    I was quite hesitant about moving in but the location and price beat out the negative reviews. Within 2 weeks of living here new management has completely turned things around. In just a short time, theyve made significant improvements to the property with extending office hours, trash schedules and THE PARKING SITUATION. Its evident that they genuinely care about creating a better living experience for us all. The new team understands that this is more than just an apartment complex; its our HOME. This place is clean, quiet and prime location. Huge thank you to the team that took over and is actually listening!

    Love it here, and will never say anything bad about Vecina. There is nothing to complain about here! Danielle and Samantha are so helpful in the leasing office. They work hard to make Vecina a safe and fun place to live. Maintenance is on top of the requests and respond quickly. Amazing amenities, lots of hikes around us, and great restaurants. We love living at Vecina! For the price- you get a lot. Amazing management, and team!!

    Absolutely love living here. We have been residents for a year and have signed a lease to renew. Chelsea has come in and completely changed the living experience of Vecina. She has listened to the residents and been able to put things in action swiftly! We are so grateful for her coming in as the new manager. Kassandra, in the front office is always a big help. The maintenance here are top tier. Live here and you won’t regret it!

    Hi, my kids love Vecina. We rented an apartment for my kids during an educational exchange, and they simply love the place. The apartments, the ammenities, and even the security, despite the fact that this is not a gated community, are great. I just wanted to express that the new manager, Chelsie, and her new administration are fantastic! She is professional, respectful, and always smiling, which is why my kids and their guardians at Vecina really wanted to stay for another year. The former administration was quite toxic, rude, and consistently opposed to the customers. It felt like they didnt appreciate the people living in their own apartments. The previous manager was rude on several occasions. I believe that with this new administration, the Vecina apartments will return to their former glory.

    I have no complaints what so ever! They are an awesome apartment complex! Im waiting on my renewal as we speak! The office staff is so nice and very helpful with all my questions! Chelsea (the property manager)helped me out when I had a small problem and went above and beyond to accommodate me! Maintenance is crazy fast and on top of everything!     September 2024 update :Property is under new management and I could not be happier. Chelsea the new manager and the leasing staff are a godsend! Coming into the office under the prior management frankly was simply u pleasant, the manager always seemed like she had an attitude, made you feel like you were a problem or issue if you came to her for help and she generally had the overall demeanor of someone who didn’t like their job and it was clearly projected into how that management dealt with the residence …Fast forward to now and it’s a complete 180 I actually like and look forward to going into the officeChelsea is always happy , and pleasant to talk to and work with , she is eager to help and makes you feel valued as a resident and appreciated , where previously I felt like I was just a number, another person to fill a space to increase occupancy!Like Chelsea legit pulled me in her office and was like what can u do to earn a better debit from you !!!To me that speaks for itself..Just renewed my lease and transferred to a 3 bedroom and if old management was here I would have 100% found a new place to stay …#TeamChelsea lol4 stars for Alex specifically !Overall my stay at Vecina has been peaceful it’s a nice community, in a great location next to a great school! My son and I love it here , I have been here only a few months and have seen a lot of people come and go in the leasing office but the one person who remains consistent is the assistant PM Alex, she is always open and willing to help and she does so with a smile on her face, there have been several occasions where I have come in to see who I assume is the manager sitting behind her desk typing away, that lady will literally act like she doesn’t see you and then approach you with a demeanor that one can only assume is an attitude simply for pulling her away from her current task to ask for help , then there is Alex who will clearly be juggling multiple task simultaneously and she will stop whatever she is doing to assist and she does so with a smile on her face and pleasant attitude. And this isn’t just my experience I’ve witnessed similar events occur with other residents.You can tell this lady is passionate about her job because I see her regularly greet residents by name,All in all I am sure the other residents will attest that Alex is the heart beat that keep Vecina on the up and up so thank you ma’am for all that you do you kindness and willingness to help means a lot to me !Have to update this review the parking situation really almost cancels out all the great things about living here , I’ve now been towed 3 times and I live here !If you come home past 7 pm you will not be able to find a space anywhere near your apartment ( I have a small child) .If you park in a handicap as that’s the only available space next to a dumpster mind you I get towed.So why don’t you guys tell your tow company while scanning vehicles to scan and tow the people that don’t live here that’s taking the residents spaces , don’t tows the residents that actually live here

    I have just started the application process and I have been extremely impressed with how easy and clear the process was. I am also beyond impressed and thankful for the kindness and attentiveness the staff has had with me in the last couple of months since I have been contemplating moving into these apartments. The manager has gone above and beyond to try to find me the best apartment for my family and has explained the whole process with a lot of patience. Yesterday, I went to finally tour one last time to make my final decision and I was greeted by a gentleman named Anthony. I was very impressed by his level of professionalism, knowledge about the apartments and most importantly his kind and positive attitude. Despite asking him a million questions and having him rushing around, since I was in a time crunch, Anthony went above and beyond to find me an apartment that I was in love with and that also worked with my timeline and expectations. He stated he was determined to find me my new home and he sure did! I am excited to start this new chapter of my life in our new home!

    I recently went by for my tour and I had a great overall experience. Jacob the leasing agent showed me a couple floor plans of my liking and was able to work out the availability. They have been super communicative throughout the process of my moving. Spoke to the manager Danielle who was very patient and helpful going over my lease agreement. Excited for my new place highly recommend Vecina!

    This is a calm and fantastic place to live in the Stone Oak area. It is close to exemplary schools, stores, and everything else you may need. The 3-bedroom apartment is surprisingly spacious.

    I’m giving a 5 star review of this property because it is so well maintained.The maintenance staff are so respectful and friendly , Jonathan in particular has been very impressive. He’s fast and thorough when I’ve needed any minor things fixed.The grounds are kept up and the pool was always so clean and blue during the hot summer months.A big Thank you to the maintenance staff for all that they do.

    Well I have a family member that resides here. Each and every time I visit I am just amazed at how Beautiful and clean this property is. I have even accompanied my family member to the office. The staff member that greeted us, his Name was Jacob, he was very friendly and welcomed us in. He helped us with what we needed in a timely manner. Ive visited other properties and sometimes there is trash every where but the cleanliness here at Vecina is outstanding. I am completely satisfied with the property my brother has chosen to call Home. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK 👏👏👏

    Moved in back in July and it has been amazing! Have not had many maintenance requests, but when I do maintenance is always quick to respond. The office staff are always friendly whenever I stop in to grab a coffee. Love that the common areas are now open 10am to 10pm now.

    I do want to say I don’t leave many reviews on places, but I had to share how I felt. the apartments are well kept up, Maintenance is on top of work, always a friendly face. If I put in a work order they get to it as soon as possible. Compared to my old apartments, the staff and property itself are such a relief. I’m so happy at where I am!

    Is a very clean property. I really love pulling in and seeing the huge club house. I canceled my gym membership because the gym here at Vecina has everything I need and more. Very impressed. The view of stone oak from my unit is something I enjoy every night. A little wink in my evening.

    We are excited to start our new journey with Vecnia. Lovely place and location is close to restaurants, activities and school for our kids. Alexandria the Assistant is a joy to work with. She made the application process very smooth and she is easy to work with. She even took the time to listen to us as we tried to obtain spectrum service that is not offer there and gave us great information on a new service. As a corporate trainer for another management company I was thoroughly impressed with how Alexandria took care of us.

    I come to visit my sister here from time to time, and I can say that the Apartments are being cared for by the current management team. The apartments look clean, well maintenenced, and is in a good location that gives a good mix of urban and nature. Also a great location if you utilize military services on base (Camp Bullis).I would of given Vecina Apartments 5 stars if they had a robust collection of eligible discounts, and a more competitive selection of internet services to choose from (Google Fiber please?). I cannot say anything about rent prices as I do not live there.

    Love love love the property and welcoming staff !!! Took a tour as me and my family are considering relocating to San Antonio and I was blown away ! The property is absolutely gorgeous. I can see myself relaxing at the pool or playing games with my kids in the club house. Every member of the staff I dealt with were exceptional.

    Been living here for a year everything is really good, fast response when you place ticket to fix something in apartment, maintenance is great , today I went to the office cause I had an issue with my lease renewal and found that the management has been changed, the new manager Chelsea resolved my issue in no time and I renewed my lease same day for another year, thanks Chelsea, you’re so awesome:)

    Lived here for a bit over five months. I’m not sure what the negative reviews are for, but it seems like residents are really leaving reviews for the inconsiderate, thoughtless residents that live here and not the staff and property. Residents will blame the business rather than the real problem. For example, people use the gym but can’t seem to put back five pound dumbbells. Too difficult to lift? Don’t use it. Other than that, maintenance has been great and new management seems to actually care about the way The Vecina is represented. This complex is close to two grocery stores, a dog park, schools, daycares, Target and Camp Bullis.

    While I have limited experience to speak from, I am happy to say that the Vecina has proven itself to be an excellent complex to call myself a resident of.Naturally, everything is brand new, and the quality of the construction itself is quite nice (occasional scuff or imperfection here or there, but nothing that would make me question the craftsmanship of most of the build itself). Maintenance has always been responsive and been out 1-2 days from the time we request, prompt in attending to our issues, and if they have been unable to fully fix an issue, they have briefed me on exactly why, exactly what theyre doing about it, and the exact timetable, and without fail they have met it.Amenities wise, this is par for the course for the area and this price range, but the pool here is absolutely divine when you can be in it and see the sunset/views from the top of the hill. The dog spa is quite nice (multiple wash stations at different heights, a large blow dryer, provided cleaners, etc.), the connection to the trail is spectacular, covered parking if you need it, and the 24/7 clubhouse and gym are awesome spaces to simply relax with guests/get out of the apartment without going anywhere, and to work out, respectively. This gym in particular, in terms of selection, is great compared to most apartment gyms, at least in my experience. I make regular use of it.Pricing is acceptable, and admittedly the views some of these units can get are worth the price increases relative to some other properties in this area. Overall, however, the Vecina ends up being cheaper than its competitors compared to what you get for the money, and I assume this is because the property is just so new. No damages, great views, high-end finishes, good maintenance and great event setting by the office (said staff being some of the nicest people Ive ever met [Emily was GREAT to us, very responsive and clear], and my familys southern) all come together to make the price easily acceptable, especially since I split it with roommates.There is also this great space you can pay for built exclusively for people who work from home. I myself save the money and relegate myself to my bedroom, but I highly recommend it to anyone who does spend most of their work day home. Its a really nice space.The area (Stone Oak) is definitely one of the few young and hip areas of a historically old city, so the energy here is very different than what Im used to, but its a nice change of pace. The quality of driver here reminds me of Houston, which for anyone who has driven through Houston, is not a compliment. The traffic volume of general is a change from other parts of the city Im used to, but its the suburbs, so I expect it to take me 10-15 mins to get to where I wanna go, all the while not leaving the Stone Oak area.It is easy to live in Stone Oak and only leave the area once a month, and be happy with the choices you have in terms of shopping and eating.Finally, I will touch on the quality of the residents. To the people below us, I do apologize for the noise we make, as just like any apartment, you can hear your neighbors above you if theyre doing anything more than just walking normally. However, in terms of noise from neighbors, I have no specific complaints; the unit to unit noise insulation seems pretty good. My specific building hasnt had any issues with parties or the like, despite the low average age of renters. My neighbors most definitively smoke marijuana, which I myself do not care about, but the complex did pass out a flier asking to stop, and I havent smelt it since. There isnt a lot of littering or the like, but even if there was, there is a staff member that goes around every day from what I can tell that cleans all of that up. There were a few times I heard what sounded like a domestic dispute, but things happen, and if you live in an apartment, you should expect the occasional oh my moment from your fellow residents.Overall, a solid 5/5 from me. I will happily stay here for as long as I stay in San Antonio.

    My wife an I moved in November.All well The employees are very friendly they are available to help .I read some of the reviews mainly residents complaining about noise. Well I guess leaving at Apartment complex have is problems since the buildings floors are not thick enough.Cars go in and out 24/7 etc.I guess some how we are let’s tolerant as we go on.we had our houses and things are way different . But believe me for 6 years we leave in apartment complex and. They all are pretty much the same.But I can say that Leticia de Keon the Mgr .Mia and the whole team are great and always there to help Thanks guys.

    I just sold my house and moved to this apartment. I never imagined enjoying living in an apartment, but living at the Vecina has been more than fun! I love that since we got here everything has been open as long we wear our masks. The gym has treadmills that I can link my Netflix account to and watch my shows while I exercise. My favorite thing about this place is that they have activities/get togethers a couple times a month for their residents. Pizza night, bingo night W/PRIZES, holiday get-togethers, and so much more! I love getting to know my neighbors especially at a time when a pandemic has us feeling less connected. It can be hard to navigate between social distancing guidelines and being neighborly, but the Vecina makes it easy with both virtual and in-person events to keep residents involved. There is a never-ending list of fun activities to do here, and the amenities are fantastic. I’ve loved being able to stay here with my family, and they are happy to say the same.Management has helped me with any issue that I have had. From Stephanie who I always catch picking up trash, or doing something to make our apartments a better place to live, to Emily who made the best first impression then any of the other 9 places I went to, to maintenance supervisor Kevin who went to my apartment and unplugged everything while I was out during the snowpocalypse and Dean who is always there when we need him!! I couldn’t have asked for better or harder working people. Thank you for making this transition so easy and fun.

    Have had a great experience living here. We recently had an outage at the community which was odd weather rolled in but the management team assist the issue so quickly and within the next day had everything back in working condition I feel I made the right choice when picking to live here.

    I’ve only been here a month and I love my apartment and the whole complex. All the amenities they have to offer are beyond unbelievable. The pool area is nice and spacious and the gym is to die for.

    Great staff and amenities. Love the weekly events the complex sets up for all residents. The only thing what I wish would be improved is the parking situation as more residents move in you have to fight for a parking spot.
