    Ive been living at The Tree since August and I couldnt be happier! My Live Oak floor plan is spacious and the high ceilings (especially on the first floor!) are a huge hit with guests and my friends who visit. Management and maintenance are both fantastic ā€“ friendly, prompt, and professional. The location is perfect, just minutes from Lamar and Congress and a quick drive to downtown. Great surrounding food, and I often frequent Toss Pizza šŸ¤¤ The pool is a great bonus in the summer. Highly recommend!Side note - the pup also really loves it here

    Resident & Employee Review of Tree Apartments - By Brandon MayfieldIā€™ve lived at Tree Apartments since April of this year, and itā€™s been an experience worth sharing. From my first arrival, I was impressed by the look and design of the building as well as its central location, which provides easy access to everything Austin has to offer. While Iā€™m generally not a big fan of carpetā€”and all the bedrooms here have itā€”I found it quite easy to live with.I had the opportunity to live in both the Maple and Hickory floor plans. I especially loved the Maple, which offers just under 1,000 square feet and includes a spacious den with its own closets. The dual sinks in the bathroom, along with a walk-in closet, were huge wins for me. I also regularly used the in-unit washer and dryer, which added a lot of convenience to my daily routine. The finishes and overall size of the apartment are impressive. When I first moved to Austin, I wanted a new apartment with floor-to-ceiling windows, but I quickly realized that was above my budget. Tree Apartments ended up being the perfect fit, providing ample space, great lighting, an ideal layout, and all the amenities I neededā€”including the in-unit laundry. Plus, my guests are always impressed when they visit, which is a big bonus for me as someone who enjoys hosting.The move-in process was easy, although it took me some time to learn my way around the large property. I appreciate the amenities here, especially the pool, which is cleaned regularly and always looks inviting. The current property management teamā€”including Dianne (Property Manager) and Kelsey (Assistant Manager)ā€”is very friendly, proactive, and knowledgeable. They excel at making residents feel heard and supported, whether itā€™s through helping with lease renewals, utilities setup, or simply answering questions. They also bring a youthful energy to the community by regularly interacting with residents and hosting events, creating a fun and welcoming environment.As a leasing team member, Iā€™ve been at Tree Apartments since before the current management arrived, alongside my colleague Ryan. Weā€™ve seen challenges, but also significant improvements in staffing and overall resident experience. Weā€™ve also worked closely with Regional Manager Candace and the off-site ownership team to ensure that prospective residents and current residents alike have the best possible experience. Even on difficult days, I must say that Dianne, Kelsey, and Candace are always receptive to our feedback and committed to finding solutions.The maintenance team, led by Jorge with support from Andrew, Manuel, and Michael, has been outstanding. Despite previous staffing challenges, they consistently maintain the property well. Hallways are cleaned, service issues are addressed in a timely manner, and parts are ordered without delay. Theyā€™ve also been proactive in addressing security concerns, replacing lock mechanisms throughout the building, reminding residents to stay vigilant, and making sure new apartments are move-in ready and secure.Tree Apartments has been my first home in Texas since moving here from Fort Lauderdale, and itā€™s been an excellent choice. I recommend Tree Apartments to anyone looking for a home in Austinā€”thanks to the quality of life, central location, great amenities, and a management team that genuinely cares. The residents are refreshing, open-minded, and always welcoming, which makes the community truly special.Even though Iā€™ve recently relocated to Dallas for another opportunity within Greystar, I already miss my Tree Apartments community. Iā€™ll always consider it my second home, and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a move to Austin.

    Iā€™ve lived at Tree since 2017! I consider Tree my home. I have seen staff come and go. Being here as long as I have, and being a happy resident, I do miss some of the classic staff that were fantastic and made me feel so welcome originally. Weā€™ve just hit a new era of super staff new hires and Iā€™m excited to see all of the renovations, the cleanliness and caring and the extra bonus services that they keep bringing on board. My downtown view is astounding, I use the pool almost every day in the summer for evening swims, I love the gym and the fact that we are so close to shops and the airport and downtown for fun and business is a no-brainer for me that I will keep signing my lease every year! So thank you Tree for providing me with such an amazing place to call home!

    Amazing management team. Community manager Dianne really cares, and goes out of her way to be knowledgeable, and implement constant improvements throughout the community! The leasing staff is over all the best in the area! Beautiful finishes, appliances, gorgeous quiet courtyards. The multilevel fitness center really grabbed my attention, and the sparkling swimming pool in center of the community. Twenty stars if I could!

    I lived at Tree for 14 months from 2019-2020 and I loved it. The unit I was in overlooked a neighborhood which made it feel really homey. The bar beneath Tree did get really noisy at night, which I could see being a real issue if your unit was near it, but I didnt have any issues with that.My favorite thing about Tree was that it felt incredibly fresh and clean, as if it were a brand new unit. We didnt have to clean much upon move-in, and all the appliances looked like theyd never been touched. The windows are so big, so the natural lighting was perfect.Staff were very responsive when Id call or email. Maintenance was also insanely good. They would come out almost immediately for any request we made, big or small. They fixed our initial issues from our apartment condition form without us even having to ask. The maintenance guy was so friendly and helpful.I didnt have the same issue people had with noise from surrounding units. It felt like the ceilings and walls were really thick. Maybe if youre extremely sensitive to noise it wouldnt be perfect, but it wasnt a problem for me at all.There were almost no bug issues inside. We did have the occasional german cockroach, but only 3-4 in the 14 months we lived there which I think is probably normal for apartment living in Texas. Some neighbors said they had issues with millipedes on the first floor, but on our second floor unit we didnt get anything like that. There were, however, massive roaches all over outside at night, which was really upsetting for me while at the pool or walking outside. I dont know if that can be helped in Texas though. This was my primary issue living at Tree and the only reason I wouldnt go back, which really isnt their fault.

    Ive been living at Tree for almost 2 years now and have enjoyed the entire time Ive been here. The location and complexs amenities are amazing (and not an added fee like some other complexes charge). Ive used the gym when Im too rushed to get to Golds and theres adequate equipment and barely ever more than a few people in there.The pool is the highlight of this complex, especially during the summer. You can easily meet your neighbors and make new friends from the many events (some the complex sponsors, some are just spontaneous). I will sorely miss the weekend pool gatherings and the eclectic group of residents.Im also impressed managements concern when they stepped up security because of thefts in the area. Ever since they hired a new security force I havent been aware of recent incidents.I WFH a few days a week and I can see the maintenance guys down by the pool organizing the area, cleaning up the hallways and garage area. They always seem to be on the grounds making it better. Ive only needed to call maintenance a couple of times and they were immediately responsive the day I submitted my request.I also want to say thanks to the leasing staff for all the help when I moved in to the complex and now that Im moving out to live closer to my relative.I highly recommend living at Tree. It definitely has that Austin vibe and is close to just about everything you could possible need.

    I love these apartments! Brandon and Ryan always greet me when I walk into the office; they are very professional and kind. When I first moved in, both Ryan and Brandon, including Lisa (Property manager), went above and beyond to get things rolling in a timely manner, and I was/still am very impressed with how clean they keep this complex. Ive lived in many apartment complexs and this is by far the best. I HIGHLY recommend

    Recently Lisa and Rebekah have been helping me work out several unrelated mini emergencies I have had come up which usually would be a nightmare to rectify at most apartment complexes. They not only fixed everything so quickly, but genuinely put care into it. It made me feel like I was actually being heard and listened to instead of just yelling to the void. They have great communication skills which are honestly all anybody could ever ask for from those in leadership. Obviously we cant snap our fingers and fix ever little mishap that arises on a whim. What makes a difference in these situations is having somebody on the team who goes the extra mile to not only deliver on promises made, but touches base to keep you in the loop! Long resolution times are no issue when youre constantly in the know of what is happening behind the scenes to make it right! Both of these lovely ladies thrive in that field and Im so happy to have them here with the entire maintenance team who get it done right the first time, each time! Super important for the value of keeping my lease at tree each and every year it comes renewal time! Thank you guys again so much!! I appreciate the blood sweat and tears youre putting in! It shows!!

    Tree apartments has excellent management from our Sr. Community Manager - Lisa Cavazos. She is a hardworking, dedicated community manager who will see to the needs of her tenants. Lisa will pull overtime to ensure that accidents which occur on the property are ameliorated quickly dipping into her own personal time to resolve the hard issues. My personal experience with the Sr. Property Manager was stressful in what I sought remedied from the perspective of a tenant. However, Lisa responded with agility and clear direction to ensure that my issue was resolved. She exemplifies an upbeat positive attitude while maintaining concise professionalism. Id highly recommend Tree Apartments to anyone while Lisa is leading the maintenance of the property on behalf of Grey Star. She an outstanding beacon of efficiency and courtesy.

    Tree Apartments is a great place to live! The location is close to all of my daily stops (Target, Starbucks, Golds Gym) and is safe. Francisco and his team are ALWAYS eager to assist with anything. I really appreciate living in a community that I love with a management team that exceeds all expectations as a resident. No place is perfect, but Tree Apartments and the management team are pretty close. If you are a good resident you should check out Tree Apartments and we can be neighbors!

    So much has improved since the new manager has been here! The halls are always clean, the parking lot is cleaned daily now too! I never wait more than a day or so for maintenance requests. šŸ™ƒ I like living so close to Cosmic Coffee and I adore this little South First hood!! Planning to renew, but wanted to shout out to the team here!

    I enjoyed living at Tree apartments and would recommend it to anyone interested: They deserve 4.5/5. The leasing team is composed of top-notch professionals. They remained attentive to my needs throughout my stay, often organized fun events, and ensured that the premises were cleaned and decorated. Similarly, the maintenance team responded to my requests fast, fixed issues in my room at the soonest and with flawless quality of service.The complex has several amenities: the gym and the pool to follow the latest quality guidelines. I appreciated the delivery service through Amazon hub. The management also made the community safer by hiring renowned courtesy patrols.Despite the great view of downtown, the main cons for me were the noise from the busy road nearby/the daily removal of waste, the size of my room w.r.t. the pricing, and the car towing rules. Overall, I recommend Tree appartments, since as per my experience, it is home to a vibrant, welcoming, and safe community.

    Nichole (the property manager) is taking care of community upgrades and handling everything extremely well. She sends constant updates and really cares about a tenantā€™s feel of comfort. She took quick action to my inquiries, and felt heard and understood by her. I can tell theyā€™re working hard to make this place a great community. Youā€™ll find tons of restaurants and cool places to go here in 1st, and itā€™s also very close to Zilker, Barton Springs, and also quick access to the highway. Very good location.The walls inside the apartment are somewhat thin, so youā€™ll probably hear some noise from your neighbors, as you will in most apartments,.

    I like living here for the most part. They get really persnickety if youā€™re a couple days late on rent, which is quite expensive. The rooms are nice enough and roomy, but the niceness is focused on aesthetics. The amenities are good and the staff are great. Location is convenient and having concrete construction and a parking garage is great. I can watch anything as loud as I want and itā€™s no problem.

    It is usually not an easy decision to move from a house to an apartment, or to move from one apartment to another. However, the leasing staff (Im pointing at you, Megan!) made it a very easy one. We have not lived in an apartment for over 10 years, but are so happy that we moved here. The entire staff has been fantastic! Every time I walk through the office to get my mail, I am met with smiles and hellos. Even my dog gets a warm reception. :) The maintenance staff has taken care of any issues that I have had very quickly, efficiently, and happily. I also love being able to pay my rent or submit a maintenance request online! The view from our apartment is beyond compare. This is the place to be!

    I have lived at Tree Apartments going on 2 years now. It has been a great experience. The facilities are so clean and in my opinion dog friendly. I wish the gym had cable machines since its so big it could be the best gym around but it is still nice and spacious. Overall would definitely recommend Tree and do to many of my co workers.

    DISCLAIMER: I havent signed a lease yet.Although I havent signed a lease yet Ive had a chance to tour the apartments and Ive got to say they are pretty nice. I had the pleasure of working with Brit Morrison, she was very nice and explained everything in terms of apartments available and prices for my specific move-in date. These apartments are kind of pricey but if you get a good deal dont hesitate to jump on it. Customer service is always priority in my book and if I do decide to move in thatll be a huge motivating factor. Thanks Brit!

    Ive lived at tree for 6 months now and have had the best experience so far. The location is amazing for work and play. I commute North everyday and being right next to Ben White makes it super convenient and a lot less hassle then living anywhere off of I-35. UBER is normally about $8 to get downtown. I love that tree is nestled in the middle of a neighborhood, anytime I take my dog for a walk, it feels like Im walking out of a house and not just an apartment, which really makes it feel like home.The office staff is superb. They are very attentive to residents needs, extremely friendly (even remember your dogs name when you come into the office), and definitely do their part to stand out amongst other communities. All maintenance requests are usually complete the same day I put them in and those guys are awesome too.I would recommend tree to anyone looking to live in the 704. It really has been the best apartment to call home and Im extremely pleased with my decision because I know theres a lot of new apartments going up, but nothing like living with the tree people.

    Excellent location. Amenities are clean and very enjoyable. The gym is my favorite! I love coming home to our apartment. The layout is great. We also have had positive experiences with maintenance. Their response time is excellent and theyā€™ve been very helpful and courteous.

    My one year anniversary of living at tree is approaching and I must say my experience has been quite pleasant. The maintenance staff has a quick response time. The parking garage is perfect shade for your car during the Texas heat. The front office is on point with answering my questions. I am definitely renewing my lease.

    Love the Tree. The location is fantastic for South Austin access and it is very easy to get to downtown. There are Cars2go everywhere in the vicinity as well. The community is nice; neighborly. The parking garage can be a challenge as there are a few aggressive drivers. Pool and pit are top notch, however, the grill area needs better lighting. The apartments with the high ceilings are best IMHO.

    I have lived at Tree for almost 2 years. I was one of the first half dozen people to move in to the community. I have been extremely pleased since day 1. The staff is top notch, the folk in the leasing office to the maintenance crew, everyone. They are very helpful and happy to be at work which really does make this a community instead of a complex. The units have great floor plans and some incredible views. The finishes used in the apartments give each apartment a warm chic vibe. The common areas take you from your backyard to an urban coffee shop. Did I mention their is a gastropub like right here!! Easy to say I will live at Tree until I decide to buy or leave ATX.

    The Tree team worked with me to accommodate a reasonable renewal lease after an original disagreement we had. They were fair in listening to my concerns, and ultimately helped to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement for both parties. If you find yourself in the market for an apartment with a good location and staff, it would be wise to consider Tree as a future home.

    The tree is an amazing community! The community is so clean, from the swimming pool to the backyard everything is absolutely amazing! The office staff is excellent and every time I need a package or just have questions they are very helpful. I would highly recommend this community to someone who is looking for an awesome location, and comfortable living near the city.

    Highly recommend this property.great building and amenities - great pool. bocce ball court, bbq, and ping pong in back courtyard.hotel style lobby w/ imac computers, coffee machine, pool table, a bunch of tvs. grab gym, too.apartments have wood floors and stainless steel appliances. nice layouts, too. washer + dryerare included in each apartment.but, where this apartment shines is the staff. the office staff is excellent and professional. themaintenance crew are awesome, too. landscaping on property is always impeccable.the live oak trees on property are incredible.residents are of the hipster, professional ilk and very friendly.having porter (restaurant) on site is awesome. always seem to end the day / evening here.

    Im on my third year and personally, never had an issue. Staff is always on top of things and are willing to go out of their way to help solve any problems that may arise. The two issues that I ever saw was dog poop on the floor and a dog park large enough for pooches to run around in. Both were solved. The Mad Pooper moved out and a sizable dog park was made. Some of the complaints on here are probably from people who canā€™t even do their own laundry because theyā€™ve been fed with a silver spoon their whole life...their only satisfaction in life is to whine about things. Pound for pound, Tree is the best place in the area.

    Newer complex w great amenities and staff. During my initial visit, Francisco gave me a very thorough tour of the complex, answered all my questions and never rushed me. I love the complex so far. Great pool and fitness room.

    Iā€™m going on my 4th year of living at tree. Itā€™s the best community Iā€™ve ever lived in.The office and maintenance teams are great. They are very attentive to all resident needs. Maintenance request are handled in a timely manner. The community always looks great and clean. Iā€™d highly recommend living here to anyone looking for a new place to live.
