Jon, my maintenance man is awesome! He came at first notice of something that I needed, with respect and professionalism. I have lived here @SenderoRidge in San Antonio for 2 months and it is the Best community in San Antonio. The maintenance crew keeps it so clean and they are all so nice. The amenities are outstanding! The management staff is top notch and will answer questions and help you navigate your stay.

I moved over here around September and its been such a smooth transition. Maintenance is amazing, ive had minor little issues but they are out here same day with in hours. Its great knowing i dont have to wait for things to get done. Jon has been one person to come by often, he is very nice and professional. Always gets the job done quick. I appreciate the follow up text as well to make sure everything is up to par. Makes me feel like they really care about their residents. I love it here!

When I say April and the manager went up and above to get me everything I was looking for to make my kids comfortable and safe they really did. My husband and I are definitely happy with moving here. And Jon is great and fast to help with the issues we needed repair. Apartment so clean, Pest control came right away when I saw only 1 little roach and added extra traps to see if they needed to do deeper treatment (I haven’t seen any since, thankfully). Residence is super sweet when I take my oldest to bus and our neighbors are as well. Walls are thick enough where you don’t hear outside or your neighbors (minus if running/heavy foot walking). This is a great family place for anyone who has kiddos, especially the schools in the area. definitely feel safer here than any place we been.

Jon Day is amazing! He’s always on top of the jobs he does, and most importantly, I feel safe when he works in my home. Many times, men who have worked near or around my home has made me feel like my privacy was violated, or made me very uncomfortable. Jon not only does a great job, but he has the upmost respect for the residents he helps. My schedule has always been difficult because of my job, but Jon makes it work. I appreciate him and his Supervisor. Both him and her are always smiling and waving even just seeing them going around the property. Makes this place feel more like home. I appreciate them. This is a very nice well kept apartment/home community that has seen a major renovation. Ever since the new manager, Ms. Jennifer and her assistant Amber, took over, the place has been redone in numerous areas like landscaping and parking. A great change from previous management! Any question or concerns are taken care of at a reasonable time frame. I started reading some of the other reviews, really upset that someone mentioned tattoos and hiring anyone from the street. That was really not appropriate, the way you look should not be the hiring factor, but the experience. I have been here almost a year, it was downhill from the get go, no Ivy never was a help, she was dealing in so much more personal stuff here. Yes, the gates werent working, but they are now, it took months for my AC unit to be replaced, Ivy never helped, new management did! As soon as Ms. Jennifer came to my apt. to see what was wrong, the issue was fixed! My elect. bills were almost $400.00 a month because I was never heard/helped by previous management. New management has made this complex come back to life. I have to say, if you leave items in your vehicle, there will always be someone who does not have the values that we have, no matter where you live. I dont see a criminal element here, everyone of our neighbors is a neighbor you would want. The only problem I have is with people not picking up their dogs poop and our neighbors taking advantage of parking under the canopy when we pay and so do others! Way to go Jennifer and Amber!! 👍

Been a tenant going on 2 years now. Cant be happier with staff service both at the Administration Office and Maintenance Team. JON is super kind and professional. I always get a detailed sheet with what has been done. They always acomodate to my pets in order to get everything done. Location is FANTASTIC!!! Will stay with them as long as possible. Love it!

My carpet hat lifted up where it meets the tile exposing nails. Needless to say, whenever you stepped on it, it hurt. I put in a service request that morning not expecting anyone to stop by for a few days. To my surprise, Jon Day showed up that same day and worked on it quickly and efficiently. He’s always very professional and friendly. I’m vet please with how quickly maintenance handles service requests.

Moved in yesterday and water was lukewarm. Submitted a service request late last night. Early this morning JON responded swiftly to my service request. He was very professional and knowledgeable about what was going on with my issue. So far my move-in has been a pleasant one. The complex is quiet and friendly neighbors. Have to either rent a carport or garage for parking because parking is limited after working hours. Overall nice and pleasant experience.

He is extremely dependable and knows what he is doing.Edit: Jon came out within minutes of our window breaking and made a temp fix until they can get a replacement. Still doing a killer job.

This apartment complex is really nice. I wanted to give them 5 stars, but I had to knock off a star for a few things.First, the great:The leasing office - Krystal and April were absolute gems when I first started looking at this complex. April explained everything I needed to know and Krystal was very helpful in getting me set up with things. I wasnt able to tour the exact unit I rented, but Krystal took me to another one and let me take measurements and pictures for future me planning. Not only that, but Krystal remembered who I am from over a year ago and made me really feel like she took a vested interest in the residents here at Sendero Ridge. I was blown away when I went in to sign my notice of move out that she remembered me.The maintenance staff - Holy cow these guys are great. Jon is super professional and I am amazed at the speed in which he completes a work order! I had a broken piece on my microwave facia and he had it fixed in no time flat. He also went above and beyond when I asked for my AC filter to be replaced - I made a note/comment asking if they could please lower the AC as I had been away on vacation and had it cranked up and didnt wanna come back to a hot apartment. He did exactly that. I cannot remember the womans name who also works in maintenance but every time she has come to fix an issue in my apartment, she brings the same caliber of professionalism as Jon. I am blown away by how fast my issues got fixed here!The reasons why I had to knock off a star -The dog park is a little lack luster. There is a bench to sit on, but thats it. I know there really isnt a whole lot of room to make a bigger dog park, and they are limited in where they can put it, but I feel like something other than a bench would be great for the doggos of the complex.Speaking of dogs, I know this is an issue in every complex pretty much in San Antonio, but I feel like very few people actually pick up after their dogs when they take them out to potty. Its been a lot better lately, but there are still times Im dodging dog piles while walking.The washer they provide to you is also kind of loud - it almost sounds like the bearings are going out, but even brand new they sound super loud so get ready for that. It took a while to get used to, but once you do you hardly notice the washer running any more (or be like my upstairs neighbor and just crank your music loud enough for the entire building to hear whenever you do laundry).Trash cans are kind of few and far between outside and not in convenient locations. I feel like each car port should have a trash can, or at least one trash can near to the car ports to help residents clean out trash if needed. More trash cans would also be helpful when cleaning up pet waste. I will say, that even though there are very few trash cans in convenient spots, maintenance is still pretty good about keeping the property cleaned up.The gate out front is broken more than I think should be normal, and I know its most likely due to people trying to rush and catch it before it closes. I do with the property management company would issue out clickers instead of having us use a code to enter. When its raining, its impossible to not get water all over the interior of your car door when trying to get into the complex. Also, where the touch pad is, you either have to almost scrape your car against the brick or open your door and get out and hit the keypad. Not really ideal in my eyes.The trash valet is also hit or miss - Ive had my trash out before 8pm several times and they never came by and grabbed it. I understand they might run behind sometimes, but I dont want to get in trouble for leaving my trash can out a second day because they didnt pick it up the night before.If I wasnt moving in with my significant other, I would definitely signed a second lease term with this apartment.

I wasn’t going to leave a review until I left but it’s almost been going on 4 years and I actually had an urgent need taken care of so promptly that I think is super important, especially in Texas.I’ve had problems with my AC freezing over. A lot of water would also build up (it was an old AC). I think I’ve put in a lot of requests for it and every time, I had maintenance right at my door within an hour to 24hrs. Well, this was the last time I put an order in so they recommended replacing the whole system. Sweet! Until the breaker kept turning off and it became over 80 in my place with it 88 outside and bedtime with a toddler. I put in for an urgent request, breakers scare me and I couldn’t have my toddler sleep in such hot conditions with the humidity. Within an hour or so I had such a professional maintenance woman (I’m sorry I forgot your name!) come and take care of the issues. Even went to get a shop vac, in pouring down rain, to get some of the excessive water build up. I had to have the AC man out again the next day and he messed with a few things and now I have no problems!I have had small issues here and there with doors not shutting but John, another maintenance man be live his name is(I’m really awful with names) and he fixed that and when my front of the drawer popped off, fixed that! They are so quick, will bring a portable AC unit if they can’t get your AC working same day.The office staff are very knowledgeable, April is always so sweet to talk to and I feel like she really listens to needs and provides professional feedback.Of course you can hear your neighbors upstairs, but you can’t really hear them through the walls. Which is great when you had newborn and was worried you’d bother your neighbors.The pools are always so clean, the property can be clean but we have trash valet so that does mean we don’t have large trash cans throughout the complex anymore. You can’t put your trash that weighs over 25lbs outside your door(I believe that’s the weight limit)so you have to put it in your car, hope it doesn’t spill on the way to the compactor toward the front of the complex exit. There’s also people who leave their trash bags just on the sidewalks by the buildings but maintenance does a great job of seeing it and picking it up.Water shut off seems to happen often like maybe once a month, if that, so I always keep an extra case of water but everyone should if I’m honest. Emergencies happen.Parking is a nightmare for anyone who doesn’t pay extra for a garage or covered parking.I have maybe seen 5 small baby roaches in my time here, right after a move out around me or once it started to get warm. After that, nothing. We’re in Texas too so it’s crazy to not see that many if any at all!Neighbors are super nice, everyone keeps to themselves. You don’t hear g*n violence or people yelling outside. I feel absolutely safe, as a woman, walking to the mail center up front with my child, alone and you don’t get that with many places.There’s also a “parcel package” machine so Amazon or USPS will place your larger items in those electronic containers and you just scan a code or type it in to get your items. It’s across from the actual mailboxes so very convenient. When I first moved in, I had to go to Encino Post Office just to get larger packages (Boxycharm for example wouldn’t fit so you would have to go to the PO to pick it up). So this is a great improvement.I really do recommend this complex. They came under new management I believe a year or more ago and there’s nothing but improvements being made!

Sharing a review about the staff, Not the buildings.Jon with maintenance is absolutely wonderful! He is at our door within 24 hours of putting in a (non-urgent) review. Lu has also helped a couple of times. Both men are efficient and polite and have fixed the several problems weve had without an issue. Very happy with the maintenance team. :)While talking about the staff, I have to mention April! She is in the front office and is amazing. So friendly and helpful. We were really happy to work with her to get our apartment.

My wife and I love this place, we love it, their maintenance team is exceptional, Lu is always very fast, anything we need she is there to look after and Kristal is very kind, in that sense Kristal is an important element for us since our English is not good and she is the only one who speaks Spanish and that is important for us. The pool and gym are very nice. In general we love this place.

We have lived here for about 2 years now. At first it was great, and then slowly things started to get a little wonky in the management at the front office. THEN, the apartments were bought out by a new company and I MUST admit. They have been doing a darn good job at making this place look amazing. Reason for my review now is. Our water heater broke, and right away maintenance supervisor Omar showed up and helped us out. Replaced a weak part, but after seeing how hard it was to remove the part and then hearing how we had been hear for 2 years and never had a problem till now, he immediately said he would get a brand new water heater shipped in the next day. Sure enough, there he was the next morning removing and installing the brand new water heater. I am impressed with his work ethic and kindness. The removal of the water heater made a little mess in the carpet and Omar went above and beyond to request the carpet be cleaned free of charge. AMAZING SERVICE and apartment now that the new company has taken over. Keep it up guys! Thank You!

We have lived here going on 4 years and love it! Great prices, great schools, close to everything needed, beautiful well kept property, and a safe place. Amy in the office has been phenomenal and always so incredibly helpful and willing to answer any questions. Johnathan and Clint in maintenance are always working hard and the response times on work orders are always done quick. The young guy in maintenance is always around the property keeping up with the upkeep and keeping it beautifully kept. We love to call this place home and are so thankful!

Updated review 2019: I have not updated this review since I originally lived here back in 2015. My experience at that time was decent being that it was my first ever apartment but now that I have more experience in renting I understand the flaws this complex had. I just recently revisited to do another tour and can say that the build quality of these apartments are no where near what is needed for the price being charged. Additionally, several management changes which included adding in section 8 housing has made the resident pool not the best. I believe at this point in time the community is no longer section 8 (tax credit) but many of those residents still live here. Lady at the front desk was also extraordinarily unenthusiastic which is super odd to see in leasing agents. The best thing about this complex is the location (very secluded), the dumpsters are relatively close to the buildings making it easy to get rid of trash, and the newer paint to the buildings is a nice touch. I am also aware they are starting to replace very outdated white appliances with black on black ones.Original review: This is by far the best place that I have ever lived in. I believe that most of the reviews here are outdated from previous management, and since then this has become probably the best apartment complex around. Trash is ALWAYS empty, and never overflowing, I have very rarely had a situation where Ive had a problem and maintenance hasnt been right out to fix it. They are very fast at responding to issues, and have always fixed everything perfectly. The grounds are kept very clean, the staff is very nice and friendly, and I just love living here :D. Even without a parking garage or space, I have never been unable to find a parking space. Thanks !

We have been living here for about 5 months now and have not had any issues at all! Being apartment renters for over 15 years, this property is by far the best Ive been in for a very long time. The office staff is great and the maintenance team is pretty darn amazing for having to manage a very large complex. We had our new updated appliances installed today and Clint did an AMAZING job. He showed up within the time frame we requested and the installation was quick and efficient! We love our new appliances. Keep up the great work yall!!

Sendero ridge apartments is a great place to live, great school district close to all shopping and restaurants. The staff we have is great in the front office! I have lived here since 2014 and dont plan on moving anytime soon. Sure things could be better about the property but name an apartment complex that dont have issues. The assistant manager is awesome and does what she says in a timely manner. And one of the office staff members ( Nester ) is an awesome guy that is on the ball with his duties and beyond, this person is pleasant to deal with, always is very polite and friendly and will do his very best to get back with you the same day if you request him too. He has really turned the office atmosphere around with his friendly outgoing demeanor. The ground keepers could do better keeping trash picked up but it takes a community if people would use the trash cans instead of throwing trash on the ground this would a much cleaner place.... The apartments are nice and the people that live here are nice as well. But there is a few kids that love to play in my corridor that do not live in my building that ride there scooters and bikes back and forth screaming and it is very loud in the apartment not much insulation from front door. And people not picking up there Dogs Poop that is everywhere. And a few people let there dogs go out to use the restroom without being on leashes which is against the rules here so dogs pee on pillars in breezeway which makes walking into your breezeway a challenge and it stinks. But Im sure with the staff we have now these problems will be addressed and taking care of.

I have been living here for more than 1 year and I have not had a very good experience with maintenance responding to tenant requests. However, there have been some noticeable changes in the team. I had a problem with my refrigerator. As soon as maintenance was notified,they took care of the problem. Michael was very helpful and professional. He was polite, fast, clean, and efficient. I am really pleased with the way he approached the issue. He is changing the culture and expectations at the apartment complex for the better. We need more people like him!

I love these apartments. One of my biggest issues with my last apartment was maintenance. Jonathan goes above and beyond, you can really tell he cares about the property and the residents. No matter if hes on a current job or just on property he greets you with a smile and makes sure everything is going okay. It has been a time when I had an issue with my bathroom, I told him I would put in a work order and he offered to take a look at it right then to see if he solve the problem. Response time is always prompt even with the property having so many units you would never know it. I love sendero ridge and I plan to call this home for the near future.People can say what they want but the maintenance here but I receive beyond superb service from John and Omar, they will continue working on the problem until its fix. People are human and things operate however they want but with team work these guys are GREAT. Thank you once again for your hard work, and persistence.

I have to give big kuddos to management for staying on top of maintenance lately. My repair requests have been quick and efficient. I really enjoy the quiet environment and community has gotten better. My kids really enjoy the pool. I do wish the garbage trucks would come more frequent since the dumpsters get full quickly but not sure if that is a city thing or out of their control. Overall a decent place for a decent price. Great location near Stone Oak and shopping.

I have lived here for about a year and a half and my best friend also lived here for a year so I will give a review from both standpoints.First off, if this apartment complex was the same price as the apartments in stone oak, it would definitely have less stars. Maybe 2.5 or 3. But it is significantly cheaper and the price is really unbeatable for the location. It is sandwiched between 281 and 1604 which is nice and it is completely secluded. Yes, it is close to Laurel Ridge but there is a forest between us.Second, apartments look nice from the outside. They keep up with painting the exterior railings and landscaping pretty well. There is a lot of room between all the apartments, which I love because my daughter can run around outside without being close to the road.Third, parking is horrible. I don’t have to expand because all the other reviews say so. Honestly, these apartments were built with limited parking to pressure tenants into renting covered parking or garages but nobody does it. It is actually affordable, especially with the cheap rent.Fourth, management. The turn-over rate has been extremely high since I have been here but I love the management that has taken over in the past six months. I can always speak to a manager, they have worked with me on extending my lease for small amounts of time without an increase in rent. Work orders have always been attended to quickly for me, but my friend did have a couple of instances where she had to call more than once.Fifth, the apartments are so-so inside. Cheap flooring and appliances. However, they have double-panel windows and nice baseboards. Good neutral colors but they use a matte finish which is a nightmare for children. If you ask for some paint at the office, they will give you some to touch up spots, which is nice.Lastly, the main pool IS cleaned regularly in the summer. I was there at least 30 times last summer and never had a problem with it. The other pool sucks, I don’t really know if they kept it clean or not.So, for the price, the issues are not too bad. I have lived in a lot of apartments and almost all of these problems are common except the parking, which is just crazy. You can already pay an extra $300 and live somewhere else in stone oak. Or pay 35 a month for covered parking :)

This is my third time living here in the past 13 years. We moved in February of 2018 and was very disappointed, HOWEVER the new manager Jennifer is working hard to make improvements and get this place back to its best. Over the past 3 months Ive seen huge changes in the property and the sense of urgency. Any time Ive voiced a concern it has been addressed almost immediately. For the past reviews are now irrelevant now that there is new management. The only complaint I have is the parking and the park needing some updates. Other than that the staff is friendly, property is clean and well landscaped, pools are beautiful, plenty of spots to bbq, floorplans are spacious and beautifully set up, maintenance is on top of things, and improvements are being made daily. Remember that not every review is what it seems. I encourage you to come look for yourselves. The prices for this area and luxury living cant be beat.

I am fairly new to these apartments. Been here for four months now. I too read reviews and was concerned, but I have had no problems whatsoever. Office ladies are nice and have answered all my questions and concerns. Maintenance is also good at keeping up with, well, maintenance. If you pay your rent and bills on time, they dont mess with you. Ive actually enjoyed their Night Out party, Wine and Cheese tasting event. Even won movie passes. Do what I did., look at the dates of these other reviews and think, with over 400 units, over 5 plus years, a few bad reviews is not uncommon. The good outweighs the few bad.These were probably people who were continuously late on rent or something. Do pre-lease a carport though or garage.Hope this helps.Luis P.

I wish I could put ZERO stars!! Me and my boyfriend have lived here for a year. We got our lease renewal letter, went in and signed a new lease to renew, (not because this is a great property, but because they offered a good price after we expressed our interest in leaving). Four days later, we went in the office and they printed out the lease agreement and we went over with the consultant and signed. An entire month later, (after our 60 day notice period), they sent us an email saying they had a misprint in paperwork and our new renewal rate would be $160 more than they initially told us. I went in to review paperwork and discovered when we signed the lease over a month ago, they never signed a few of the pages.Update:After viewing this review, the manager Cynthia reached out to me in attempt to make things right. They honored our original rate, and did upgrades to our unit. This complex is undergoing new management and I do believe they did their best to make things right with us!

I can not say how much I love this complex! Imelda and the other front staff members are so sweet and eager to help and the complex itself is well cared for clean and all together a great family friendly community. The reason I’m writing this specific review is to highlight my experience just yesterday morning. I had a package that was delivered to the office that I needed to pick up, while talking with Imelda I mentioned that there was a wasp hive close to my apartment that seemed to be getting pretty big but that’s how Texas summers can be sometimes, I got my package and went back home. I am not exaggerating when I say 5 min. later I got a knock on my door and was asked by one of the AMAZING maintenance workers ( if I remembered his name I would use it because he was AWESOME) where the hive was and he quickly took care of the issue. I can say I have never lived ANYWHERE that has that quick of a turnaround time for any type of request, and this is just an issue I said in passing. I LOVE THIS PLACE!

I have been living here since september in a 2 bed with my roomate tanner i just want to say that as far as apartments go this place has been the best i have lived in. Staff is always nice and professional. I talk with nestor most of the time we need something done in our apartment or for any other needs within the complex. He has superb customer service skills. If i had any complaints it would be parking related but thats with most apartments. As far as maintenance goes everytime we get a work order put in it is usually taken care of within a day or so and we generally dont have any other problems after. So thank you, keep up the good work. I will be sending some of my friends here.Ps on a side note after reading some of the other reviews im surprised by the few bad ones ive seen. I have not yet experienced any of the problems they are referring to..

I moved from Laredo Tx unexpectedly and these apartments were one of the first I looked into. They were at a great location everything is so close to me. The size of the apartment for the price is great many other places are cheaper but sq ft is smaller. These apartment are spacious lots of storage in and out of the apartment. The only thing I do have to complain about is PARKING but its a problem every where. If you decide to chose this complex request a carport or Garage immediately especially if you come home late from work. There will always be a spot to park at, but might be far from your section . Other than that I have not had any problems with anyone, everyone is friendly even all my neighbors. I Love it !

I really like living here. The apartments are very roomy compared to most other properties I compared before moving here. I was able to get a 2 bedroom, 2 bath for the same rate as most other properties 1 bedroom price. Theres a lot of closets in this apartment that I can store things in, the outdoor patio is huge and designed to be very private. Theres lots of windows and the windows are big so it lets a lot of light into my apartment. There are high ceilings too. Other properties had only a few small windows or had really low ceilings.....I didnt want to live in cell block D lol! Theres also a laundry room in my own apartment for a full sized washer and dryer, ceiling fans in every room, and my kitchen has new appliances. Theres not much cabinet space in the kitchen though but it works for me since its only ME living here - a full family might be a little tight in this kitchen though. There are a LOT of electrical outlets throughout my apartment which is really convenient too. The parking is well organized and even if you get home very late at night, youll always have a spot to park in - although you might have to walk a little - I opted for a covered space and people here have been very good at not parking in other peoples spaces! Everyone seems really nice and its very quiet at night. This apartment does have what I call casino grass. Theres a few pet owners who dont pick up after their pets so if you walk through the grass, you could kickapoo. lol When I get home in the afternoons, the kids are playing in the courtyard in groups and they are very well behaved and generally go indoors when the sun goes down. The access gates work well - everyone uses a numerical code to enter but the management team is upgrading the gates soon to use remotes. This complex is kind of off in its own little area off Redland Rd and Loop 1604 so theres no crime around here and I feel safe parking my truck here. And getting to and from Sendero Ridge is a breeze - its really easy to get to 1604 and 281 even in very high traffic because of where its located - I work in the medical center area so Im there in 30 minutes even in peak morning or afternoon traffic! Id highly recommend Sendero Ridge!

If you are moving to sendero Ridge apartments just know that you are well taken care of this place has a wonderful staff and a welcoming place to call home I really enjoyed living there, they are so patient and kind and I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone who ask me.

Great apartment complex..! Office staff is very attentive, and the maintenance guys Omar and Jonathan are very committed to their job.

The pools leaves a lot to be desired. Its nasty no one ever cleans it on a daily basis. Maintenance is very poor you have to leave requests for over a month before it actually gets done.
