    Dont hesitate to use Bell Properties for your housing needs! On the busiest day of the year for them, they provided top tier customer service to me and my family. Diane, an expert in real estate, is simply fabulous and will do everything in her power to make sure you are happy. Shes knowledgeable, kind and amazing to work with!! Also, Christine in leasing is such a a joy and truly cares about her tenants and their wants and needs.

    I originally rated Bell Properties a 1-Star and that was because they took over my lease and I did not receive the full balance for my deposit and didn’t receive communication from them. However after reaching out they had difficulty with the old owner of the property I was leasing and the lack of communication from the old owner made it hard for Bell Properties to give an accurate response. After some back and forth Christine was able to help me get my deposit back fairly easy, I’ve never seen a property management company put that much care into a client even one they had for a few months. These guys actually rock and I was mistaken to direct my frustration towards them.

    We rented a property for about a year under Bell Properties management. I could not have asked for a better rental experience. The prosses of applying to rent was easy and straight forward, even if you were not sure of what to do Bell properties was easy to contact and get clarification. All work and maintenance request where promptly taken care of. There were some minor issues when we first moved into the property, but all problems were taken care of within a week of move in after the request where submitted. The staff is quick to respond to emails and phone calls. They are also good at answering any questions you may have or finding the correct answer in a timely manner. Any time that I went in person to the office I was always treated with exceptional customer service. The website for making payments and maintenance request is simple and easy to use. It makes any official transaction or request a breeze. We also had pets in the house, and we had no issue with keeping them on the property. After we moved out, they were quick and more than fair in returning our security deposit to us. I can confirm that they do check the sheet you fill out when you move in because it saved us from losing part of our deposit. If you read your contract and pet agreement and follow what is stated, you should have no issues renting from Bell Propeties. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to lease in the Brayan/College Station area.

    I have had a great experience working with Bell Properties. I bought a house in College Station that Bell Properties listed for a rental property. The experience during the buying process was positive. The best decision I made was to put the house under a management contract with Bell. They handle everything for me. They are professional and responsive. Gretchen has been a joy to work with since the beginning. She is positive, responsive, knowledgeable and has great communication skills.She almost always answers the phone or calls back within minutes. I feel that she handles any issue with my best interest in mind.Gretchen is such a great asset for Bell Properties and me.

    I recently purchased 2 investment properties in the College Station area. I worked with Diane Ellis both times and she will be my go to agent for all future investments. Fantastic to work with, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Always responded to my inquires even on weekends, great work ethic. Did great homework for me, held numerous face-time walk-throughs, was very transparent in her opinions of properties, never tried to sell me something she would not buy and completed earned my trust. My second purchase almost turned into a legal mess with the other side due to some shenanigans they were playing (too long for this review,) and Diane took them to task and did not let give them an inch and held their feet to the fire until they did was right!! Honestly I cannot say enough about her. Work with her, you will not be disappointed.

    Bell Properties was very difficult to communicate with both at the being and end of our lease with them. They failed to email the lease agreement out to all of the tenants so that we could sign it. It took almost a month and half of me emailing them, informing them of the problem and even giving them suggestion of how to fix it before I was called about the problem, which I will add took two phone calls to fix. Every time I emailed them I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy but this issue was important. When we moved into the house one of the two doors was completely sealed shut and did not work. The door was not fixed until near the end of the lease when we decided not to resign the lease. During the last month of our lease we were emailed by Bell Properties asserting that we had not paid rent because they had not received it yet and asking for proof that we had paid rent. I immediately responded with a picture of the receipt for the transaction that displayed the amount and date we paid rent which was paid on time and did not get a response. Two weeks later we received another emailing again asserting that we had still not paid rent because they had not received it yet, that the late fee was now $320 and that we need to pay or submit proof of payment within a week. I responded with two paragraphs describing how we always pay, and the punctuality of our payments, our flexibility of them changing the account numbers on us multiple times, explanations of what could have happened and solutions from the bank about how to remedy the situation. Not ten minutes after I had sent the second email, did I receive a response saying thank you so much. There was no explanation for why they emailed a second time, there was not apology for the mistake on their part. They fail to communicate effectively, they do not read their email responses. They fail to take responsibility for their actions. This is not a business I enjoyed dealing with at all, they do not run it in an honorable manner and have left me with a bad impression. On another note their initial handling of our personal information when applying for the lease was appalling, so much that we turned our application in to the actual owner at the time, instead of an insecure metal box with no lock on the porch of a rundown building like we were instructed to do. I would not recommend dealing with them unless you are purely buying a house.

    Currently working with Bell Properties on the sale of my home and the purchasing of my new home. They have been so wonderful and helpful, the knowledge and work that has been put into this has been amazing they will stop at nothing to make sure that we are comfortable and truly happy with the purchase of our new property, and the listing price of our home. They have made sure to check and triple check the comps when it comes to the listing price of our home and have been up super early hitting the phones to be on the phone with the realtors for the properties we have wanted information on. They have gone out of their way with excellent service and time. I have nothing but fabulous things to say about them and the attention to detail they have showed. They truly care about our happiness and understand this isnt something to take lightly. Will go back to them in the future for our real estate needs.

    I cant say enough good things about the owner of this company. We have had a lot going on in our personal lives recently, and somehow a lease renewal was overlooked and we missed the notifications. My husband and I were extremely frustrated and gutted when we felt like we were not welcome to renew, but Maurey immediately got on the phone and called us to straighten everything out. She was so friendly and helpful, and I can not thank her enough. She DOES care about her tenants and is a very down to earth person. I felt like we were immediately taken care of, and the situation was rectified within minutes. This is a small owned company, and she takes care of her tenants like family. I appreciate everything, and apologize for jumping the gun when we were frustrated. I hope that we can lease with this company for a while, whether in this home or in another when we outgrow the two bedroom. Thank you, Maurey!

    I have had a working and rental relationship with Bell Properties going on 4 years now. I have 3 principles I live and work by. Trust, Character & Integrity. I have a working relationship with Bell Properties because I firmly believe they stand pat with the same principles. I would love to share experiences from both perspectives. As far as working, I started self contracting for the property management about 4 years ago and I have a continued working relationship with the company, most importantly, because they allow us, as contractors, to make the repairs needed. When we go look at a property that has a maintenance issue, we observe the issue and are continually given approval to make the repair that would best serve the home. They dont just want temporary patches made or fixes made to get by untill something breaks again. Bell Properties wants the properties they manage to be more than just livable for anyone & everyone. The properties represent the company and they recognize that. The owners of the homes share the same agreement. There are always conversations with owners to improve properties as tentents move in/out to keep the homes up to date and ready for new tenents to have a nice home to stay in. No matter what your rental cost is, your home will be taken care of like anyone elses home will be. If something breaks, they will fix it, and fix it right. With the city growing as fast as it is, maintenance can be hard to find, but they have a team of dedicated contractors to get to your request as quickly as possible. I am a commited contractor to the company because they show me daily that they care about the tenent and their home.As far as the rental side, I stand with the great group of people that work hard everyday to serve the tenents & owners of the homes. Again, as this city grows quicker than most can handle, I see the hard work everyone puts in each and every day. From, text messages & emails, to phone calls & in person meetings. The ladies are able to somehow stay ahead and on top of things. If something is missed, they will quickly get it fixed to the best of their ability and press ahead. I commend the office staff for the work they put in. Hard to find a team of people who work like they do to serve so many others. Bell Properties helped me find my home that I currently rent and my family loves our home. We discussed what we were looking for and our price range. Together we found the perfect fit for us.Ms Maurey, the owner of Bell Properties, offers so much to the community through her business. We are hoping to buy a home by next year and weve already had discussions helping us prepare for our new endeavour. Outside of property management, she also has a great group of agents who are ready to help someone find or sale their home, she remodels homes and she will also help you if you are looking to invest in homes. You can tell she not only loves what she does but this industry is in her DNA.In conclusion, some may see that being a contractor for Bell Properties, I may be bias, but the truth is, I always keep my eye out for character, integrity and honesty.     I usually dont take time to write reviews but in this case and on this Easter day I thought it was the thing to do... I wanted to say that Karen Jacks is the best realtor I have ever worked with... I have done more than 20 deals and most recently had several properties here in the area that I have tried to sell for years.. I have had at least10 listings on them with no success.. To the point that when I asked one realtor lady why we had no offers she said I needed to understand how things work now... Listings are made and then you just sit around and hope someone calls... In her case she said it was at her favorite bar.. Lol... I had finally resolved myself that I was stuck with having to juggle rent payments to paying the notes and filling in with my paycheck from the job I hated.. I saw Karens sign next to one if my places and decided to give it one more try.. She actually went to work.. Taking amazing pictures and writing a listing where I wanted to buy it myself.. Literally within weeks I had offers on 2 of them.. Well more money than I had ever dreamed. They closed right on time... Then she had offers on the rest but I had to delay closing because I could not handle any more money coming in to save on capital gains tax.. What a problem to have.. But we made the closings due in January and they went like clock work...i was able to retire the next week which is the only point that we get into real estate in the first place.. I know this was long winded but I could not in any way speak more highly of Karen and Larry.. Many times people speak of the Lord being on their side and it is usually a smoke screen... In her case she proved to me that it is true... Every word...
