Been living here for about 4 months with little complaints. A couple appliances might need a repair/reboot at move in, but the staff is very quick to reach out and resolve the couple issues Ive had. Yes they are older buildings, but its so affordable for the convenient location and features of the complex. Kamitia and the maintenance team deserve a raise!

For the last three months, I have enjoyed my experience living at Summer Gate. They are swift with completing work orders and resolving concerns about the apartment. Kamitia Watson was very helpful during the move-in process and resolved concerns.The maintenance workers do a good job completing work orders in a timely manner and are friendly. The apartment units are affordable, and the property from the outside is well kept. I appreciate the people who work here at Summer Gate!

Summer Gate Apartments is a very clean, quiet, affordable and peaceful place to live. Everyone is so friendly. The rent office manager Kamitia Watson goes above and beyond to take care of resident needs. She responds to your needs in a very timely manner. The swimming pool is beautiful and it also has a fitness gym you can utilize. I love my apartment it has a fireplace, a private patio, washer and dryer. I am so pleased. I love living here!! Ms. Kamitia was our leasing agent when we were apartment hunting for our son. Although she was really busy (and the only agent on site), she remained calm, friendly and professional to all of us waiting. When it was our turn to be seen, Ms Kamitia provided us with apartment information, took us for a few viewings, and assisted us with the application. She made the process seamless! We truly enjoyed meeting and working with Ms. Kamitia. It was also nice to see that residents felt very comfortable expressing their concerns. We were impressed with the welcome home gifts located in the kitchen and bathrooms. Nice touch! We liked the size, cleanliness of the complex, and all the amenities offered. My son’s apartment is close to everything, and he is in a very walkable area. Bus stops are located about a minute from the complex. If you’re ever in the market for a nice apartment, please see Ms. Kamitia at Summer Gate!

This letter to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to Kamitia Watson for her effort for looking my lost my shoes for almost 2weeks and after 2 weeks she found it. While I was with her to receive my lost shoes, Apartment resident came and complaining and shouting with arrogant words but Kamitia treated her with respect,patience and smile . Therefore, Kamitia can be able to mage more responsibilities if she promoted high post than she at present because she treat every resident family, equally and respectfully.

I saw this complex had vacancies and wanted a tour. I met Emerald, the leasing agent, and was very impressed. Her explanation of the property and tour was spot on. I went home and told my fiance, and we applied immediately. Emerald kept us informed throughout the process of applying. Now that we have moved in has taken great care in listening to our concerns and making sure they were addressed. I wantvto say thank you for having staff like Emerald that really care about the property and the tenants.

The manager Mrs. Keita is a very nice woman she take care of you she always makes sure that the maintenance people go in and take care of whatever problem that youre having she is very nice and I really like going to talk to her about anything that Im having issues with in my unit and be rest assured that she will make sure that you are being taken care of and thats why I have been in that community summer-gate apartment Irving for 8 years now. After few months of reviewing this apartment I noticed that during the night outside is as bright as the football stadium. You can literally see anybody hiding anywhere at night thats how bright the apartment is at night. Most importantly, the apartment is constantly renovating and improving the living condition of resident. Again I have been here since 2015. I love it dont wanna move. No need to pay $2000 when i can have the same amenities here and payless.

I love this apartment because is very close to everything like highway, grocery store, mall, airport, gas station. very very access able to everywhere. I have been living here since 2018 ordinary i like moving around lol but the manager here her name is KITA shes so nice and ready to help you in what ever you want and thats my mover mood why im still here. Most importantly, the community is very quite if you want to study and work from home. At night the community is very bright. Please come join me my block is 3837. Thank you

Move here today!!! I have lived here for a little over 3 years and I do not have one complaint! This property is quiet and always clean! You never see trash laying around and when there is an issue maintenance is on it! What made me initially move here outside of the apartments being beautiful was the sweetest manager Kita who was so helpful and very pleasant to work with with her I knew I was choosing the best for me and my children to live!!!!

I just moved from here a week ago after 3 years living in this community. Apt1802❤️Firstly let me tell you about the community, the complex is clean, well maintained, very quiet and safe. If you are a single lady like me i felt very safe here, friendly diverse neighbors,I used to come home late and always felt safe and no parking problems. Nice location and near lots of places.Now what makes this place special is the people who works here, every single one here is 5 STARS ⭐️ Keitha, Kristhy, Gary and Ricardo, office and maintenance people are the best I ever experienced after living in over 20 communities, THE owner own them a raise or some special, these people are GEM 💎 don’t lose them and they are the ones that makes these place so special. I moved out to a luxurious apt in Plano but I wish I could bring them with me, already missing their services because I doubt it I will get the same experience. Gary is a honest, hard working man and great handyman if you need extra work too. They all have great pleasant personalities, efficient and pleasant. I’m a extremely demanding person as a business owner I Expect excellence and I only got in this community and no they didn’t asked me to write a review not I got paid to write this review but I do appreciate excellence and they should know how important they are, I miss you guys. I want to start off by saying this community is one of the best. It is quite and not much goes on around here. I work nights and I sleep just fine during the day. There is only one issue I have had while living in this community. This issue was resolved by management.The issues was with my Electricity bill and energy usage amount. The bill and usage was an outrageous number for only living in a one bedroom unit.The management at Summer Gate (more specifically Kita Wallace) helped me to identify the cause of the excessive energy usage. After investigating and talking with maintenance, I found out the AC was using all the excess energy.Maintenance fixed all the problems with my AC and replaced my thermostat. After that my bill and account reflected a normal usage amount. This still left me with an outrageous bill from before the AC was fixed.Management at summer gate credited my account (for the amount accumulated during the time the AC was broken) to help compensate me for the outrageous electric bill.This put me back at even, my bill is reflecting a normal amount and now my AC works. Thank you Summer Gate for sitting down with me to get this issue resolved. I appreciate the time and consideration put into this situation.

Ive been here for almost 3 years now. Ill share the important stuff. My apartment and area has been fine this entire time. I have never seen a roach or anything in my apartment, everything work, the only complaint is I need better weather stripping on the door. Aside from that the building is comfortable and in working order.As for staff. The first 2 years were terrible. I would have to write a novel to share everything the staff did to tell you how hard the staff made living here. From having to fight with them just to check if I had a package there (it was always there. But amazon wouldnt leave a note in my box so theyd fight with me to even check.) to blaming my fiancé for not ensuring they added me on the lease. (So check to make sure they did their job) Mind you, after we paid the fee, did all the paperwork and signed. They had an issue which we came back and fixed. When we fixed it, we asked the girl, is there anything else we need to do to make sure you guys get this done? And we were told not you are all set, we will take it from here.That came back to bite us the following 6 months, I needed proof of residency. The manager herself said I wasnt put on the lease and blamed me fiancé. When we fought it, she found me in the agreement. However, she knew nothing about leasing so she couldnt even figure out how to get me a copy with my signature.I found out once the new management took over that I was in there all along and most of the issues we had were due to the previous manager, not knowing how to find things and they were completely rude.Happier now that the new management is here. Maintenance is kind and helpful, I dont need them hardly ever, but I see the head of maintenance around and even chit chat with him.4 star for the building. And previously it would have been a 1 star for the office.

The manager Kita provided me with the “white glove” experience, it was so personable and memorable to which I made the complex my home.
