    Galveston County Tax Appraisal Statement for 2022 was up 30% from last year. I contacted Republic Property Tax service and they responded quickly, submitting documentation, images and statements. Ive been using Republic Property Tax service for more than 10 years, every year theyve done a great job of reducing my property taxes.They are kind, friendly individuals who are helpful and patient. Republic understands the property tax laws , therefore, reducing my property taxes, which makes me happy.Best of luck,David

    Absolutely love Republic Property Tax. The staff are amazing and responsive. Ive now been using for over 4 years after having gone through the bigger services that treat you like a number as well as their employees, who are basically a call center. Republic has been wonderful and always listened to me in working for me to keep things fair with the appraisal district. They have saved me money and are now on autopilot to look out for my best interest.

    We have always had representation when it comes to property taxes and HCAD. We only recently changed to Republic and just got our first notice of an adjustment in the form of a reduction. Amanda is very professional and took the time to answer any and all questions weve had for her. She also asked us questions and prepared her case. We will continue to let her go to bat for us.     I am very impressed with Republic Property tax , they are a customer a service oriented business that makes you feel like you are Important to them. I had used a couple other companies to represent me with my many properties prior to finding Republic and I wasnt happy with their results or customer service. When I call Republic I know that I will able to speak with the same person, whom always handles my concerns / questions completely professionally .I have been a customer for 8 years now, I recommend all my friends go with Republic Tax, Dont make the same mistake I made by contracting with the other services that will disappoint you.     Last year I signed up for them to help with my new house property taxes. As usual the taxes were raised. I reached out to give them a try. They helped me get set up. I even got a discount. Their website and ease of use was outstanding compared to the last company I used. They surpassed my expectations and got my taxes lowered below the previous years value. I completely recommend them.

    I have had Republic handle my property tax for the last several years. Im not a big fan of the tax and find it very arbitrary. Most years Republic has been able to negotiate a better rate and lower my tax bill, including this year when my assessment was lower than last year. Great savings. Notifications of when they are filing and results could be better. They should list your Property Tax assessments in the correspondence.

    Years ago at another location in Houston I tried a property tax company that advertised and claimed great results. They were terrible in my opinion, accomplished nothing and had the nerve to claim their share of the Homestead exemption savings that I had requested.So, I was a reluctant buyer when Amanda called on me but I was impressed with her explanations, how she managed expectations and the process of keeping me informed. She did what she said she would do and they have been great to work with! They have been available to answer any questions I have and take the time to explain the process.I will definitely be using them again next year, we have already discussed some tactics.

    I have used Republic Property Tax to represent our Property Taxes for about 8 years. They have done a good job in making sure that our taxes are as low as possible, even though the city automatically increases them every year. I will continue using them. Their communication to clients could be a bit better though.

    I have used Republic Property Tax to represent our Property Taxes for 3 years. They have done a good job in making sure that our taxes are as low as possible. The county that I live in raises our taxes every year,although there are not changes to my residence at all. We were annexed to the city in the last year and our taxes increased again. I have recommended them to several of my friends.

    We hired Republic to represent us because statistics show that legal representation yields a much better chance of a change in the appraisal then representing yourself We are very glad we went this route and we are happy with our decision to have Republic represent us. I think, though, every property tax attorney office could do a better job of relating industry standards and practices because how they do business, as an industry, can leave consumers feeling unsure. A quick, high level overview of fees, services, communication, and file representation would be beneficial. In the end, it really is a personal gamble with respect to who you choose to represent you and we are glad we chose Republic. Not only did it yield a change of $75,000 in the appraisal value and save us over $2,000. in property taxes, they provided personal service compared to the other two firms we considered.

    I submitted my own protest to the County. When I received my notice, I was unable to attend. Republic accepted me as a client, after others denied me, as other companies had already finished their protests for that area. Republic kept me in the loop as to what was happening, and reduced my taxes more than what I was hoping for. Very professional and would highly recommend Republic Property Tax to other homeowners.

    Republic has fought HCAD on my behalf for several years now, but it was always confusing to me. And, as noted by others, their communication skills have been lacking. However, if you get Amanda Sims to help you, youll be golden. Shes very nice, highly responsive to inquiries and very knowledgeable.     I do not know anything about this company but based on the reviews I must ask, is it possible those unhappy with the results are living in areas that have appreciated so great that the city is taking the maximum caps on the raising of taxes? Hopefully with new legislation that will fix the issues. I would not be happy if I never got phone calls, reports or emails though.
