Been living here about a year. The best neighborhood in Austin and the staff makes it easy to enjoy. Katy rocks in management. Mike and Jac are also super kind and responsive. Tony who leads maintenance is a legend. So friendly and goes way above and beyond to make sure there’s nothing left to fix before he leaves. Really great guy and super knowledgeable about all aspects of home care and maintenance. And Tony has great stories from when he was a pro athlete too.

She is very knowledgeable and is always able to answer any questions I have when I come in, and always has a great attitude. I love my unit here, and the pool is incredible! I really enjoy meeting my neighbors, everyone is super friendly here!Katy the assistant property manager here is awesome! I had issues with the postal service forwarding my mail after moving units, and she was super helpful with pointing me in the right direction. She really cares about the property and the residents, and goes above and beyond for anyone who meets her.Jac helped me with my first and second lease here, and was so communicative throughout the process and made it as simple as it could be, given I’m self-employed and that can always be a pain 😅 His suggestions helped me know exactly what I needed, and I’m on my second apartment here at The Arnold!

Like any apartment complex, it has its pros and cons, but what truly sets The Arnold apart is how those cons are resolved—thanks to Katy. She is incredibly dedicated and always goes above and beyond to ensure residents are taken care of. Her hard work and commitment have made a huge difference in my experience here.The Arnold has everything I need to feel comfortable and happy, and with Katy’s help, any issues are addressed quickly and effectively. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else in Austin and being as happy as I am here. That’s why I’m giving The Arnold a well-deserved 5-star rating!

I have lived at the Arnold for over five years and have always received terrific service from Assistant Manager Katy Baffi. If I didnt have her Im not sure I would have stayed as long as I have! I also recommend this place for the neighborhood and the building is always safe.

Amazing location with all the amenities you could ask for: pool, rooftop, common TV 📺 area, shuffleboard, gym 💪, beautiful apartments and plenty of restaurants 🥘 and bars 🍸 🍻 nearby.Renee was my go to person, but the whole staff has been helpful and kind. They also work their asses off! They are often in the office well past closing! Again, I cannot say enough about Renee.The biggest pain in the but with this place was the paper 📝 work! There are so many thing to sign and so many damn Ts to cross.But once that is all over... let the good times and great 👍🏻 location kick in! So stoked to be here!

Stayed at The Arnold for two years! Awesome staff. No commotion. And had no issues living in a unit facing the street! Great amenities and gym. Very walkable neighborhood with lots of places to grab a bite or hang out. Target/whole foods down the street. Can walk or scooter downtown if you need. Safe. Good energy around east 6th street in general. Nice high ceilings. Would definitely recommend if you like walking!

I have lived here since the Arnold opened. Staff is great, especially Katy B, who helped me switch/upgrade apartments three times. It doesnt feel corporate at all. The location is good if you like the East side; lots of breweries and restaurants. Not a cheap neighborhood though. Downsides: residents are very inconsiderate about cleaning up after their pets, and the pool can be a little frat party-like at times. But I can live with that.

Great stay here. Easy access even without a lobby to help you. Only complaint is its a long walk to the room with luggage. Only complaint about room are the floor planks are not properly stuck to the floor and they make weird noise when you walk on them. But I do love that the room has a record player and records for a relaxing evening.

We have lived at the Arnold for almost 2 years now, and it has been an amazing experience. The location is the absolute best on the east side of Austin - everything is walking distance and you could probably live here without a car if you wanted to. Bars, restaurants, Target, HEB, even the river path, are all close by. I would also give 10/10 to the leasing team and maintenance staff if I could - I have never felt more supported by a leasing team in any apartment complex Ive ever lived in. They are super nice and approachable, they put on fun events for the complex, and maintenance requests typically get resolved within 24 hours. We missed our first rent payment because we forgot to turn on the autopay, and they reversed the overdue fee for us no problem - shout out to Katy and Jac!The living experience at the Arnold has been great as well - the building is loaded with people in their 20s and 30s, a very active and friendly community. The rooms are modern and updated, and make you feel right at home while still feeling like youre a part of the city. Our apartment faces 6th Street, and while its very loud on Friday/Saturday nights, this is something we knew we were signing up for - its fun to sit on the balcony and people watch on nights when youre not out and about! We have some friends that live on the other side of the building (facing 5th street) and its very quiet - so this building has the best of both worlds. We were also pleasantly surprised to find 2 sinks in our 1BR unit - not sure if all units have this, but it was a FANTASTIC perk!Where the Arnold falls short, and where it loses a star here, is overall upkeep of the property. While the gym is fantastic, machines are frequently broken and take several weeks to get repaired (particularly the cable machines - lat pulldown and leg machines were broken for a month in Dec 23/Jan 24, then tricep pulldowns broke shortly after). The gym is one of my favorite perks of the Arnold so its sad to see it degrading. The stairwells are pretty gross and dirty. And oh boy, the dog poop... the Arnold has a LOT of dog owners, and while most seem responsible, theres often dog poop in the community spaces such as the rooftop and stairwells, and also the sidewalks all around the property. The garage mirror (that helps you see people on the sidewalk as youre pulling out on to the street) is broken almost every week (I suggest moving the mirror to the ceiling of the garage instead of the street so drunk people stop smashing it). But aside from the gym, overall this doesnt really affect our day-to-day, so only 1 star off from an otherwise perfect experience at the Arnold.

I’ve definitely enjoyed living at the Arnold! Big shout out to Jac, one of the leasing consultants for always being quick at responding and resolving issues. Maintenance team is very friendly and the pool is nice. Great location too. The only downsides are dog poop everywhere outside and I’ve had packages stolen several times. Overall a great place to live!

Great location! The pool is great and the gym is pretty impressive for an apartment complex gym. There is a huge clubroom/kitchen that can be used for parties.Management had seemed pretty bad at upkeep of the property and gave a lot of empty promises about things they wanted to do to make the Arnold better. Ownership changed recently and things have been a little better lately. Dog park was recently upgraded and valet trash services installed.To be honest, I probably never would have signed a lease here, but one of the leasing agents (Katy) was so easy to work with, it just kinda happened. I told her what I was looking for and she knew the perfect apartment for me. She has always been the rockstar in the office. Always friendly, genuine and doesnt seem fake (like most). Always willing to go out of her way to get something done for me (pick up a package, expedite a service issue, turn off a fire alarm). She really seems to care that residents are happy and comfortable here. I wish that everyone on staff had the same level of attention to detail and actually served the people in the building instead of (it seems) just doing enough to appease management.

Living at the Arnold is great for location and has a large pool that can handle a lot of people. Its hot in Austin so the pool is clutch.We lived at the Arnold for 4 years and our original manager Tayler is a big reason why we continued to stay. Even though she was promoted she still took care of us. In a world where customer service has really started to dip its refreshing to have someone like her make living at the Arnold a wonderful experience.We bought a place and just moved out and she was great until the end. If youre Greystar corporate reading this I highly recommend making sure she is a part of your manager team training on how to handle residents and not treat them like a number.Thanks Tayler!!

Ive been living at The Arnold over 2 years now and overall I have been very happy with my experience. Ive always have felt a sense of community here, meeting all the neighbors as Ive walked my pup around the block. The tenants are so friendly. The 2 apartment units Ive lived in have had close to zero issues, theyve been extremely spacious and a beautiful space to host my friends. My only complaint would be the dog park needs to be cleaned more of dog droppings and possibly re-modeled to deal with it constantly being muddy. I feel like you can barely call it a dog park if I cant even feel comfortable taking my dog there without worrying about her getting dirty or catching something. I also want to give the leasing office employee, Katy, a shout out. Over the past few years she has been nothing but an absolute help to me. Any time I have had any questions about my payments, or about my unit she has been extremely quick to answer and has provided so much help. Because of her Ive felt like the Arnold truly cares about my experience in the community. Shes always has treated me with so much respect and kindness, which has made me feel welcomed and a part of the Arnold community.

We had the best experience. My room mate and I both moved from another city and locked down an apartment 2 months before move-in. Katy, who showed us around was very energetic and knowledgeable about the property and the area. She basically told us why to move in to this area and she was very convincing.The fact that she lives in the building is a big plus. Whenever something happens, she our go-to person.I travel a lot and I appreciate that she knows my first name.Although the apartment has some flaws, the leasing team makes worth your while to rent an apartment here

I lived at the Arnold from late 2017 - July 2021. I loved the building and the management was always helpful, especially Katy Baffi, who always went above and beyond to resolve any issues I or my neighbors had. I don’t usually call out individuals, but she really stood out amongst the rest because of how much she cared about the residents’ well-being. Plus, the location is unbeatable and it really gave me a wonderful taste of Austin since I was so close to downtown.

I own Couture Color Studio on the street level of the Arnold and I just signed my 4th lease agreement thank you to Lisa , the new operating manager in the office! She went above and beyond any expectations I could have wanted. Her energy was kind, authentic and she is a gem to work with. The entire staff, especially Katie (who has been on location for over 6 years) and the maintenance team with Ceaser (also for over 6 years) leading them have been absolutely a dream. I decided to start my business in the Arnold over two years ago after having lived in one of the units for almost a year and a half and I’m so incredibly happy I did! I loved living here and you will too! I look forward to doing business with them for years to come! Thank you to all the Arnold team for always stepping up!

I just moved into the property back in October and everything has honestly been great! The new management is stepping up their tech game which is exciting! Havent used amenities because of covid but theyre well taken care of. Walls are thick and ceilings tall, which is perfect because I dont hear any neighbors. I had been eyeing this property since 2019 and glad I could finally sign a lease here.Management communicates well with the residents and every maintenance request has been taken care of super quickly! I would definitely recommend checking it out, the building is great and the location is perfect and very safe, havent had or heard of any petty theft or missing packages! Same with the parking garage, residents need access so no one whos not a resident cant access.The only reason Im giving it 4/5 stars is for the lack of tech in certain things that I had in my last apartment, but seems like theyre working on getting this better!

I’ve lived here for 2+ years. You can’t beat the location in East Austin and the gym, pool, and roof are great amenities. Katy is our favorite person in the office - she has been here since we moved in and is always helpful, thorough, and cheery to work with. She’s always the first to respond to emails and work with us through any issues.

The property has its up and downs just like any other property. It’s in a great location but it comes with a pretty hefty price tag. There has been a transition in property management, and lately communication, repairs and general cleaning has below average. However, with changes in personnel and staff shortages some could argue this is expected during a transition period, and I remain hopeful that the standards will pick up. None the less, the staff in the leasing office are very helpful. Katy particularly does an excellent job and is diligent at responding to our questions and needs.

The apartments are really nice and there are so many amenities! Check this place out while looking for a place to live you wont be disappointed.

Stayed here for five days using an AirB&B. Layout of the building is not the easier to get around. Its an H shaped layout for the hallways. The rooms are very nice. I didnt use the pool but it looked nice. The roof top community area really puts this place into the great stay territory. They have a nice grilling area and gas fireplaces.

This month I had to relocate for work from Austin to the Bay Area. The hardest part about relocating was leaving my home at The Arnold. I was fortunate to move in when construction had completed a few years back. Katy Baffi (now the Assistant Community Manager and WELL DESERVED) makes this apartment complex a home and is the cornerstone of this community! Her tireless work ethic is evident through the evening walk throughs during the never ending fire alarms (new residents dont fear - this was in the early years while construction on the restaurants and shops was still on going), her attention to detail with all of the residents, and the well organized community events. During our transition from a Lincoln property to a Greystar property her unwavering passion and advocacy for her residents was abundantly clear. I know (personally) her presences and leadership in the office set our minds at ease. Ive had the ability to live in a few different luxury properties in Austin; and while The Arnold has a fantastic location, it was always the staff that made the community exemplary. I think I can safely say its Katys commitment that separates The Arnold from the thousand other communities available in the city. Thank you Katy for everything over the past many years! Hopefully, youll never have to rescue another resident from their balcony on move-in day!

The Arnold is definitely comfortable. I moved from Oklahoma with zero plans. I’m 41 and life has changed dramatically in less than a year so I decided to move. I chose Austin for the creative environment I knew I’d flourish in as well as living right on 6 th. Like right there. It feels like I’ve gone out and enjoyed the night life even if I sit at home just having the door open feels like your in a venue. All the tenants are real people and I love it here. Never thought after living in the country in a house I owned would I think I’d like renting apartment in the city but it fits just right

I love living at the Arnold! I had been looking for something cozy downtown, and I could not be happier to have stumbled upon this community. The staff is super friendly, and they’re always available in the office to answer my dumb questions lol. They even have treats for my dog! Everybody in this community is dog friendly, which I really appreciate. Plus it’s close to all the action. If you’re looking for a good community to live at in downtown Austin, go with these guys.
