Keisha Derwin and James are amazing. We drove all the way from Maryland and me and my family were exhausted and had an issue that we needed for solving and the management team took care of us immediately. I am very pleased with the customer service and being the fact that I’ve been in sales for over 20 years. Customer service is very big on my list and they crossed every T and dotted every i. I would highly recommend this apartment complex, and the management staff to anyone making or looking for an easy transition to Texas life. Aloha!!!!

I visited for information on 2 bedroom apartments, I was welcomed in by Mervin who was super friendly and passionate about the property. He gave me a tour of the property and the 2BR which he explained were recently renovated which are very nice!I’ve been shopping around and Mervin was by far the friendliest agent that I’ve come across. He provided me all options and made me feel confident that this will be my next apartment which is in a few months as my plans have shifted. he’s also great at checking in and letting me know current promotions.Mervin is an asset to this complex.Thanks!-Robert

Violet was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to walk me through all the amenities and answer my questions. The apartments themselves are stunning, with modern features and a welcoming atmosphere. Though I haven’t moved in yet, I’m confident The Legend will be a great place to call home, and I truly appreciate Violet’s professionalism throughout the process.

Needed a 3 month lease on short notice. Marvin was great!He was able to get an apartment cleaned up and ready to go for me to move in in one day. Its not the nicest area of town, but the traffic isnt near as bad as some areas I was looking. The renovations are really nice and its been quiet with polite neighbors.

This is my first time renting an apartment and Mervin was so helpful and patient with all my questions. He gave us a tour and explained how all the amenities worked like mail room and how to submit a maintenance request when needed. All my maintenance requests have been fulfilled in a timely manner. Trevor has also been super helpful with all my concerns and questions every time I call. They all are super friendly and helpful when you need them.

I dont know how anyone can give lower than a 5 star. The way they handled our lease, documents and apartment were and still are, very professional. They definitely work very hard! Mervin Hayner handled our lease with precision, prompness and he is the sweetest person! He gave me everything I asked for and we are still waiting on a deal for a ring doorbell or rent discount. I cant wait for future offers and opportunity. The other agents were also very attentive and multi tasking in everything. I never seen an office so calm, collected and busy. He was so helpful in showing us the newly renovated apartment units. He helped us determine which would be a good fit for us and the prices as well as the many resources to use while living here to pay for rent and the amenities they offer. Trevor is so cool and down to earth Im so glad he made our move in process easy. We ended up getting our 2 bedroom 2 bath 1st floor we wanted for our family and kids. I wanted to share my experience with The Legend. I came tour and the first thing was how friendly and inviting the whole office people were, everyone came out and asked how I was and if I liked the apartment. Lucy was so kind and patient but the one thing that really just made me fall in love with the apartment was the Manager Jessica. I had my kids with me and the process takes awhile kids dont like to sit still. The manager Jessica came out of her office grabbed some goldfish and juice and asked if the kids could have them, she then turned on cartoons in the other room and they were so happy. Ive never felt more welcomed then I did right at that moment. I knew this was the place for me. I watched how she talked to her staff and the whole environment was nothing like the other places I had been to. If you are wanting to live in a place that really cares and makes you feel welcomed, loved and excited to have you COME MOVE IN HERE! They are so amazing you wont find better

I have lived here for almost two months now.So far, life in this apartment has been great.My experience working with Mervin, specifically, has been excellent.Mervin took the time to explain everything thoroughly during my tour and through the application process.After I submitted my application, I became dismayed thinking I would not be approved because my gross pay was maybe 20 dollars shy of meeting the 3x income requirement. Mervin reached out to me personally to let me know that I did in fact qualify, and was approved.He listened to my only specifications for an apartment; I needed a two bedroom on the floor level (I have kids, they have noisy feet!) and found one that had a couple of months wait, which was perfect for me.Upon move in, Mervin reiterated that he is available for any questions or concerns. Since then, I have e-mailed him with any questions or anything that has come up, and he always responds quicker than I expect.Are the fees a little high at this community? Yes.Are there some systematic kinks to work out? Sometimes.But the management has proven to me (so far!) that they value my input and any of my complaints or worries.I will try to update my review at the 6 month mark of living here.But as for now, I highly recommend this apartment community, especially given the location.

If you’re looking into getting a place here, I definitely recommend getting with Trevor as he has great customer service and expertise.

I have lived here for a year now so heres my review of the property, management, and the apartment itself. The beginning for the apartment was rocky, I had to call maintenance for the shower, the AC and dishwasher. They came quick though. Everything got done within a week. After that, everythings been great and I havent had anymore problems inside my apartment. Management has always been super awesome and helpful. I have got to talk to all of them at least once. Robert is the one that helped me with my lease and anything else Ive ever needed help with so hes the coolest one in my book. As for the property, they do well to empty out the trash and recycling before it gets out of the dumpster. Sometimes it does overflow but they cant control how much people throw out. As for around, Ive walked around a few times and there is some very light trash sometimes but nothing to make you think you are living is a dump. As for the amenities, the pool is always clean from what Ive seen. I personally havent used it. The gym however I have used. Its a little small so there isnt too much and some of the equipment is a little wonky but its there. If thats a big thing for you well there ya go. As for the people that live here, everyone I have interacted with was very kind. I even had a package sent to the wrong door and they returned it to me unopened. I did have some downstairs neighbors that would just send random complaints to me like dog poop on the patio (which I dont own a dog and Im on the third floor) but they moved out so its all good again. Overall, great place and great people for a great price. I do recommend that if you have joint problems to live on the first floor as there are no elevators. Hope my review helps.Edit: For an update after the snowstorm on how they handled it, they handled it well. They sent emails and texts constantly instructing what to do to get the best out of the situation and informed us of resources around us with contact info. They also have been working hard to fix everything that the storm may have broke. They do inform you about 3-4 days in advance before doing repairs. Overall, they handled it very professionally and am still very happy living here.

Living here for about 2 years … they just got new management and 5Stars for them. They are trying to make the apt a better place and it’s looking great so far.. and if you need any type of maintenance they are ON IT . I didn’t rate 5 stars because at night we can NEVER find parking . The parking lot is always full and we have to walk with our younger children from a far away parking space. It’s annoying, overall, they added some new stuff in our apt since living here and we like it

It’s a nice place to stay they fix things when you put in a request and they let you know when they are coming if you want and they leave a note if you not there letting you know they fixed the issue. The apartment is big enough and has plenty of closet & cabinet space. Overall I liked staying there but didn’t like being on a 3rd floor apartment & having to walk up all those stairs with bags or furniture moving out was crazy hard work. But there was a cabinet bug problem I had to keep my flour products in the fridge never could figure out how to get rid of them. No more issues since I moved.

I recently just moved out of Polo Club and overall I had a good experience in my 1 year there. The apartments are clean and well maintained, and if there are any issues maintenance will handle it in a timely manner. For the price you pay, you really can’t beat it for the same level of quality. The only thing I did not enjoy was the location of these apartments. Marbach is not the best neighborhood and it is part of the reason I moved elsewhere. The community inside the gates however is nice and I was lucky to have such kind neighbors. Polo Club was my first apartment in San Antonio, and overall my experience here was pleasant.

I have lived here for a year and 7 months. I decided to move to another apartment closer to my work, but had the most traumatic experience in doing so. The new apartment was so unkempt and not in good living condition. At the last minute, I decided to move back here into Polo Club and just wait for a larger apartment. The staff was so friendly about me having to cancel my move out notice. I honestly don’t know why I even tried moving from here. They really do take very good care of their residents. They have extremely fast maintenance repair calls when needed, as well as a follow up phone call to make sure everything was indeed fixed! They have even come and just simply replaced light bulbs when I didn’t know how to change them on that particular fixture, and he even brought an AC filter to change just in case! They come and steam clean the carpet every time you renew your lease, which is so helpful when you are a single mom of all boys! They provide nice holiday incentives to encourage people to decorate their balconies, which I enjoy seeing! The pool is very well maintained as well. The people in the office are ALWAYS so polite and smiling. As far as the bad reviews, yes there can be trash at times, but that is not even their responsibility, and you will have that just about anywhere! They do a good job of requiring cleanliness outside our apartments, but ultimately it’s up to us to be good tenants as well and keep our area clean. This is no fault of management. There are times I can hear the neighbors next door, but this is an apartment complex, not a house. Some noise is to expected, and it’s not intolerable.Since returning back to Polo Club, my teenage boys have told me they are so happy to be back home, because the other one just never felt like home. I totally agree!! I highly recommend this place, and hope this review is found helpful!

Weve lived here for a little over 2 years and plan to stick around for a while. I think our rent is priced pretty well. The handful of times weve requested maintenance it was for simple fixes that were taken care of quickly. Office staff has always been polite and responded quickly to any questions weve had. Security currently patrols at night.

Ive officially been approved and am just waiting to move in. I got to work with Kaylee who really did make the process feel seemless and easy. It was my first time applying alone so of course I was nervous and had tons of questions, she was there to answer them and was quick to respond as well. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Recently moved out of formerly known as Polo Club ( Known as The Legend) Maintenance is prompt and professional. The Managing Team on behalf of Legend has been amazing with the moving out process and highly communicative, I did not expect such a good experience upon leaving or much less receiving my refund back from originally moving in 2015, I never experienced a break in, just irritating noisy neighbor that blasted his music through the walls and speakers. But outside of that, the safest most respectable place you will reside on Marbach. They really do seem to care, just treat them with respect and they will do the same.

It is very well kept by a dedicated staff of maintenance personnel! The front office personnel are quick and efficient! I placed a maint request and it was handled promptly! Mechanical issues with the gates are fixed promptly. The fact that they have an active courtesy officer is a plus ! The pool area is beautiful and well kept !

Dont know what to say about previous reviews. I will say the year I spent at Polo Club was great. The office staff was very responsive to any concerns, their maintenance staff was also top notch and fast to respond to any requests. As a whole Id recommend Polo Club to anyone. We communicated directly to our neighbors and established rapport which gave all of us added peace, security and friendships. I will admit that yes, their were car break ins and some theft, but the majority of responsibility rests on the owners and how well they adjust their own security to living in an apartment environment thats close by to shopping and major traffic routes. Regarding trash, yep theirs been many times I saw trash, but its the dwellers who dont use the receptacles properly. It seems a lot of times they throw items that should be brought to a landfill, and leave it to the maintenance people to pick up and correct daily. Thats not Managements, or Maintenance or Grounds keepers faults. Its the faults of some of the individuals residing there. We kept our home immaculate there, and had zero bugs of any kind (even when moving in). If your a loud family, expect to be notified. Thats straight, simple and expected. If you smoke in the apartments or burn incense, expect a ionization bill upon move out. We received our move out checklist and accomplished everything on the list which makes turnaround for staff easier. And YES, its the residence job to make sure its clean upon moveout. Regarding any damage of items, well we werent perfect but they were honest with their assessment and we have no complaints at all (some things break). So while my review is stellar, its because we as renters, were aware of OUR responsibilities, and didnt relay on anyone else to do what we were supposed to be doing in the first place. In ending, Great Management, Great Staff all around.

I lived here for 2 years + and went to work at Lackland AFB. The apartments are a short drive from base. The rent is very affordable, the office staff was very friendly, fast, and professional although you could tell they were busy especially on rent days id say they handled it very well. I really liked my apartment for the price/location/overall.The apartment was clean, the AC worked amazing all year, it went out once but the same night i called the maintenance guy he said he could install a new one the next day but offered to hand carry a portable one up to my apartment just for the night! I told him i could wait one night lol. I never had problems with bugs in my apartment i lived on the 3rd floor. Apartments spray i think monthly and would spray again if you just asked i never had to ask though.There has been some minor crime like some tires stolen but that happens all over San Antonio apartments not just here. The place is comprised with mostly families, children, and military. I never had any problems, i dont think there are any better apartments for the price they offer in the area. I moved from SA or id still be living here, the other apartments i visited either straight up lied to me, too far from work, or were way overpriced, where i might as well have gotten a house. You wont find a better overall package in the area without making sacrifices from your wallet or your safety honestly.
