Very nice & decent ! No Laundry machines in the premises but overall good place to live as the staff is nice. The maintenance requests are immediately addressed. Especially Mr.Waldo has been very helpful to timely fix any maintenance problems. Office staff members (Sarahi, Aliza, Andrea, Jenn & team) have been very helpful and organizing events to entertain the residents & families. Know that these apartments are older construction, but in good demand as it falls under good school district zipcode. Pest-control aspect needs extra attention and whole complex need premises-wide outdoors pest control, More trees and bushes can be planted. This could compensate for the old look of the complex. The Gym has been renovated and has new equipment, however,I & most neighbours are surprised with the absurd corporate decision by WestDale company about removing the laundry machines from the premises entirely to be replaced by bicycle racks. Essential amenities are more important than luxury. This lack of laundry causes a lot of logistics issues for washing clothes. Maybe this is an idea about the corporate to start charging rental fees for washing machines to residents, However causing such inconvenience is a very much flawed long-term strategy. I hope there is at least one laundry (public/resident) unit in the premises soon. I would say overall considering the price apartment is a good dwelling place.Thanks - Sata U.

After a month of living at Jefferson place I wanted to share my experiences.The front office, especially Sarahi and Saul were super helpful and responsive during my initial contact with the office and throughout my move-in process. Anytime I had a concern or a question they were quick with an answer and a solution.My experience with maintenance has been the same. Quick to respond, friendly, and took care of the requests professionally.I live on a top floor and the A/C wasnt working properly when I moved in which during the heat wave can be very problematic, but as soon as I put a request in, I had good experiences getting the A/C fixed. Ive read a few other reviews mentioning the A/C, but I just communicated with the staff and the issue was resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Ive also not had any issues with bugs.The location of these apartments is fantastic. Highways and freeways all within 5-10 mins so you can get around quickly. Very centrally located. Whole Foods is very close along with Kroger and Target. Theres tons of restaurants close by too. Plus a park within walking distance.Overall Im very happy I decided to move to Jefferson Place. I have nothing but good things to say and the staff truly wants to make sure your experience here is great.

I have been a resident at Jefferson Place since it was built in April 1991-yes 30 years. I have obviously been very happy here or I would not have stayed here this long. I have never had any pest control issues in all 30 years of living here. The staff has always been attentive to my needs and I can sometimes be a very demanding person. The current staff headed up by Michelle Robles (manager) and Yvonne Comacho (asst. Manager) have always been willing and able to solve any issues that I have. Sarahi and Jennifer have also been very willing to help me. Any maintenance requests have been promptly solved by Miguel and Waldo. Very great property overall.

I actually enjoyed this apartment complex. I stayed here three months over the Summer for an internship. The unit was recently remodeled from what I could tell. Everything worked well, and I felt safe while I lived there. I liked the community in general too. The unit was very clean and modern.There are a lot of kids out and about every afternoon, after school lets out, but that seemed fine - not issues with loudness really, or kids running into parked cars or something. Everyone was very respectful.There were a few issues, but Im not sure if this is a Dallas issue - there are a lot of roaches around. I didnt ever see one in my apartment, but theyre everywhere outside at dusk, and dawn.

I’ve lived in these apartments for 2 years so I want to give an in-depth review of my experience here. For those of you with a short attention span here’s the main summary: Good apartments, great neighborhood, the staff/maintenance is responsive and easy to get ahold of if any issues arise. I believe they’re slightly expensive considering some of the amenities surrounding apartments have for the same price however due to the location I feel like it’s a fair trade off.I’ve lived in two different units in this complex and spoken with residents who have lived here far longer. What you should know is that some of the units are a bit older and some were built a little bit later. My first unit I kept having issues with the AC, being on the top floor I assume there was just more heat rising in the apartment so my unit was generally pretty warm and I constantly had to have the AC on which went out probably two or three times within a year (however maintenance was quick to come out same day when I advised them of this).These are APARTMENTS so you’re going to hear your neighbors through the walls, I was originally on the 4th floor and got noise complaints from my dogs and I walking around in the unit so I transferred to a first floor. Now I hear the person above me but as long as you have that expectation you should be fine, not sure why it’s shocking to people that you hear your neighbors when you literally share walls...lolThe complex is generally filled with lots of families. I always see families and their kids walking around the complex and kids playing so if you’re a family this would be a great environment for you, I definitely feel safe in these apartments you don’t really see strange or suspicious people around and Las Colinas is a great neighborhood to begin with, especially being so close to shopping, the Toyota Music factory, etc.I’ve had great communication with the office staff anytime an issue came up. They’ve been responsive, patient, and they get to know you so you feel welcome.My message to the staff: One of the amenities that would make these apartments more appealing to some renters would be a “bark park” or some kind of reserved area for that. There are potty stations throughout (which I appreciate!) however it would be nice for those of us with dogs to have a small grassy area we could let the pets run around in since several complexes surrounding offer this it’s enticing for those of us with pets.To future residents: When selecting your apartment I would be mindful of the location in the complex you select. The buildings parallel to MacArthur Blvd. get quite a bit of road noise which wasn’t an issue when I was more towards the middle of the complex. I personally don’t like being near pools since there’s a level of noise that comes with that as well, but there’s several great locations in the complex where you won’t have any real sound issues since it’s a generally peaceful complex.Final notes: Not sure why I see so many reviews talking about pest issues. I haven’t had any pest issues in my two years and they have pest control that comes out to spray.

Ive been living here for two and a half years now with at least another year to come. Ive experienced several problems with the office staff and apartment, which were aggravating at the time. Some were caused by their own incompetence such as having me stop by to sign the same form three different times. However, the new office staff is MUCH better and friendly. They are always super busy, so I try and cut them some slack. Also, Ive not had many problems over the past year. Things seem to be improving.My apartment is due to be updated after I move out, one of the last with older appliances, but they all work well. When my overhead microwave quit working, maintenance replaced it promptly with a new, black unit to match the color of the future appliance upgrades. Maintenance is always very prompt and helpful; unfortunately, they average coming to my apartment every two to three months. Ive given up on the screen patio door, which will not stay attached, and the water issues are real and annoying. I average in that same two to three month span at least one bottle of Drain-O for my bathroom drain, which clogs now with simply running water.Covered parking costs extra and tenants are cheap here, so parking is a concern if you arrive home late unless you pay the extra cost. Valet trash is extra as well and mandatory of tenants, even though I dont care for the company used and refuse to use their services. Basically, Jefferson steals $360 yearly from me to pay for unused, required services. Still, others enjoy this service and dont live next to the dumpster as I do.The apartments, for what they are, are way overpriced! I got mine at a discounted rate during a move-in special. I would advise this, if you can wait. They are charging comparable prices for this Las Colinas area, but their amenities are not comparable, so look out for deals.Mostly Indians with families and other young professionals live here.Office is open daily even during holiday weekends, with only major holidays being observed. This is very convenient for the tenant on the move. We cant all take off work to go handle apartment business.Conveniently located between two major highways and right off MacArthur for easy access to shopping and dining as well as all the tech companies of Irving and the airport. Only 6 minutes to I-35 as well and 4 minutes to downtown Irving.Non-gated with only two access points by car. Its inconvenient that we cannot enter off Love Drive, but that side is fenced. The entire complex, in fact, is fenced in and separated from the complex behind it except for the car entry points.Ive never had any inkling of unsafe feelings here. I know that there have been domestic incidents where the people knew one another, but Ive not heard of break ins from strangers or assaults from strangers, etc. Overall, this is a very safe area.

These are great apartments in a great area. They are a bit older and that brings some issues, but the maintenance and office staff are always friendly and quick to respond to such issues. I have loved my time here and will always recommend it to others. Pet friendly community with lots of awesome restaurants close by.

Ive been a resident for almost two years and will say that I am blown away at the level of customer service the Assistant Manager, Anderson Larios has provided. He truly goes above and beyond to address any concerns or maintenance issues Ive ever had and his response time is unbelievably prompt. I wouldnt expect this level of dedication witin an apartment property, but he truly goes the extra mile and it is absolutely refreshing. I am not an easy tenant as I will drive you nuts until my issue is resolved, but Anderson has been FANTASTIC! All apartments will have some type of issues, but what matters is how the staff treats you and handles it. I am so incredibly pleased that I made the decision to move here despite any negative reviews I read. I guess eveyrones experience is truly different!

Great location. Gym is well equipped. You can pay your rent online with no additional fees. Only complaint I would have is that the office is usually very occupied and you may need to wait a little to get service. But at least the staff is friendly

I’ve lived at Jefferson Place for 3 years and stayed at 2 different apartments. I’m surprised by the reviews regarding pest control issues but I have never encountered any pests. The maintenance and staff are kind and attentive. Hope my stay at Jefferson place continues to be a good one.

Jefferson place is one of the great place to live. Myself and my husband staying in this community for 2years and our experience was awesome. The shops and restaurant are near by. Good staff service. The gym and pool are always clean and neat. Great management.

I Just singed 4th year lease extension. This is very nice apartment, great staff and very quick maintenance team and great community. The conduct nice fun activities for residents. The apartment office girls Especially Sarahi is very patient , kind and curtious and helpful in residents answering question or taking care when there is issue and updates you back very regularly. The other two girls jennifer and jenny are also very great. Maintenance team is great especially waldo he is awesome

My wife and I came to visit the property a Year for apartment shopping. We were helped by a leasing Agent by the name Anderson Larios that we’re extremeky nice and passion to show us our options and answers all of our questions. We decided that we will be moving to the property after a year from our first visit. Mr. Larios were extremely knowledgeable and passion to answers my follow up question in the course of a year until we moved in November 2018. The property overall is well managed and maintained in regular and we are fully informed by correspondence email from the Assistant manager. Anderson about all the development and regulations and offering assistance when needed. We certainly appreciate the sense of urgency and courtesy exhibited by Mr. Larios and we certainly recommend Jefferson place for friend and family.
