Overall the experience could be better! I’m about to finish my lease and looking forward to renew under the new management company. The previous one, sucked. Gates always broken, you complained about something, whether it was over crowded people at the people with mainly ppl who don’t live there. My door lock was broken for several months, nothing was done! Somehow it was always turned back to you, neighbors retaliate for noise complaints. Be mindful. We all anticipate some level of noise but not to the extremes I went through. People steal packages, specially during the holiday season. Previous management never cared.I appreciate Tamara and her new team, who’ve welcomed me in renewing and addressing my concerns with ease, and looking for the best accommodations possible. I’m excited to see what the changes bring, I know it may come with a cost but I rather pay a little more and see difference. Previous management never delivered, created events never did them. Never cared. It’ll take time to adjust but over all the community, area and the apartments are nice, if you as a tenant are responsible as well!!Thank you!!

Move-in was a breeze. The staff was so helpful with answering all the questions we had for them. Our unit was as close to perfect on move-in and we encountered 1 small issue that was handled so quickly we were shocked at the speed of resolution. The property so far has been quiet and clean with all amenities available. 10/10 would absolutely recommend this property.

Being in the service industry, I understand what it takes to give great service. I can say, without a doubt, that the entire team at the Timberhill Commons office is definitely it!!! I leased sight unseen due to working the same schedule as the office is open, so I looked at the reviews, the photos and called to see what info I could get! I initially had spoken on the phone to Jennifer, and she helped me through the process to get everything completed!When I first walked in, the team in the office was very welcoming without knowing I had already leased with Jennifer. The manager Jessica came out and greeted me while she was walking with maintenance, and Stephanie offered to show me my new apartment and to tour the amenities! It was beautiful!!! I somehow got lucky to have leased an apt with a HUGE yard!!! My apartment is absolutely perfect for my needs and that closet... WOW!! I am still amazed! Today is move in day, and I am beyond excited!!

I’ve lived here for two years now. They offered a first floor apartment with a fenced yard so my dogs could enjoy a bit of time outside while I watch from the patio. The maintenance staff are friendly, and they get things fixed quickly.A new management company took over from the previous one last October. My first interaction with them was to inquire about my lease renewal, which the previous company failed to execute on time. The manager from the new company, Greystar, stayed in contact with me until the new lease was ready to be signed.My second experience…perhaps a week later, reporting that my yard had not been mowed in nearly a month, and my dogs and I were wading through thigh-high grass when we were in the yard. Management advised that a new yard maintenance crew was starting soon. A day or two later, O was surprised to find that the yard had finally been mowed/trimmed.Greystar kept the good front office staff and added their own. This has been a good thing for us. Since they took over management of the complex, I have seen more e-mail communication to residents than I had seen in the preceding 18 months. The only thing I wish the property offered was a garage in which I could park my car.

Jennifer was quite possibly the best leasing agent I’ve ever met. She was so friendly, and most importantly honest. Most leasing agents come off very car salesmen esque. Jennifer was incredibly genuine and had tons of knowledge about the community and property. She is a 10/10 I wish every apartment complex had a Jen.

Don’t typically leave reviews but this place stood out. Checking around the area for a new place to live and I found this spot. Clubhouse is clean and the aesthetic of the office is clean. I spoke with Jessica and she gave me some solid options to consider plus the rest of the staff all seemed friendly as well. I’m definitely considering this community.

Love these apartments! Just renewed my lease for another 13 months. Staff was very helpful and cooperating when I first moved in and still are. Clarissa is always a huge help and welcoming when I come to the office. Maintenance staff are very good and keep up with requests. Any concerns I’ve had regarding anything have always been handled quickly and correctly. Floor plans are nice and the pool area as well. No complaints with neighbors or the units. Community events are held pretty frequently as well in the Community Office area and are always a good time.

This place has definitely taken a turn for the BETTER, the new management team has really improved the quality of living here. They are responsive and considerate to any issues I have with my apartment. I love the fact that I can pay my rent and request help from maintenance just using the app on my phone. 5/5 would recommend

I loved when I lived here and loved the leasing staff as well!an apartment can be great but what ultimately makes or breaks your leasing experience is the staff. The staff here has been phenomenal, from Gabby, Greene, Mario, and Clarissa, they made my stay here just that much better; Any time I had an issue with maintenance or with the property they always quickly remedied it. If it wasnt for me having to leave for military duty, I would have stayed!Great for military members as well due to its close proximity to Lackland!!

For this being my first apartment in a new city I love it so far, such a nice quiet, clean neighborhood for my daughter and I. We’ve had no problems in my 10 months of being here. Very convenient location for schools and shopping. I enjoy neighborhoods that remind me of home like this one. Mario has helped me with so much since moving in and went over the top to fix any issues that have came up for me. I also can’t go a morning without hearing maintenance say good morning. I would recommend these apartments to anyone looking for one!🤍

I am so proud to be a tenant of timberhill commons they are more like a family than a business. Alexis has been my life saver because of my health problems she did not have to treat me with the courtesy that she extended to me. Kari I tip my hat to because or our emotional attachment. Please take the time to visit timberhill commons i guarante you you wont be disappointed.

The staff has zero communication skills. Zero. I haven’t even moved in yet and I’m irritated. I had to go out of my way on at least three occasions to contact them first and repeat emails they didn’t answer before (even though a week had passed). I applied, got approved, then heard nothing. So I emailed, again, asking how the process goes and where can I sign the lease. I lie to you not, all the staff member emailed back was “you sign it two weeks before move in”. That’s it. Zero help. I’m supposed to trust the apartment will be held for me without a deposit or any form of paperwork? When do I turn in my security deposit and how? They said there was a 4-8 week promo, never told me which one would apply to my unit and what the prorated rent would be. I still know nothing. It’s March 2nd, I first emailed them on 17 March. On the other hand, the property is beautiful, location is great, parking looked good, amenities sound great, but if this is how the staff communicates to people trying to give them THEIR money I would rather live in a Super 8.EDIT/UPDATE: About a day or two after posting this, someone reached out from their team. I wish I could remember her name. She was super sweet and answered all of my very easy questions in about three minutes. She gave clear instruction, explanation, and was apologetic. Like I said, beautiful property, beautiful units. Hopefully their staff takes some lessons from whoever this woman was and moves forward with her guidance.

Very nice apartments and staff. I like dealing with people that are upfront and forward and everytime I have had to go in the office Ive had the pleasure of talking with Joel Gutierrez. Hes a straightforward guy and doesnt beat around the bush. I appreciate people that are going to give it to me straight and he does just that. Veteran to veteran, thank you Joel! There needs to be more people out there like you!

Awesome floor plans to go along with their affordable prices. Place is neat and tidy with so many amenities on site. Parking is accessible and is also accommodating to those with disabilities. My daughter is a Med student at the Med Center and this complex is close to her school. My daughter was so pleased with the tour of these apartments after visiting a half dozen other complexes before choosing this one. The complex lighting and parking gives you a sense of safety. Thanks to Clarissa Elizondo for all her help.

Beautiful property with large pool, outdoor grills, and a really nice resident lounge and game room. New management has definitely turned around the operations from prior management team and implemented safety and security measures for the residents.

Beautiful Apartment was, clean and felt like alittle part of a mansion lol. Ms Gabriela M welcomed us with open arms as our host/tour Ms.Gabriela M was very professional and very knowledgeable on everything she was saying we had questions and she had the perfect answers made the tour fun for us. The rooms and beds were very Comfortable, well kitchen was very nice , very fancy perfect for those hard days at school/work ideal for just chilling. So I wanna thank you Ms Gabriela M for giving us the tour and will definitely recommend everyone I know to come and visit this awesome apartment complex.

These apartments are so amazing!! Brand new, they really hit the mark and provided incredible luxury. Minutes away from 410 and I-10, this complex is a choice location for a young professional like myself. Mario Esparza, the leasing consultant who I worked with was also extremely professional and knew the leasing process inside and out, answering all of my questions without problem. If you’re looking for your next place to call home I would definitely go visit him!! You

We moved into this community shortly after moving back into the country and this place has exceed our expectations. The staff is wonderful, the community is well kept up with, maintenance is quick and most importantly, they know how to take care of good tenants. I’ve been here since it first open up as Mario and Gabby have been great workers in helping me move in to welcoming me here as a family. Any issues I had they had it settled the next day. Along with the help of management Mr. Green will personally help out if needed with no questions ask! They bring out an amazing atmosphere and with more employees coming in like Bell and Kat has been doing great for everyone here!

Great place to rent, nice pool, WiFi is super fast , free cable . There is no such thing as a perfect pace to rent. We are not perfect. But this place is damn well near it. I actually have some nice perks to rent here. I’m happy they thought outside the box with the WiFi . Apartment rental places need to progress with these perks .
