Moving to a new state with no family or essentially no friends, I cannot stress enough how welcoming and kind the leasing agent Kori was with my move.I was between two apartments and ultimately decided to live here. A big factor that played into that decision was the help and responsiveness I received from Kori. For almost a week straight, I think I called her everyday, several times a day, with new questions I would think of. Every time she would answer the phone, she was kind and professional and never once seemed aggravated or dismissive of any of my questions. On top of being so helpful, she’s extremely friendly and helped make this place feel like home.This is my first time living in an apartment complex and my experience has been terrific. I appreciate the security guard on patrol at night in parking garage. There has already been a resident giveback. They keep up the property so well, especially on cleanliness of the elevators. In addition to Kori, I had an issue with a package that was completely unrelated to the complex, but the leasing office was so kind and empathetic on trying to help me resolve it. Plus, I’ve already met so many kind residents here.Additionally, to emphasize how the leasing office goes above and beyond for their residents, I had to gain access to my keys before the leasing office opened due to when my movers were arriving. They allowed me to do this because they could tell I was in a bind. They did not have to accommodate me, but they did and I think that speaks volumes.Overall, it has been a very positive experience and I cannot thank Kori enough!

I recently had the pleasure of touring an apartment complex with the help of Josue, and it was a fantastic experience. From the start, Josue was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable about the property. He took the time to walk me through all of the available units, highlighting the features and answering all of my questions with patience and clarity.Josue was also very attentive to my needs and preferences, offering suggestions that suited my lifestyle. Elizabeth at the Pearl is absolutely amazing. I just relocated to Houston a few days ago. A native Washingtonian (DC) and lived in Dallas for two years. I love Houston and this is where I should have originally relocated too. I traveled to Houston and toured over 12 properties. The Pearl was my last stop and was not on my original list before heading back to Dallas. Elizabeth made room for me on her schedule to tour. She showed me two apartments. I fell in love with the 2 bedroom. It exceeded my expectation including size, amenities and location. Elizabeth walked me through the process and I immediately applied for the apartment that night. Elizabeth made sure all of my needs were met. She is very professional, inviting and has good energy. I highly recommend speaking with her if anyone is looking for a new apartment in the River Oaks. I am very happy with my choice and Kudos to Elizabeth for a job well done. She is truly a value-added to the Pearl of Midlane at River Oaks.

I looked at 10 apartment complexes around this area. The pearl was an easy choice not only because of its beautiful finishes inside the units, endless parking, secure package drop off, but the customer service offered by Elizabeth was OUT OF THIS WORLD! I told her all my priorities and she made it her mission to find the closest thing to what I needed. She gave me a tour and a rundown of the process, I understood everything and was clear on how to proceed. I am not one to commit on the spot, but I had no hesitation after my experience with her. ALSO, this was all happening with her ALONE at the office managing incoming customers as well! And she gave everyone the same attention and respect. Someone needs to give this lady a promotion because I havent seen a leasing agent so nice in my life. Thank you Elizabeth! (I also never write reviews)

I had a wonderful experience with both the residents and the leasing management at these apartments. I live next door at the James and Ivy. My grocery order was delivered to the Pearl Ln apartments by Favor. The resident put my groceries in his refrigerator over night to keep them fresh and posted on their apartments bulletin that he had received an incorrect order! The apartment management, Raven, called the resident and got the details. She arranged with him to have the groceries delivered to their front office. She then called me and let me know what time I could pick them up. Raven really went out of her way to make my life easy and to get my groceries back to me. The entire office was very sweet when I went to pick them up. I could not have asked for a more appropriate and positive experience. Thank you resident, thank you Pearl Ln Apartments, and thank you times ten to Raven for going out of your way for me!

Absolutely LOVE this property. Lived here several years back then moved out of state. The new upgrade renovations done to the units have left this place stunning. The office team and property manager Raven are all very nice and helpful. A huge factor on my choice to return to this property was how prompt the maintenance team handles their work orders request. Oscar is the new maintenance manager and I’d like to give him credit for that. For anyone new to the city or looking for a change of scenery. This is the place to be. Location is everything & this property is in the heart of it all.

The area was safe, it has a great community, and Elizabeth and Theresa in the office always went above and beyond to look out for us. My s/o has lived here for the past 3 years, and I am going to be moving in with him next month. Elizabeth and the office manager were extremely kind, and accommodating. They allowed us to tour the 2 bedroom model unit freely, and gave us all our options. To be honest you really cant beat the price, for the location and square footage of these apartments!

Lived at this property for a little over a year. And I definitely feel like it was worth the rate I was charged. It is in an amazing location and the amount of square footage you get at such a reduced rate is far beyond any other property located inside the loop. That being said, this is an older property, albeit newly renovated so there are just some issues that will come up as a result of that - the water was shut off once every 1-2 months due to plumping repairs, the gate was in need of repair pretty frequently, there were brief power outages about once a month. If you are looking for a brand new, state of the art, luxury property, this place likely will not check those boxes. But I always felt safe, never had any issues with break-ins or theft (despite the gate being broken numerous times). The rate was also incredibly below my budget. The on-site team did what they could to keep the property as clean as they could. The leasing staff was excellent, they were very responsive, attentive and constantly went out of their way to address issues/concerns. Honorable mention: Eric Giron. He was absolutely incredible, kind, knowledgeable and helpful. He was the agent I signed my lease with and I was so happy to see him when I turned in my keys and fob. He is so hardworking and knows the residents and property like the back of his hand, so glad I was able to say goodbye to him. He deserves a raise and a promotion!

Fairly priced apartment complex in River Oaks. My first couple months there were some issues with resident adherence to policies (pet waste, noise, smoking). I communicated my concerns to the leasing team every time and they have continued to work to eliminate the issues and locate responsible parties. None of the issues I have had are unique to this property but rather come along with living in multi-unit properties. The leasing team has continued to handle concerns, communicate, and put on events to keep residents engaged. Some events have been food trucks, restaurant-hosted happy hours, pool parties, tequila tastings, etc.Maintenance is great, they stay on top of concerns submitted and the guys are nice.The area is nice and very convenient, there is a train behind the property but it usually foes not blow the horn as this is a no-horn zone and they can be reported for doing so.

I moved in less than two weeks ago but I am absolutely loving it so far. My apartment is so nice, maintenance has been very responsive, and the other tenants have all been very kind and polite. Also - there are so many dogs!! Its amazing.

5 stars from me. This has been one of the best apartments I have lived at in Houston and I would not hesitate to come back. I work in the Galleria area so the location is incredible. It is so easy to get around the city in practically any direction. I travel often and Hobby airport is a quick 20-25 mins away. There is a Target that is about a block away where you can quickly pick up anything you need on the go. River Oaks District is within walking distance and has some of the best restaurants the city has to offer.What truly separates this place is the first class management. I would put in a maintenance request and the service would be completed THE SAME DAY. They would also follow up with a survey to make sure the request was completed to my satisfaction. That speed and level of service is extremely hard to find in most communities. Plus, my unit was recently renovated and felt like new. If you are looking for a place in the Galleria area you definitely have to check this place out. I’m very happy I lived here.

I havent even moved in yet (move in on the 25th) however I went in and spoke with Elizabeth today and went on my tour, it was so wonderful I walked out, applied online, and signed my lease 30 minutes later! lol Im big on energy and only wanting to deal with good people and she was amazing!!!!! Having her in that office is undoubtedly the greatest asset. The property itself was beautiful and clean, I saw them cleaning while I toured. I was very impressed and look forward to getting my keys!!

My wife and I have really enjoyed living at 2121 Midlane. The leasing office is always very helpful if there are ever any issues and maintenance always comes very quickly. We both like to go running, so the safety and calmness of the neighborhood around the apartment is wonderful. There is a built in security system and the locks and doors are very secure. The gym, pool, and other amenities are amazing and are never too crowded. Parking is great for residents, but especially great for guests. There is usually street parking available whenever people come over, but if those are full there is an entire lot inside the gates dedicated for visitors. It is very dog and pet friendly. We have our cat here and have not had any issues. The dog park by the parking garage is perfect if you are a dog owner and there are lots of great places to take your dog on a walk around the complex. We dont have any of the complaints that most of our friends in apartments have. All of our neighbors are very friendly, the apartment layouts are nice, and parking is great! We recommend 2121 to any friends looking in the area.

Edit after 5 years of living here:I am SO saddened to leave. I have to move closer to work and Im going to seriously miss living here. The apartment is quiet and awesome. In a great walkable area.... And the leasing office is super attentive to all of our needs.I will truly truly miss it.====Been living at 2121 Mid lane for about a year. Love it 10/10. No complaints. The remodeling also looks amazing now :) seriously fabulous place to live.

Very nice property, well maintained, and great value. The location is great considering its a quick drive 610 and is walking distance to shopping and some restaurants. Considering at the time of this writing, only a couple of negative reviewers felt inclined to comment and there are nearly 400 apartments in the complex, I would say those choosing not to comment have been content and happy with the apartments versus the couple that have had issues.To comment on some of the other reviews comments, the hallways are loud. Luckily, I dont sleep in my living room and have never had any issues with hallway noise other than hearing loud neighbors when Im watching TV or in my kitchen. Further, to make this a non issue, the alternatives are either to dampen it when carpeting as one suggested (prepare for the smelly hallway issues) or to have exterior hallways (A.C. bills and bugs about to increase when your interior wall is no longer climate controlled). I wouldnt change it considering the alternatives.Another comment was the garage safety. I have been here six months and am aware of one break in. I have never felt uneasy in the garage or this area in general, and I would guess someone getting singled out for a break in probably has something of value sitting out.

I had a good experience living here. They were quick to hop on maintenance issues. The price is a little cheaper than the surrounding apartment complexes but it’s still high for a one bedroom IMO, which is why I moved out.

Ive enjoyed living at this apartment complex for the following reasons: 1) dog friendly 2) safety 3) spacious for price (which are about the same as all complexes inside the loop) 4) neighbors are friendlyAnother great perk is that the pool is never super busy or reminiscent of the Jersey Shore. You can go down there with some snacks, music, and friends and truly enjoy yourself without worries youll get mauled by some rowdy post-college bachelors. The only thing that they wont tell you is that the position of the pool makes for a short day in the sun - it starts disappearing behind the building around 3:30pm.The location has a walkability to it - Target, restaurants, a few bars, Highland Village shops, hair salons, etc. The gym is never packed either. The train is nearly unnoticable and the apartments are fairly quiet.The cons are the following:- during the dead-hot summer days the garage smells funky- the dog park isnt so clean (poop, smell)- common areas (elevator, coffee lounge, hallways) are often dirtyThe staff and maintenance folks are extremely helpful, though, and they all seem to get along. Also, there is always a ton of parking and there is street parking alongside and in front of the building...no fighting for spots or threats of towing.
