I have lived here for a month now and it has been a very pleasant experience. The apartments themselves are newly renovated, equipped with nice gray wooden floors and new appliances including a microwave, oven, fridge, and dishwasher. The appliances are nicer here than in many other apartment complexes with rent ~$500 more per month. The location is amazing. It is within walking distance to multiple grocery/drug stores, restaurants, gyms, ect. All of the sidewalks in the area are clean, safe and well-kept. It is also only a 5 minute drive from the hospitals and downtown Tyler area. It is located off Troup Hwy and near Loop 323 so there is often some road noise, but for the most part it is relatively quiet. The office manager, Kristi has been very nice to work with. She is kind, patient and extremely helpful with any concerns during the move-in process and renting.The facilities are nice. The laundry room is always decently clean, with the only downside being the expense of the washer and dryers (I pay about $7 a week so it could be worse). The apartment gym is nice and quaint. It is ideal for cardio sessions on the treadmill, eliptical, or peloton-like bikes; but there are also some free weights and two resistance machines. Overall, I have had a great experience so far living at Cypress flats. It has been ideal for me in terms of location, price, appliances, and more. I highly recommend living here.

I am relocating to the area from IL and had the pleasure of working with Kristi. She was/is extremely pleasant to work with. Originally I had to call and leave a voicemail because I was having some online issues with my application, Krisiti called me and legit stayed on the phone with me and walked me through the entire process! Again I will be new the area and I asked her about schools and she even said she would help me look! She has been nothing short of amazing and this process has been so smooth. I am so excited to move and get settled. I will definitely be recommending Cypress and Kristi.

During the initial process, I dealt with Monique. She was awesome. She made making the decision to move here very easy. Once I moved in, I started interacting a lot with Megan. In my close to 40 years of apartment living, I have never come across anyone that was as wonderful as Megan. Ive had to deal with a number of issues since moving in. Megan (and Monique) are always available to help me. If I am told that something would be done (both what would be done and when), thats how it happened. Every phone call, text and email has been answered in a very timely manner. If either promised a specific action (like a follow up call), it happened. Not once have I had to make more than one call to have any issues addressed. It is also fantastic to be greeted every time I walk into the office with big, warm smiles.The wonderful service is just as apparent in the Maintenance area. Fernando & Keith do great work. Nothing that they have done for me has ever had to be redone! They care about the residents. They check back days or weeks later to make sure that there are not any issues.

If living here is anything like my experience with just talking to Meghan this is going to be my best apartment to date. Hands down - she was so incredibly informative and gave me exactly the details I needed and even the things I forgot to ask about. She was even writing things down that I was about to ask her for. I haven’t had any problems with this complex. The mgmt team has been polite and Fernando the maintenance man has been extremely helpful. Quiet, not too much noise except on Friday and Saturday nights from the adjacent road, Troup hwy but other than that quaint place!
