Giving 5 stars to Manny our maintenance man. First off let me start off with how patient and kind he is. I took my son to school and dropped my phone between my seat and he was calling me. When I reached the house he was patiently waiting. He was such a pleasure when he was assisting with our light issue and provided a lot knowledge during his time at our home. He quickly got our light fixture fixed in our kitchen and also assisted with showing us how to find and release the bulb under the microwave. Manny was definitely an awesome guy and hopefully he will be here for any other issues we have. Thank you so much Manny!

Juan my technician was super helpful in resolving matter of having no air due to ac unit not properly working and missing a part. Juan was able to get the matter fixed in addition to explaining what the issue was. He additionally provided information on tips for keeping the home cool. Juan was the MOST EFFICIENT technician I have had in the last three years of my occupancy. I will request Juan for any maintenance moving forward.

Juan was absolutely amazing. He did a wonderful job fixing the faucet in the tub and was able to reset the water heater which was causing noises whenever the tub drained. He also demonstrated quality customer service by walking the property with me to show the water and gas shut off valves and provided best practices of the property’s upkeep. Thanks Juan!

I am really sorry but the day since I moved in the lawn is in a very bad shape full of weed and no grass at all, home owner’s association has send me multiple violation notices because the previous tenant never took care of the lawn and company never fixed it before my move in I am spending 100 of dollars every month,the company is totally ignorant on this instead charged me for me first 150 dollars for the violation and then 45 dollars.Tye sprinklers were not working when I moved in and when requested to fix it they say it is resident responsibility how it is resident responsible for the non working sprinklers and the landscaping when it was not in a proper shape.Please send some one to bring grass and fix this issue.A continuous headache every month because of the old tenant and the company not taking care of the lawn I send so many emails no response.Every month I get tortured by A letter that there is a violation. I did my all techniques hired a professional company to deal with weed. Now they have sprayed a herbicide all the weed got dried now again I am tortured that the lawn is dried how I can grow lawn in 10 days.And the company is sleeping instead sending me violation fines. Please who ever lease a house please do check and act accordingly.These are the pictures before my move in which is posted by the person who uploaded before move in inspection.Now how I can hire a person to fix this. Instead every month I a getting a mental torture .I hope some one from the company is going to take care of this.Thanks

Its all still new to me. I have not ever had to navigate renting a home this way. It has been an okay experience. It is difficult to talk to someone on the phone. Email is the form of communication, which is not my preferred method. However, James Marmol and Cecilio have made things easier. They have been great. Cecilio is 5 stars all the way!

I have been a resident with FrstKey homes for one year so far and it has been a really easy and Good experience so far.They give you options to Pay Rent if you ever encounter financial hardship.I had maintenance request for my refrigerator and my dishwasher. Both were old and outdated and was having problems, they replaced it and got me a brand new one for both.There was a situation where I needed help and only the local office assist me and Connie was very helpful and responded and such a quick timely manner.I have seen so many scary reviews about this company, but my personal experience for my home in Richmond, Texas has been a great one.

Ac went out while we were sleeping and we didn’t notice till we were walking out of the house for work. The heat index was 104 today and when we got home it was 90 degrees in the house. Ruben came to help us out and within a hour he had our ac back up and running. Sooo thankful, we had just recently spent a week with no ac because of the hurricane and doing it again would have made me lose my mind. He was awesome!We also had someone come for our lock box that was still on our door since we moved in (June) and now it is December. He was having trouble getting it off but Manny D. got it off! He was super awesome!

Manny was terrific. Kind, professional, efficient. He actually looked into the problem with our dishwasher (unlike some repair companies/people we’ve had to deal with throughout our life, lol), he took the time to troubleshoot but was still prompt and timely. He explained everything to me, which I appreciated. Didn’t make me feel nervous with it just being me and my daughter at home (and yes that matters, 🙂). All in all, we have a resolution for our dishwasher and I was happy with his service.

We just moved in and had a number of things that needed to be fixed. Jessica worked with us to coordinate everything and get everything scheduled and to get the right people here to look at the problems. The technician (I don’t remember his name, I think the email said Santiago) showed up, took pictures, and left to get supplies. He came back and had all our issues fixed or ordered (from appliances to electrical issues, even installed a new ceiling fan) in less than an hour. Very helpful and respectful, very good at his work, went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that we were comfortable in our home.

We had issues with our AC unit being undersized, which was bad for the summer we moved in. While First Key Homes sent multiple visits for technicians to verify that was the case, they held their end of the bargain and upsized our unit to a correct size! We had Patrick and Sonny come over to perform this whole install and they were done within a short period! They made an amazingly clean install as well! They insulated the condenser lines and cleaned up our AC closet while at it too!Patrick and Sonny were also the technicians who verified we had an undersized unit immediately after troubleshooting! They went above and beyond taking care of us and our situation. They left us with a temporary portable AC unit to get us through the summer heat and until the unit was replaced! When the unit couldn’t get below 83 degrees during the hot summer heat, it is now reaching the low 70s! Patrick and Sonny were super understanding and very respectful as well throughout the whole process! They helped us make sure that the unit was above the normal performance so we could deal with brutal summer heat! I could not recommend the First Key Homes Maintenance Team enough! They worked very hard to make sure we were taken care of. First Key Homes residential also made sure to us updated and filled us in on details! Our property manager Erica Cabrera also came in to help speed the process up, so we are very grateful to First Key Homes Residential for going above and beyond as well! I am very much excited to stay as a resident with First Key Homes as well! Our family couldn’t be any more happy and pleased with how First Key Homes (Residential and Maintenance teams!) handles their work!

I have had an amazing experience.. This company allowed me to change homes before my lease started on the other home as I had found out that the yard was far too small for my dogs. They did not charge me anything and did it the next day for me! I would like to particularly thank Mary Salinas and Tosha Jordan for helping me. It was hard for me to talk to someone yesterday, but once I was able to get to the right person, then we were all set! Wonderful company and looking forward to renting with them. This will actually be my second time! Thank you! I am moving to San Antonio for a full time teaching position with Alamo Colleges, so I needed a rental home!

After Hurricane Beryl, part of our fence in our backyard fell down and our washing machine stopped working due to an outlet issue. Within two weeks, FirstKey Homes sent someone out to fix both of them. Mr. J.C. Manny has been to my home on several occasions for maintenance issues. He is always determined to get the job done. He takes his time and works well. Manny came twice for a plumbing issue with the kitchen sink, dishwasher, and washer in the garage. On the first visit it was late in the evening and he needed more time so we rescheduled and he came early to cut the wall open in the garage and found the issue. Manny took a couple hours to fix the problem but we tested things out and the dishwasher is no longer flooding water out, the kitchen sink is not overflowing, and we can now use the washer for laundry which was the biggest problem for me. Thanks Manny.
