    NEW MANAGEMENT (new review):After new management came in and took over, everything has been running smoothly. They’re updating everything! The gates gonna be up and running soon, there’s new systems to track who comes in and out of here etc,Sandy has been amazing. She’s been understanding and helpful since I met her on day one. She really cares for the residents in the community, she’s always communicating back and fourth and she strives to do her absolute best with any situation. I renewed my lease since she took over.PS: the photos are from my old apartment, when I transferred to a new one it was perfect and everything I asked and/or had issues about it was addressed immediately!

    Older property but has had some really great improvements recently. Good place to get started. The outdoor kitchen area is a great place for get togethers. The exterior of the units were recently painted and the dog walking area is convenient

    I recently moved in the Catalina Apartments in September, and so far it has been great! The employees at the leasing office are always willing to help with any issues or questions with the apartments! My toilet started to not flush so I walked over to the leasing office and let them know! They ended up coming that same day to fix the issue! My doggies were not a problem at all either! Before I moved in, they helped me figure out everything I needed to know about, toured the apartments, and moved me in all very quickly! I would definitely recommend anyone I know to move into the Catalina Apartments!

    My lease is ending at the end of the month. Im choosing not to renew not because of the apt or the staff. Moving closer to friends and family. Though I was shown a different floor plan before moving in the staff more than made up for it with compensation in other areas. Ive never had a problem at my apt. Other than a small leak on my water heater that was fixed the same day and fixed quickly. Never had any pest problems, all my neighbors are very friendly and have that look out for one another mindsets. If my friends lived closer I wouldve definitely renewed my lease. If youre looking for a quiet, friendly community at a reasonable price I would suggest leasing here. Just be sure to double check that they give you the right floor plan beforehand.

    Just wrapped up my tour at this beautiful property! I appreciated how clean and well kept the grounds were and the model was gorgeous! The manager, Sandy, was very knowledgable of the area as well as the property. I look forward to making this my home come June!

    I have around 3 months living in these apartments and so far I am impressed. I recently reported my heater was not working and that same day the maintenance guy ( Enrique) came and fixed it. He was super nice as well. Highly recommend.

    We have lived in this apartments since 2015 and there has been a lot of issues with management and my apartment until recently with the new manager Monica and the new maintenance staff also Samantha is very nice and helps out a lot. We are really happy now and Monica definitely deserves recognition and apprecation for all the hard work she has been doing.

    If I could give more stars I would. In the 7years I have lived in this complex I never wrote a review before because the past management have been unprofessional, rude and plainly did not give a hoot about their tenants. Luisa the asst mgr now has been by far the most amazing part of management, her professionalism, her empathy speaks volumes.. We need more caring individuals like her in this world. She goes above and beyond to help in any possible way she can. Thank you Luisa and I really hope your here to stay.....

    Luisa Stickler is the reason for the 5 stars. She has bent over backwards to make sure my questions are answered and I feel heard. Move in day did not go as planned (my plan because I did not receive the call the day before to let me know what the process was) but Luisa went above and beyond to help in any way she could. The apartment is not up to par but I have faith that the service orders I put in this morning will be handled quickly and efficiently. I will update once resolved.

    I have lived here for about a month now, and I have almost entirely positive things to say about it. Any negatives are not the fault of the complex, they are just minor annoyances such as loud upstairs neighbors (nothing anyone cant get used to).The move in process was made so seamless by Lucy, who may genuinely be one of the nicest people I have ever met. She was so accommodating when there was a hiccup in my signing up with an electric company, opting not to charge me a fee that the complex was certainly within its rights to charge me.Compared to the last apartment complex I lived in, this complex is an improvement 100 fold.

    My boyfriend and I have lived here for about five months. Originally, we were supposed to move in the first week of January. We drove all the way to the complex from weatherford, with all of our belongings and pets, only to be turned away because our apartment “wasn’t ready” to move in to yet. We were told that nobody had even walked through the apartment to see what was needed to get it ready. Since then, I believe management and employees have changed (I have seen different faces every time I go into the office). Since our changed move in date, we have dealt with our a/c breaking down, our washer filling up with water and not draining, and roaches by the dozen. I will say, maintenance is very friendly and they get the job done when they arrive. However, I have asked about three times for our apartment to be sprayed for roaches, and each time, we are ignored, yet charged on our bills for pest control. The roach problem is out of hand, and honestly the worst out of all the places I’ve lived in. The people who live here rush through the parking lot like they’re the only drivers in the world. Some of the more noisy and fast drivers set off car alarms on a daily AND nightly basis. It is a constant thing to hear these car alarms go off. The shower head is very low (I am 5’6” and have to squat to wash my hair) and doesn’t really have great water pressure. I will say, the apartment we got looked pretty much exactly like the model room, which was a first for me. The people who work in the office now seem to be friendly and efficient. I would say the only problems we have now are the roaches and the car alarms. Catalina looks nicer than other places I have lived, but they still have some room for improvement.UPDATE: They finally came to spray the apartment and I have yet to see another cockroach. Also, whoever was driving around making the car alarms go off doesn’t seem to live here anymore. It’s been months since I’ve heard one go off. The office staff is still friendly and they seem to be keeping around the same staff as opposed to getting floaters to work for the office. I changed my three star review to a four star because of these improvements.

Any questions or concerns you have will get resolved as soon and as quickly as possible. I’d like to give some recommendation to Monica for the outstanding customer service she provides.     Catalina is located in a great area, with great amenities and ever better office staff! Samantha is by far the best person theyve had in the office for a long time!     I just recently acquired employment in the Lewisville area and I had the pleasure to come and tour the apartments and was helped by a very nice gentleman named Emmanuel. He was very friendly over the phone and very helpful and was able to find me the perfect apartment for my price range! It was a pleasure having him as a leasing agent and I can’t wait to move in!

    I am literally going to say I love living here!!! This has nothing to do with my apartment but I have seen a great change in this place after Daniel became the manager! I have seen this man picking up trash moving outdoor furniture! Yesterday I seen this man taken away in a ambulance and came in this morning to see how he was to find him back at work when was told not to by doctors. I dont know about any of you but dedication. I will renew as long as he stays here any takes care of us.

    Catalina Apts are quiet and well kept. Was a bit disappointed to find that the previous manager Monica is no longer here but dealing with Luisa Stickler..is just as good. I hadnt intended on signing another lease but Luisa made it so easy. My third lease now.     I have been at these apartments going on 2 years and I love it. Everytime I have a problem maintenace wise or any problem it is always solved promtly.     I recommend them. The new Assistant Manager Elda, is very kind and cordial, looks for solutions for you. The apartments are close to good schools if you have children. And they are very calm.
