Nice, clean quiet beach and more private than if you stayed directly on North Padre Island or Port Aransas. Mustang Island is less busy. There aren’t any restaurants or stores to walk to, but it’s a quick 10 minute drive. The front desk is nice and a few hotel like amenities are provided. Make sure you have coffee on hand because there may not be any. I found cream and sugar though and a few pantry condiments left behind.The bathroom spa is amazing and fits four small people cross legged or two adults comfortably. Unless they have special handicapped bathrooms, the bathroom and shower combo jacuzzi are not suitable for people who can’t walk up three stairs to get into. Use the railing as one can easily slip.The pool area for wheelchair use accommodates riding through; however only stairs to get to the actual beach sand. I don’t see a wheelchair lift for the pool, so ask about that.The condo we stayed in, unit 108, was very nice and beachy. It sleeps up to six people. The king size bed has a firm mattress and was very comfortable for my use. Enjoy!

We stayed in 211 at the Mayan Princess and loved our stay so much, we booked an extra night. The owners were great to work with, and were flexible even with it being a holiday. The views are amazing. The kitchen was very well socked and we loved the gigantic couch lol. It was so comfy and relaxing ❤️❤️❤️

We stayed in MP505 and it was absolutely amazing. The views were the best I have ever seen, the condo was immaculate, and the owners thought of everything! The sweetest little details just added a little extra. The coffee bar in the master bedroom was awesome. I can’t say enough about this place. I wish we could have stayed longer and I definitely want to take a trip back ASAP!

Customer service was amazing great hospitality. Facility was nice and clean, Stayed on 3rd floor condo was better then advertised. The view is gorgeous especially from up stairs master bedroom. Pool area is very well kept. But why use the pool when you can put your feet in the warm sand and dive into the ocean. Beach area not crowded at all. Will definitely return

This is a great property. Very clean and decorated beautifully. We loved the beach access and pools. The unit had beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach toys and a cart to haul it all down. We will definitely come back.

We recently stayed at a property in Port A for a family vacation and had an excellent time! Courtney, with On Island Time Properties, was so helpful and responsive. The property was clean, stocked and in good repair upon our arrival. Then, when we discovered my husbands wallet had been left at the property upon our departure, Courtney helped get it located and stowed in a safe spot until she could pick it up and drop it in the mail to us. Thank you so much Courtney for helping us plan a wonderful beach vacation! We definitely plan on coming back!!

View from balconies is fabulous. The condo is well equipped with everything you need. It worked for us to have the 2 queen beds in the master rather than a sleeper sofa in the family room. Comfy couches and seating. It was decorated for Christmas which made it homey for our family gathering. I would recommend the Coastal Calm to anyone looking for a great place to stay on the beach.

Mayan Princess was great! The pool was fabulous and never super full of people. The beach was amazing and it wasn’t too far. We were in unit M117. Super cute place! Very intimate but we’re all family so it wasn’t a big deal. There was a pullout couch that enabled my older son to sleep on rather than the bunk bed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and it was super clean! We were steps away from the pool and walk way. Super easy to unload since we were on the first floor. I would definitely come back and stay!

We stayed in 307, and it was very comfortable, newer furniture and appliances, both beds were great. We liked the patio bar and stools for meals overlooking the pool and beach. The AC was cold, the condo was quiet (difficult to even hear each other upstairs/downstairs), and the blackout curtains made sleeping in possible. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Courtney was very responsive and delivered a can opener about 10 min after we asked. It made the whole weekend relaxed knowing we didn’t have any worries.

LOVED our stay at the Mayan Princess. This is our second time staying and this time we stayed at condo 505 - which was beautiful and well stocked with games, towels, chargers and the kitchen had everything we needed (all updated and very well kept). The rooms were spacious and had plenty of extra pillows and blankets and the master even had a coffee maker so you could enjoy your coffee on the master balcony. The hot tub was nice and hot on the cool days and the kids enjoyed the pools. Short walk to the beach and it feels like your own private area (not crowded at all). Short drive into port a. Cant wait for our next stay. Thank you!

Beautiful condo. Very clean. Online photos do it justice. House stayed cool even with hot temps outside. Beds were VERY comfortable. Small children even have a little play room area which is a considerate touch. TVs all worked great (no issues with wifi/internet etc.) Neighborhood area was quiet and clean. Pool was perfect for kiddos and was never crowded (had it to ourselves most of the time). Amenities were adequate and the kitchen was extremely well stocked with cookware/dishes. Only necessity items I had to run out and get was laundry detergent and hand/dish soap for kitchen sink. Close to town so easy drive and close enough to beach if you needed/wanted to walk but place to park your golf cart if needed. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again. My family had a great time. No complaints.

While the outside could look better once inside the property we were pleasantly surprised. It was clean and spacious and within walking distance of white cap beach. It was quiet at night we never heard any of our neighbors. There was access to the pool as well as a washer and dryer in the condo. Would stay again if visiting the area.

Unit 212 is in a convenient location with a great view. The furnishings are very nice and modern and not over crowded. Comfortable bed! We were not able to connect to the wifi and cell signal is not strong enough inside. Only real complaint is the door to the spacious waterfront deck is VERY difficult to open and close and has some older film on it. The atmosphere, look, and comfort of 212 is great.

The condo was impeccably clean and adorably decorated. They had all the amenities we needed, even a few things we forgot! Easy to access the room and of course the beach and pools were the highlight! I highly recommend using MEblue for a tent set-up. They set it up and take it down for you. Includes a couple of lounge chairs. Easy peasy! We will come back to Mayan Princess again for sure!

We go to Port Aransas every summer with some friends of ours. We used to stay at the Mayan Princess every year, but we had a couple of bad experiences with outdated condos and cleanliness issues. The last 3 years we stayed in VRBO homes in the area, instead of the condo. The homes tend to be much nicer and better cared for. This year (2022) I was unable to find a home that suited us, so we decided to try the Mayan Princess again. We stayed in the newly remodeled RM 505. It was absolutely impeccable!!! We have stayed at this condo MANY times over the last 15-20 years. RM 505 is hands down the best one we have ever stayed in. It was spotless, and beautifully decorated. Beautiful lighting, really comfortable beds, couches and chairs. Gorgeous bathrooms, heavy quality doors on all the bedrooms and shower. I loved the coffee bar in the master suite, that was a brilliant idea. And did I say it was spotless?? Whoever remodeled this place did a fantastic job. We have always encountered some coastal roaches anywhere we stay in Port Aransas, it just comes with the territory but NOT this year, not a single bug or spec of dirt anywhere. I can not say enough positive things about this condo room. We were all blown away with how nice it was, and will definitely stay here again. I know this is a new listing and that is partially why it was so clean. I sure hope future guests respect the work that went into making RM 505 beautiful, and help keep it that way.

We had a fabulous stay at MP218! We’ve been staying in Port Aransas for 20+ years as a family and were so disappointed after Harvey that properties just seemed to have gone downhill and were not properly repaired or only halfway repaired. We took a gamble never having stayed at The Mayan Princess. BUT the Mayan Princess was phenomenal. They went all out to bring the property back to life after Harvey. We loved it! The property was clean, completely updated and obviously meticulously maintained. The check in desk staff and the maintenance crew were so friendly and helpful upon arrival and with questions throughout. We truly enjoyed our time here and will absolutely be back! They have designated smoking areas so you aren’t flooded with cigarette smoke at the pool or on balconies. Also - for any other moms on the hunt - MP218 has a master bath shower big enough for a pack n play and toddler blow up bed and it’s blissfully dark! The pool area was great for small children, too.

Great experience and stay.. this is our 3rd year to stay at Mayan Princess and it has never disappointed.. I love the less crowded beach and the 3 pools! The kids loved the ping pong table and we had daily tournaments.. one suggestion would be when you enter the pool area the steps do not have a rail to grasp on to.. without a railing it might be difficult for some to climb the steps without assistance..and a rail could potentially eliminate unwanted descents to the ground..otherwise awesome stay, we will be back.. !!

We’ve stayed at Mayan Princess twice. I’m rating it 5 star not because everything was perfect, but because with the obstacles of hurricanes and constant activity with continual upkeep we think they’ve done a fantastic job maintaining the facility and keeping the standard The facility is clean and well maintained. My wife and I love how family oriented it is. The location is safe and only a short drive away from restaurants, stores and other attractions. With a full kitchen we like having the ability to have what we want right there. We had a couple of issues our first visit that were corrected immediately after reporting them. Having the pool and hot tub at our convenience and with a short walk we are at the beach make this location perfect for us.We definitely recommend Mayan Princess. The right rooms offer amazing views. Unfortunately I waited to long to book this year for a room with a view. We will be back.

We had such a great time! We stayed in 111 and it was perfect for what we needed. Very close to the beach and steps away from the pool. Only thing that didn’t work well was the backdoor didn’t shut completely (letting the hot air in) but is a VERY small complaint compared to how great of a visit we had. We will be back :)

Our stay at the Myan Princess, condo #213 was amazing! Even though the resort is a little older, built in 1986, it is kept very clean, and it has a feel of a Mexican resort getaway! The condo was decorated so nicely, the view from our balcony was perfect, the staff was very friendly, and the beach was VERY easy to either access by the private boardwalk from the resort or by the beach access road, which was literally 2 minutes down the road. For only $12 parking pass that is good for one year, we had options to either walk to our beach or drive and park our vehicle at our beach spot. It was SO EASY! The beach was powder white sands and CLEAN! They were constantly being maintained! It was an AWESOME stay!!! My wife and I will be making this a consistent “go to” vacation spot!!!

We stayed in the Mayan Princess room 316 and it was absolutely perfect! Clear view straight to the beach on both floors! Couldnt ask for more!
