I must extend my deepest gratitude to Manali, the Assistant manager, whose professionalism and dedication shine brightly. She consistently goes above and beyond, always ready to lend a helping hand with a warm smile. Her attentiveness and genuine care foster a sense of community that is both rare and refreshing.If you are in search of a residence that combines exquisite living with unparalleled management, look no further than The Monterra Austin.     I think this is a great gym. It works 24 hours a day.P.s.We lived there for over a year. I think the staff is very qualified. We moved to a new place. But every time we drive by, we remember this place with warm feelings. And this is the merit of those who work there.

    I have lived at The Monterra for many years for many reasons! Great value for the price, the maintenance staff is always very helpful. Manali, the assistant manager, is amazing! She is very kind and works very hard to make sure the tenants are happy and taken care of!

    I moved in about 2 weeks ago and I love this place. The location and value is amazing. 1) The community is surrounded by gorgeous nature, 2) they have a pet wash station which can be used as a self-service car wash, 3) the gym has state of the art equipment. I think the gym sold me on this place alone. Im really loving it here so far. Caitlyn helped my roomate and I during the move-in process. Shes super nice and easy-going. I havent had a maintenance request yet so dont know what the response time on those are, but so far no red flags from management, they seem really nice!Downsides: Its not super easy to get in contact with the office (you wont always reach someone when you call and there isnt always someone in the office during business hours), but they respond to emails relatively quickly, so email is the best way to reach the office. Other than that Ive had a great experience at The Monterra.

Her effort in securing a ground-floor unit with a stunning pool view and close proximity to the clubhouse has significantly enhanced my living experience here.Additionally, I cannot thank Rick enough for making my arrival day so smooth and hassle-free. His warm welcome, coupled with providing essential resources, made the moving process a breeze. The sense of priority given by both Christian and Brian regarding my move-in needs has indeed fostered a feeling of community and reassurance.In an area where numerous complexes exist, The Monterra stands out not just for its prime location and amenities, but primarily for its fantastic staff who clearly take pride in offering personalized and attentive service. Thank you for making me feel right at home in Austin. I couldnt recommend The Monterra more!

    One of my favorite apartment complexes that Ive lived! The staff is extremely friendly. Its nestled nicely in some trees along with some other communities in its own road. Things get fixed rather quickly. They hold little community events which I dont see a lot of other places do. One day was literally flying.My only con is the EV chargers almost never work properly which was one of the reasons why I chose this place. Otherwise, I highly recommend it.

    I recently moved to The Monterra, and I must say it was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I stepped in for a tour until the day I received my keys, the entire process was smooth and efficient. Rick is phenomenal and always very helpful.Moreover, the amenities offered here are top-notch. From the fitness center to the communal spaces, everything is well-maintained. I particularly enjoy Gym and Pool area.Additionally, the management team has been incredibly responsive to any inquiries or maintenance requests and fix the things very quick. They have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring resident satisfaction, which I greatly appreciate.

    I have been living in Monterra for more than an year, my stay here has been very comfortable and the staff has always been helpful. The apartment itself is not only stylish but also well-maintained. The community amenities, including the fitness center and pool, are clean and well-managed. I highly recommend to anyone in search of an apartment.

    Quiet, clean apartment complex. Maintenance is awesome and always quick to complete requests. I moved in in 2021 without ever visiting the property and I was nervous being in a new city alone but I could not have picked a better community. Staff is awesome from the leasing agents to the managers to the maintenance crew! It’s not a revolving door of staff and that usually says a lot about an apartment complex.Zoned to top RRISD middle and high schools which was my main reason for choosing this community and Im so glad to have found it.

    I have lived here going on 10 years and I love the location, the serenity I get on days that just make you want to feel lazy. I have THE BEST upstairs neighbors and just really love my apartment. Plus!!! They have just renovated the workout gym/yoga/Peloton area and I can say that it looks AWESOME! And too, you have the New Bulk Mail Delivery area, a waiting area for if you are waiting for your Uber to come pick you up, study area - its just so Grown Up now that the property is in the double digits of age - hahaha Overall, I do not see myself moving any time soon.

    I’ve lived at the Monterra for nine months now and overall have had a great experience. The complex is stunning and I love coming home here. I have a gorgeous pool view, love my apt interior, and parking is plentiful with wide spaces. I also love the gym here! 5 stars goes to the leasing team (Rick & Mary) who have always been super nice and attentive to any questions. Rick especially was awesome in my initial process and went above and beyond to help me secure my spot here. It was my first solo apartment journey and he really helped me through the whole thing!Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is due to some structure and maintenance things. Sometimes the insulation/sound isn’t the best although this has not dampened my experience. Also, my move in inspection requests were never completed. I see this more as an operational issue as my regular requests have always been completed in a timely manner and the maintenance team is nice. Unrelated, but I am really hoping the theater room is completed soon!Overall though, I hope to be at this complex for another year and am quite pleased with my decision :)

    You get what you pay for here. The apartments are well laid out, parking is great, Rick is phenomenal (easily the best apartment administrator I’ve worked with), the maintenance team is fast and super friendly, post renovation the complex will have amazing amenities. Plus the location is great. Would definitely rent from Rick again in the future, sad to be leaving!

    The office team is amazing. Rick and Michael are so quick to respond and super helpful. Everyone makes you feel so welcome and valued. The maintenance team is on top of anything you need and so fast! The community is beautiful and we are so excited for the renovations! We love it here and would recommend to anyone!!

The layout is so spacious, I half-expected to find a lost tribe of explorers in the living room. The kitchen? A culinary dreamland where even the most disastrous cooks (like me) can pretend theyre on a cooking show.But the real star of the show here at The Monterra is the bathroom. Oh, the bathroom! Its so luxurious, Im convinced it was designed by someone who believed they were creating a spa retreat for royalty.The amenities in this place are off the charts. A pool so pristine, youd swear its filled with bottled spring water. A gym so well-equipped, it would make Arnold Schwarzenegger weep with joy. And a community room so inviting, its like theyre daring you not to socialize.But what truly sets The Monterra apart is the staff.     I love the design, layout of the community. They are upgrading many of their apartments. Mine was recently renovated to a washed out brown hardwood floor, white granite tops (stunning) and black cabinets, silver finishes and beautiful light fixtures. Very elegant. Staff is super friendly. Maintenance.. hands down the best I’ve had and will tend to your plants while your gone if requested amongst other requests. It’s the little things. Love all the amenities and features of this place. Only thing I wish they would renovate is the gym. They could be more efficient with the space. Otherwise I hope to upgrade here to a townhome with an attached garage next lease.

    Been here since the beginning of 2019. Great place. Feels safe, residents are nice and respectful, not loud, amenities are good even though 2020 has had less access to them due to the virus. The location is great and being on Legendary Drive, is great for walking. Staff have always been helpful, kind and available! Four stars because they never fixed the fire pit and they took away the hot tub and didn’t put a new one in. These are things we wanted and could have used. Also, some of the cosmetic work could be slightly better, like paint and such. These are small things to my family, but they matter. Overall, great experience here. Love that the complex backs up to a quiet ranch. It’s peaceful.

    My time at Monterra was nothing but great. The new team within the office is sweet as can be. My apartment was open, spacious, and the warm hues made everything feel so homey. I never had any complaints about my neighbors. They have this gorgeous ranch towards the back which is amazing to see at night looking up at the moon and stars. I wish more residents came to the events, the Christmas one was super cute and I even won an Echo Dot! Ive recommended this property to so many people and its close to Apple (which is going to be the ideal location for the expansion).

    The management team in the leasing office is always enthusiastic and willing to answer any questions I have. The day that I took a tour of the new community, I was blown away by the professionalism and Nick was eager to show me all about what The Monterra has to offer me. He showed me the features, the awesome amenities and I was hooked - I wanted to sign an application immediately! Since day one, Natalie, Keith, Avery and even the regional support team have been so informative and encompass the “can do” philosophy. The maintenance team that take care of my service requests (which has been just a few) are completed in a timely manner and with a smile! I haven’t witnessed this type of great service at any other apartment community in the past. The community grounds is always picked up and landscaping looks great!! 5 stars to The Monterra and thank you, thank you, thank you for making my apartment home sweet home.

    I very rarely give reviews but this office staff goes above and beyond with customer service. It is a smaller office staff so they do not always answer on the first call but they always call back, even when you have not left a voicemail. The property is always clean with very minimal trash. The landscaping is well kept. Parking is free and there is always a close spot. I have lived here for about 8 months and have yet to find anything I dislike. Andrew did an amazing job with our move-in even though I was out of state. Clyde is always available to help or answer any questions. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking in the North Austin area.

    Honestly Ive been here since November and havent had one issue that couldnt be fixed. My apartment was a newer one so marble counter tops, stainless steel appliances, and balcony view. Maintenance does take a few days but Ive never had to call them back for a repeated job and its a big complex so i understand. The rent is probably higher then most places but to get valet trash pickup, a carwash on the side, multiple dog park cleaning stations, a pool, gym, mail lockers, and clubhouse Ill live. Honestly if everyone says management is their worse complaint Id wonder why they have to interact so much since Ive only talked to them when I signed my lease and havent needed to again. Trust me when I say this place and its location are very nice.

    I had a very hard time with the previous management at The Monterra. I was seriously considering moving out as soon as possible, everything was confusing, maintenance requests, why the jacuzzi was never working, etc. After the new manager Julie started, she has been amazing! Very focused on resolving the situation, very clear about expectations, very helpful and attentive. Result: We have decided to renew our contract! So, Monterra, beware: People make a difference, not a beautiful landscaping and nice location!

    I lived here for nearly 3 years in a beautiful unit overlooking the pool.My unit was a one bedroom and one bathroom unit. It was approximately 800sqft. My unit had, gray, laminate flooring, white, quartz counter tops, baby blue, glass tile backsplash and espresso cabinets with stainless hardware.My appliances were black and stainless steel. My kitchen had a huge center island which is set at an angle. This angled Island thing is something you’ll love or hate. I happened to love it.The kitchen had tons of cabinet space and even a pantry for additional storage. The units come with washer and dryer, which was a huge plus.My bedroom was carpeted, with a step in closet. I have a ton of clothes so it was a bit tight for me but definitely above average. The bedroom carpet was apartment grade, so not much to talk about there.I also loved that I had dual access to my balcony from my living room and bedroom. I loved opening my balcony door on rainy nights and listening to the rain.I never had an issue finding parking.Tons of amenities including an indoor basketball court.The staff was pretty cool with the exception of one guy. I won’t say his name it of respect for his privacy but he didn’t come across as personable or accommodating when I inquired about a lease extension. Had he been more accommodating or showed a genuine interest in helping me during the midst of a pandemic, I would likely still call Monterra home. Outside of that... no real issues with the staff.Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the Monterra but here are cons:1. Doggy-Doo. Not being a dog lover and having to dodge “land mines” throughout the community due to lazy pet owners was definitely problematic for me.2. If you stay on the 2nd or 3rd floor, be prepared to feel like you’re in the Hitchcock movie, “the birds” . At some point my balcony became overrun with birds and their waste, which made me no longer see the balcony as viable space. The office offers no support in cleaning up the bird waste and states that they are a protected species. I used sprayer bottle filled with water to deter them when it became too much.They will literally build nest on any perch-able space.3. The hallways could use a good power washing annually but that never happened.4. The security gate is rarely secured and to be completely frank, the security gate is useless because you can walk directly into the complex if you park on the streets..Upon moving out, I didn’t get hit with any unexpected charges. So that alone gives the Monterra high marks in my book.I would definitely recommend living here. especially if you work for Apple. It’s literally Across the street.

    I moved to Austin with mixed thoughts for work. Monterra is a sweet little apartment complex with good neighborhood. Just in the middle of market hub. Access to any kind of residential needs near by.Rick from Monterra helped me through out my leasing journey , he was awesome, helpful and very knowledgeable in leasing aspects. I 100% recommends this property for residential experience.

    Monterra is great community to live-in. Its clean, organized, maintenance staff is very quick taking care of requests.I would especially thank leasing consultant Rick for his prompt help when i told him that my child had locked himself in the bedroom. He rushed to my apartment and helped open the door. It goes to show how dedicated Monterra staff is. Thank you!

    I havent had any problems living in this community. It is very quiet and well maintained for the most part. Manager is nice and very responsive. Maintenance responds quickly when there is an issue. My only complaint is that rent is skyrocketing.

    So far, I have enjoyed living at The Monterrra. The only reason why this received 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the structure itself. I can constantly hear my upstairs neighbors. It wouldnt be a big deal if it wasnt all night and so loud it startles myself and my dog. Outside of the apartment, the community is quiet and the neighbors are friendly.

    I recently toured this complex and signed up immediately. Clyde gave us the walk through, hes great at his job, very thorough and an awesome personality. The complex itself has a lot going for it as well, big well designed apartments, excellent amenities and if you have to drive around a lot its in an excellent location, just 8 minutes from the arboretum area, mopac and 35 are straight shots and 183 North has a couple routes you can use to access it. And if you are an apple fan they are right across the street from the apple campus. I highly recommend you visit, seeing it in person is what won me over.

    You all are doing a great job, however; I believe that some things can improve. Remind residents of puppy stations. People are leaving poo on the ground when they are only a few feet from the puppy stations. I also believe that the covered carports are only a way to get more money out of us. There are garages still vacant, if people wanted their car covered, they would lease a garage. The property doesnt look as good with them and I believe that a survey/questionnaire should have gone out prior to you all making the decision to building them. You would have been aware of how the residents felt about that.

    I am very impressed by the amenities, staff, and maintenance at the Monterra. Everything is done in a timely manner, with respect, and quality. I would refer the Monterra to anyone looking for an apartment in the north Austin area.

    Rick in the front office is great, maintenance is usually pretty responsive, downside is gym has been closed for renovation since last year.

    Having lived in this complex for almost 4 years says enough about this place. Great school attached to it, super close to the Domain, and not to mention an inside basketball court!
