    Brain, a man who works on the maintenance team here at the Lola is great! Hes helped with a couple of things in my apartment and it always gets fixed and in a quick amount of time. If you need something fixed ask for Brian! Great work by him always.

    I had the best tour guide of the Lola Apartments today. Dru my outstanding leasing agent took the time to tour 1 and 2 bedrooms completed with plank floor renovations, stainless appliances, views, the gym, the dog park were lovely, and the location is beyond perfect. This apartment is everything my heart desires for the long-distance move. Dru not only took the time to show me the property but helped me understand the nearby restaurants, parks, the lake, and how walkable the area is. Yes, yes, and yessss!

    I have lived here less than a year and so far it has been amazing. Francisco in particular has been great. He is very knowledgeable and is always able to answer any questions I have when I come in, and always has a great attitude. If you are looking for a great place to live with a great location, I highly recommend living here!

    I loved my time at the Lola. Cant beat the location and tucked away in a quaint nook right off all the action. Samantha VanDale is hands down the best community manager Ive ever experienced. Incredible communication and urgency with any need.

    The Lola is such an a great place to call home. This place truly deserves a 5-star rating for numerous reasons. The management team here is top-notch. Theyre always friendly, approachable, and quick to address any concerns. They genuinely care about the residents well-being. Samantha is one of a kind and such a genuine and pleasant soul. The property is beautifully landscaped and meticulously maintained. The community events organized by the management team are a blast. Theyre a great way to meet neighbors and foster a sense of community. The Lola is located off the best street in Austin. Being able to walk down to South Congress is really hard to beat! Ive created lasting memories here, and I couldnt be happier. If youre looking for a friendly, and beautiful place to live, The Lola should definitely be your top choice.

    I recently moved into The Lola apartments and have nothing but great things to say! First off, I want to give a huge shoutout to Alex as he was super accommodating and responsive during the whole move in process. You can tell he truly cares about the tenants as he will go above and beyond.Outside of an awesome staff, the location of the apartments is phenomenal! Quick access to food, drinks, entertainment, and just a short jaunt to downtown.You can’t really tell that the apartments are older as they have all been updated to give a more modern look and feel. They are also very spacious!Overall, I am very impressed and glad that I chose The Lola to call home!

    My roommate and I moved cross country and were so excited to live in The Lola as we had only heard incredible things about the property, location, management staff, and customer service!! Needless to say, after only been here a week or so, our expectations were exceeded. The leasing associates, Miranda and Alex, were extremely welcoming, attentive, and immediately made us feel right at home. We highly recommend this property!

    Dru was fantastic! I appreciated the time and effort he put into assisting me during my search for a new apartment and going above and beyond. This property is stunning. I didnt end up getting an apartment here but this decision was not a reflection on their excellent service or the quality of the property. Drus dedication and professionalism truly stood out.

    The Lola is host to a great property - the apartment was very spacious and recently renovated with luxury finishes. The amenities are very modern, and boast a hybrid of elegance and minimalism. Specifically, the gym has an Equinox feel to it, the business lounge area is relaxing, yet warm, and the pool gives off a resort vibe. In addition, the leasing agents have been extremely helpful when needing some quick fixes in the apartment or to answer any questions! No need to mention this place sits right in the heart of South Congress, which brings with it many attractions - restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and more! Overall happy with this property

    I just moved out of The Lola after living in 2 different apartments there for the last 3 years. Id like to leave a positive / 5-star review for the property. In particular, Alex Morse and Fantasia Baxter made the experience wonderful for us. The location on South Congress is unbeatable, and the units are nicely finished at a reasonable price point when compared to everywhere else in town. Is the landscaping perfect? No. Is the parking garage absolutely awesome? No. Are there various challenges at times? Yes. But overall, if you look at the price youre paying and the location youre living in, tucked back behind trees and up on a hill right on South Congress, you cant beat this property.

    Just moved into The Lola and couldnt be happier (Aug 2021). The management staff, Alex and Christina, are amazing. I just have one question for these two -- where is the cloning device because I swear there have to be multiple Alex and Christina, they cover so much ground and are always available. Both of them work really hard, from high level questions down to helping us get set up in the mail room. I find the staff going out of their way to help, which is helpful especially considering the massive flock of people moving into Austin. They will take care of you.The apartment complex is exactly what we were looking for, a modern apartment with nice amenities on interesting, welcoming grounds. Neighbors seem respectful and friendly. Looking forward to our stay!

    Maintenance is very good - Bryan is a really nice guy that always helps out when I have an issue and gets it fixed immediately. He is always very courteous and respectful when he enters my apartment.

    I’ve lived at The Lola for a year now and would absolutely recommend renting here. Alex is a really fantastic manager and has been very understanding and helpful through various situations. The rooms are really spacious in the apartments and have really nice appliances. The pool is gorgeous and the gym looks like an Equinox. It’s in an amazing location in the city and super walkable to a bunch of great restaurants and stores. Thank you again Alex for being super awesome.

    I have been living at the Lola for a year now and there has been a lot of changes in office staff including management. I must say I’m very pleased with the current staff, finally a quick responsive staff. The new assistant manager Christina personally introduced herself and has been very helpful through my renewal process. We love south congress and location really is the best!!

    I moved to Austin 5 months ago and could not have picked a better location to kick off my life here! South Congress and the Lola is the place to be! The facilities are great and so is the staff. Alex is always available to help in the Leasing Office. Whenever Ive had a maintenance request, Mannuel is on it ASAP and always with a smile! Super convenient to put in the maintenance requests on your portal which is great!

    LOCATION. LOCATION. LOCATION.Location is what attracted me to the Lola Apartments. After 3 plus years I’m still here. Five blocks from my work, close to the grocery store and dry cleaners. Walking distance to many great restaurants, shopping and live music venues.During the recent power outages and bitterly cold temperatures management went above and beyond my expectations. Buses were brought in allowing renters to charge cell phones and get warmed up. For those of us fortunate enough to go and stay with friends who had electricity, management would go by and check our apartments to make sure things were ok (very reassuring).I am very pleased with current management and its maintenance staff. Alex makes it a point to know WHO you are and HOW you are. The Lola just works for me. It’s all about the LOCATION.

    Just moved in to the Lola recently and the process was made so much easier because of Alex and Christi. They helped out a ton with questions while I was looking for apartments remotely and really made me feel like I knew the complex before moving out to Austin. Once I got here they helped me out with everything I needed to access what the Lola has to offer. Really glad I moved here!

    Really amazing apartment complex with great amenities in the heart of South Congress. Very clean, management is AMAZING (especially Alex who was incredibly professional/helpful and VERY accommodating - probably the best experience Ive had interacting with an apartment manager and he went above and beyond to help with my needs, so thank you Alex!!!), noise isnt too bad, and parking is fine (my visitors are always able to park here overnight with no issues). Thank you!

    This place is beautiful. I don’t want to leave a 5 star review because it will attract more people to this forest hideaway in downtown Austin. Great pool and gym. Close to the hike and bike trail, auditorium shores, and great people watching all of the tourists that try to dress the like rock stars on South Congress. Alex and staff in the leasing office are extremely responsive and great to work with.

    Just helped my daughter and her boyfriend move into The Lola. Very nice apartment. The rooms are big and the kitchen appliances look new. Impressive amenities as well. Alex and Christie were especially helpful with the move in process.

    I have just renewed my lease and have read a few of the recent reviews on here and am surprised to have such a different experience overall. Here are a few things that stand out to me:1. Location: This really speaks for itself as you are a 20 minute walk from downtown. Traffic can be a pain but being in the heart of SoCo cant be beat.2. The complex: I think the layout is beautiful, and the pool is one of my favorite places to be in the summer. The grills are great and it is well maintained. The gym is a little small but certainly workable, and the laundry rooms could use another machine but they are in great condition.3. Parking: In the past year of living here I have only had to park far from my apartment twice. There is plenty of parking for guests and residents, and you do not have to pay a monthly fee.4. The apartments/rent: While they are a little older of a model, I love my 2x2 apartment! I kind of like the more classic look and have had no issues with appliances. Maintenance is prompt, friendly, and respectful. The rent is some of the most competitive on SoCo given the proximity to downtown. I hope that as rent increases, Roscoe will update the apartments accordingly.5. Staff/Management: Everyone that works here is extremely friendly and will say hi as they pass you. Even if I didnt put in a work order, the guys are willing to help with minor fixes on the fly.As for management, Jennifer Fargo has been a huge help as I worked on renewing my lease. I know she is very busy, but I always felt like she was fine with me dropping in and would be treated as a priority. She worked with my situation and genuinely seemed to care. I dont think it is fair to call someone out on a public-facing review without any context as another reviewer has done.TL;DRTake these reviews with a grain of salt and check the place out for yourself. You will not be in the newest apartments in the area, but you will be paying a lot less and live in a great spot.

    Highly recommend. Super dog friendly. The people in the front office are really nice and are always trying to help. Bryan on the maintenance team is really respectful both times he had to come in he left the place clean like he was never there.

    It’s been a bit of a wild ride living here for just over a year now. From weathering the great Austin ice storm of 2021 to the endless construction at all hours of the day. BUT we are now seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.Lots of changes, almost all positive. Renovations and amenity promises have finally come to fruition. The new paradigm of South Congress has really formed around this place so needless to say it is a phenomenal spot to call home at this particular time. Foot traffic can get pretty intense, but I mean, you have a store for just about every athletic apparel brand right at your door step. Not to mention the millions of cafes and tasty restaurants surrounding the property. It’s to be expected and something you’ll get over.We have been back and forth on renewing but there really isn’t anything comparable on the market right now at the price. Does my unit have the best finishing? No shot. But it will do. Location is everything.Thanks to Christina for help through the renewal and the rest of the property management staff. You guys have really stepped up your game since recent changes.Now… let’s wrap up those repairs from the storm.

    The Lola is in a great location (near all the fun Austin stuff like Barton, Deep Eddy, Zilker) + tons of great food spots nearby. The apartments are surrounded by a greenbelt so theres not much noise from foot/car traffic. Alex and Cristina are a pleasure to work with. They made my leasing and move-in process as smooth as possible and handle my concerns quickly!

We were able to get in contact with Alex and it has been a great experience from the first visit to the actual move in! The location is amazing and right in the heart of SoCo.     Initially, dealing with the old Roscoe (RPM Living) management was a nightmare. I feel like everyone who has lived in Austin for a while knows to avoid Roscoe properties like the plague, but I went for it for this amazing location. I ended up not having A/C for 3 months and the people in the office would straight up ghost me when I called or went by. BUT NOW Greystar has taken over management and everything is great. They have gone out of their way to improve and clean up the community that RPM let fall into disrepair. Its a really nice place to live now and you cant beat the location in South Austin

    I used to live here a few years ago and I really enjoyed it. One of the only complexes you’ll find with a big jacuzzi in central Austin!Recently I had to call the front office and ask for an old copy of my lease for tax purposes.I was kind of nervous because I didn’t think they would spend time to help me out considering that I was no longer a resident.BUT, to my delight the gal I spoke to (Cristina de la Garza) took 20 minutes out of her day to find me the documents I needed and email them to me. Saved my life.The staff here are highly supportive and go above and beyond to help! They’re the best

    The Lola is a beautiful community! It is well kept inside and out.The staff is caring, genuine, attentive and eager to make the experience exceptional! You can tell the whole staff takes pride in what they do as they each seek to serve and better the community. The grounds and parking garage is clean! The location is right on SOCO with plenty of great eating spots. Its a great place to call home!

    I have lived her for half a year and every time I interact with the leasing staff they are so sweet! I lost my key and they had it recut and replaced in under 10 min! They were so understanding and sweet and were even sweet to my very sassy and reactive dog. Recommend!

    Statehouse is 100% location, location, location.If you arent going to utilize the proximity to dining, shopping, downtown, Barton springs, etc... then you can find nicer units for cheaper further away.However, if you are going to use the location its a good compromise. The units are dated but clean, floor plans arent ideal but they work. The staff is friendly and attentive to any work-orders you may have.I think its a great place to be if youre new to Austin and want to really get the full experience.
