We lived at the MAA Worthington for 4 years and it was just such a wonderful experience and a fantastic places to live. The location couldn’t be better, the leasing and management couldn’t be better, I mostly would want to point out Adrienne, as she has been there the whole four years. Anytime we needed any maintenance was always on top of the most minor needs. Also as an Apartment Locator in Dallas, I’m familiar with most properties in Uptown, and I would definitely suggest to anyone to look at the MAA Worthington.

I’ve lived in MAA Worthington for almost 3 years now. I love the location & get a lot of use out of most of the amenities here. Whenever I create a maintenance request, or if something breaks in my apartment, it always gets dealt with within a day or two. Miguel’s been super helpful & cleaned up after himself when he’s fixed cabinets, lights,& outlets in the past.

I am so grateful to Felix & the management team here, they are more than accommodating. Felix has gone above and beyond and really made my experience one that cannot compare with other properties Ive lived at before. Marissa is the new property manager and she has been excellent with all of my requests. The location is AMAZING, I love being so close to Griggs park and the State Thomas neighborhood. Beautiful scenery. Ask for Felix!

I’ve really enjoyed my time at the Worthington. The 7/11 across the street is a godsend too. The amenities are cool, the pool is nice and the pool lounge is also cool, and the gym is better than a lot of apartment gyms. Not the best gym but it’s functional. I haven’t noticed any egregious cleanliness issue, courtyard is always clean, no issues with paint or structure that I’ve seen. The only thing I’d say is that the locals leave empty alcohol bottles out and about over the weekend but they’re always gone by Monday. The residents also aren’t good at using the trash chute but management always sends out reminders so that’s not their fault and they always clean it up. Matthew at the front desk and frankly everyone there is always super helpful and willing to work with you. Maintenance requests usually get resolved within a week, and if not just ask the front desk to make sure it’s in the system. You can log maintenance requests, change your thermostat, lock/unlock door, change passcode, all from your phone.My only gripes are parking is annoying because the spaces are small, and the hallways could use some more decoration. Other than that though I’ve found this to be a great place to live. I do live on the first floor so I don’t need to deal with the elevator too much but I use it to get to my car, never had an issue.

I have been at MAA Worthington for 3 months now.The amenities are great; the pool, grills, poolside kitchen, gym and terrace on the 8th floor... The pool is packed on Saturday !The location is right on McKinney Ave with Uptown neighborhood behind id.It was the first place I looked at, and I came back to it after looking at so many places !

I enjoy living here. The renovated upgrades are phenomenal and the location is very convenient. I’ve leaved here two years and upgraded to a larger unit and love it even more.

The past 2 years of living here have been great! Every maintenance request I have put in has been resolved in a reasonable amount of time. I never hear my neighbors above or next to me which is a huge plus and the amenities are quite nice. I haven’t had too many complaints living here other than when the elevators break.

Finding the apartment:I moved from San Jose (CA) to Dallas and had 10 days to find an apartment to move into. I looked at a few apartments bear Turtle Creek and Northern Uptown, but really wasn’t finding anything nice for the price range I was looking for. A friend told me to look at Post apartments which are all located around McKinney Avenue (where all of the bars and restaurants are). I got in contact with Deborah Moody at the Post Leasing building on McKinney Avenue who showed us all of the 2bedroom 2bath apartments among the Post locations (there are 12 total I think). She drove us from one location to the next and was very honest in highlighting the benefits and drawbacks of each place. She was very responsive and was even able to get the carpet changed to hard wood at the location I decided to move into. She got the decision back to do so within 24hours if my request. I now have a year lease in a beautiful 1,400sq ft apartment for $1,915/month with a washer and dryer. I’d also like to mention that at all the other, non-post, apartments I visited, the monthly trash/admin/etc fees totaled $55-68/month. At the post apartments they are $28/month. I’m looking forward to moving in and will post how my experience is later. Happy apartment hunting!

Great spot in the heart of Uptown Dallas, walking distance from the entire neighborhood. The other residents seem friendly. The pool/other amenities seem well maintained and high quality. The people at leasing office, especially Chuck and Matthew, have been very helpful. The main drawbacks are what you would get at other Uptown apartments such as certain units getting loud at night. Overall, I would recommend moving here.

The leasing staff are fabulous! I worked with Matthew to see apartments and go over the details. He provided all of the information I needed, patient, friendly, welcoming and answered all of my questions, even provided great tips for the neighborhood and surrounds areas since I’ll be relocating from out of state. Highly recommend working with Matthew when scheduling a tour. His colleague Danielle was also very sweet and helpful! Great team!

I have been living in this building for 7-8 years,building is actually very clean and well maintained I barely have service requests.(great job Mathew), all The managment team they have now are exceptional, I used to have issues in previous years but since asst manager Zack started working there my experience definitely changed he is exceptional, also the new property manager and leasing consultant are so friendly, now Im very comfortable going to the office or asking for anything. Great job and love the new smart lock😉

Beautiful property and great location. Updated and renovated the entire property over the past few years. Asst mgr Adrienne is phenomenal! Incredibly responsive, friendly, efficient, and just a pleasure! So glad she has been added to the office staff. Maintenance team members I’ve worked with are great. Do a good job and very friendly. Just renewed for a 3rd year.

This is a great apartment complex!! For bring right in the middle of Uptown the monthly rent is a great price! The managers of the apartment are great to work with and are very reasonable and very quick to respond to emails. Sometimes the elevators dont work but honestly that factor is insignificant due to only having to wait an extra 30 seconds max. If you are looking for a quiet apartment then Post Worthington is not for you. Its location is right in the heart of Uptown so it can be moderately loud on weekends outside. I enjoyed being around the excitement so I never was bothered by the noise. I went into my lease knowing this and in my opinion added to me enjoying living here. Anyone who gets a lease here and thinks living off of Mckinney street is not going to be loud at times probably didnt do enough research apartment hunting.

When I was looking to move to Dallas, I saw how MAA has a bunch of properties in Uptown and was interested in a couple. When I called, the leasing agents were very professional and helpful. I loved working with Danielle, shes super personable and is able to give great recommendations on location, apartment style, etc.

While my roommate and I have had a few struggles living here in terms of maintenance (dishwasher leaking, clogged drains, etc), Zach in the front office always responded promptly and effectively, and helped get things taken care of. Any apartment complex is going to have maintenance issues, so to me its all about how they respond, and thanks to Zach, things are always quickly resolved.

I recently renewed my lease at Post Worthington. The Staff was helpful and was able to come to an agreeable position. It has a great location in uptown, close to many restaurants and bars. The Gym and the Pool are of the best in uptown while being at a reasonable price.

I loved living at Post Worthington. Phenomenal location with great amenities and exceptional staff. The assistant property manager Dannise Kelley was incredibly helpful with helping me find the right apartment and even when I had to break my lease because of work. All in all I highly recommend living there.

Matthew Kinzer is the absolute best!!!!!!!!!! Anytime I have any questions or concerns he make sure that my questions are answered and make sure I leave out of the leasing office a happy resident. Whenever I have an issue, my issue is squared away the same day! MAA Worthington is such an awesome building and the kindness of the leasing office makes a much better experience. If you are looking for a home I’d advise MAA Worthington.

This is one of the best places to live in Uptown! Post Worthington was mentioned to me by a few friends that lived in the building before and I’m so glad I moved in. Maintenance responds quickly to requests and the staff is always so helpful and friendly! If you have a dog expect it to have tons of pets and treats from the front office!

Matthew Kinzer, leasing agent is the best. He is so friendly, knowledgable and always says hi whenever he sees me. He has called me multiple times following up on maintenance requests simply wanting to make sure the job was complete and I happy. No one has ever offered such concierge service. And I am a Realtor that specializes in leasing!!!!! MAA GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE! :)

I absolutely love Matthew!!!! He is the Bee’s knees!!! He helps me with information that I had no clue of! He is always patient with me. I have a hard time with technology so he assist me with that! Great Location, Friendly staff, Overall I would recommend it as a place to live. I love the Gym improvements done recently, however, I would love to see a 4th treadmill added as there is usually a wait to get on in the afternoon. Also WIFI access in the gym, is almost non-existent. There is TWC/Cable but the signal is so weak, its not worth trying to connect. There is WIFI in the common room across the hall, I wish that could be extended to cover the Gym.

I have been here for 4 months and love it! The staff is easy to get a hold of, maintenance assists you with any apartment related fixes within 1 day, its afforable, great location, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a fantastic apartment complex!

I feel like this complex is very polarizing, since everyone that Ive met seems to either hate it or love it. In my opinion, it really depends on what youre looking for and what your priorities are. I cant say anything for other people, but in my experience it has been primarily positive. Main points and comments:- Location: definitely top 5 apartment locations in uptown. Its right in the center of uptown, and on the main street, walking distance to everything.- Rent: Can be expensive, but given location it should be no surprise. To minimize cost, pick something with less square footage.- Amenities: Pool isnt as big as it could be, but there are a lot of chairs and a gazebo type thing with a fireplace too (Crazy busy during summer). Business center with free coffee anytime. Club room with cable TV and a kitchen. Little shop downstairs. Basketball court and laundry room in 5th floor. Rooftop public patio. Gym with a good variety of equipment (no barbells, yes dumbbells).- Parking: Underground. Spots tend to be small and hard to find. However, there is always a spot somewhere, since they WILL tow if someone parks that isnt supposed to be there. Alternatively, pay for a spot and never worry about it (50/month).- Elevators: There are two sets of two elevators (4 total) and 1/2 elevators of the set has failed many times, but it is incredibly rare for both to fail at the same time (only once, in my experience).- Noise: Primarily from the inner pool area, trophy room (bar), and neighbors passing by or throwing parties nearby. Solution: avoid facing inwards towards the pool and avoid facing outwards towards trophy room. And if you can, get an apartment in the corner so people passing by your apartment and noise from possible neighboring parties is minimized. Walls are thick and windows are well sealed and insulated, so its never been an issue for me.- Utilities: Pretty low overall, hasnt been over $100 once. I like to save energy, and September to right now (April) its been about $40 for both water and electricity. Summer last year was about twice that for me ($80ish) but I live on the top floor so I get a lot of added heat. Either way, apartments are largely pretty well insulated.- Maintenance: The staff is very responsive to maintenance concerns, but they do largely only do so reactively and not proactively. Solution: when you move in be INCREDIBLY thorough and make sure the initial move in sheet is completely filled with all possible issues so they take care of it while youre still moving in.For me, the only con to this place is the price, and to be honest, I pay far less than all my friends that live in the same building and/or area. The noise hasnt bothered me and I love the location, the covered parking, and view.

Posh living in the heart of Uptown. What more could you ask for? Apartments have stainless steel appliances, cherry cabinets, granite countertops, and more. Talk to Kristen Smith about leasing; she is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and patient.
