    Cindys husband Joseph helped my wife and I purchase our first home. The overall experience was great!!! Joseph is not pushy at all, and allowed the process to go at our own pace. His knowledge of the market and the cost to do certain home repairs, made the negotiating process much easier and helped us feel comfortable that we were getting a great deal and that any requested repairs were handled properly or that we were compensated fairly to handle the repair ourselves. There is no doubt that the Spurlock team will be the only realtors we use for any of our future real estate needs.

    Cindy and Joseph provided such a great experience selling and buying our homes! We received 3 offers within 2 days and sold for over list price. We really didnt think wed find our pie in the sky dream house on our budget, but they pulled through and we found an amazing house and got it for a GREAT price. They were able to meet for showings quickly and with very little notice. They also stuck with us throughout the entire process to make sure the inspections and repair items were followed through on. Overall, great experience and I highly suggest the Spurlock team!

    We were looking for houses in Dallas/Fort Worth from out of town, and after researching many homes online we decided to call a few of the agents we found online who had positive reviews. Joe was prompt and courteous, and his good nature came across clearly on the phone, so we decided to give him a try. That choice worked out well for us.We covered a lot of houses in a pretty wide area in a couple of weekend visits by our family, and he always had suggestions for more houses for us to try. To us he seemed very knowledgeable and patient as we figured out what style, location, and price range fit our needs. His approach is no-pressure, and we didnt feel any pressure from him to settle for something that didnt fit what we were looking for. We learned a lot from him about the housing market and the process of home buying, and we were able to find one home in particular that appealed to our whole family.Having built our home 15 years earlier out of state, we werent familiar with lots of the details of the negotiation and closing process. Joe was equally effective in leading us through making offers and helping us meet all the deadlines in an organized and secure way. Initially we were not very close to the sellers offer, but we were all able to compromise and settle on a deal that we were happy with. He was very thorough in making sure all the negotiated fixes to the home were accomplished. He also handled the lease agreement when the sellers needed more time to move out. With the large number of short-term deadlines and decisions that needed to be made, we were impressed with how accessible he was and how he followed through on everything we needed. We dealt with a lot of different people in our home-buying process, and he stood out as being more reliable and a pleasure to work with than the others whom in general provided an overall positive experience. There were lots of opportunities for issues to crop up, but I believe Joe made a big difference in our ability to navigate through everything and avoid major problems. If you are looking for a competent and reliable real-estate agent with a good attitude I recommend giving him a try.
