This is a great apartment complex for students and young professionals! It is an older property, so you may need some things fixed from time to time but maintenance is pretty quick to come over and fix the issue. I lived in a 1 bedroom studio there for 6 months and it worked perfectly for me and my mental health support dog. I liked how the bedroom had a sliding door to separate my bed area from the living room because it provided privacy and comfort. Theres also a washer/dryer included which is always a plus.The only issues I experienced were neighbors that would litter various items in the grass areas or not pick up their dogs poop/waste. Also, there were a few neighbors that would get loud at night every so often but for the most part, it was a quiet place to live. Ive read other reviews but never experienced issues with bugs, AC/Heat, or water problems. There was only one time that they had to shut the water off for a few days due to a big leak, but they were communicative with us through email and I just stayed with a friend for a bit until the water came back on. In general, its a place that works well for students, especially if you go to UNT or are an international student because that was the general demographic there.In general, management is very kind and responsive to any issues. Just reach out to them and they will talk through your situation with you. This complex is also very affordable compared to other apartments in the area. If youre a student moving to Denton, I recommend this place!

For the most part, ive enjoyed living here for the past few years. theres a lack of bugs here which is a really big plus. ive only ever had to kill 2 roaches and youre more likely to see small spiders or have flies come into your apartment, but thats why its good to keep the spiders alive to help with that. everyone at the office has been pretty welcoming and they make it fairly easy to discuss and solve issues that i have.there can be some issues with maintenance like timing, but for the most part, they address issues on time—at least smaller ones. i did have one experience where my A/C went out for a few months (yes, months) and it took them forever to fix it because they couldnt get their equipment to access the roof in a timely manner. this happened in the summer as well, it was a terrible time. so, if I will say anything of a negative experience Ive had, its that. seriously, if your A/C brakes, be prepared to have an A/C unit in your window for some time. it may seem like a good temporary replacement until you realize that now you have a bug infestation because theyre able to get through the A/C. while i say all of this, i also want to acknowledge that the maintenance team are really nice people that mean well and have apologized for the long issue this caused me.my neighbors have typically been pretty quiet and nice, but once i did deal with a very loud neighbor and once it got out of hand i took the issue to the office and the volume issue was solved shortly afterwards.the most annoying and longest running issue here is people not picking up their pets waste.but i think this complex is great, especially for the proximity to campus, it allows you to get a good walk in to and fro. Bernard St as a road is in pretty sucky condition right now though, so just be careful on this street!

Been here for five years. I occasionally look at other apartments and still find I have little desire to move to a rival apartment complex. Rent comes with utilities and internet and such all packaged together so its convenient, and its on the I35, so its... still convenient.

Recently had a tour of this place. To be transparent I would’ve given this review a 3 star instead of a 5 due to many reason but one person did turn it around. So to start when I was touring the venue I felt very trigger by the upper management. I do not know what was going on with them that day but they were not welcoming. The only person to have a welcoming aura to them was Kevin. Kevin to say the least was a true gentleman. He greeted me at the office when no one else did. He pulled out the chair for me and offer me a water while waiting. If that’s not great customer service I do not know what is. But to keep this short the apartment was great I might sign especially if Kevin is there.

The community is very good! It’s very quiet and most residents keep to themselves, not really much activity going on. The office and maintenance team are nice and helpful! They helped me when I had a bug issue and were quick to get it resolved. I like how they do events to get everyone involved. Overall do recommend living here!

Ive lived here at these apartments for eight months now and I absolutely LOVE it! I live in a one bedroom apartment and it never feels too small. The apartment people clearly care about their tenants. Recently I had water damage thanks to my upstairs neighbor and before I knew it, the apartment had my wall dried, repaired, and painted. There are regular events for their tenants like egg hunts (for Easter), giveaways, bbq parties, etc. Its so nice! My only complaint is the pool is a bit on the small side. But if you dont want to swim a lot, then this is the perfect place to live.

I recently moved to The Venue back in August and have had a wonderful experience! Melanie the property manager is always on her game and continuously helps the residents when needed! Adrian, another member of the management team truly makes the place shine! This week, the venue team gave me and my roommate a fresh bouquet of flowers and two Starbucks gift cards to welcome in Spring! Lawrence and Anthony never fail when it comes to anything maintenance or repair related. They are always on top of my maintenance requests and constantly go above and beyond to ensure the work is done properly. No matter who you get in touch with at the venue, the staff will make sure you are well taken care of!

Signed a 6 month lease before we even looked at our apartment. We had just gotten married and moved from out of state. The apartment management was great! Zero issues and maintenance was spectacular! They aren’t anything fancy and there aren’t any bells and whistles but for student living it’s great!

So I’d say despite a rocky start recently things have been great. However, I still think there is room for improvements on amenities such as the gym could use a bench press or smith machine, the club house could use a little modernization. Finally resident wise I feel like there’s a lot of noise issues that go on.

I have lived here for about 3 yrs and so to say Im actually sad to go because its so convenient and by everything . The internet was slow sometimes but in all fine. I will say this, management 2 yrs ago were horrible with us when we had trouble with neighbors but now its fine and I love the management team and leasing team currently. They are so sweet and care about the residents here, its a pet friendly place too, almost everyone here has a dog. Never once had trouble with washer /dryer, dishwasher, and sink. My packages have always been handed to me without any problem Though there was sugar ant problems every summer but they went away with several treatments. In all I will miss it here great memories and would recommend The Venue to anyone.

I am very excited to move into The Venue Apartments. We worked with Matt through the entire process, he was very informative and knowledgeable, very easy to communicate with. Always got back with us with in 5 mins of any voicemail left. He made us feel at home and that The Venue would be a great place to be at home.As far as the actual apartment complex, they are a gated community, updated appliances, clean well kept buildings, with new A/C units, and very clean property. Extremely well lit at night, open parking lots, very safe for college students or people living alone. There are no sketchy people hanging around or in the apartments at night and during the day we watched people coming and going from the apartments most appeared to be well kept college students.The apartment complex is with in walking distance of UNT and there is a bus that goes to campus as well. Small dog park, and always have activities going on. We are super excited to move to The Venue in Aug and will keep this review updated as we go!Thanks Matt!

I am renewing my lease again I really enjoyed my appointment complex its very clean and nice. Anytime I have a problem with my apartment or have questions Ms.Jenae and her staff goes above my and beyond to make sure Im well taking care of if you looking for a very clean nice and quiet apartment complex I. Would recommend the Venue please ask for Ms.Jenae I promise she will do whatever she can to make sure you are taking cared of and wont stress about anything. Thank yall again for the helpJenae

I have lived here for less than a year but it is by far one of the best apartment complexes I have lived in in Denton. I previously lived in the Arbors right down the street and they are absolutely terrible and had nothing but bad experiences with their horrible and rude staff.BUT THE VENUE IS A COMPLETLEY DIFFERENT STORY!From the beginning the staff has been nothing but friendly and inviting. They are extremely understanding of extenuating circumstances and are always happy to help or answer any questions. The maintenance staff is great and is very prompt and attentive. The apartments are up to date with hard wood floors, flat top stoves and stainless steel/black appliances and faux granite countertops. I love having a washer and dryer in my apartment and couldnt live with out them with the amount of laundry I always do. I like that these apartments only have 2 stories, since I previously lived on the third floor of my old apartment complex.I think for your money you get a great deal and the apartment is nicer than most in the area. Cable and internet are included which is nice. I priced out multiple one bedrooms in the area and with the amenities included this is by far the best priced!I live in the smallest 1 bedroom which is only 480 square feet but that is more than enough space for me since I am never home as it is and it keeps my utilities bills low and at a great price too.The only downside I would say is that when I first moved in the apartment was a little dirty and had a few dings here and there. But living on the first floor, I kind of understand the floors being dirty from dirt and leaves flying in, but this is a very small and easily fixed problem.Overall this is a great apartment complex and I have thoroughly enjoyed living here so far and even though I will be graduating from UNT soon, I plan on renewing my lease because I enjoy living here it is a great place to live :)

I love this place. This is my first place in Denton. The stuff and the maintenance guys are really helpful, considerate and friendly. The amenities are excellent.However, Im moving out after the first year here, as I wont be sharing with my current roommate anymore, and I cant afford the single bedroom apartments here. The only negative for me will be this price range.Still, I will definitely miss this place.

The living expenses and experience at venue is perfectly alright and I personally had a issue with the time taken to respond to a problem in the house. Well i came to a conclusion that they are short staffed for the maintenance purposes.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Venue. Matt, Kelsey, Nala, and that other girl that seats next to Kelsey at the leasing office always go above and beyond to make sure Im 100% happy. Im not a picky dude, just kind of particular, like things a certain way and kind of emotional (Spanish problemsz)... But they have not let any of that stop them from making me happy. Everyone is very laid back and welcoming. Pool, basketball court, grill, billiard, ping pong, gym, extra clean and dope. Property is awesome, just come see for yourself. Be cool though, dont be like my needy self. Peace...

Enjoyed my time at the Venue! Great amenities, very close to campus, good maintenance team, however a little pricey.
