    I moved here in 2019 and cant imagine calling any other location home. This is a wonderful location close to banks, stores, entertainment and many wonderful restaurants. The office staff Mrs Tammy and Mrs Linda have been absolutely fantastic going above and beyond over the past 5 years of my stay with a welcoming friendly smile each and every time I enter the office. Mrs Angela (manager is the best.) She even went as far as caring for my cat when I was in the hospital. I had absolutely nobody else to turn to. Thats most definitely going above and beyond and asking for nothing in return. (Genuine caring people).The maintenance men here are always on the ball. Ive never in all my years experienced such quick responses in my work orders. Our maintenance men are polite, respectful of your apartment and do a fantastic job.Mrs Debbie (Maintenance manager) runs a fine crew here at Rock Creek. She really knows how to keep this location running smoothly. She is always willing to stop her cart and say hello to your fur baby when out and about on the grounds. Thank you for yet another year of comfort, security and a place I can continue to call home here at Rock Creek Apartments.

    Quiet apartment, it is near white rock creek so that is nice as well. The maintenance team and staff are always kind and helpful. I have talked with Tammy and she remembers me, I’m sure she remembers others as well because she seem so genuine. Debbie runs the maintenance team and she is always working hard to resolve anything that comes up, she and her peers are part of what makes this place better each day. I do recommend getting your own washer and dryer or renting one from the leasing office if living here, however if you don’t mind waiting for a machine from time to time you wouldn’t need too.

    I’ve lived here for just about 8 months and I don’t have any hard complaints. I only rate it four stars because the apartments are very old and could use a lot of remodeling. It’s not a bad place to stay for the price. I haven’t had any issues with bugs. Grounds are well kept. Assigned parking so I never have to look for a spot. Quiet neighbors. Also I appreciate how they have package lockers so no stolen mail! If you are considering this place solely because of pricing and not stuck on the aesthetics i would encourage you to sign the lease here. I don’t think I’ll be resigning my lease when it’s up because I would like something nicer but I have enjoyed my time staying here !

    Rock Creek represents a fine value for the money. The units are certainly older but the complex is quiet and the amenities function well. There are also a multitude of nearby stores and restaurants, and its a fairly short drive from downtown. I really enjoyed the walking trail nearby: it has lots of greenery as well as access to a creek. A major feature of the complex is the swiftness and competency of the uniformed maintenance staff. Most repair requests are handled within a 24 hour period. The office staff are nice too. Interior pest control is at 100%, I dont recall any bug in my house that I didnt accidentally let in through my front door.The only hairline fracture I can really point out is that whatever power grid Rock Creek is serviced by is among the last to be reactivated in a serious power outage. There were only two or three during my 3.5 year stay but they each lasted a few days, and in one case an entire week. If you are a younger person who can tough out the cold or heat youll be fine but if you have children or the elderly in your household Id make sure to have a friend or family member in town you could stay with for a while.All in all Rock Creek is a good, well located complex for tenants looking for more affordable living circumstances.

    Absolutely love these apartments. they’re very affordable and make the process very easy to love in. ive been here since december and everything has been smooth. the maintenance people are always on top of things as soon as you put in a request.

    I have been a tenant at Rock Creek Apartment only since mid January 2024. The office Staff at Rock Creek are friendly ladies. The maintenance people are attentive when request has been made, the come immediately to address what issue that has occurred.     I have lived in 2 different apartments here for the last 6 yrs. The office is always kind. Tammy knows my name when I call. Deb is a hard worker for Maintenance. She helped pick out my second apartment when I wanted something bigger, and it is perfect. I gave them 5* bc of the amount of care they put in. It is an older complex but it is quiet and safe. My patio sits over White Rock Creek. I get to see the raccoons, squirrels, and ducks every year! There is a park on the other side of the creek that is very nice

    I have been living in these apartments for two years and I have no complaints. Whenever I need maintenance to do something in the apartment they respond and show up right away. Neighbors are friendly and for the most part quiet and respectful during quiet hours! Parking has never been an issue, truly recommend this place if you’re looking into moving in. Staff is amazing and super super straight forward with the moving in process!

    Ive called this apartment complex home for nearly four years, and its been the perfect fit for me since I was 18. Despite being a young parent, Ive never felt unsafe here. The sense of community is strong, with friendly neighbors always out and about. Dont let negative reviews deter you—come see for yourself. Ive had a wonderful experience, with any minor issues promptly resolved by maintenance. Tammy, in particular, has been a rock, helping me ease into this experience as a young parent. Highly recommend giving this place a chance!

    My mom has lived there since Feb 21 (I am a guarantor). She absolutely loves her apartment! The office staff is very friendly (especially Tammy). They keep maintenance up and are quick to respond. The apartments are very clean and kept well. They even replaced the windows in her unit last year! It is in a very convenient location near grocery, shopping, events. Definitely would recommend looking here is you need a place to live!

    I’m coming up on a year and have nothing but good things to say. The staff, both office and maintenance are friendly and professional. The maintenance teams response time is quite honestly amazing… I had my ac go out recently and I didn’t submit it as an emergency because it was going to be a cooler night/day; but they still came first thing in the morning and had the issue fixed within an hour. Also they are very pet friendly. My dog drags me to the office just to say hi to staff. They’ve played a big part in making my transition from Arizona go so smoothly. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

    Ive lived here for 3 and a half years so far and I absolutely love it. The property is very clean, and they are always improving things. Management is great. If you submit a work order for anything its taken care of promptly, and professionally. The property is beautiful; pushed up against the forest theres a meadow in the back that fills with rabbits at night. The pool is incredible, always clean and very high end. The units are extremely spacious for the price. This place is great.

    The complex is well maintained. The office staff has always been friendly and helpful; maintenance requests are always completed quickly; the grounds are nice and clean. Rock Creek is in a great location. There are several stores and food places in walking distance; and night life a mile away. Easy access to highways. Im glad I found this place. Ive had no issues in 2 years.

    Management has made this a breeze, to be honest. Had a lot of bad luck with other complexes but Rock Creek has been nothing but charitable and efficient with our needs. Easy to pay rent, fast and responsive maintenance and decent units for the price. A good choice if you need a reliable place to stay

    I lived here 13 years before moving. The complex is clean, peaceful and quiet, staff is attentive and maintenance is quick and thorough. The rates are great, especially for a beautiful area with 3 grocery stores, shopping, restaurants, parks and nightlife all within walking distance. Highly recommended!

    Amazing staff! Leasing process was easy start to finish. They accommodate every need & request. My unit needed fixes when I moved in, and maintenance came immediately. Property is clean & tidy. Way better than other management I’ve seen elsewhere. 10/10 would recommend.

    Just updating my review, I’m generally very happy living here! We’ve been here for a little more than a year :) Maintenance responds well and parking actually isn’t too bad most of the time. The apartments aren’t the fanciest, but they are decent sized and well priced which is what I care about! I definitely recommend living here to anyone looking for a good place

    Apartments are nice and the property is pretty private. Close to multiple grocery stores, shopping centers, restaurants and galleria mall. Not sure if you can see Kaboom town from apartments, but about two mile walk from the event. My friend enjoyed living here for multiple years

    Ive lived here for a little over a year. It often feels like it should be sketchy, but mostly isnt? Im always pleasantly surprised by how responsive maintenance is. I love how close we are to 635 and the DNT - its easy to get anywhere. Its really close to some great restaurants and shops too. Is it the nicest apartment ever? no, but thats fine

    The staff here is fantastic. The maintenance crew is always on top of everything especially during the cold weather making sure everyone’s heat is working. This place is also really close to a lot of stores and restaurants making it a very easy commute to possible work opportunities or just having a night with friends and/or family. Staying here is really worry free.

    My experience moving into Rock Creek has been the smoothest transition into a new apartment home I ever had. Upon moving, the staff in the office always answers the phone, always communicates to their residents. Additionally, Rock Creek maintenance team is fantastic! They always fix my problems within the 24 hours of my request. Bugs have not been an issues at all which is surprising because summer is approaching. Overall, I am grateful for the experience I have had with Rock Creek. Thank You!

    I love the apartment complex they keep everything nice and clean around the place and if you have pets you surely don’t have to worry stepping in dog poop cause the owner of the pets cleans up after them me personally Indont own a pet but just from looking around you can see and the maintenance here are super great if there’s a problem they are there same day to fix it (love it) and the office staff are great they take their jobs seriously and I mean this in a good way they will help you with any concerns and questions they are just all around great. I love staying here no loud noise and people hanging out at night in the complex just peaceful here.

    The parking is really my only complaint. Got my vehicle towed twice. I wish there was a smidge more uncovered parking closer to my door. Maintenance team is on point. There are a few ladies in the office that sweet. One even suggested a resource to help me with my late rent when I lost my job. If I wasnt moving to Michigan at the end of our lease, Id renew with them. Also, great location!

    Absolutely in love with my apartment, the patio is so open and brings in a bunch of natural light. My unit offers a great amount of privacy and neighbors are very pleasant to live next to ! Maintenance is also very fast working when it comes to any problems and it’s conveniently close to everything!

    UPDATE 3/1//21 (cant add a new separate review)I have once again renewed my lease. Still loving it here. A HUGE thank you and shout out to head maintenance, Deb, and office gal Nancy for getting me a new oven/stove. I asked and they delivered. What a great surprise when I got home today. They all bend over backwards to help residents. A big reason I keep renewing!!I have lived at RC for 3 months now and Im very pleased. There were a few minor maintenance requests, as with any new apt. but to my surprise, they took care of the issues very fast. Maintenance staff is top notch. I recently asked for an install of something that belonged to me, and they not only considered doing it for me, but agreed to it and did a great job. Once again, it was done right away. The last complex in Dallas I lived at would have just said no we cant do that and that would be the end.Also top notch is the office staff. I dont know all the names, but all are super friendly. Nancy was the one who took my initial call months before I moved in and was a fantastic help all the way thru the process. To this day she is always helpful and pleasant to me. I have experienced, in the past, staff who gave off the, dont bother me, impression. Not these gals.Not only do I love the apartment and the great backyard view, but the entire staff at RC make life there better. I think the maintenance supervisor is Debbie and I thank her again for doing me that favor.I plan a long stay hereRent here!!!

    Ive lived here for over a year and a half now. I moved to a larger apartment once I started my second lease. The apartments arent bad. They are spacious, clean, and affordable. They are older apartments so the designs are a little odd but it is functional. The ladies in the leasing office are amazing and will do everything they can to help. The maintenance manager and team respond quickly and are friendly. My one major complaint is the parking lot and parking situation. The road is horrible. It needs to be repaved but the offices decision is that it needs to be painted. As I said Ive lived here for over a year and a half and they have painted the road twice now and called it parking lot improvements. You get one covered parking spot and there arent enough uncovered parking spots. Far too often when my wife and I come back and there are NO spots open in half of the complex. We would gladly pay for a second spot but thats not an option either. Where are you supposed to park when there are no spots open?

    I wasnt sure how to create a new review from the one I left last year. Somehow the old one let me edit.Its been almost 3 years living here in my one bedroom. Its a pretty spacious living room and I like having my stackable washer/dryer in-house. There is a laundry room on my level and building though with easy access but I dont use it. I like going to the gym to workout. It has quality equipment. I dont really like how much noise I can hear from neighbors above. Its probably best to move on like the 3rd floor. My maintenance requests usually get handled timely. Ms Tammy is still my favorite in the front office. 😁 If you have trouble with rent, they do provide possible resources for assistance. I never have to drive far unless I want to getting things that I need .. So many restaurants and stores nearby!

    Lived here 4 years. Whenever I have put in a maintenance request, it gets handled quickly; which is really the most important marker of the management of an apartment complex from my perspective. I feel like I get a great deal overall for the price. An incredible creek view, spacious apartment (Im still trying to fill with stuff,) and a very friendly and responsive staff. The one concern I had is due to visitor parking; but theyve implemented a new initiative to address that; and ultimately the issue is due to other residents, not the complex itself. I dont see myself moving anytime soon.

    My husband and I have lived at Rock Creek for a few years now. When we initially moved here, we rented a one bedroom apartment that was very spacious and for a reasonable price for the area. Now that our family is growing, we moved to a two bedroom apartment and we love it even more! We have a view of the creek, and because of the layout of the apartment, our apartment feels more like a home than an apartment. The staff is also very welcoming, friendly and helpful; especially Tammy and Deb, they are both wonderful and care for their residents and the apartment complex.

    I have lived at Rock Creek for at least 4 years in total. I loved it so much, I moved out of town and came right back after a two year hiatus! The leasing staff has always been kind and welcoming and the maintenance team works so hard to keep our property and apartments their best. Even with the rising cost of rent across the board, RC has remained reasonable in pricing making it easy to call this place home 💜

    I absolutely love living in these apartments. Ive lived here off and on since 2012, moving out of town a few times for different reason. But I always come back to these apartments when back in Dallas. The staff in the office is amazing and willing to help with any issues you have. The maintenance team is like none other. I have never had to wait anywhere close to 24 hours to have an issue addressed. Its typically handled within hours if not sooner. No issues with the neighbors or anything else. And you cant beat the location for the price! Definitely recommend.

    I have been here for almost 3yrs. I moved in right before snowmagedon happened a couple yrs back. Even though there were quite a few setbacks, changing pipes, flooding and other inconveniences, they were pretty quick getting things back to normal again. I love my peaceful view of the woods and animal/bird watching. Its almost like living In another world with a jungle like view! Very quiet and lots to do in the area. Its location is not too far from almost everything you might need.

    I always see the maintenance staff around the apartments busy doing something. The maintenance staff are always professional and polite. They get the maintenance requests done in a timely manner. Leaving us always satisfied with the work. I would also like to commend the office staff on being able to politely and professionally answer the phone during office hours. Office staff is very sweet and helpful with any questions/concerns you may have. Overall, office staff and maintenance staff are considerate, polite, professional, and get things done in a timely manner. I absolutely love living here and would definitely recommend to everyone!!     Really happy with the move here. The staff has been more then helpful with any repair that we’ve asked for. They helped us move in earlier that we thought we’d be able to. Really enjoy the quietness of the property and how close it is from Addison circle. Very affordable place to live and very spacious apartment. All in all would recommend. Shout out to Miss Linda in the office she’s helped us from start to finish and then some. Oh and Deb is on it when it comes to maintenance. Really appreciate y’all! Truly!

    This is my first apartment and the bar has been set VERY high. My unit got all new carpets before I moved in. The vinyl wood tile in the kitchen, bathroom, and entry way is relatively new and modern. I live on the top floor and have massive vaulted ceiling that make me feel like I have double the amount of space.This being my first apartment I has a million and one questions and the office staff was very patient and helpful. I have had to have a few maintenance things done already but they have been taken care of in less than 48 hours.For an avid runner like myself the one entrance/exit is inconvenient. There are also no side walks which is not great. The parking is not great for guests. There is limited uncovered spaces and they fill up fast especially on the weekend. But there is nothing to be done about this. Rock Creek is one of the oldest complexes in the area and all of the land around them was bought up and turned into tiny, overpriced apartments. Having an assigned covered space makes up for some of this. But because of the lack of uncovered parking residents are inclined to call the towing company pretty quickly if someone is in their covered spot. The residents are the ones who call the towing company so having your car towed is not a reflection on the complex.I have only been here a few months but I am very much looking forward to the rest of my stay!

    Ive been at Rock Creek over 10 years. I have zero desire to go anywhere else. Service is good, service is great and the service is wonderful. They also have A1 snacks in the office. Its a treat to go pay rent.

    I have lived at Rock Creek since Sept 2017. Just swapped apartments for one of the bigger 1 bedrooms and I’m so happy I decided to stay with this community. The office staff is so great. They’re incredibly kind and friendly as soon as you walk in and have made it a point to get to know me. I have not had much experience with the maintenance staff as I have not had any issues but they always smile and wave when they drive by. And maintenance is very diligent with keeping the grounds clean and presentable. The apartments are in a great location; close to everything one would need. My only issue living here was my incredibly loud upstairs neighbor but that can and will happen anywhere - that’s apartment life.

    I recently moved into this complex from a completely different part of Texas, and I did not have very much time to make a decision on where I wanted to live when I moved here. I purchased a one-bedroom apartment here at Rock Creek because it was a great deal... affordable, in a great location, nice amenities, covered parking, and friendly staff. When I moved in, I was a bit shocked. There were many things I was unhappy with at first and wanted fixed immediately (the previous tenant was an older woman who probably did not care about these things I was concerned with, so they were never addressed). Dustin and Nancy worked diligently and more important, QUICKLY, to get every single issue I had resolved. In just a matter of 4 days, they had repainted walls, baseboards, replaced windows, and completely fixed my kitchen counter. I would highly recommend this complex to anyone. Im sure Im not the only one who believes that the staff is what can make or break the experience at an apartment complex.. but these guys are doing something right! Very happy tenant already.

    We moved in 3 days ago. The office staff, especially Nancy, was very friendly and extremely helpful. The floor plans are nice. Spacious bedrooms, closets and living rooms.One covered parking spot per apt. But the parking doesnt seem that terrible. Just make sure your visitors know to park in uncovered spaces . Neighbors are nice and quiet. Grounds are well maintained.

Tammy in the office is great and easy to work with, my maintenance requests are always completed ASAP, and the grounds are maintained daily. These are older apartments, but for the price, location, and quality of staff you really cant beat the value!

Everytime I place a request to have something fixed in my apartment, its is done within 24hrs.and after that, I always get a call from either Tammy or Nancy asking if the work was done correctly. That is what I call good customer service. The only issue I have is how thin the walls are. You can hear the able above you walk or close their closet. But the good outweighs the bad. I will recommend this place to anyone.

    I moved to Texas from Florida and its been years since Ive lived in an apartment. Ive been living here since 8/2018 and Ive had a good experience, Thank God! So far I have been truly satisfied living at Rock Creek. The office staff are super amazing!!!The apartment is located in a wonderful area. It is established in the heart of North Dallas (which was perfect for me being new to Texas).The office also goes above and beyond and host activities to help residents get to know each other and feel appreciated. Maintenance is always on top of things. Anytime Ive placed a work order in for something to be fixed theyve responded within hours. By the time I get home, the problem has already taken care of. The facility is clean and well kept. Each morning there are ground facility workers cleaning up. The only downfall I would have to say is parking for visitors.I highly recommend living here, especially if you are a person who is respectful and likes cleanliness. If you are a person who enjoys breaking the rules and disturbing your neighbors (being loud, slamming doors, having your dog poop on the lawn, parking in others parking space, etc.) I recommend looking somewhere else.

    I have lived in Rock Creek for over 5 years. I started in a smaller one bedroom and upgraded to a bigger one bedroom once that lease ended. This location is unbeatable being in the heart of North Dallas close to bars, restaurants, great employers and major highways but the price is very affordable. They take pride in maintaining the complex and keeping it clean, not only the complex grounds but also the actual apartments. Any time Ive submitted a maintenance request, it is completed in a timely manner. This is the first place Ive lived where the office staff actually know who I am when I walk in, or see me around the complex. I feel like the neighbors all watch out for each other and care about keeping our complex quiet and safe. I recommend Rock Creek any time there is someone looking for an affordable great place to live. Thank you to the staff and maintenance for taking care of us!

    I was a incoming intern in dallas, and I had many troubles of finding a nice low priced apartment for a short term lease. I met with tammy at the office and got aquatinted pretty quickly and comfortably. Before I knew it, I had a nice short term, clean apartment for a fraction of the neighboring average monthly cost. I suggest any intern to come and talk to them about moving in. Well worth it!

    I have been living in Rock Creek apartments for a while and it is by far the best apartment Ive lived at. Every morning I see maintenance in the golf cart driving around picking up trash and it is always so clean. I have had a couple issues in the apartment that maintenance​ handled almost immediately. I havent had any bug issues and for the location, square footage and price you are getting an excellent deal. You are right near all kinds of shops and food places. They are also great with pets. I have met and spoken with everyone in the front office (and some of the maintenance people) and they are by far some of the kindest and most accommodating staff I have come across. I recommend coming here and seeing for yourself if you are considering moving in. I love Rock Creek.

    The reason I have stayed here so long is because of the maintenance team. Any time I have had an issue, they are on it and get things fixed quickly.The downfall of this place is the limitations they have for management. They are not able to waive fees or be able to help out with refunds of any kind due to corporate.

    I have lived in three different apartments here. Move for jobs, school, life, etc. But each time I come back to Dallas, I always end up here. Yes, the apartments are older which is known. Yes, I wish the air conditioning kept it colder in the summer (Ive only ever had top floor so I cant speak about the lower levels). But the a/c is the same at every single old apartment Ive lived in. I come back because the views of the creek are amazing, the staff is wonderful (Deb and Tammy make this place amazing!) and its a relatively quiet apartment. For the location, you truly cant beat the price. People complain about thin walls, well it is an older complex. They have upgraded apartments, but even the ones not upgraded are still nice. Dont expect the Ritz carlton when you want to pay motel 6 prices. This is an amazing complex and I recommend it to anyone. I have lived here off and on since 2012 and the staff they have now are the best!

    Rock creek has been amazing! During the crazy snow storm they kept me updated by email every day in regards to electricity. They sent atleast 2 emails per day letting is know where they were in regards to lights and water. They provided so much water to our community! Everyone in the office is amazing and willing to listen. It was not fun for any of us and it’s not their fault no on can control nature. I am just thankful for their patience and continued communication! Thank you Rock Creek Family!

    I have lived here for almost 5 years. The people in the office are always so helpful. They do care about the people that live here. Tammy, Deb and Nancy have gone out of their way to help me every time I had questions or wanted to move into a bigger unit! The complex is quiet. It backs up to the creek (hence the name). Very close to Addison. It is a quick shot down to the Toll Way or 635. There is a grocery store within walking distance. I can’t say enough about how great the people here have been!

    I dont understand why people gave this apartment complex bad reviews. This is by far one of the best apartments I have ever lived in. The staffs are nice, its a quiet complex all day all night I dont hear anything at all other than my upstair neighbors walking around here and there. Put in maintenance request and they got things fixed the next day. I really have no complain. You can tell the apartment is a little bit older but its nowhere close to falling apart. I moved in two weeks ago and I have already decided to renew my lease when my lease is up.

Yes there have been cockroaches but they have sent the pest exterminator several times and finally got them under control.     I used to live at these apartments and started my lease with Vicky. Before I leased here, I was looking around places in North Dallas and all the other apartments didn’t help me or understand me. They were so quick to get me to lease or leave. Vicky did an amazing job by helping me and doing her best to understand my needs. She was the only person that fulfilled my needs and made me feel like I was an actual human. She did her best to help me get a place that was affordable, spacious and comfortable. I recommend all my friends and family to lease her and ask for Vicky. I’m planning on moving back to these apartments because I recently got a new job closer to here. Seeing Vicky again was a great feeling because we haven’t seen each other in more than a year. I look forward to starting another lease with Vicky and Rock Creek.     I moved here in 2015. This is the 3rd unit I have moved into. My first reason for continuing to live here is the office staff. Period.The units are as you would expect from an older (late 80s) complex, with some creaks and noise unlike the units that are new with all concrete (those units are expensive and have no southern porches or personality, IMO).The big selling factor, in addition to access to everything, is the fact that the prices stay low for what you get. Covered parking and larger units with big patios. The most recent one that I have just moved into is beautiful. It is directly over Rock Creek, and I look off of my patio to it. So much so that my roommate and I call it: As the Creek Turns. Friends, you would be amazed at how dramatic DUCKS are, LMAO. Wildlife at its best, and people as well. You get the occasional bass from someone showing up to pick up a friend, and maybe a loud neighbor, but its pretty trustworthy. In my first unit, I forgot to lock my door once. The wind blew it open in the middle of the night on a Saturday and I didnt even know, but I woke to Dallas Police doing a welfare check because my neighbor called them instead of walking in. Good mix of people. Youll see Mercedes and BMW with Ford or Nissan, big trucks and smart cars, and older cars, too, but I dont see any not cared for.Now, the office staff. All three ladies are hilarious and sweet. On my worst day, and with something I may not really want to talk about is met with knowledge and understanding. Some days, they actually make may day so much better! I feel like they know me, and appreciate me. This includes the office manager, as well as her boss. I feel more than welcomed, and I am met with more kindness than at most complexes I have been at. I feel it necessary to say that I am not advertising, its just my experience.The head of maintenance lady is ON POINTE. If you see any complaints about maintenance issues, I have to wonder what else is really going on because I have never had an issue go for more than 24 hours without being contacted because it may take ordering parts.Altogether, the staff takes care of me and treats me with incomparable respect and friendliness. I cannot pick a favorite, thus I do not put names.Any issues that I have that make me uncomfortable, my office addresses. That does not mean that I am not told no sometimes, or that I am put above (or below) another tenant, but I know that my concerns are heard and I FEEL SAFE. I am made aware of any reasons that I may not get everything that I want, but it is fair, and they make sense. The office staff is kind and considerate, the prices are more than fair, and the complex is improving exponentially every day! The colors and tile in the updated units are very modern and tasteful (plus, they offer signature wall colors), but open enough with room for your own personality to show.Good to know: the parking for your friends is less than stellar (only allowed in uncovered spaces or it will get towed), but the space and the views are worth it.I am described as being picky by my friends, and they all love my home. The difference is that I pay less than they do.Regarding anyone that is upset for being towed after parking in a covered space - even for 5 minutes - this can cause the resident that it belongs to to have to park 4 parking lots away from their own unit and walk back. You would feel differently if it were your parking space.

    I am giving Rockcreek apartments 4 stars because overall the experience living here is good. As with everything in life, yes there can be some major improvements. Living here is an ideal location to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. Youre near fabulous restaurants & entertainment , major companies and healthcare facilities. But THE best part,is being taken care of by Vicky. At one point she left the company and her presence was missed. When she returned, she brought back her bright and bubbly personality. Dont get me wrong the other staff members are good. But VICKY makes me feel like a member of her own family. She is extremely knowledgeable and caring. Keep up all of your hard work and dedication. :)

    Contrary to the two negative posts. Ive seen apartment that were much MUCH worse.Take in mind these apartment were built in the late 1970s. Hence, the apartments for the most part have one plug per wall. Many of the apartments have no lights mounted to the ceiling. About half of them have ceiling fans. Single Pane Windows(my biggest irritation). The AC unit for the units I have been in, work great. I have had 2 apartments, moved from the small one bedroom to the large one bedroom. No problems keeping the apartment at 75F. I would go colder if I set it too. Parking is sometimes and issue, the back half of the complex is short on parking because several residents have multiple cars. Each one bedroom gets ONE, reserved covered parking space.The roofs were re-shingled in 2012.The noise cancellation between apartments in the same building is nearly non-existent. I can hear when the upstairs neighbors cats are playing and running around. (to me.. this is not a big deal.. I have two medium size dogs.)There is a Tom Thumb right next door, many residents will walk over there for minor needs.Maintenance requests.. make sure you have them fill out the paperwork on it, because word of mouth doesnt always get remembered. Most of the time once I fill out a maintenance request, it is fixed that same day.Im in one of the apartments that looks out over the creek. We sometimes have issues with Opossums on the porch, but the dogs chase them off quickly enough..again.. right by the creek. I grew up outside the city, so seeing one is no surprise. Same with the Raccoons we have back there. This place isnt the best that is out there but for the price it is very good.

    A great value in the heart of Addison and North Dallas! Great management and leasing office, excellent maintenance staff, clean and landscaped grounds and amazing pricing for most floorplans. Located steps away from beautiful Winnwood Park and Trail, shopping and all major conveniences.Walking distance to bars and restaurants at The Village On The Parkway, plus easy access to Dallas Tollway, I-635 and DART bus stop is right out front. A nice pool and several laundry centers complete the package. Fitness center could use some new equipment though.The parking situation can be a hassle as there is not enough spaces for residents, not to mention visitors. You do get one carport with your lease, however if you need more than one parking space you will have issues. Aggressive towing policy means your car will be towed for out of date stickers and non-running or parts falling off and flat tires and so forth which is reasonable. Keeps the community looking good to be honest.Only one way into the property which is a narrow driveway that gets backed up with traffic leaving and entering on Belt Line Road. A second entrance on the other side of the property would be great. Units are a bit older, and could use some upgrades and modern touches, but for the price that is understandable. Outside of that, this place is phenomenal and a great deal with a location that cant be beat.Never had any safety issues or break-ins. Pest control does its job so no issues there either. Maintenance calls are completed usually within 24-72 hours. The residents are really diverse, from young professionals to small families, singles and couples, students and empty nesters. Everyone is friendly and I have never felt unsafe here. A truly wonderful place to call home. Highly recommended.

    Place is fine.Pros: Location is great. Place is quiet enough. There is an open yard in back of complex for dog-walkers or just walking. Rent is fair. Neighbors are either friendly or keep to themselves. Balconies are large. Leasing office is friendly. Hey Tammy! Electricity bill is not too high here.Cons: Buildings are old and wood is decaying in areas. Only service providers for internet/cable are Time Warner or AT&T (but you cannot get AT&T U-verse, you must get DSL); some residents have dish. Again, place is old including electrical. The flooring was poorly installed; I can feel staples underneath the Carpet and the Vinyl in my kitchen is covering a suspiciously uneven sub-floor. No ceiling lights in living room. Maintenance hasnt fixed my microwave after 2 maintenance requests (and visits) and it has been 2 months now.Overall, you get what you pay for here. I truly believe this place has a lot of value because of its location. You are next to a turf field (I have no idea who it belongs to), you have a small park near that has a nice jogging trail with awesome spots to stop and watch creek (the neighborhood nearby is upscale), you are next to a really cool bar spot, great restaurants nearby, grocery store (Tom Thumbs) is in walking distance. Walmart is not far. Youre next to Dallas North Tollway and US 75 so getting to Dallas is easy - for the most part, youre centrally located. My apartment has a view of the forested area and it is wonderful. Im happy with my stay at Rock Creek. Now if only I could get my microwave and oven fixed. I recently discovered my oven wont turn off unless I switch the breaker.

    Honestly this has been my favorite apartment I’ve ever lived in. The location is perfect and the price is super affordable for all the amenities and spacious units. The staff had been nothing but great to me even going above and beyond to help me improve my unit a mere week before I moved in. The only time I’ve ever had to call maintenance the flaw was fixed that very day and the staff, especially Ms. Tammy and Debbie have been nothing but gracious to me, I’m ready to live here for a LONG time.

If my request is not responded to that day then it is on the following day.It isnt many times the the Maintenance supervisor respondest o a request within minutes and is there to resolve the issue shortly afterward.     I have been a resident at Rock creek for 11 years,Vicky in the office is great .vicky is the only person speaks Spanish if you don’t speak English she can help you.its a good area to live and safe!
