (stuff we didn’t think to pack but would’ve been useful to have).Despite a few challenges listed above, we’d definitely stay at Sunny Side Up again!

    We stay at Beach Haven in the Grand Caribbean in Port Aransas every summer. It is a beautiful condo with a really nice pool and a boardwalk to the beach. It’s clean, has a well equipped kitchen, is well maintained and has an elevator. We love it!

    Our family stayed at Dolphin Dunes in South Ponte Vedra Beach. Portoro/Wren staff was very responsive to all of our needs. The property was very clean and maintained well. We will definitely stay at one of their properties again.

    We rented Casa Driftwood #1. It was a beautiful house with three bedrooms all on the second floor. Each room had a king bed and an en-suite bathroom. Only one room had a tub. There was also a half bath downstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked to adequately prepare a meal (you need to take basic condiments)and there was outdoor furniture on every deck in the house…something like four decks. I like the privacy fence in front of the property, and there was a pier for fishing right outside the door. Although we didn’t get one, a golf cart was included with the house. It was a very short walk to the beach. A negative is the pond right outside the door because the mosquitoes were huge and hungry. Summertime hazard. Also, the street is narrow to get to the property and signage is poor.All in all it was a great property. We probably won’t rent this particular house again because it is too small for the entire family. We have enjoyed renting Stsrkey Properties over the past 18 years.

    Great house with easy access to beach. Excellent to bring your dog with you because of the fenced back yard. The elevator made going up and to the third floor very easy for those with limited mobility. We rented a golf cart and hardly used it. Bed were very comfortable and was fairly well stocked with all the appliances needed. We would definitely rent again.

    I have to say from start to finish it was a great experience. Working with the Starkey/Portoro team was easy from the contract to the follow up, while we were on site there were a few questions outside little things that we needed and no matter what time they answered and resolved. They provided this digital guidebook you can download to your phone that made it very simple to find and do everything we needed. Now, lets talk about Down the Shore. SO CUTE. It is very beachy and bright. The fact alone you have access to the garage is HUGE. We were able to put our electric bikes in there along with our fishing gear, it was refreshing to get to use it (Other places I have stayed usually have it locked with personal items) The place itself is a smart house, so everything is quick and easy to log into. Also, the kitchen is fully stocked. Pots, Pans, dishes, cups, glasses, flatware, mixing bowls... we baked a cake and had everything we needed as we would in our own kitchen - again not the experience with most places we have stayed, one place had one fork). The beds are super comfortable, and my husband completely owned me in shuffleboard which was a great kick-off to a four day weekend. Lastly, so close to the shoreline and the happenings in Port A. Highly recommend staying Down the Shore - we will definitely be back! K&J - Feb 2024

    Stayed at Sofias Sandcastle on Ponte Vedra Beach, St. Augustine, Florida. Its a wonderful and cozy home. You cant be any closer to the beach and ocean. It was lovely and so nice to have 3 full bathrooms. We especially loved the outdoor shower with hot and cold water...a real plus. This was our fourth visit to this beach and a different home each visit. This is one of our favorites. It wont disappoint.

    This house has a great location near all the things you need in Port A, plus is super spacious and designed for everyone to have lots of comfy space yet still have fun activities you can spend time doing together. Great rental!

    We had a wonderful time at Martinis and Marlins! We had plenty of room for our group of 8 people. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was INCREDIBLE! It had everything that you could want including room to stock your own food. The fridge was clean and at a great temperature. The house was extremely clean and NO signs of roaches (rare in Port A area). We found the living room a very comfortable place for everyone to hang out. The decor was a great touch of classy beachy. We loved having the outside shower and hose to clean off after spending the day at the beach. The pool was a perfect place to hang out. My kids LOVED playing in it. The covered parking for the golf cart was great to keep the seats cooler as the sun got hot. The location was the perfect mix of very close to the beach, AND everything that town has to offer! We will definitely be back!

    This condo was awesome. It was very roomy and had a very well equipped kitchen. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. Loved my mornings on the balcony watching the sun rise with my coffee. Close to town, we enjoyed renting bikes and riding on the beach. Beach in front of the condo was not crowded and we also enjoyed the pool! I will definitely stay here again!

    Stayed at a great house close to the beach. House was very clean and well-maintained. It is in a great location for getting to all of the fun things to do around Port-A, but far enough from the chaos to be relaxing. We had 6 adults and 6 kiddos and the house fit us perfectly without feeling cramped. We would definitely recommend this house and would definitely stay there again!

    We recently stayed here for a long weekend with our two year old. The location was perfect! Close enough to the part of the beach we like to visit yet close enough to town to visit the shops and dinner. The place is decorated perfectly for a beach themed home. The rooms are spacious and the bed was comfy. The porch was perfect for those beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The pool was a great size and fit multiple families visiting at one time. I would stay here time and time again.

    The people at Starkey Property were very polite and helpful...key retrieval was easy... had no problem accessing the property. Very nice sitting on the spacious balcony...the 4 of us enjoyed the breeze & the view overlooking the pool surrounded by palm trees & tropical landscape as we talked and listened to music. The living area was just right, well decorated, the beds were comfortable and the property is well maintained. Great stay!· Time went by too fast!

    We did a quick weekend get-a-way for my moms birthday. We enjoyed staying at the Lazy Fun condo with Starkey Properties. The condo was clean, well decorated, enough towels for everyone and kitchen appliances. Lazy Fun was quiet, even though there was a pool right in front of the condo. We were on eleventh street and so convenient and close to the beach, stores, and restaurants. It was a fun weekend!Kristy and family

    You guys were great!!! Very impressed. I was glad to see that the customer service was not gone by the way side. This was our first trip to the ocean as a family. It was my husbands and four younger daughters very first time ever. The house was perfect, we absolutely loved it and did not want to leave. We rented the Xanadu in the Lost Colony #24. It was very spacious, clean and updated. The pictures that are online do not do it justice. The view from the master bedroom balcony was my favorite place sun up to sundown.     Absolutely wonderful! We had 2 of units both decorated so beautiful and classy. The pool is amazing. We also had a massage at the spa. A must do on your vacation list. Staff is amazing in both office. I will think of no other place to stay when I go to port A

    My family and I couldnt have been happier with our choice. We stayed at the Conch 1 at the Seashell Resort, one of the newer properties. It was spacious and roomy, and the finishings were perfect. The location was minutes from the beach and the atmosphere was calming. The only issues we encountered was the parking. Some of the other guests had more vehicles that were allowed and ended up taking 1 or 2 of our 3 available parking spaces. The check-in process was easy. The staff was very helpful when I arrived at the property the code they gave me would not unlock the door. They reprogrammed the code and stayed on the line with me until I we were able to get in. Overall, well definitely be returning.

    We rented all 4 Balinese units for 3 days in February for a big birthday celebration and LOVED IT! All are brand new, have a great layout with plenty of space, nice roomy bathrooms, and feature showroom quality coastal interior designs. Super comfy beds with nice outdoor amenities including a brand new swimming pool. Staff were superb! Highly recommend this place and will definitely be back again!!!

    First time to rent a house been staying in condos every summer for over 15 years.My son and fiancée decided to have a beach wedding and with many family members coming we decided renting houses was the best way to stay. We rented the saltwater a 6 bedroom 4 bath with a pool and can’t believe how much space we had . The house was very clean and updated with everything we needed the beds were very comfortable didn’t have a problem falling asleep. The property managers at Starkeys were very nice and helpful check in time is at 4 but they called me the day of check in to let me know the house was ready that morning and as soon as we arrived we could go straight to house which allowed me to get everything unpacked and ready and spend time on beach before the rest of family arrived that night. We are already planning another family trip hopefully we will make this an annual event and will definitely be renting a house! I would definitely stay at the saltwater again! Thanks for sharing your house and allowing us to enjoy our stay in comfort!

    2020. Dito to our stay in 2019 except for the pool issue. Everything was great & the pool was very nice & clean. We were able to take our son & grandson this year. They loved it & had a great time. The house is so nice & everything is like brand new! We relaxed & enjoyed the upstairs views & the bottom stairs was great during the day. Wish we could go & stay every month. An awesome place to call your vacation home !! We hope to be able to go back in Late Sept of this year & most definitely back next year. Go eat at the Blue Water Cowboy & order a pizza from the pizza place on the corner of Ave G close by. Loved our stay!2019. We really enjoyed our stay & will be back next year!! The property and amenities were awesome. Our beds were comfortable, the furniture & appliances were very nice & we felt as if we were visiting someone’s brand new home. We enjoyed having 2 master suites upstairs and having a completely furnished apartment on the bottom level by the pool. During the day, we loved relaxing & spending time downstairs by the pool. At night, it was so peaceful sitting on the upstairs balconies watching the view of Port A & the stars. The only issue we had during our stay was with the pool filter. I only mention it because it was resolved within 30 minutes of a phone call. If you want a nice place to stay when you visit Port A, this is definitely the place!! We’ll be back!!

    Amazing condo! Loved all the beach decorations. The beds were super comfy and the condo had an amazing views of the ocean and Great access to the beach 🏖. Loved that each room had its own bathroom. The condo had everything we needed and we will definitely stay at G-3010 Beach Haven again.

    I took our youth group (about 25 youth) to Port A. The house we rented through Starkey was GREAT. It was about 2 blocks from the beach. Very very nice. Comfortable and roomy, considering how many we had on our trip. Overall it was an incredibly enjoyable trip. Well probably do it again next summer.

    Our family has stayed in rentals in Port Aransas for many years, specifically a few Pirate Bay units. But Unit 310 will be the only one we book from now on. It is absolutely adorable! We found it to be extremely well stocked, and has a great outside sitting area, fully decorated with a large screen TV and gas grill. You can tell that the owners really care that their renters have a fun time. There are plenty of toys, games and puzzles for everybody. I came back and recommended this unit to everybody!!! 310 is our home away from home from now on!

    Our group stayed at the property over New Years and had an absolutely lovely time. The property management team was helpful and accommodating from the very start , responsive and considerate. The home was better appointed than the photos displayed , beautifully decorated , well maintained , well equipped. Plenty of room for all the age groups to gather , the shuffle board was so much fun with victory of our 12 year old over the 40 yo athlete :) center of town location to beach and shops. Had a very memorable stay and would highly recommend no plana cabaña ! Thanks

    Location was great and offered great access to the beach. Having a golf cart included helped with getting to the beach. The outdoor space was perfect each night and offered a great place to hang out. We will definitely recommend to our family and friends, and will definitely stay there again if we return to the island.

    No Plana Cabana was perfect for our large family! Place was big enough for everyone to have their own space, but also open enough on main floor for everyone to come together for family conversations and games. Pool was a hit for the kiddos. Great getaway for family to escape the Corona quarantine! Would love to stay again. Only complaint would be lack of oven mitts and policy on white towels (I was scared to even let the kids use them). Overall great experience with home and rental agency!

    We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Balinese Suites over Valentines day weekend! The suite itself was one of the most stunningly beautiful places weve ever stayed at. Well appointed with everything we could have needed, and decorated with modern, stylish, high end furnishings and an incredibly comfortable bed. They really paid attention to the details! The hospitality here is unmatched! Upon arrival, we weren given a couple of gift certificates to Montego Bay, a hip little bar and grill across the street, and let me tell you, the bananas foster was TO DIE FOR. 😍 We also took advantage of the free beach cruiser bikes they offered at the front desk and had a blast peddling around the island and got AMAZING massages at the on-site spa! Thank you Balinese Suites for the PERFECT Valentines day weekend! We will definitely be back!

    The Commons is a very nice complex, peaceful, perfect space, and comfortably fit 2 families. The complex and pool was always clean. It was quiet and we never heard the neighbors when in the condo. Everything you need! The washer and dryer was a plus as we used it daily. Recommend bringing extra toilet paper, paper towels, spices(they have some but very limited), and paper goods. But if you forget anything, the Dollar Store was nearby! Loved it and will definitely stay again. The management company made the stay easy and worry free. Thank you Starkey!

    The house was awesome! All the beds were very comfortable and the place was nicely decorated. There was plenty of parking and the house is close enough to the beach you could walk - but bring a wagon. I loved the pool being right across from the house as it made it super simple for the kids to run back and forth. Id stay here again.

    We enjoyed our stay at Free Birds. The house was so nice and roomy. The backyard was great for our dog. We even used the smoker/BBQ pit to make ribs and sausage. It was a close walk to the bay and flats to cast the flyrod. Its a great spot and we highly recommend it!

    We really enjoyed our stay at The Blue Buoy! Was a great location in a gated community. We had everything we needed for a great vacation. The only thing I would suggest as an upgrade for the owners... since this is an upstairs unit, some sort of lift for our luggage would have been amazing. We really struggled carrying our suitcases up those stairs! We will use Starkey Properties on our next trip to Port A!

    We rent a beach house through Starkey Property Management every year for the holidays - and we couldnt be happier with their service! Nice rentals to choose from, easy check in/out process, friendly staff, and the home we rent is always spotless. We are looking forward to December so we can get back to Port A for a nice family vacation! Were always booked! :)

    The condo was new and very clean with high-end finishes. The walk-in showers were spa-like. It had a private patio which was also nice. The only negatives were that it was a bit of a hike to the beach and there were no views. Also, the pool was a bit small. The staff was great to work with. I would recommend this property.

    We loved the condo we stayed in. It was at Grand Caribbean Condos in Port Aransas. We stayed in #300l. It was a three bedroom, 3 bath condo and perfect for 2 couples and our mom. We had an amazing view of the beach. The boardwalk to the beach was wonderful and lit at night so if you want to stroll the beach in the evening. The condo was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking pots and pans and utensils. There is a washer and dryer. We were quite comfortable and enjoyed the condo. It is at one end of the complex so there is no foot traffic in front of the condo.There is an elevator which was important for us since our mom uses a walker.Some reviews have commented that the condo needs updating. This depends on what ones expectations are. We were fine with formica counter tops instead of granite, the blue carpet didnt really bother us. We will rent this condo again.Starkey Properties was wonderful to work with. We had an issue through VRBO with an incorrect email address so we werent receiving necessary information for our trip. I contacted Penny at Starkey Proerties and she was so professional and gracious in helping me get the information I needed.

    We stayed at the Pelican beach house, and had a wonderful time. The house itself is an A frame with a nice master bedroom, two beds upstairs, a roomy kitchen and a HUGE deck for entertaining.     Spotlessly clean, fun and quirky. Everything was there for a pleasant stay including boogie boards, skimmers and even a soft top surfboard. Fun to sit downstairs in the cool breeze and eat and chat. Close to everything including the beach. Liked the open concept living area but also the privacy of three separate bedrooms. I’m going back!

    This place was great. We had a WONDERFUL condo that everyone in our group loved. We will stay here again. The pool was nice and clean and our kids loved it. The only complaint we found was that there was limited number of BBQ pits for grilling and they were all in the pool area. We ended up buying a tiny one to make the kids hot dogs on. But it was great.

    My family and I have stayed at a Starkey Property for each of the last 6-7 years for family vacations. We have been very happy with not only the properties that we have stayed at, but the Starkey office staff as well. The properties that we have stayed at were beautifully decorated (usually in beach décor), clean, and quiet. The office staff have been always been helpful, courteous, and professional. My family and I will continue to stay at a Starkey Property for our future vacations. I have and will continue to recommend Starkey Properties to anyone planning a vacation in Port Aransas, Texas!

    This was the 5th time we stayed in this exact condo. It is always clean when we stay here. It provides everything you need in the kitchen, the AC works great. The only thing I would suggest is there needs to be work done on the stairs going up to the condo. They are rickety and kinda scary. Overall its always a good experience staying here, and we enjoy it!

Extremely well equipped and comfortable house with a private hot tub and what might as well have been a private pool! Beach Bungalow is the way to go!!!!!

    Nice clean newly remodeled , we needed a couple of items and made a phone call and they where delivered right away. Great location, next to the beach with a new boardwalk connecting the too. Was a little bit of maintenance and construction going but that did not bother us at all. Overall was a very very great experience. Will do it again!

    We stayed last weekend in the Lofts at the Balinese Spa and Yoga Retreat in Port Aransas. This boutique complex is perfect for a couples getaway, The rooms are beautifully decorated and the location allows easy access to restaurants and shopping.Even though I was not able to participate in spa treatments this trip the owner was kind enough to give me a tour of the facility and I will definitely be back for a full day of pampering in the near future.

    This was our very first trip away from the snow and cold of the Northwestern Ontario so we were a little nervous and really didnt know what to expect. When we called to make our reservation the woman that we talked to made it a very simple and satisfying experience - any questions that we had she answered immediately. Once we arrived at the Starkey Offices in Port Aransas we were met with enthusiasm and immediately felt that we had made the right choice in a Realty company. The Grand Caribbean is a very nice place and our condo served our purposes to a T. When we encountered any difficulties (e.g. I left my purse and some other belongings in a hotel on a short trip to Weslaco) they were extremely helpful in assisting and solving our problems. The condo itself was great and we would definitely have stayed there again - the beach is just a short walk down the boardwalk and the view is spectacular. We enjoyed out stay in Port Aransas so much that we are going to be returning for two months next year. Since we didnt decide to book something until late in March we were had a hard time finding exactly what we wanted and since we have decided to bring our dog with us this time there werent as many options open to us for rentals. Starkey did their best but didnt have anything available for next January/February but we were fortunate enough to find something that suits our needs and that is dog friendly. When we go to PA in January 2015 we will be looking to book for the year after so will definitely be checking with the Starkey staff.

    One of the Best places weve stayed at for a great rate. My family and I loved the space, the kitchen was fully equipped. I was even able to wash all our clothes before heading out Sunday morning. We will for sure book this place again!

    PERFECT!!!Very clean Condo in a great location. Tortuga is bright and cheerful. There is a gated pool right outside the front door, and a larger pool with a hot tub, playground and outdoor fireplace near by.The kitchen is very well stocked for all your needs. The bedrooms are all decorated cute with comfortable beds!!Great place for a Family getaway. Would recommend Tortuga to anyoneT & J Bandera Texas

    We stayed at Lazy Fun #6. Beautiful unit and quiet complex. Loved that you can park right outside your unit. Unit is at the end of the complex, in front of the pool but we couldnt hear anybody when they were at the pool. Lots of room inside. Enough for 3 adults and a pre-teen without feeling we were on top of each other. Will definitely be renting from Starkey Properties again and this unit.

    We had a fantastic experience with Starkey Properties and at Sirena Azul. The place was exactly as advertised and worked perfectly. Starkey was great in being able to secure early check-in for us that day. They were also very responsive to needs and flexible when some maintenance was needed. They were always very pleasant and professional to work with and we will definitely be using them again!

    We just stayed a week in #28 at Lost Colony Villas. This was our first rental with Starkey Properties but not our first rental in Port A. From our first communication with them it was by far a better experience. Professional, flexible and extremely accommodating. We will be back next year for another week with our family and we will be booking that stay very shortly with Starkey.

    Ive rented several houses over the years through Starkey and the office has always been helpful. When I was running late, they would call me to find out when I would be arriving and arrange for me to be able to pick up the keys to the rental. Directions were included to the property which were very helpful.Renters need to realize that properties are individually owned and it is up to the owners to maintain the property. Some (certainly not all) renters are horrible and think they have the right to tear up property, bring pets to property that accepts no pets, smoke inside non-smoking residences, throw cigarette butts all over the place, leave trash everywhere and just basically be rude. Not all property is the same or cared for the same.Ive not had any problems renting property with Starkey.
