This is a Non-Smoking, gated complex. Some residents still smoke.They do not understand that they need to get off the property to smoke. No smoking inside any apartment!They can use their remote: walk out the gate. This can be a 5 star once people stop smoking on the premises.

I would recommend Madeira to anyone. My unit was clean upon move-in, and I really appreciated the amount of storage it had considering the square footage. In the one bedroom there are cabinets everywhere, and you get two linen closets, a walk-in closet and a pantry. The laminate flooring and light fixture in the eating area looked very modern from a recent update, which I liked a lot. I also really liked the big windows. Maintenance was always friendly and quick to make repairs, but I am glad I lived on the second floor cause my downstairs neighbors had several leaks during the course of my lease. I always felt safe there, even at night. The neighborhood right nearby is great for going on walks, and I appreciated the proximity to Target and the Hewitt HEB. I am very clean, which is obviously a contributing factor, but I only saw maybe two bugs in my apartment in the whole time I was there. Madeira is more than worth what you pay to live there.If you want to be sketchy and break perfectly reasonable apartment complex rules, this is definitely not the place for you - you will get caught, Charlotte will make sure of it. She does an amazing job keeping the community safe and pleasant, and if you follow the rules and dont cause her problems shell be a great asset to you.

I have been living here with my wife for the past year, and we have loved it! Maintenance can be a little slow at times, but thats because of all the remodeling they are doing after the complex was bought by another company. Manager is really kind and nice to chat with. Surrounding area and neighborhood is safe and fun to walk around. The complex itself has a lot of large trees that look great.

I have lived at Madeira for almost a year and from day one I have absolutely loved it. Any maintenance was answered within 24 hours if not sooner. I was excited to see the pool was operational because most complexes are not so that was a huge plus. They were always willing to work with you as long as you communicated and Charlotte was amazing from the first time I called inquiring. My move in process was seamless and painless, could not have asked for anything better. I would 100% recommend Madeira. The neighborhood across the street and surrounding the apartments is also a very great area.

I have to say, I love my apartment complex. Not only are they listed as a crime free program multi family housing facility. Where the management always has a smile and is respectful and helpful. My surrounding neighbors are truly a small community where I do not have to constantly worry about my children. But also, No matter what day or time, I have to turn in a work order for the garbage disposal, light switch or any other ordinary problem that occurs. With in 24 hours it is fixed to perfection. Even as far as changing light bulbs. Quarterly maintenance is always done on time. Ive never seen a roach or any other insects which is usually a problem in apartment living. The exterminator comes every couple of months needed or not and puts out the gel. Today I came home before any precipitation began and they have already salted the walk ways from the car to the mail box and front office. Also up the stairs and the upstairs walkways. I would without hesitation recommend Madeira Apartments to anyone in the Waco area.

I have lived at Madeira since 2013.I really love my apartment --it is just right for me!Our leasing manager, Charlotte Oliverio is the only one in the office, and. She spends many extra hours working to see that our property and its residents are taken care of.Matt, our maintenance man,works to answer requests in a timely manner and they both are friendly and kind.Hoping to get to stay for many more years!!
