I have been a resident at Mercer Square Condominiums for over several years, and it has been our good fortune to have Sean Tellez as our building manager. In my experience, Sean has always been friendly yet professional, and he is very responsive to the residents’ and building’s needs.A great example is when Dallas has experienced freezing temperatures both in 2020 and 2022. In both instances, many across the metroplex were adversely impacted, and our building was no exception. However, the quick response by Sean and team ensured that any issues were quickly addressed, and our building experienced minimal downtime.A more personal example is when I lost my keys late one weekend, and I reached out to Sean. He drove from his home in order to allow me back into my unit. These examples and many more give me the confidence to state that Sean and team go above and beyond to ensure that myself and the rest of the residents in Mercer Square are in good hands.

These are great apartments and the staff is wonderful as well. I have dealt with Veronica many times on the grounds and in the office and she has been wonderful every single time. Helpful, kind, and friendly. She is true professional and an asset the property.This would be great place to live.

Weve used Somerset as our condo property management co for a while. Early on, Somerset went through a transition phase and we had multiple property managers in a short period of time. Luckily, thats now behind them and Marilyn has been a stable fixture in our community, constantly improving our property and providing invaluable guidance. Marilyn stepped up to the challenge, acclimating herself to the property and learning our complex history. Ive had the pleasure interacting with Marilyn on a regular basis as a board member and she is continually responsive, professional, and assists any way possible. Wed be a mess without Marilyn! Thank you for everything you do!!!!

It was the best move we have made, especially since Marilyn Weinberger has taken over our account. She really goes above and beyond to take care of us. Sean and the team at Mercer Square Condominiums have been friendly, prompt, and attentive in my experiences with them over more than a decade. Sean is very knowledgeable about the property and gets to know residents on a personal level, helping to foster a sense of community and connectedness. The team is responsive -even at off-hours and weekends - resolving issues in a timely manner with good communication.

I was one of the first residents at The Shelby when I moved in almost five years ago. Back then, I was a college kid with no neighbors and little idea of how to live in a multi-family building. Property managers came and went (very frequently), and rarely stayed long enough to fix problems I ran into. But when Marilyn Weinberger came along, she stuck around, and was obsessively dedicated to keeping the building in working order, and to keeping residents happy. People could always get answers to questions or get broken gates, elevators, etc. fixed promptly. Marilyn seems genuinely committed to the success of our little building and that means a lot. I am sure Marilyn stays awake 24/7 and keeps her ringer on the highest volume because she never misses an email or call. It doesnt hurt that shes also extremely kind and patient!

Sean Tellez is the best property manager I’ve ever worked with. I have owned a number of condominiums and haven’t always had great results with management teams. He and his team are the best and the fact that he and Jason were there for Christmas Eve and the Christmas holiday to deal with frozen pipes says it all.

They are always on top of making changes and respond quickly, especially during emergencies, and you can tell they value the community.They are very friendly and I am grateful that theyre around to always help keep things running smoothly. I really feel that they are one of the reasons our houses are a home.

Kristin Munson is an excellent manager of the Highlands! She is friendly and responsive to all of our requests! Her team is well trained and professional. Pedro is an absolute gem! I have complete trust is Kristen and she has done a dynamite job during the Covid pandemic. She has gone out of her way to protect the residents and employees and has managed to keep us well informed on Dallas county restrictions!! She is a positive presence for everyone!

I own a townhome in the Carreras community and know I can count on our management company Somerset and more specifically our property manager Marilyn to oversee all projects and be professional. I do not have to worry about the management of our property and know we are in the best hands with Marilyn. Somerset is lucky to have her!

For 12 years my home has been in the Mercer Square Condominiums where I have been fortunate to have Sean Tellez oversee that property. First, as the the maintenance man, and as of late, the main property manager.I have alway remarked to others about how great it was to always know the issues that arise in and around my home are going to be taken care of in a timely and professional way because of this great property manager we have.As an example, the extreme cold weather event this past Christmas Eve caused a ruptured main water pipe on property. Sean showed up along with Jason the current maintenance person on Christmas Eve, .... ON Christmas Eve!... to do what could be done. However, at that time, all that could be done is for the water supply to the building to be turned off until a plumber could arrive to make the repairs.I at least felt grateful that we knew the specific reason why we had no water. I pretty much expected a lengthy outage due to the Dec 25 holiday week. But, Sean came through for us and somehow found a plumber to arrive on the 26th to get our water running again.Credit to that plumber too but without Seans effort on Christmas Day itself to arrange that, we could have been inconvenienced for a much longer time. I wonder how many calls to plumbers he had to make and even how many actually answered their phone that day.I recall a water emergency that I had a while back in my home that occurred 2:30-3AM. A quick call to the emergency line got a return call from Sean right away. He said he would get up and drive down right away to help investigate the problem with me. And, he was here quickly, around 4AM. Thank you again Sean for that.I will repeat again that I always thought that myself and all the residents here should consider themselves very lucky that we have Sean Tellez. Very conscientious, always very thoughtful of the needs of ALL the residents. He has his job to do, he knows his job, and he does it. Just passing on what is rightfully due for the hard work and dedication he always puts forth.Ken

Marilyn Weinberger (2400 Thomas Community) SAVED the DAY by coming to my rescue in a last minute time crunch!! The night before our closing, she expedited(and worked after hours) to complete an HOA questionnaire for me that I had failed to order. I thought we were going to have to extend our closing date, but we were still able to close on time. This would NOT have happened had it not been for Marilyn and her willingness to help me out!! I cannot say Thank You enough!!!!!!! You have a great asset with this employee.

Im editing an old post, which was never resolved but I also dropped my efforts upon the change in our property manager. Roughly 2.5-3 years ago, Marilyn Weinberger took over and took on the challenges facing this community. It’s now 4th of July and enjoying the afternoon with my neighbors and Marilyn in fact in our common area which now has a grill and picnic table. The energy and sense of community has changed a great deal in three years so it felt appropriate to change my review to match the current tone and quality of our community and management.

I was taking out my garbage this morning & saw Marilyn Weinberger, Shelby Courts Property Manager, nailing a loose board on our back fence. I know that she checks the property regularly, but to repair a fence is way beyond the call of duty. We are low on funds at present & it REALLY REALLY means a lot to see her helping all on her own. She is totally unaware that I saw her but I want her to know that we do appreciate her tremendously.

We have the best concierge staff. Period. Betrick is always sunny, kind, professional, helpful, and knows everyone’s name and is fun to share words with. She always sends packages right up, or brings them herself. She opens the door, always, when my hands are full or when we go on holiday or come home with suitcases. I love that she’s been a family member so long.Chris is the consummate professional. He keeps your business private. That’s incredibly important in such a small building. If I tell him a problem he fixes it or addresses it immediately. Like when the gym door won’t open.Maura, the latest addition is kind, attentive, and also, I know she will keep any personal details of me or any of our residents private. She always sends packages straight up and is great keeping us safe during COVID.Amy has been an incredible addition. She gets things DONE. She has changed the complexion of the building immeasurably, and made it feel like a more cohesive community. This may seem silly, but even the “Welcome Home” signs she puts up in the elevator are a nice touch. She was instrumental in getting the scrolling marquis up in the lobby, takes massive other/additional initiatives, loves our animals, and is private and kind. She also keeps us safe in COVID. She also is, in no small part, responsible for the reduced staff turnover.Alberto I’ve worked with very little, but I know he gets stuff done as well. Simply by nature of the fact that never noticed anything awry or broken. He’s always friendly and clearly is on top of all maintenance.I hope I have not forgotten anyone. It’s a great staff, thank you. If only we could get our HOA fees lower!Cheers,Jessica
