I am a lender that has worked with Melissa and her Team on several occasions. She is very responsive and goes above and beyond to make sure Sellers and Buyers have a smooth experience from start to finish. I was grateful to be part of her Back to School snow cone event in Portland this year. Several hundred people showed up as a testament to Melissas great service and relationships with her clients even after the deal has closed!

Melissa is an extremely knowledgeable and diligent realtor. She went out of her way to help us find our home. She was very conscientious of what exactly we were needing in our home search and helped us sort through the numerous listings to find the homes that could accommodate our needs. We were able to buy our home at a very reasonable price with very little haggling. When it came to sell our old home, she was crucial in helping us choose colors and upgrades that would make the home more marketable. With her guidance, we were able to remodel our old home to such a degree that we had an offer for full listed price on the first day of the listing!!! Could not ask for a better agent!!!

Even though Melissa was out of state she referred me to an agent in my area, which helped me purchase the house I live in now. Even though Melissa was not actually my buying agent, she was more than willing to help me understand the process of the loan application, appraisal and inspection of the house leading up to settlement. With out her help, I think I would have been a lot more stressed and concerned that things would go wrong at the last minute.

On a scale of 1 - 10, Melissa Porter gets an 11! Melissa is highly motivated for sales. She approached us when she learned we were selling our home. She has a great personality, remembers everything. She is extremely adept in problem solving, when any problem came up, she had a solution. She is very attentive to detail, solves issues with speed and accuracy. She is very thorough, not missing anything on any of the forms. She is skilled at Texas Real Estate rules for buyers and sellers. She is articulate in explanation of requirements, codes and forms. She is an expert in electronic document processing. She told us from the outset, the range that we could sell our home for and we went for the high end. We received offers for that amount in 2 weeks after listing with her.
