I came by because I have a friend who lives here and was highly recommended by her! I’m not going to lie I read all the reviews and had second thoughts I been on the waiting list for a little bit. I met Leasing Specialist Daniel I must say he gave me the upmost customer service was very attentive and answered every question I had! If I had any doubts after the interaction I had with Mr.Daniel that went out the window thank you so much for making me feel at home and very important! I recommend Mercantile Square Apartments.

Joswell was an absolute help for my family and I today. The AC wasn’t working in our unit for almost 36 hrs and although we kept requesting for maintenance the office wasn’t really working to solve the issue and my family and I were suffering, feeling lightheaded due to the heat. I was beginning to worry about my daughter passing out bc she has a lot of health issues and kept complaining about the heat getting to her. Around 5 on my way back from trying to report the AC issue to the office again for what seemed to be the 3rd time today (which wasn’t possible to do because the doors were closed) I was lucky enough to bump into Joswell while he was about to leave for home and I just thank God he was kind enough to come and take a look. The cool air is finally coming in and we couldn’t be more thankful. The 5 stars are exclusively meant for Joswell by the way!

The apartments here are very decent. I know this is out of their control but i would give a 5 star review if it wasnt for all these bad, disrespectful kids running around. I would NEVER send my kids outside with those kids. I believe thats why the pool aint open. These parents need to watch their kids and train them a little bit better. Cursing like they grown and trashing the outsides.

I want to say A BIG THANK YOU to all mercantile office staffs for working with me to secure one of their apartment, you are all awesome but my biggest shout goes to Ms Kiesha Freeman who worked tirelessly with me to finalize everything, I am pleased with the building am in,I love my apartment I can go on and on.

We have been living in these complex over 3 years the whole team has helped us so much throughout the years we are incredibly grateful & happy with all the teams we have worked with , we always felt safe and heard when we had any problems, the Maintenance team has been amazing towards us , they are very attentive, quick & very friendly , especially Josuel & Cristian every single time we have questions or any concerns they are always there to help right away , my Husband & I have felt very grateful with there help over these years !!! Thank you to everyone in the faculty because you made us feel at home since we got here !!!!

Driving by to search for a new area close to work to call home. I did like to keep up as far as the grounds looked, unfortunately, due to the many bad reviews online about some of the same Ole situations that have been happening lately with the apartment leasing agents and management teams, I think I will save an enormous migraine and stay away from this type of issue of dealing with an apartment management team that doesnt try to help tenants stay but rather make it impossible for families to catch-up in order to keep from being homeless. Ive been there and done that. I think Ill stay safe and sound where Im at.

**Maintenance review**Josuel and Christian are excellent handy men very efficient and respectful! Had a few maintenance request I put in on a Friday around 3PM they came shortly after and fixed all my requests before the weekend!

I’m rating based off the experience I had with Aisha! She was amazing. Responsive, quick & super nice! This is my first time applying for a place on my own and she made the experience smooth, easy & hassle free. I couldn’t have been blessed with a better person to help me, she’s the best they come.I love the apartment, a few minor things that aren’t even big enough to mention. All in all a great experience. Super thankful for Aisha’s help and professionalism!

We had an easy application process. Took a few weeks to come back for some corrections, and had to (of course) wait to see if we were approved. Once approved we moved in less than a week later. Damon & another female agent helped us and they also help note that we requested bottom floor 4 bedroom apt. We love the apartment everything has been great so far. Beautiful as can be for a tax credited apartment. Dont let these bad reviews get you down. It is all brand new apartments and the only so many apartment buildings are up, i believe they got new staff from when we first applied. Maintenance guy is On it, we had something missing from our blinds and he installed it right away. Its awesome to be the 1st to ever live in. We are so happy to call Mercantile home.

Maintenance in this building has always been on their job and today is no different, I was impressed with the great job Mario and Josel did replacing my broken fridge within a matter of just a few hours, they went above and beyond for me and I am very thankful. Great Job!

I have to give my thoughts and opinion on here since I have seen several different reviews on staff members. I recently applied for an apartment at Mercantile Square and with living in California and wanting to relocate. Cassie and Mia were a great help. They made sure I received everything that was needed and processed my application in a timely manner. I was approved and told my application would be sent to corporate. I was told from the very beginning that the process for application credit and back ground check takes about 48 hrs but 3-5 weeks for everything to be processed. I am looking forward to moving to Texas and into Mercantile Square.

Very sad to see all the negative reviews here. From the very beginning I was welcomed and made a priority. In the past 4 years I’ve lived in 4 different complex’s and hated every single one. Living here, I have not one complaint. The property is ALWAYS clean, which I know is hard work because there is a lot of disrespectful children that tear things up and litter constantly. Maintenance request are fulfilled within a few days of the request. They actually answer the phone unlike any other complex. The property manager Micheal is TREMENDOUS ( which after hearing he has over 7 different properties to manager, some of those being in Austin I was mind blown). He even went up to my apartment with me as soon as I received keys to make sure it was up to par. Virginia & Ninfa were amazing when it came to the application process which can be lengthy & tiring due to it being income restricted. Overall I love living here & don’t plan on leaving anytime soon. I can guarantee those who have given negative reviews came in disrespectful and ruined their own experience. Keep up the hard work Mercantile Square, you’re doing great!

I went to look at these apartments with a friend and this place is LOVELY! The grounds are beautiful and well kept; the apartment is ADORABLE; the office was cool, clean and very nice and Adrienne was a joy to work with. She is very kind, funny, joyful and such a nice lady! The rest of the staff was kind and helpful as well.

I don’t understand a lot of these low reviews. The staff has been kind since day one in my experience and are very responsive to their voicemails. They remember you by name and are always in a good mood. The buildings themselves are nicer than what you’re paying for and have good central air. Five stars for me.

This place is pretty awesome! Fell in love with the two bedroom. the flooring is awesome. I really like the pool oh and the gym is quite amazing. They staff is super friendly and maintenance is really good too they dont take forever. So far its been really great place and so close to the highway.

She was Simply Fantastic,She took time to explain to us all that it takes to quantify for an Apartment in the Mercantile Square. She took us round a Model apartment. She is Courteous, humble and Charismatic. Her attitude towards us portrayed Candor and .Character.

I have given this site five stars for the reviews. I have not yet seen the property because I live out of state but I do attend to apply. I have submitted my info and I am waiting for a reply. I must say I like the honesty of all whom posted and the response that came back from management or the owner.If I am approved or not I must say that I certainly respect the way that each post was addressed. I felt like all of your concerns where genuinely taken seriously and was reconciled to the best of Mercantiles ability. This community is certainly the best that I have come across so far.

I just want to take the time out to give a big shout out to Ms.Adrienne Today i took a tour of this beautiful property @ Mercantile Square Apartments and all i can say is wow it was beautiful Ms.adrienne was so amazing and very informative about the property on the tour she was very kinda and very professional she explained to me all of the details of property and told me everything that i would need to start the application process. She made me a list of things that i would need to make sure that i didnt forget anything..While on the tour i was very surprised as to how the apartments are very well kept inside and out. Inside the apartment was so nice everything is upgraded with the top brand of appliances and they were in great shape the apartment was spacious the walk in closet was huge and to be honest looking at the property online it seemed to good to be true for the price...well they are all of what you see in the photos they are very sophisticated and have a really nice elegant look if thats what youre going for well this is the place to look...Again Thank You So Much Ms.Adrienne for everything so everyone ask for her...and just fyi this is a real and honest review. The apartments are beautiful and the staff is really helpful! Went in 1/8 to apply and got a update 1/9! Not saying everyone’s application will be speedy seeings how everyone’s situation is different, but be patient. With them being new apartments I can’t imagine it will all be smooth sailing, but so far so good looking forward to moving here

First of I want to say when I read reviews for this place I was super nervous and concerned, with that being said the reviews are extremely opposite of how the ladies at the front desk treated me! I will say the process is a bit intense but the front desk ladies help all the way through!! I’m extremely great full and super blown away how they have made me feel like family! I’m truly blessed and excited to live here!

Mrs. Brittany the assistant manager of this property is what every company should look for in a manager of their property. She is very professionally and uplifting when you enter her office. Mrs Brittany have helped me out with situations in the past few months than the others that was there before( keep in mind I have been here almost 2years). It took a almost a month to get into. Compliance does the most..not the staff fault. Damon was great! Beautiful apartments. You cant choose the floor you live on..atleast I couldnt. Quiet property. Worth the wait.. Floors must be hella thin because my neighbor who chose a 2nd floor apt while I was forced into a 3rd floor with 5 kids which include 2 toddlers..complain damn near daily.. About a 2 year old and 4 year old playing. Walking. Living in their home. We have a noise curfew from 9pm to 8 am. Yes your basically being told what to do in your home you pay for .. So be aware if your neighbor cant deal with noise and they pick an apartment under you. You will be called and eventually wrote up.. Ive exhausted all the things I can do to make a toddler be still in their home.. Im pretty sure im a be asked to move soon.. Which sucks because their just living toddler life..hes a dinosaur and shes a princess.. Whats a paying tenant to do... Oh well other than that they are GREAT...

BRITTANY IS TRULY A BREATHE OF FRESH AIR!!!! I LOVE THE NEW MANGER SHES HONEST, LOYAL TO HER WORD AND WENT OUT OF HER WAY FOR ME!The last Manger TOOK 6 MONTHS!!! To get into these apartments it was SO OVERWHELMING!!! I filled out my application over 12 times.... and you can imagine what I went through! I truly LOVE MY PLACE. Thank you so much BRITTANY 💗

While the website and 3rd party sites state that this is a pet friendly complex (zillow states that large dogs are permitted), I was told by one of their representatives they only accept dogs up to 25 lbs (typical size of a corgi). This needs to be specified on their website and 3rd party listings as large dogs are generally considered to be 30 lbs or higher (even a small lab is typically 40 lbs+). I was looking forward to moving here but will need to look elsewhere that is large dog friendly.
