    After living South of the river for many years, I moved to Platform Apartments in June 2019. I am immediately found the location to be convenient to all my commutes…both for business and fun. I can catch the MetroRail and be downtown in less than 10 minutes!!!The community offers resort style amenities with 2 gyms, 3 pool areas and a dog park. The Greystar management, leasing and maintenance teams are all friendly, responsive and attentive to the needs of the residents.Whether you are looking for a transitional place to live or a new place to call home, I highly recommend you check out Platform Apartments.

    We moved in May 2017 and have been loving it here since. Julie went above and beyond to help us find the perfect unit, Brandon and the other staff are always so sweet and helpful, and the pool is probably one of the best you can find outside of downtown. I recommend looking for a unit in building 1 to be close to the amenities and avoiding the building closest to the metro rail because it does get loud there when the train is coming.

    I just moved in about a month ago. So far, no problems have come up. Every concern I have had has been very quickly resolved with the assistance of Hector at the leasing office. Hes been super helpful with the move-in and the leasing documents (and made a really stressful period a lot less so). The apartments themselves are very clean and nice!I would say that they are a bit hard-to-reach over phone/email but if you just go in person you can easily fix all your issues.

    I’ve been residing at Platform for over a year and have enjoyed my stay for the most part. The location is great and I enjoy the pool and gym. I will I don’t appreciate the added costs to my rent which add up up to $100-150 a month including the Fetch delivery which I don’t use but is still required for residents to pay for. Also, my packages have a difficult time getting delivered because the guest codes don’t work and there’s another set of doors after gaining entrance to the building to be able to go upstairs.The front desk is prompt with responding to any issue. However, there hasn’t been a solution with the delivery package situation.Grounds are generally kept clean and I do enjoy the events offered for residents.

    Ive lived here ~2 months now and the apartment and facilities are fine, mostly as advertised. We have had several issues that have popped up in our time here that keep me from recommending the place to others. We have had appliance issues resulting in about 2 weeks without a dishwasher. There are also several fees tacked onto the rent, some of which were outlined in the lease, and some that are not. The leasing office has very limited hours and is hard to get into contact with. Editing to add some stars because the leasing office have been super helpful to get my towing fee credited. Thanks Hector!

    I had a smooth experience with getting my lease. I worked with Hector mainly, and a little bit with his supervisor, Cynthia. They helped me get through the approval process for discounted housing, without a problem and held my apartment for me during the whole process. They were very kind as well. Communication was a little slow, especially virtually; I mostly had to go into the office in person to get updates. But I think that was the only negative. The facilities are very nice and I haven’t had any issues so far.

    I swear to good the only person running the show is Hector. For the longest time, I always saw him in the office and he was getting things done! He really checked in with us to make sure the service he provided was amazing and good things done. He is so sweet, wonderful to talk to you and has the biggest heart. Youre reputation exceeds itself. Best Leasing Manager in the game. Ive never had a leasing manager that truly cared about their residents. Thank you for all you do!

    Hector and team have been very responsive. Been here for 3 years. No complaints. Thank you to you and your generous staff! I do think your amazing complex should have security cameras. Could be a great investment and create a layer of relief when unexpected things happen. Make residence insurance process seamless.

    I recently moved into the Platform apartments in Austin and my experience has been great! The leasing office was very responsive every step of the way and made the process easy being in Seattle when I was signing my lease. Also, the community and apartment is beautiful! I love my unit and all the amenities from the pool, exercise room, etc! Highly recommend for anyone moving to Austin!

    We stayed in one of the rental units while visiting my brother in Austin. It was such a fantastic experience! This was our first vacation weve taken since our daughters were born, and they LOVED being able to be within walking distance of their Uncles place! The staff was super friendly and the unit was clean and well stocked with necessities. We will definitely be staying again during our next visit to Austin! 10/10 recommend!

    I have been living here for a few months and I cannot thank the staff enough for all they have done to help my move. The community is so nice not only the curb appeal but all my neighbors as well. I really feel like I’m living in a true representation of east Austin! The things that really turned me on to Platform during my search is it’s adjacency to the Metro Rail. I don’t have a vehicle so this is an amazing feature I am able to hop on and get to target, H-E-B and the domain with so much ease! I love riding the rail!I also love that we have not only Hello Alfred but also Fetch now! Everything that I order or need service wise gets valeted straight to my door! My life is so easy and so automated it’s amazing! We even have a nest thermostat! I have been able to work from home and still have time do the things I love around the city without having to worry!! Literally love how catered I am here at Platform and how I have been able to custom fit all the amenities and services to my lifestyle! Maintenance is also super fast and friendly! You guys deserve 10 stars!!!!

    The Platform Apartments is such a great place to stay in Austin! It was perfect for my brother and I’s first time visiting during the summer. The rooms are very nice and the services are awesome too. Love that pool area!Cynthia was also super accommodating to our needs and was able to help us out whenever we needed anything. So thank you Cynthia and thank you Platform for such an amazing stay! 10/10 experience would recommend!

    Weve lived here for about six months with no complaints and have been really impressed with the staff, location, and noise levels.The maintenance staff are always so quick and take care of our requests, basically less than 24-hours after entering them. Very special shoutout to Miguel for fixing our HVAC issue so quickly. Every technician is so prompt and polite. No issue is too small.The front office staff are also awesome and always available to assist! The resident events are neat too, such as farmers markets and food trucks! Really cool events Ive never experienced at other complexes.I definitely recommend living here if youre looking for a place near downtown (about a 10 min drive) but still has plenty to offer within walking distance. The city train and bus are right next door, but they are so quiet you wouldnt know they are there. Really couldnt recommend this place enough!

    Thanks to Heaven, my entire leasing process was easy and stress free! She had no problem answering all of my questions and she went above and beyond to ensure that I was fully satisfied with my new apartment. Not only does she have a warm, friendly personality, but shes super knowledgeable about the complex too! I mean, what more could you ask for? Shes easily a five-star employee and a shining example of an ideal Resident Events Coordinator. She deserves to get a raise ASAP!

    I’ve been here 6 months now and can say this is one of the best complexes I’ve ever lived in. Management fixed my water filter quickly and they are very friendly. Not sure why people leave such negative reviews but hopefully those of us who really enjoy the complex will bring the score back up.Amenities are top notch, the gym is clean, and the pools are so nice during warmer days in Austin. Location is great, with most bars and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. It would be nice to have more walkable places nearby but rent price is cheaper than you’ll find on east 6th or downtown.

    Platform is a top-notch community that is well maintained and has all the modern amenities. The apartments are all very spacious with high ceilings. The pool and common area are beautiful. Its next to a thoroughfare so if you want complete quiet then this isnt for you. For me, the activity and proximity to the train station give it a fun city feel. Im a very happy new resident!

    After touring 10 different Apartment Complexes in the Austin area, I decided on Platform as my new home. The whole leasing process couldnt have gone any smoother all thanks to our wonderful Leasing Professional, Sal Vera. From the initial tour, to my second visit, and up until my final decision, Sal was extremely professional and went above and beyond to ensure all my questions were answered. It was clear that he genuinely cares.Almost a month in now, I am extremely happy with my choice of Platform. The layout of the apartment is very open and spacious with a beautiful kitchen. Amenities are top notch, including a huge 24 hour gym, 3 pools that are nearly complete, and an awesome club room area with free arcade games.If youre in the market for a new apartment, I highly suggest you pay Sal a visit and take a tour of this amazing community.

    That was a great experience to live in this apartment complex. I spent there a year and so regret to move out because of the work in other State. I can only appreciate the management who helped me with any of my questions. Thanks them for allowing me to choose the apartment from the some was offered! OMG, I received a perfect veiw on Downtown and sunset!! Its a magic everyday! Very quit area around, only private houses, not toller than 2 floors. It very important when you work from home and nothing is bothering you. For jogging and walking is a good area, one hugh park started next to comlex. Everyday garbage sevice from apartment door was really helpful! After, when I was needed to find apartment for myself I used Platform Apartments like a standart to compare to the new one. Because everything good in comparison!!

    I have lived at Platform for over a year and unfortunately have to move back south. If I was staying on the Eastside I would renew my lease no question! The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious, the gym and pool area are a 10/10. The staff are always so helpful and accommodating with my questions and needs. Will definitely miss this place!

    This is my first time living in a proper apartment complex rather than a home or privately owned condo. Based on stories from friends, I came in ready to play defense. I expected that an apartment complex would have operational problems, that Id struggle to get a hold of management or maintenance, and that I would be nickled and dimed. Despite those expectations, I planned to spend one year at this complex as I got to know Austin better. Then I thought I would buy my own property and move elsewhere in the city.Im pleased to report that my apartment experience has not lived up to my expectations. Platforms property layout, room layout, and finishes are all beautiful. There are great amenities like package lockers, a clubhouse, and an office space with print services. The gym in particular is well-equipped and clean, and the pool and courtyard areas really are as impressive as they look in the photos online. Details like restrooms and water fountains in the courtyard demonstrate the attention to detail that makes a complex like this really livable.The complex is also nicely nestled between the fun of downtown and the convenience of Mueller. Theres easy access to most major highways and the airport, and its nice that the station is right there. There are also always Jump bikes and Lime/Bird scooters available, making it really easy to get anywhere. Parking has been limited lately as theyre constructing a new building, but Ive never not been able to find a spot.Best of all, Ive lived here for four months now and while there have been a couple of issues here and there (for example, I wasnt given my mailbox key upon move-in, I found bugs in my apartment in Week 2, and a couple of times Ive received notices that my packages were being returned to sender because I hadnt picked them up on time [I travel for work, sometimes weeks at a time, so this is difficult for me]), management has been extremely responsive and easy to work with, and all is have been promptly resolved.There have been a couple of surprises, like how the noise from the train platform is almost nonstop, and how only Building 1 has an elevator. But overall Id say that Platform is a great property with great management. While it is on the pricier side, Ive been very happy here and Im already planning to stay for another year, barring a significant increase in rent. Ill keep you posted if anything changes!

    Great East Side Austin Community with a knowledgeable staff who is always willing to assist me and answer my never ending questions. AMAZING Pool area that is well maintained year round. Fitness facility is well kept. Pet friendly…and they have fun community events throughout the month! We will definitely be renewing our lease here!!

    Sal and Nick were immensely helpful at every step of the process and highlighted all the myriad amenities that the complex offers as well as the surrounding area. In all honesty, if it werent for them, wed probably have chosen the condo, but after being here for a week, we are very pleased we choose the platform.Pros: Resort setting with modern finishes and plenty of space. Beautiful courtyard with 4 pools. Game room, espresso machine, gym, beautiful indoor sitting area. On site storage for a reasonable fee. Covered parking soon. Oh, and a very nice little welcome bag! Great touch!Cons: construction during the daytime, so that may annoy some who are facing outward towards it. Not too bad really. Some scuffs on surfaces that need to be noted when you move in. Also not too bad.Kudos to Sal Vera and Nick Forte once again! These guys are the best and will make you feel at home, rather than just at an apartment. Give them a call and youll see what I mean!!

    Recently visited Platform as a guest and the property is BEAUTIFUL! I stayed in their 2 bedroom guest suites and it was nicely furnished with lots to do around the area. Its located near the metro rail with quick access to downtown and local eateries. The management is friendly and accommodating and made me feel like an actual resident. If I lived in Austin, I would definitely be checking out this property as a place to call home!

    These apartments here are what every apartment should be like. The staff is beyond friend;y, very quick to respond, and always eager to help. I have been renting for a while and the process to get into these apartments was stress free and very easy. The manager here is not afraid to show her face and participate in helping her staff. The complex itself is one of the most beautiful ive seen, especially for the price. I HIGHLY recommend this place for all its worth.     Great complex and even better management.I dont normally write reviews but when I do...its when theyre well deserved.Taray and Nick helped us coordinate our entire move from San Francisco: taking pictures of potential units/views and sending to us directly to decide which one to go with sight-unseen. They were perfect in how they handled it all and put up with all of my calls and emails 😉.We were at one of the nicer/newer buildings in SF and are blown away with the white glove treatment were getting here at Platform, in comparison. In our experience, Management has the ability to make or break the quality of life in an apartment complex. The Management team here at Platform truly is solid ✊Couldnt be happier with the complex, the entire moving experience, and most importantly the management!

    My wife Alyce and I moved to Platform in May. It was the first place we looked at and it was originally a little out of our price range. However, we viewed about 6 other apartment complexes around the city in comparable ranges and none of them could hold a candle to Platform in terms of an updated modern style and overall proximity to the city. While the pandemic has been a bit of a bummer, the amenities are just amazing. The pools are incredible, full gym, food trucks pop ups on site, and valet trash from your front door (it sounds like a silly extra but so convenient). The dedicated weekly grocery delivery every week has also been a lifesaver during the pandemic. We feel really lucky to have ended up here.

    Perfect location, great amenities and exceptional staff! I worked with Cynthia Labrado to find my new apartment and felt that I was taken care of every step of the way! Shes fabulous.     My overall experience at Platform can be summed up in one word, exceptional. The management and leasing team became like an extended family; with an authentic passion for what they do and true interest in the well-being of their residents. Its hard to describe Platform as an apartment building as it felt so much more like a resort - from the amenities to the programming to all the innovative offerings they provide, I felt like I had discovered an exclusive club in the heart of Austin, TX.I suggest everyone discover the magic that is Platform.

    I lived here for a year and it was a pretty good experience despite rent being on the high side. One of the elevators in my building was out intermittently for a few months, but usually for not more than a day at a time. I was not a fan of the online payment/maintenence request website and it was inconvenient that my roommate and I were unable to pay half rent separately. That said, the staff in the office was always helpful and friendly, Emily in particular always made a point to resolve any issues or answer any questions I had throughout my time living there.

    My roomie/coworker and I just signed our second lease here at Platform! Weve loved the location, amenities and staff a whole lot thus far. Were near a lot of open green space which is great work outdoorsy folks and those with pups! HEB Mueller is about a 7-10 minute drive and there are tons of new food spots at walking distance.

    Platform is a really great apartment complex. The amenities are amazing, especially the pool. They also offer a free tidying service once a week which makes it that much better. The staff is friendly and maintenance is always prompt. Great place to live.

    Nice apartment complex. Directly on the rail line. Parking fills up sometimes for guests and residents alike. They offer valet trash and concierge package delivery. The package delivery is both nice and headache. I dont live here, to be fair, but I visit this complex a couple times a week to visit friends. Im considering moving here for the location. Very convenient place to get an uber/lyft downtown. Nice place overall!!

    Only thing better than this apartment complex is it’s employees. Everyone from the manager to the maintenance workers have been nothing but outstanding.     Simply love the location and all the amenities. The pools are my favorite and there is so much outdoor space. The staff is very friendly and have resolved some minor issues. And, I am enjoying the return of events too.

    Platform is so great and attentive to their residents. The do giveaways, host vendors with free stuff, resolve conflicts quickly and they are so nice. The maintenance staff is so quick and attentive and the office staff are so helpful.

    Absolutely love everything about my new home and it is conveniently located to some cool restaurants and the rail station. The moving transition was fairly easy and both Michelle and Cynthia helped me and answered all of my questions.

    I love the amenities at this apartment!!! I love the convenience of everything and the great staff. Having good staff makes all the difference my last place was awful and never resolved issues. You just cant beat the price with this location and this many amenities!

    I love the people, the amenities, the neighborhood, so much about this place. We even just referred two friends to move into the complex from Connecticut! But the Airbnb during a pandemic and the condition of the dog park is really terrible!!

    Very nice complex with an even nicer staff. A hidden gem on the east side of town with many great restaurants/coffee shops within walking distance. Would recommend to anyone wanting the downtown experience without the stress!
