Outstanding property management.Im a tenant and have had a great experience with Zac Backus, who was professional and gave attention to detail. Over the course of a few years Ive had issues in my house with doors, dishwashers, and plumbing. Each time Location was able to have someone out the same day I reported the issue- even around the holidays. Location was good about having the repair team text and communicate with me their approx. arrival time.I will say that if you have issues that need attention- calling is much faster than using their online portal for reporting issues.

We have had a great experience with Location Rentals. Dustin is our property manager and he has always returned our calls or texts the same day or no later than the next day. He has always been honest and upfront with our questions and has actually come to the property to help if a repair person can’t make it within a day or two. Good, good company.

I helped my dad while choosing to re-locate to Lubbock. All Location Rental properties were easily accessible and easy to maneuver for a senior citizen. He had an excellent experience with all things! Upon his death Buzzy Gresham was my contact. I cannot give enough praise to this man with his professionalism, kindness, efficiency…all things needed. This company takes care of their renters with compassion. I will recommend Location Rentals to anyone and everyone!! These are the types of experiences that small towns can brag about.

If you want bed bugs this is the company for you! Will go out of their way to protect a owner with bed bugs and give the bed bugs to new properties! A great place to get a pest from!For the owner: I have twice. I have been available since 12/21/24 to discuss this. I have been in active contact for yall as per my end of the lease and I know you are doing your end. The bare minimum, but your end. I also noticed you deleted some of my maintenance calls on your website. Thats okay I have screen shots about them!The pests were coming from another unit that you all left open to the homeless population for a week. The proof of being left open like that was sent to you so Im comfused why yall are holding me accountable for the bed bugs and trying to change me for reporting them. If you failed to properly inspect I dont see how that holds me accountable. But I have proof it was open longer than a week and of all the furniture you let them leave outside for 6 weeks. Im sure the bugs are coming from the other units that grabbed the furniture out of the dumpster and brought it back on to the property, but you knew that too. I dont appreciate you bringing realtors to a location you know to have bed bugs, on three different occasions without treating the property. I contacted the city for codes violations but if you are willing to expose the city of Lubbock, that is YOUR buisness. I just thought your customers would like to know how you handle your business.The broker i spoke to three weeks ago and again, when I made this post, was unwilling to work me about the issues on the property. I would like to discuss how they will reimburse me for the furniture they ruined. But since Ive been trying to get a mutual lease termination due to the fact that two separate tenants were stalking me since Ive moved in last October and they did nothing to help me i thought discussion would be a moot point. This was brought to my property manager in November and your brokers attention last month. You were unwilling to help me in anyway. What would you be trying to discuss with me now?

Dustin is always attentive and reaches out to me by the day of my issue or next day. He is always clear about how things work and if there are any issues they are handled very quickly. It has been such a great experience with Location Rentals. If I was to ever move I would look at the location rentals before anything else. They work months ahead to find the perfect tenants so that we have a contract signed when the other one ends. We started to have a few plumbing issues almost as soon as we moved in. Rachel contacted us in 5 minutes or less. Meagan and Rachel were out to the house to assess the issue personally, and the plumber was out that day or the next. We had no doorbell, and the shop lights were not working when we moved in. The contractor was out to the house within 2 weeks. They placed us a wireless doorbell, and replaced the shoplights with spotlights. We were also having issues with the central heat/air. Both Meagan and Rachel were at the house within an hour, and helped us by educating us with the thermostat. The refrigerator would not keep our food as cold as needed. Food in the freezer were no longer frozen. We had a new refrigerator within a few days.I can’t say more about these two ladies, and in the manner they represent Location Rentals. Also, I want to brag on the landlord. She obviously had pride in her property. Out all of the landlords we have had, this property owner is much respected by us. We are extremely happy and impressed living in this home! Would like to make an addendum to the first part of this post. There were issues when we moved in, and also noted within 4-5 weeks. This may make you doubt the post. I want to make something clear. This home was a new home for her portfolio, therefore she was not aware of any issues, but was professionally prepared to need to make repairs, due to this home not being leased by her before. This home was also new to the portfolio for Location Rentals. But, as the landlord, they were professionally prepared to make sure any new issues were taken care of quickly, or immediately at times. Please consider Location Rentals as your property managers, do your best to find a home represented by Rachel and Meagan! You will have no regrets!

Ryan at Location Rentals was very helpful, kind, and worked extremely hard to help me get the property that I wanted to rent. Because I was not in Lubbock to physically view the property, he went above and beyond to fulfill the sight-unseen policy by not only giving me videos touring the property, but also FaceTimed me to show me specific aspects that I had questions about at, both at two separate time periods. A weekend after virtually viewing the property, I submitted my application and was approved within four days with a notice given by another kind employee named Makayla. Location Rentals has been nothing but great for us. We came from a previous property management company where we had a horrible experience and I wish we would’ve found Location Rentals sooner. Dre helped me find a house and the move in process was so easy, she was always available for questions or any kind of help I needed. Their maintenance requests are completed in a timely manner. Our AC went out on a Saturday and it was fixed in a matter of hours. With our OLD property company, it was out for 5 days in 100+ degree heat before someone came out. I cannot say good enough things about this company, I am so happy we made the switch.

We moved from DFW to Lubbock, found a realtor whom found us a beautiful house to rent from Location Rentals, we extended our lease an extra 2 years! We had no issues with renting from them in 3 years! We never had any maintenance issues. When we first started our lease we did not have Buzzy as our manager. But once he took over our lease, things went even smoother. He reached out often and always made sure we had what we needed, his communication was awesome, and he made sure we didn’t need anything. We had not rented a home in a while but were between home purchases. Location Rentals was our management company for about 6 months and were the best management team my husband and I had ever had. Another company took over for 6 months after and not only wouldnt return calls but never answered one of the maintenance tickets. They were terrible. Location Rentals took back over the property for the 3 months before we made our home purchase and were again fantastic and responsive fixing everything the previous company ignored. Would definitely lease from them if needed again. We had Justin Backus both times and he was so professional and responsive.

Mike the property manager helped my family get into a nice home and helped me establish excellent rental history. Maintence requests on all major issues or emergent issues were fixed immediately the same day. The only negative thing is that we hired a cleaning crew that specialized in move out make ready and we even shampooed and clean the carpets in all rooms. We were still charged $300 from our deposit for professional carpet cleaning. Overall they are great people and they are a good business.

My boyfriend and I have been living in a property for about four months now and all the experiences have been great with the staff. Any maintenance requests have been handled extremely quickly. Last night(Friday) I came home to the hot water heater leaking and within 15-20 minutes they had someone here getting it drained so it wouldn’t cause damage and now within twelve hours later they already have a new hot water heater getting installed. When we moved in we had some issues to get fixed and they were fixed same day. No rental company is perfect but it’s clear that this place tries to do right by their renters.

We were moving to Lubbock from Tennessee, and having difficulty finding a place to rent due to my husband recently having started his own business. Not only were they willing to help me find solutions to prove our income, they were always responsive and timely. I worked with Alicia, and she was incredibly dedicated to helping us find a place that would work with our three kids. Then I worked with Pam on my approval process, she was great to help me through it from so far away. I called multiple places and believe it or not they were one of the only one who have office staff who answered the phones and returned phone calls.They are super customer oriented. We were approved and have been renting here for two months now. They have gone above and beyond to fix things when they werent quite right upon move in, even small things I didnt report! So far weve had a stellar experience here. I would recommend their office to anyone looking to rent. If they are even half as good with people looking for a management company, and I cant imagine they wouldnt be, then Id recommend them as a management office too!

I love renting from Location Rentals. They have prompt maintenance and always provide appropriate repairs. Recently, my washer flooded my house. Locations rentals addressed the problem as soon as possible. They brought in professional teams to dry out my house to prevent mold and to fix the washer. They were easy to communicate with and very kind and helpful throughout the process. Overall, I am satisfied this company and would recommend them to anyone.Update - I moved out recently and the move out process was so easy and they were flexible. Just got my deposit back from them. All I can say is that Armand went above and beyond to help me out after I had already moved out and paid my last month’s rent. I can’t say enough how much I appreciate his help. Armand and everyone at the front desk were extremely kind and professional.I also really enjoyed the gentleman who we first interacted with when we rented, but I cannot recall his name (maybe Zach).Lastly, I cannot say how impressed I was with the timeliness of the maintenance repairs. It seemed like every maintenance request was addressed and fixed almost immediately. I don’t think we had to wait more than an hour or two for anything during normal business hours.Honestly, this place was overall a tremendous experience.Thanks Armand!!

My landlord Tyler was awesome! Very professional and willing to work with us and our 3 dogs which isn’t normal in Lubbock. Incredibly responsive to get someone out to fix anything that was wrong with the house. Probably one of the best relay experiences I have had this coming from a navy guy who has rented 8 different houses in the last 10 years. Would highly recommend location rentals and Tyler specifically. We also got our deposit back within a week. Couldn’t be happier!

I have been a rental property owner around Lubbock for a while and am continuing to add to my portfolio every single year, even though I live 7 hours away. The ONLY way that it works is to have a rock star property manager. That’s what Dana and Location Rentals are…Rock Star Property Managers. I don’t ever worry about my investments or the tenants (college students…and as a parent of a college student I know what it feels like to be on the other side of the tenant/landlord situation…and I understand how precious those tenants are to their Moms and Dads) because I know Dana is on top of everything. Also, her experience in that market is unparalleled. Before I purchase a new property I call Dana and ask her opinion. Almost every time she knows the property intimately (she’s probably rented every single unit in that entire neighborhood at one point or another in her decades-long career and can recall the pros/cons from memory) and gives me excellent and honest advice. You certainly can lease through other property managers (as either an owner or tenant) but why would you? Just go with the best from the jump! Your life will be so much easier!

Tyler is our property manager and we could not be happier. Especially after having awful experiences with other rental companies in Lubbock. Location rentals and more specifically Tyler is very attentive, professional, and quick. Whenever a problem arises it’s a no hesitation quick fix and usually gets done in a day. My roommates and I have been really happy with the way the home we rented was given to us during move in, and the service they provide.

My property manager at Location Rentals is Dana Brown. Dana is awesome. What I like most is that she does what she says. No drama, no stories. She takes care of my interests, but she also takes care of the tenants interests. I have literally had her tell me that before she would charge the tenant for something that she would pay for it herself because she thought I was being unreasonable in trying to charge the tenant.I would highly recommend Dana (and her team) to manage your property, or to live in a property she manages.

Two things to know if you rent from them.1) Ask for the move out check sheet.When we took over the property, it was not even close to being clean. We had been looking for a place for a bit with no real luck. Everywhere we called they were not very helpful if we asked if they had anything matching our criteria. All they would do is refer us to their website. When we called here and left a message we promptly received a call back, within five minutes in the evening time. Mariah left a message as I had not picked up and left me her personal cell phone number. We asked about a property they had listed. Unfortunately it had already been rented but she offered to help us find another one. We gave her our criteria and she right away started making some great suggestions in the same area. Later that evening she text us a couple of more and we agreed to go look the next day (Saturday) at the ones we liked. They were all great properties and we took a day to think about which one we liked. Mariah made the entire process painless and she was incredibly helpful. She was not only professional but down to earth and encouraged us to text with any questions which we did. She was never rude or annoyed when we text at sometimes later evening hours due to our work schedule with questions on filling out the application and later on the lease. I have felt that she has always had our interest from the very beginning. This is the first property person/real estate agent that I have ever worked with that has impressed me with their genuine down to earth personality. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. If you are a looking for a place call here and ask for Mariahs help.

From contacting an agent, going through Westmark, and moving into Location Rentals they have been 100% and amazing the entire time. They are fast, they keep you in the loop, they send me emails, letters, texts, and calls to make sure anything that I have worried about or complained about (never them) or put in as a work order is taken care of immediately, swiftly, and with high importance. They are extremely easy to access through the portal they provide. My bills load there, a have access to a PDF of my lease, I can put in a work order (which unless its close to 5pm has ALWAYS been done same day), and I can pay for everything through the app-no money order which is my fav. I have never worked with a company that cared so much for its customers, especially a property rental company. This is the Chick-fil-A of places to rent from.Love. Them.
