Ive been living here since February of 2024. Ive seen improvements and restoration of the common areas and amenities. The office staff and maintenance are wonderful.Unfortunately, another tenant caused a major fire in the building we were in recently, which forced the entire building to vacate. But, the response and support we received was immediate. Within the span of 32 hours after the incident, we were able to sign a new lease for a bigger apartment at no additional cost with Victoria M. all while providing food and drinks and constantly answering questions and addressing concerns to the many people affected by the fire.

I have lived here going on my third year. The floor plans here are the best bang for your buck. The entire maintenance staff is by far the best. Courteous, friendly, professional they are amazing! For a property this size, its hard to believe how quicky they take care of you. Gabreal was my leasing representative and the main reason I rented here. He is the best. The manager Victoria is relatively new to this property and is definitely making a difference. She makes it fun to live here! She really cares for her residents. All said, the staff here, all around is top notch and some of the best in property management. For all those reasons stated above...you would be crazy not to live here at Preston Peak.

I have lived at Preston Peak for about 2 years now, I did a review a while back, I wanted to update it, but I couldn’t find it. Anyway, this apartment has really improved over the past 2 years. The maintenance team, Richard, Raymond, and Justin are the best!! Always do a fantastic job! Alyssa and Gabriel and every person that works in the leasing office are attentive, knowledgeable, and awesome at their job! If you are looking to find a place to live, Preston Peak should be a top choice!

Beyond pleased with Preston peak and the maintenance team. Justin D in Matinance always does an amazing job. Hes very timely and responded super quick. He even does great with my dogs. Gabriel and Alyssa in the office always answer my calls so politely and answer my questions professionally. Highly recommend moving here.

Today Richard came to help us out with a bit of a big task. We had no cold water, living room fan wasn’t working and the light fixture in the kitchen was falling. He got everything working after a couple grueling hours of trial and error but finally got it down and couldn’t be happier. He was very efficient, organized, and detail oriented. He made sure the work was done correctly and neatly to avoid issues in the future. Very hardworking, knowledgeable and good company, and has left a very good impression on us. Once again, we are very happy and satisfied by the work done here by Richard today!

I want to thank the front office and the maintenance staff for responding so quickly to the fire that occurred Friday morning. I want to thank the San Antonio Fire Department, Police Officers, and Red Cross for executing safety efforts so quickly. The front office helped with food/beverages and finding units to transfer everyone into the NEXT DAY. Saturday morning both the front office and Red Cross were readily available and the fence was unlocked at 11am for residents to retrieve any items worth salvaging. Raymond and maintenance crew were assisting families with moving out of their apartments with such short notice. It was really awesome to see neighbors coming together to help one another out during this unfortunate tragedy. The office provided boxes and totes to help move items out. Due to the safety of all individuals considering the recent fire/flooding and structure of the buildings, retrieving items quickly in a hazard zone was #1 priority. I really do appreciate the efforts we all took as a community during this devastating time.

We’ve been with Preston Peak a little over a year now, and even though the move in wasn’t too great and a recurring issue, can’t honestly be too upset. Staff has always listened and acted on concerns and issues quickly and efficiently. Raymond was the first maintenance partner we interacted with and have seen more often and he’s always efficient, organized, and knowledgeable about what’s going on. Just recently he went above and beyond and stayed up until pretty much first light to help with an emergency. I felt bad considering he had to work in the am, but we’re forever grateful for his swift action, and persistence to help us out. 10/10

My move in with Preston wasn’t so great, but despite of the many things needing to be repaired I could not be upset. My concerns were always addressed and things were always done when I needed them to be. Gabe was the first to hear about my concerns and immediately he took action on the next step forward. All of the maintenance guys were also so caring, attentive and empathetic. I think what matters MOST to me is being heard, and having my concerns be addressed and worked on. I am 100% satisfied with the quality I have received coming from all them. Thank you for the hard work you guys have done!

We moved in to a third floor apartment in may and the ac would not cool further than 80 degrees. We put in a service request and they came but it did not help finally we put a second service request in August and Richard went above and beyond , apparently our pipes were fully clogged along with a couple other issues. He was vary attentive and helpful ! Thank you!

Just moved in yesterday:The grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Landscaping is beautiful. Work out room and pool very clean. I never thought I’d say that I have found the perfect apartment, but I did. I love my 1 bedroom (fully renovated) apartment. Its spacious, beautiful, and maintenance is surprisingly fast with responding to work orders. I love my apartment, I love the management here. The only complaint I really have is guests have to pay to park after you use your one and only guest pass. Other than that I love this complex!

I’ve lived at Preston Peak for almost 3 years and any problems I’ve had have been fixed with urgency and I haven’t had very many! Like any apartments, you should take precautions to lock your doors, windows and do not keep belongings in your car. As well as pay attention to the communication that gets sent out from the property regarding particular policies like towing and etc.. There is a new property manager named Victoria Trautman and I’ve personally lived at a property that she’s managed before and she was great! She always throws amazing events, answers any questions you have and most of all fixes any issues you may have! This property is in great hands! Not to mention, that the leasing staff is really friendly every time I go in :)

I went to Preston Peak, recently to inquire about an apartment. Upon walking in, I was quickly greeted by Victoria M, the assistant manager. Victoria M was very knowledgeable about the property and offered a tour. Victoria M pointed out the amenities offered in the community and the property was very well maintained. The customer service was excellent and I would recommend checking this place out. If Im being completely honest Victoria M will be the only reason I would consider this place.

This review is long overdue since my partner and I have been living here since Feb. We did want to extend our immense gratitude to Liuva for walking us through the floor plans and offering us a great deal at the time. She also gave us a tour of the units and thoroughly explained all the services and amenities the complex offered. Her honesty and friendliness was appreciated as we had toured other places around S.A that did not extend the same kindness. During our application process, Gabe also moved heaven and earth to get us a unit and made it possible before the lease on our previous unit expired. After moving in, our printer stopped working and Alyssa took the time to help us print important documentation. This staff truly goes above and beyond and works with so much patience and knowledge! Thank yall!

Im giving 5 stars to the maintenance team. my power went out in the middle of the day (my breaker box was old and had to be replaced) thankfully I caught justin just before leaving for the day and he took immediate action by turning my power back on and requesting an electrician asap. while I was waiting the power went out again and Raymond, while after hours, turned the power back on for me once more and made sure that the electrician came and fixed the issue, which they did.

Series of Unfortunate Events! My husband and I were moving into Preston Peak with a newborn. Water started leaking from our fridge. After we moved everything into the apartment, returned the uhual, and went back to the apartment, we locked ourselves out past 10 pm. We were exhausted and frustrated. We called the after-hours maintenance, and RICHARD was so good that he arrived at our apartment within 5 minutes. He fixed our locks, fixed our water valves, and was extremely kind and helpful. He has been the best part of moving to Preston Peak.

The parking sucks and most of these bad reviews are pretty honest but I will say the maintenance guys here are great! They usually take care of any issues I have that day or the next day. Always helpful if I need help bringing stuff down my 3 flights of stairs. Every apartment is going to have their issues especially in good ol San Antonio but at least they try their best!

Came in looking for a small 1 bedroom apartment. I worked with Gabriel. He showed me around and went above and beyond taking me to several different units. Nearing end of year 4:The good: My car has not been broken into. The gates have worked relatively consistently. Maintenance responds quickly to service requests, and management seems to genuinely want to help when contacted. The unit layouts are fantastic, especially B2. The assigned parking spaces are covered, which is nice when hailstorms roll through. There are two pools and the complex has been working to keep them in good condition.The bad: Hidden fees, insulation issues, and questionable mail security.Trash valet costs $30/mo with no opt out option.Hidden fees tally ~$56/mo, along with ~$50-60 for water+sewer for a 2 BR/2BA - its allocated so theres no way to be thrifty with water usage and save money.Tack on $100-120/mo to whatever your apartment cost is.The interiors are not well-insulated and my windows have frozen on the inside when it gets cold in the winter. The summer gets toasty, and even keeping the AC set to ~78 will run you over $150/mo in the warmer months.Ive had 2 credit cards and a car registration decal stolen from my mailbox - this may have occurred prior to mail delivery, but when I raised the issue with the office, they were not very helpful and said the police department would have to contact them for any video footage to be released.

We recently moved into this property from another Greystar community and we were excited to find out that our old Leasing Manager, Miranda had moved to Preston Peak! I cannot speak more highly of her management style and the leasing staff at the property as well. They really went above and beyond to make sure we found a unit we loved! The move in process was easy and smooth. Maintenance has been super quick and responsive. Our unit is beautiful. The community is quiet, clean and dog friendly which is a huge plus for us. Definitely recommend moving here!

Service requests are always handled quickly and professionally. Raymond is a gem and always goes above and beyond when handling service calls. Office staff is friendly and efficient. Amenities could use some improvement ie. gym would be great if equipment would work, volleyball net is patched up, workout equipment on the walking trail is all broken, tennis court is in pretty good shape, ping pong and corn hole are a nice touch pool side. Really looking forward to clean pools in the summer. Dog park is mostly dirt vs grass, gets way too muddy to truly enjoy. Love the walking trail. I’ve lived here 3 months and have had no issues. I will update at the end of the lease if issues arise. Location and price, can’t be beat. Would recommend to live here10/10.

I want to thank Richard for all he done tonight as a wonderful job. He was right on the two maintenance orders shortly right after I had submitted them even that late as the shift maintenance. We had an issue with our microwave as well as the trash disposal but I didn’t expect it’s going to resolve this fats but thank Richard he did a wonderful job and didn’t let his community members feel inconvenience not even for one night. He is very friendly and respectful with us as the Preston Peak residents and I just want to thank Richard and say we are glad to have you within Preston Peak community.

I have been in Preston Peak since more than a month. I am first time to US itself, but I didn’t feel new to this place. My daughter and myself enjoy going to park, gym, swimming pool area in this community. It is better than other community when I compared to my friend’s one. It recently arranged a gathering with Santa and my daughter took a photo and enjoyed with them. It also made other people in the community to talk and introduce each other with app like Cobu. I enjoy living in this community. It is near to my child’s school, and easy access to places like HEB, Costco , Walmart and few Indian stores and it will take around 15minutes drive to airport.

We just recently moved into these apartments and we have had nothing but great experiences thus far.Gabrael in the leasing office is by far one of our favorite people to see around the complex and chat with - he always has a smile on his face and never fails to make us laugh, as well as being very communicative and on top of everything we needed prior to moving in here.Maintenance is nothing but remarkable in our experience - once we create our maintenance request, they strive to get it resolved quickly and efficiently. All of the maintenance guys that we have come in contact with have made us feel welcome and treated our concerns with as much care as if it was their own home.Parking here has been no hassle for us whatsoever. Even getting home after midnight, there is always a parking spot close to our apartment. They also have a system called Parqking and it is super easy to use for when friends want to come and visit!Overall, this apartment has been amazing. They also have a lot of little community get togethers at the leasing office and have brought in a couple food trucks, which I have never experienced in an apartment before - it makes it really feel like home!

Ive lived here now for about 2 years, and although the complex is good, at times Ive had issues with the office staff. I could go on about the issues Ive had with the staff at this complex such as the fact that I still dont have a gate key; but, I will say that despite these issues, there have been two individuals whove always helped me out and never let me down. The manager here Jessica Cortez and Maintenance Man Que are great at their jobs and have always gone above and beyond when Ive needed them.Ques work ethic and the quality of his work has not been matched by anyone else Ive ever known. The last time I had an issue and needed help, Que was freaking awesome! He came to my apartment the day that I submitted the work order and fixed all 4 issues in about 30 minutes, and took some time to explain to me everything he was doing and how to prevent any further issues.

Preston Peak is recently under better management and they are making lots of changes and really answering peoples concerns!Under previous management there was a roach problem and because I made the mistake of not walking my apartment before I moved in I didn’t know about them till it was too late. I’m scared of them so it stressed me out all year. The new management came in and did a community wide spray day about a month or two ago and I have not seen any since. I’m hoping they will continue to do those every so often to keep it managed.They are in the middle of repainting the outside of all the buildings and the new color concept feels a lot more modern. We do have valet trash.We didn’t before and it was added on to our bill as I guess they were procuring the service and I think that caused some confusion but we have valet trash and it just started maybe two weeks ago. It’s awesome it was always my biggest pet peeve to have to take it all the way down to one of the dumpsters now I just set outside in a smaller garbage can on select days! They come and take it at night. My lease ends here on the 4th and I’m actually moving to a bigger apartment that has been updated. Two months ago I was sure I was going to move but we decided to stay here because all the concerns we had were slowly being addressed. I hope it keeps up this momentum and I’m excited to see a management company that seems to care about resolving these concerns. Once we get the new apartment I’ll post another review

So far have had a great experience! The move in process was simple and Gabrael was so helpful. Love my new apartment and maintenance is quick. I was also able to save money on a new internet service with the help of Samuel who works with AT&T. Samuel was able to answer all my questions and helped me through the set up process when my equipment arrived. Definitely recommend to ask Gabrael in the leasing office about getting help with internet service with Samuel. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My wife and I LOVE it here at Preston Peak! Its beautiful (highly recommend a 3rd floor unit in the teen buildings for the view). I understand that many residents have had small issues but thats life right? Thats at least part of why we live in an apartment community and dont own homes. Right?The staff is wonderful and sweet and always works so hard. Even through seasons of short staffing in leasing agents the property management and even regional manager come to help get it done. I know sometimes its tough for them to answer a phone call but I cant help being empathetic. There are so many units here! And between us residents, vendors, and hopeful new tenants I have no doubts the phone rings off the hook all day long.Maintenance guys are very competent. Yesterday one of the newer guys on staff came and fixed 3 issues weve had in less than half an hour. Im so bad with names :( I wish I could remember it. And they have gone through a season of being very short staffed as well. So happy for them its over. Even in that time they did everything that they could to serve our community to the best of their abilities.Come make Preston Peak your home!

Preston Peak is worth the stop.Recently under new management. There are improvements being made to the property at an impressive pace. The staff is professional, personable, good natured, and patient. The maintenance team is skilled and timely. All around the team strives to meet tenant wishes and are open to feedback.The property itself is full of character and enchantment. The community is tucked away in the hills and is in close relation to both medical center and I10. The property is quiet and neighborly with plenty of amenities. Most notable to include the volleyball court, walking trails, Tennis courts, and two large swimming pools. With the few issues I did have in the unit (missing stove top trays), the maintenance / staff (Edward) were quick and responsive in getting my issue resolved. Within the next morning of filing a maintenance request, I already had a technician sent to my unit to handle my situation! All-in-all, so far my experience at this complex has been great.

From the start I’ve had a positive experience. When I went to look at the apartment I was greeted and felt welcomed. Nicole showed me a unit which was very nice but I needed more living room space so she told me she has the perfect one and showed it to me. I immediately fell in love and knew it was the perfect one. Nicole was very helpfully throughout the process and kept me inform of my status at all times and made the moving process enjoyable.

I just moved in a few days ago but so far my experience has been wonderful! I’ve been working with Selina the entire time and she is so kind and helpful! When I first got here my keys didn’t work and in a matter of 5-10 min maintenance had the locks replaced and new keys in hand. There were a few minor things that needed to be repaired and maintenance came and completed everything in a very timely manner. Sometimes is it difficult to get someone on the phone but I understand they’re busy and I’ve learned calling in the morning is the best time. So far I love it here and it is a very nice unit and large. Parking is very limited but it personally does not affect me as I only have one car. I would definitely recommend this apartment complex!

I have been living here for about 2 years. I am overall happy with this community! Julie, the property manager does a phenomenal job with taking care of any issue that need to be addressed. Thank you Julie for being so understanding with any issues I have, between my maintenance, packages, fedex and the gate remote. Treating me not as a tenant but more as a friend. Maintenance has been absolutely hands down the best. Calling before coming to the apartment. They keep you posted on what is having to be done and explaining. Johnny, Q and Dee Maintenence staff are incredible and friendly! Nate and Alison do such a great job with community events always fun and organized! It’s nice to have that at the community you live in. Parking is at times a slight struggle but it’s a safe community so with all the lighting. The walk is nice! I have no intentions on leaving. I highly recommend these apartments. If I could give more stars I would. Thank you Preston Peak for being so good to your community! Incredibly grateful.
