I’ve been helping a Spanish-speaking friend of mine get a home placed on his lot in Apache Shores and it requires multiple permits, applications etc . Truly is not an easy process. When I finally contacted the Spectrum Homeowner management company members - it was a game changer! Courtney Mullin and Samantha Vargas have been amazing. They talked to me through and then actually got my account set up for me, when I struggled doing it myself. They emailed me promptly with documents that I needed and helped me upload them and get them to the HOA for approval. Then also notified me about the next step in the process and the timeframe and what to expect . They were just so quick and efficient with handling all of these things and I just am so incredibly grateful. To be a such a large company, it felt like I was being helped by a good friend…in a small town!

Happy with Spectrum AMs service to our community.We have seen a lot of turnover with community managers that can disrupt progress, but Crystal is our current manager and is simply outstanding with her communication, advice, and knowledge on HOA issues.As an HOA board member, it would be helpful for Spectrum to offer better project management tools through their portal. I hope they can make that improvement in the future to enable board member successors view details about previous decisions.

SpectrumAM has just taken over the management of our property owners’ association. I was having quite a bit of trouble getting registered. I emailed SpectrumAM about this issue. Knowing the enormous process involved with this transfer, I did not expect to hear anything for some time. But, to my surprise, Monica responded immediately, and continued troubleshooting for several more emails. Turns out the mistake was my own in entering my email incorrectly on a form. Monica made the correction and all is now fine. If this level of interest and proactive response is indicative of our relationship with our new property management, I think we are looking at a splendid partnership. Thanks, Monica!

In his email notifying me of the approval, he outlined the conditions required to proceed, and said to let him know if I had any questions. I sent him my questions, and he responded that day!I really appreciate Andrews timely responses, his professionalism and service skills. With every communication, he always ensured I was welcomed to ask questions. Quick and Easy -- if only the rest of life could be like that.

I would like to give a big shout out to Denise Johnston and Andrew Hale for helping to expedite the process of our pool/extended patio approval. The last item we were lacking was the HOA approval. A neighbor recommended I email Denise directly and I was responded to immediately and had the approval that evening. Our build window was to begin in just a few days, and Denise made sure that we did not miss it. My family is very thankful that we can begin our backyard dream as planned. Also thank you to the Cold Springs ACC for their volunteer time and responsiveness.

Spectrum overall has been a good experience, but more than that, Denise, our Community Manager in Cold Springs, has been without a doubt the best I have experienced with any HOA. She is responsive, takes ownership, and treats the community as though it were her own. Our prior Community Manager with Spectrum came nowhere close to providing the level of service Denise has. It is for her dedication and responsiveness alone that I rate Spectrum 5 stars. They are a great company, but Denise is their crown jewel.

Ive recently had to submit two architectural improvement requests to Spectrum within the past six months. One for a remodel and the other for roof replacement due to the recent hail storm event. Full disclosure, I was apprehensive starting my request and going through the process as I heard of many bad experiences with other HOA mgmt companies. My experience was quite the opposite with Spectrum and their representative Andrew Hale. Everything from the on-line forms and instructions were user friendly. Within a couple of days, I was contacted by Andrew Hale who requested some additional information to help support my request. I worked with Andrew over a two day period exchanging emails and phone calls to get everything in order. Within 7 days, I received approval for my new shed. I credit the timely approval process with the work that was accomplished with Andrew. Andrew was very professional and knowledgeable in this area and I would not hesitate recommending Andrew for HOA work and support. Based on this experience I also will not hesitate to utilize the current HOA processes for any future improvement requests or seeking any additional information tied to HOA processes. When our Community Manager was unexpectedly out of the office for 2+ weeks, Jacquelyn Hass was assigned to our account. She was prompt to respond to e-mails & phone calls. When our easement fence was damaged by a 1-vehicle accident, she immediately began communications with the drivers insurance office & worked closely with our Board to expedite getting that damaged fence area repaired. She was always professional & quickly adapted to her temporary assignment as our community manager back-up. She did an excellent job!

She met with me, on more than 1 occasion, to ensure that all of our questions were answered and that Spectrum would be the right fit for our neighborhood. She has continued to make herself available to our board members even after our smooth transition to Spectrum. Sonja is beautiful, intelligent, kind, funny, professional and makes you feel like that friend you love but just dont get enough time with. I am so happy that we have made the transition and become a part of the Spectrum managed properties. The future looks bright for 2017 and as a board member I couldnt be happier.

We are a small, single family housing community in East Austin. Our HOA have used Spectrum for about 10 years now and we have had some good experiences and some that were not so good. At present we have a community manager, Denise Johnson, who is first class. She is highly responsive, digs into our CCRs and is tenacious with the city. We are only on a light contract but she gives us 5 star service. Bottom line, its not about the company but the manager you are assigned. Please dont steal Denise away from us!!!

The ACC members have been fantastic. They set aside time to meet with us at the lot so that we could discuss the orientation and key exterior features. So far weve been very happy with everyones response time and customer service.

I tell all my clients that a neighborhood is only as good as its property management, so I feel more than confident suggesting any Spectrum community. First rate all the way!

I could say I have had good and bad experiences with my interactions with Spectrum if I didnt want to be responsible for my own actions. But honestly I havent had anything but great interactions with Spectrum. I have gotten notices from them for failing to abide by the restrictions of the neighborhood, which my neighborhood put in place, not Spectrum. They are just the ones WE (as a neighborhood) have hired to make sure these ordinances are abided by. Kevin, our Site Manager, is easy to work this when I have received a notice that I have done something or been lazy and not put things away in a timely manner. Candace, our Community Manager , she is very prompt getting back to me whenever I have any questions concerning rules, or activities or meetings for the neighborhood. I would compare them to our neighborhoods previous HOA management company but it would be not comparison, like comparing them to a turtle. They are so much more on the ball and easier to have access to both online as well as a phone call away.

I recently needed to have my roof replaced which required approval by the Architectural Control Committee (ACC). My request was urgent since every time there was high winds a portion of my roof would blow off and if the winds were accompanied by moisture…well you can imagine.I submitted my request two days after Christmas. Andrew Hale, our ACC Coordinator, followed up to obtain the necessary information from me to complete the request and submit. Over the next few days, he responded to my inquiries, provided updates on the status of my request, and conveyed the urgency of the request to the ACC. My request was approved in a little over a week despite the holidays and I’m pleased to say the roof is being replaced as I write this review. It should be noted the ACC has 90 days to act on a request. Thanks to Andrew, I was able to get the approvals needed to make the repair and protect my property.

Erin answered all of my questions and sent me the forms I need to get the ball rolling. That one gesture made my initial interaction with the management company a whole heck of a lot better than my initial contact with the last HOA I was part of. Their management company was never especially helpful. So, thanks Erin! You were a huge help and you should make sure that Spectrum rewards you somehow. Ask for a pony. They should at least get you a pony.

Im specifically reviewing Shannon Federoffs job as community manager; our previous community manager through Spectrum (Andrew D.) was inept at our meetings and impossible to get in touch with: in short, he failed to make any improvements and was a complete waste of HOA dues. But so far Shannon has been terrific and her presence in the community more than compensates for the lousy work of her predecessor! She officiates the HOA meetings very professionally and takes a genuine interest in the community. She has been extremely responsive to homeowners concerns, including several of my own: she has promptly addressed issues with code violations that owners have brought to her attention. She also personally came out on the weekend to oversee the installation of a new parking lot. Today she addressed an issue with tenants who were moving out and leaving junk mattresses and couches behind! She took care of this promptly despite it being late in the day on the Friday of Fourth-of-July weekend! I continue to be impressed, and just wanted to register my opinion about her work in our community: terrific!
