We have had Lochow manage our 2-1/2 acre lake for over 2 years now. Good communication. They keep the fish feeder full and otter traps checked. They have helped remove at least 6 otters over the time we have had them manage the lake. We are satisfied with their services. Our bass are growing.

For the past 5+ years, our family has engaged Lochow Ranch to manage the ponds at our ranch outside of Paige, Texas. The scope of their services at our ranch includes the periodic stocking and monitoring the fish population of our ponds; the installation and maintenance of aeration systems and fountain equipment that serve to improve the oxygen content of the water and enhance the aesthetic beauty of the ponds; chemically managing the water quality to mitigate algae and undesirable vegetation build-up, especially in the hot summer months; implementing measures to deter or eliminate the presence of predatory species, such as river otters and cormorants that would otherwise feed on and deplete the fish population; to maintaining and stocking the equipment that feed the fish population (we dont have any skinny fish in our ponds).And theyre good people to work with. We have found Lochow to be a very resourceful, responsive, and professional firm -- they know what they are doing and do things well. Communication is superb. On those occasions we have a question or need, theyre quick to respond, not with just a possible answer or a suggestion but with meaningful recommendations and follow-through action. As a result, the fishing experience at our ranch far exceeds what it would otherwise be without the input of their expertise and performance of their services. We highly recommend this firm for professional pond and lake management services.

I’m a board member of a small neighborhood HOA who, with limited funds, is charged with overseeing the maintenance our lakes and ponds. Our primary focus is aesthetics, controlling aquatic vegetation with a secondary focus on having a viable and productive fishing lake. Some four years ago we parted ways with our lake management company at that time as their approach was extremely frustrating, expensive and highly ineffective. We were nearing swamp status.It was then, 2021 that we partnered with Lochow Ranch as our provider. Admittedly, it was a bit of a “rocky start” initially as they inherited quite the mess and their work product was under the constant scrutiny of a community microscope. Utilizing continual communication, persistent proven protocols combined with a dose of patience on our part, after a few, dare I say “short” months, conditions began to dramatically improve, thereafter becoming the norm.Each year/season brings about new challenges and these guys are up to the task in every way; from the effectiveness of controlling undesirable vegetative growth, to unfettered access of Matt their fisheries biologist, communication in scheduling, attentiveness of our account manager Brian and perhaps most importantly, the experienced can-do spirit of their “boots on the ground” field staff who check in and communicate upon each monthly visit.Needless to say we are beyond pleased with our ongoing partnership as the folks at Lochow Ranch routinely deliver on our expectations enabling our water amenities to remain the desirable focal point of our community.

These guys have been servicing our lake for most of 14/15 years & have done an awesome job especially in the last 6 years or so as we’ve been on a limited budget. They are all very knowledgeable, personable, & hard working. We had a very real problem with vegetation that we tried to manage it on our own but it had gotten out of control & they have done great with that. Whether it’s surveys, feeders, analysis, or whatever these guys are capable & respectful to our needs & try their best to make it cost effective. Have been working with Lochow and our rep Brian Sides since 2021 in an effort to take an unmanaged farm pond to one of trophy bass status. Lochow offers a turn key approach which I favored, in-depth reports, and excellent communication by email ,texts ,and phone. They take the time to really explain the science behind their approach and answer all questions I ask. That was fantastic to watch the wide-mouthed bass being delivered. It was 26 degrees and your guys were devoted to their job. Mathew waited for the delivery quite a while due to the weather. Benson, the fish truck driver was great too. They both educated me on acclimating the fish to correct water temperature. They showed me how they tranquilized the fish and then proceeded to carry at least 10 buckets of fish to the water, for a total of 200 fish. They were polite, proud of their job, and FREEZING. These guys deserve a raise. Sorry to say, it was too late and dark for great photos. Still a great experience. You need to film the transition of fish and put on your website. Again, thank you for all of your help.

Lochow Ranch helps assist the Pebble Creek Owners Association with pond management for two common area ponds in the Pebble Creek neighborhood, and weve had a wonderful experience with the entire team. They keep our office up to date on all visits, check with us regularly for any concerns we might have, and the appearance of the ponds has greatly improved since contracting with Lochow.
