Lived on this property for 2 years. Didn’t have any issues living here. It’s close to almost everything you need; cafe creme, fast food restaurants, gas stations, Starbucks …Noelia was super nice handling all the documents start to finish and provides a clear understanding of everything. Good place to call home.

Honest review after living here for almost a year now: Truly, moving to Hillside has been a blessing. The community welcomed me with open arms after the contract for my initial apartment fell through last minute. Here is what I have enjoyed:-Maintenance is fast and reliable and management has been transparent and willing to help.-You can tell that the people working here care so much about the community as they take care to keep the property clean (any trash left behind by residents in the parking lot are swept away by the next morning) and safe (security patrols on weekends).-There are two laundry rooms on-site that are kept clean and in working condition all year long.-The apartment didn’t lose power during the freeze.-Located near a variety of shops and easy to get onto the highway.Overall I’ve enjoyed living here and current management under Noelia is amazing! For the price, the location, and the community it really is a gem of a find!Addressing some things I’ve seen in the reviews:- Management explained to me that the gates are currently being worked on, so there are times where they have been opened all day, but even then Ive never had any problems with theft or the unhoused community. It really speaks volumes that in the entire year I’ve lived here, no packages of mine have been stolen even when it’s been sitting on my porch for 4+ hours.- There was a time where 1-3 vehicles were vandalized in the same night, but management has since upped security patrols and I haven’t seen it happen since.- I haven’t had any pests issues, although it’s inevitable that you will be dealing with the odd one here and there as no apartment is full proof against those pesky bugs.- There is a frequent tenant turnover, but most of them are families trying to get by and mainly keep to themselves. Many of them are really quite pleasant to talk to actually.- I haven’t seen a lot of parties, but regardless maintenance is pretty good at cleaning up after residence in the parking lot the next day, and investing in a good pair of ear plugs will help with any bothersome city noise.- Yes, the AC in the bathroom blasts whenever the light is turned on, I think it’s a structural thing. It’s not too much of a bother for me personally, but if you don’t feel like dealing with the noise, you can set up a small lamp to use instead.

I was looking for an apartment for my son and this property is very nice. I didn’t get to rent there unfortunately because he moved back to Dallas but I wanted to review it anyway, so others are aware. First off, we were looking for a one bedroom. The layout was good and the apartment itself was updated and very spacious. No washer and dryer but the balcony and the privacy made up for that and my son is young enough to walk downstairs. The gorgeous pool is so clean and humongous. For the price point it’s like you’re living in a little secret gem of a property. I wanted so badly to jump in as I saw people just relaxing on a hot summer day. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. I was touring a property and there was a tenant needing some help. The maintenance person was fast and friendly taking care of the tenant as the leasing agent helped me tour. She was extremely informative and answered all of my questions. She even followed up with me afterwards. You can tell that all the staff genuinely like their jobs and have good relationships as they each talk about each other in a respectful manner. One more thing you ain’t seen a balcony till you have seen the size of these. For the price and the location, (did I mention it’s 2mins from 35) you can’t beat these. I will certainly keep them in mind for the future and highly recommend them. They have a lot of amenities I didn’t even list. Just go check them out. You won’t be disappointed.

The new management at Hillside Creek Apartments is amazing!! They have implemented so many positive changes and are working towards getting the community to come together by hosting various events. They are kind, considerate, and you can tell that they really care about their residents. This is a stark change from the management that was here before. Now, my work requests get solved promptly, the laundry room has been fixed, and they are working on fixing the front gate. I have always thought of Hillside Creek as a little gem because the apartments are cute, affordable and at a great location. Now they have good management with Noelia as the manager as a cherry on top.

Staff is responsive to all requests, and the maintenance manager and office calls to ensure requests were completed to tenants standard.Noelia is so kind and patient even when I call for everything, she listens, responds, and follows through till the end. The landscaping is beautiful around the whole property. The tenants are so nice we all go out to the beautiful resort style pool, hang out, cook, listen to music. This place is definitely a hidden gem.

Great value for money! Location is fantastic. Yes, e. Oltorf is still in transition but itll get better. The apartments are all redone. Also insulation is good so we barely hear any neighbors. Staff is great and service requests are followed up quickly. The new management company is doing a great job! So ignore the bad reviews from the past Id say. Im a happy resident with my wife and daughter!

(2014-present)Hillside Creek is very close to downtown and the rent price is pretty good. The area around Hillside Creek is a bit shady, but after a few months of living here, I still feel I made the right choice, If you are looking for a quiet place to live, check this place out. The pool is nice and there is a car port for every car, some apartment buildings will charge extra for that, but Hillside Creek, it is free as it should be.The office staff are nice and always helpful, part of the reason why I have not moved. My neighbors are surprising quiet and there are lots of trees here. Hillside Creek apartments are getting old and it starting to show, for example, the ceiling has that popcorn texture, but not as bad as you may think. Many other apartment buildings area have strict rules when it comes to having personnel property on the balcony, not here. You are free to make it feel at home, however, that also comes with a price, some peoples idea of home is not always clean, other than that, I like it here. Just wish the rent was not so high, but that is everywhere.I heard Google Fiber will be coming here soon, I hope that is true. Will report again when that comes true.

Hillside Creek has been amazing! I had a rough move in due to no ones fault just luck of the draw but the staff was SO helpful and made sure everything they could do, they did. The apartment is beautiful to say the least and priced well. I enjoy the sun room that is basically like a bonus room to my one bedroom apartment. I have never had any bugs of any kind in my apartment so Id say the pest control I pay for is working. Also, maintenence is ON IT. If you have an issue they get to it quickly and without hassle, a simple online request or phone call to the office and youre good to go.There isnt anything negative I can say for this place. The staff is always super helpful and they throw a decent amount of parties or little coffee and donut days. Very happy with Hillside Creek, Im sure you will be too!Also, new pool going in and gated community right near EVERYTHING.

Hillside Creek has been an amazing place to live. The complex is conveniently located in central Austin and is in short distance from iconic Austin landmarks like South Congress and Ladybird Lake. Rent is affordable. The staff is friendly, polite, attentive and prompt. Things get taken care of quickly and efficiently. It’s a great place to live!

I recently moved here and I love it here! I like that once your inside, your sheltered from the city and its quiet and peaceful. The pool is great and theres a grill there too! Theres a dog park out back for your furry friend! Ive only known the new management (so some of the old complaints may be irrelevant) and they are great! They are responsive and any issues Ive had, weve been able to resolve them. We looked at a lot of places and Im glad we chose here!

I had a great experience with these apartments! When I first got the apartment they were really helpful in the front office everyone was super friendly. Everything in my apartment stays up to par if I need something done or fixed there always on time. I’ve been here a year and 4 months it’s great I highly recommend moving you and your family into this lovely community!

I just signed a lease for 8 months and hope to live there for a least two years. Kirsten Fessler is the assistant property manager and she helped me through the whole process and was helpful, funny and nice. She found a unit that fit all of my requirements (except a laundry connection in my unit, but they have machines on site so I dont mind) The whole staff seems wonderful. They have a dog park!!!!!! Free covered parking!!!! Big, beautiful, refurbished apartments in a great area of town. I highly recommend check it out.Ill be updating this review as time goes by. 7-26-2016

I currently live at Hillside and love many features about this complex. The staff are very friendly and helpful even when you see them after hours. Repairs which I needed only one in over a year, was completed that day and they called to ensure everything was working properly. The grounds are always cleaned up and modifications are being made to the pool and gym which I am so excited about. I am notified of community happenings and events at HSC, when packages arrive, about lost or found pets, water outages, apartment, and fire extinguisher checks via email. I found this complex by accident and am blessed to be a member of the Hillside Creek Community. It is centrally located, close to entertainment, and by the river. It is a nice quiet complex, and has a laundry facility on site. Thanks for being awesome! Moca

Loved this community! So many perks! The location is great JUST MINUTES from 6th. It’s gated and feels safe. The floor plan choices are vast and spacious. Shawna is a great representative for this community! She did a great job of showing me the community and off of its great features!

This is the absolute best place I’ve ever resided at, moved in a few months ago and I can’t tell you a better place you’d want to live in Austin, located minutes away from the airport and down what more could you ask for, besides the wonderful amenities onsite like an amazing amenities to have guest over to swim and barbecue!! A definite recommend oh almost forgot the management and maintenance crew are superb!!!

Absolutely love the location! It’s only 10 minutes away from downtown Austin and Zilker Park. The staff is super friendly, helpful and follow all safety precautions for COVID. Andrea was a delight to work with! She had a smile the entire time she was helping me! Definitely the place to live!

UPDATE: The Property Manager, Ellyn, has been very responsive to our requests and is actively working to resolve. Also, shout-out to Elsie, in the office, as she has always been super helpful.UPDATE: Under new management again! So far, so good, although we have never had any major issues or complaints. To be honest, our biggest frustration is that the main gate is ALWAYS broken. I understand that or stays open during business hours to accommodate delivery drivers, however the gate stays open all night long. Not only is this a security issue, but now it has become a safety issue, as we have seen several cars passing through the gate at a high rate of speed. The gate on the other side of the property is always closed, and never seems to be broken. We have seen no attempts to get the gate repaired...its all very frustrating and disappointing.UPDATE: Things at Hillside Creek continue to improve. Management and maintenance are always quick to respond. The Property Manager, Noelia, has always been very helpful and continues to be. She is responsive always happy to help in resolving any problems. The office staff is very friendly and make you feel welcome upon entering.Hillside Creek has struggled through several management changes, which has greatly affected the community and the residents. However, with the most recent change, it seems like things are improving. The Property Manager, Noelia, is incredibly helpful and always available to answer questions and assist in resolving any issues. I am hopeful that everything will continue to improve.
