My recent 5-day stay at the San Luis Resort on Galveston Island was nothing short of spectacular. We had the pleasure of staying in one of the owners condos rented through Vacasa, situated on the 10th floor, providing breathtaking views of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.From the moment we stepped into the condo, we were impressed by its beach-themed motif and tasteful decorations. The ambiance was inviting and immediately put us in vacation mode. The amenities provided were exceptional, including a hot tub, steam room, swimming pool, and a selection of on-site restaurants offering delicious dining options.Safety and security were top priorities at this location, offering peace of mind to guests. The propertys attention to detail and the range of services provided catered to even the most discerning vacationers. Additionally, the presence of clothing shops added a touch of convenience and luxury to our stay.

Great location and view minus the patio with the bird poopThe location is amazing. You can walk across the street to the beach and walmart is a 3 minute drive and you are close to restaurants with a quick drive. The apartment is huge with great space. The only negative was the patio with no furniture and the birds have taken over and there is poop all over and they are trying to build nests. The The other balconies dont have this problem so i know the client is not taking care of the balcony efficiently. Dont believe the pictures..no furniture on the patio

Relax, kick off your shoes & enjoy.Convenience to the beach and fishing, relaxing stay, comfortable beds, nice kitchen stocked with pots, pans and dishes, not perfect but i enjoyed my stay. Enjoyed our jun 11th 2024 enjoyed our 19th wedding anniversary at condo 147, would recommend to friends it was reasonable priced and access to everything i needed. We stayed 3 days could have stayed a week it was enjoyable overall a few small issues nothing of major concern no regrets.

The house was beautiful and very clean. We absolutely loved the house, the accommodations, and the area. It’s only 15 minutes away from the beach, which is well worth the drive considering it’s way cheaper renting this house than places closer to the beach.

Beautiful home with ample space for 2 families totaling 8 people. We enjoyed our time in this beautiful home. The bedrooms were big with ensuite bathrooms which were so convenient. The living room was big enough to enjoy watching together. The kitchen could use some updated cookware. The beach was close by to walk to it. We enjoyed eating at restaurants near by.

This house was close enough to the beach with a nice walk in the nice weather we had. The house was just as pictured so it was up to the expectation. Vacasa was quick to respond on questions/request we had during our stay. We had no major issues while on our stay. I would bring baking pans should you plan to bake something in the oven. They had plenty of pots to cook with but no baking pans for things like cinnamon rolls for breakfast. We enjoyed our stay completely. Beds for comfy for all.

Spiritual revivalThe ocean view is incredible!! We enjoyed sitting out on the balconies with our coffee and just being in awe of gods creation. There was plenty of space for 11 of us. The Pink Lady by The Sea will not disappoint you. Its a great getaway, a place to revive your spirit. Its a hop, skip and jump away from the ocean.

Cute, convenient condo near north padre island shore!We were in north padre island for a family reunion over the thanksgiving holiday. We stayed 3 nights in this condo and it was so clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, plates, glasses and all of the utensils you could want. Both beds were extremely comfortable and the bathrooms well equipped. The living area was plenty big for all 6 people with a large sectional sleeper sofa, comfy chair and bench for extra seating. The living room and both bedrooms have their own tvs. Remember, this unit is on the 3rd floor so do not book if you have any one who cant handle 3 flights of stairs. We are all fit so had no issues and the 3rd floor balcony has a view of the beach. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful island condo!Had a great time on the island for a long weekend beach trip! Really enjoyed this beautiful condo! It’s very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. We had all we needed in terms of kitchen amenities and towels. The pool area is a beautiful little oasis. There’s plenty of covered tables and lounge chairs and 2 bbq grills. The condo patio offers nice seating to have your morning coffee or after a day at the beach. I would recommend this beautiful condo to anyone looking to enjoy a vacation on the island.

Wedding weekend in GalvestonWe traveled to Galveston for a wedding with two other couples (3 couples in our group). This condo (Diamond Beach Crown Jewel #714) was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable with gorgeous views. The lazy river on the property was an added bonus! If we travel back to Galveston I wouldn’t hesitate booking this property again!!

Loved this cute condo!We had a great time staying in this condo. It was the perfect size for the 4 of us (myself, my 2 daughters and my 6 year old grandson). We really enjoyed the pool every day and the unit is right next to the pool gate. The location is good a well as it is close to the beach and near a lot of shops and restaurants. We will definitely be staying here again.

WHAT NOT TO LOVEDe Galvez home in Galveston, TexasThis house turns into a home the second you open the door. Two car secured garage that opens the door into an amazing courtyard that is extremely secured for your pets & children. The side yard is perfect for pets. Childrens room equipped with plenty of sleeping beds with their own full bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with an amazing out of the way microwave and the kitchen island huge to have family & friends gather around. Variety of cool sitting areas throughout the kitchen, dining & living room. Upstairs, the king suite is pure awesomeness with a spacious bathroom w its own cool tub & separate open shower. King room has access to a very cool colorful balcony w rocking chairs & a beautiful view of the lighted boardwalk & the sounds of the beach. Also, down the decor hallway, two queen size rooms w a shared jack & jill spacious bathroom. There is plenty of room everywhere. This home is beautiful & close walking distance to all kinds of fun entertainment & great restaurants. A must stay & enjoy vacation home.P.S.Butchers pantry is superb!!

Last minute family getaway:I recently booked a last minute quick family getaway at Oceanscape. The price, amenities, location, and condo were all on point. I wasn’t quite sure what to expect but am happy to say I overpacked and the condo came with enough amenities that I could have saved time and left half of what I brought at home. The condo was clean, well equipped and strategically placed far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Galveston allowing private beaches and relaxing days, but close enough to run in for dinner, shopping or activities. The Vacasa team was attentive to our inquiries and I am super happy with our stay. I will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

Diamond Beach Resort is an amazing place to visit. I did not see on their webpage about this, but, they furnish float tubes with handles, for the pools and lazy river so you dont have to bring them unless you want your own. Diamond Beach #714 is an AMAZING condo. Picture on website shows bunkbeds in the kids room but was actually 2 twin beds and no kid decor. This was fine by us since we didnt have kids. But, had we known, we would have added another guest. We had all adults and the other person that almost joined us did not like the idea of sleeping on a top bunk. Loved the fact that each bedroom had their own bathroom and the bunk bed room had a bathroom two steps from the room.

Had a wonderful vacation at Seaside Paradise...great floor plan....our grown children had three bedrooms and a living area upstairs and we had a master suite downstairs with living area and kitchen area where the entire family could meet for activities and meals...It was great to have privacy for all. The Perfect Weekend Get AwayThe townhomes were a perfect fit for our family of 27 with some sleep room to spare. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed staying in the house. It had all the conveniences of home. The teens enjoyed the pool, the hot tub was relaxing and I just can’t say enough that it was a great time had by all—fishing, enjoying the beach , and relaxing at the townhomes.

This place had all the things you needed and was at the perfect location. Right across the street from the beach, short distance from every where we went such as Moody Gardens, the Rainforest Café, Marios Italian place. The house has a fantastic location!!!!The house and its inventory are in good condition! The inventory is adequately designed! The sofa set could do with replacing it! It is understandable that cockroaches occur in properties that are rarely inhabited in this climate, but with this frequency? Something should definitely be done about it! But this topic has already been addressed in the past! For this reason and another point (below), I cannot recommend this house to my friends here in Europe and especially to my German friends! The most annoying thing about our fourth beach house stay (2011, 2013, 2015 and now) in Galveston (Terramar Beach, Kahala, Beach) is the cooperation and the way VACASA deals with house renters like us! We pointed out several times by text and email that the house could not be locked with the code we received from VACASA. Only after 4 days and numerous text/emails and the fourth notice that we accept no liability for illegal break-ins, theft or vandalism was an employee from Galveston activated, who then helped us with a SHORT-TERM CODE and who also determined that the CODE given to us by VACASA did not work!!!!!!! This situation in the first four days took a lot of the joy out of our vacation. For our next stay in Galveston we will look for a house that is not managed by VACASA. It is incomprehensible that VACASA has not learned anything from the reviews of house renters in the past! After all, the cooperation with VACASA has already been criticized several times! Good unit\horrible serviceI love this property, however, there are better units to stay in. The unit was fine, beds a little hard, but dealing with the agents was horrible. It’s so much easier working with individual owners than a company like Vacasa. I have no complaints on the unit, just the customer service and response time. They offered early checkout two days before checkout. First off, who knows if they need late checkout that many days in advance??? We had just arrived!! On the morning of our checkout a really bad storm hit so we decided to use our late checkout option but we’re very rudely told that option had expired and if we weren’t out by 10:00am we would be locked out! Which again, made no sense bc how could we be locked out if we were inside the unit??? Anyway, I guess some companies just have strange policies and rude employees, so in my opinion, the property is amazing but we will definitely go back to the other units we have stayed in that are owned by individuals. Btw, we left the unit spotless even after the rude interactions.

Very nice, little rental in a great location, Palm Beach. Very close to the state park and not too far from Galveston proper. It was an easy 10 minute drive to get to the restaurants and other attractions in Galveston. Only one block from the beach. I would rent it again.

Wonderful time at the beachThis pet-friendly first floor unit was great! Furnishings were welcoming and comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of the units location in the complex and the parking spot outside the buildings main entrance and near the units patio. Though located right off Whitecap Blvd, we did not hear a lot of road noise inside. Easy walk to Whitecap Beach or the Boathouse Bar & Grill. We enjoyed the pool and spa at the complex as well. Highly recommend this rental!

Family beach tripHome is great to accommodate a family, especially if you are traveling with children/teenagers. The 2 bedrooms upstairs are perfect for kids and our family enjoyed the game room with the xbox, however the bathroom upstairs is small and shower is better for shorter people or kids! The security system and secured private backyard area for our vehicle was appreciated and a bonus for sure. All the beds were comfortable and bedrooms had plenty of space, really impressed with the cleanliness and well stocked kitchen. Truly appreciated the extra boogie boards, hygiene items and plenty of towels!! Great space to enjoy quality family time and an easy walk to the beach, and short drive to the strand! Also huge perk, AC works amazing on 1st floor!!

Fantastic getawayThe home is beautiful. Neighborhood quiet. Pool was amazing. Very nice distance to beach access. However, the owner was the very best part! The power to the neighborhood went out shortly after we arrived. He found out and sent a neighbor to give us his number to call him. He drove an hour to us to bring and connect a generator for the home. When power was restored, he contacted us the next day to make sure we were doing ok. He didn’t have to go out of his way like that, but he chose to go the extra mile and it means the world! I highly recommend this home. On another note, bring mosquito spray and don’t leave any doors cracked because the mosquitos are ginormous and will eat you alive by swarms!!!

Fun with familyThe condo was great we would use it again! The decor was beautiful, very thoughtful furniture, lots of seating and drawers/shelves in all side tables to accommodate all stuff! Location superb both within the complex and whitecap beach generally. Easy walk to the beach, quick (under 3 min) drive to beach. Close to the national seashore (15 min). A/c worked well, pool was fun, we used covered picnic table for dinner one night (shrimp boil). Watched the olympics on tv. Played family games in living room, no big table but lots of seating!

Great house !Loved the house. Great view of the ocean, very easy walk to the secluded (almost private) beach. Really enjoyed the house and our stay. Only negative was a lot of mosquitoes in the grassy area around the building, but this is obviously not controlled by the homeowner (and may have been a temporary situation caused by the recent alberto storm?).

The home/location matched exactly what was posted on the website. The house was spacious and plenty of amenities for the family. The walk to the beach side is approximately 3-5 minutes. The area was not packed and was perfect for those quiet/private family memories. The house easily receives a five-star; however, the cleanliness downgraded this property to a four-star. Although check-in was at 4:00 pm, we could not check into the property until 6:30 pm because of the cleaning crew arriving late to clean the property. I would stay here again even after the cleanliness mishap :)

I recently stayed at a vacation rental in Galveston managed by Vacasa. I typically do NOT like property management companies- they’re impersonal, neglectful and greedy-but my experience with Vacasa was different. I have rented many vacation rentals I. Galveston and this was only the second time that it was headache free. Communication was clear, quick and precise. Check in was super easy. And the place was immaculate!! I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in a place so clean. Furnishings were in good condition and they blended well together- didn’t look like someone went to Goodwill and just got what was available. The place even smelled clean. I could not have been happier with their product. Don’t know how long it will last but I would recommend renting a place under their management anytime.

Nice!We really enjoyed our stay here! The property was very clean and provided all the necessities (i.E., kitchen supplies, bed linens, towels, etc.) they even provided board games and beach toys. The condo is conveniently located right on the sea wall with a beautiful view of the ocean and just a short drive away from the pleasure pier, restaurants, and all the other fun and entertaining things that galveston has to offer.

Would highly recommend the Diamond Beach Resort in Galveston. It’s such a nice quiet location with great views and endless beach walking. Our Vacasa unit was very spacious and nicely decorated. The king mattress had a nice topper and we slept great every night. The staff and the Vacas chat bot were excellent! This was a great time to visit ( before spring breakers) . Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed at Pointe west several times before and this condo was just as great as the others! I love the location. It’s about 20 miles from the town center so the beach isn’t crowded, but still close enough if you want to go out to eat or shop. The view from the balcony is beautiful with a clear view to the Gulf.

This isn’t my first time in the properties at Jamaica Beach Nor will it be the last. This particular property needs a few maintenance issues addressed (thus the lower rating). Otherwise it is exactly what we wanted. Quiet location, fantastic sunrises, and very comfortable. The local convenience store makes it really great for those things that were forgotten or overlooked.

This vacation retreat had everything we needed. Comfort and security with a world of recreational activities at short reach. Fishing was fun, and productive. Golf was close but unfortunately we did not allow enough vacation time for it. Touring the Lexington WWII aircraft carrier is awesome. All of the decorations of the home have been carefully selected to be consistent with the Sunshine Shores theme. The kitchen is fully equipped with all we needed for meal preparation. Excellent eating establishments were closeby.Our stay was in January and February. The temperatures were quite warm compared to those at home in Kansas and I wore shorts in the daytime at least 2/3 of the time.

Cute houseThe house is perfect for a two couple vacay. It was clean, and we didn’t notice any bugs like other reviewers. We did stay in the off season though so that might affect some of the issues that other vacationers had. Overall it was a pleasant stay :)

We loved this house, everything on the website was absolutely correct. The location is perfect, four blocks to the beach and several restaurants. We cooked several meals, the appliances are top of the line and the house was well stocked. Honestly we couldn’t have asked for a better house, for four adults it was perfect.

This is a great property for a galveston vacationSpacious home that was close to the beach and not far from galveston proper. Kitchen was the most equipped ive ever experienced in a rental. Also, had chairs, umbrellas and toys for the beach.Clean and bright with numerous decks made our galveston visit better than we expected.

The home was great - very clean, beds were very comfortable. It was furnished nicely and had everything we needed. Had an issue with the smoke alarm going off but vacasa had their local rep , hector, come out right away to take care of. I definitely will want to stay here again.

The perfect location!I really enjoyed my stay at oceanview by the galvez. It truly was just across the street from the galvez. Sometimes i like to stay at a hotel that has a downstairs bar. I had the best of both worlds, the space and convenience of a vrbo and and a great hotel bar 2 minutes away. Who could ask for more? The condo was exceptionally clean. It is well appointed....Nice flooring, great kitchen with beautiful cabinets & stainless appliances and a deck with an ocean view. Its only 1/2 block to the beach. I relaxed hearing the waves when sitting in the living room and on the deck. There is also free street parking right out the front door. I would like to stay here again next christmas!

Beautiful, spacious home on the bayThe recently remodeled home was perfect for our girls getaway. Six bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms gave everyone plenty of privacy and the open kitchen/living area gave us plenty of space to visit, eat, play games, etc. We loved it!

We stayed at a vacation property in Galveston right on Seawall Blvd. Property was clean, had many amenities and location was amazing. Customer service was excellent. Definitely a good company to rent from!

Galveston women’s retreat:Our group of church ladies absolutely loved our stay at this house. We had lots of room and loved the table for eating breakfast. We will definitely come back again and recommend this place!

Great house literally right on the beach! 20 steps to beach from where you park under the front deck of the house! Love this house! This was our 2nd time to stay here! Only thing I wish it had would be an elevator! Other than that it has everything!

Very spaciousIt was a nice unit only thing is there’s no access to the garage so i had to unload all my things instead of keeping them in the back of the cab it would’ve been nice not having to do that extra work. Also the window of the microwave was broken so we didn’t get to use that but they have a lot of pots and pans for you to use. Over all great experience. Thanks!

We loved our rental. It was nicely decorated, clean, comfortable and had a relaxing vibe. Walking distance to the beach and had everything you need...for cooking and eating. It was also quite...which was great.

We love Vacasa! My family and I stayed in a waterfront airbnb and loved it. The houses were beautiful. They were clean and had all the amenities we needed. The property was located at The Reserves at St. Charles Bay in Rockport, Texas. Such a beautiful little town and hidden gem. We loved the beaches, the fishing and the quaint and beautiful town. Definitely recommend booking through Vacasa!

Our trip was perfect, starting with the stay in the rental, everything was perfect, the house was very nice, clean and very well furnished, every time I have rented in houses on the beach there is a problem with toilet paper, paper napkins and towels and In this one that was not a problem, everything is plenty, the kitchen equipped with everything. Just a suggestion if the garage could be enabled to park it would be perfect, but since this can be solved without any type of problem, the very good and quiet pool was just for us because I think that in the 4 days of stay we did not see any neighbor. Without a doubt, when I return to Corpus Christi I will look for this same place and if it is available I will rent it again. Thank you for your great hospitality. Grateful. Mariuska greets you.
