    I have been living here for 2 months now, and its been a very good experience with the Management and Maintenance teams. Quick responsive to maintenance requests, max a day or 2, they will address the issue, which is very cool in this community.A couple of minor downsides - noise level from heater and nearby traffic can be noticeable at times. But nothing disruptive.Overall, its somewhat old community but affordable price which is the trade-off here. Very nice and cool leasing staffs Danielle, Angel and maintenance support gentlemen Isaac and his team.I truly appreciate the staffs for the prompt response. Thank you.

    Been here for 7 months here and I gotta say, I’m impressed. The office staff is friendly and the maintenance team is A+++ awesome, I’ve had issues with other maintenance guys at previous apartments but not these guys. John and Isaac are super nice, quick to help and do a great job. Honestly they’re one of the top reasons I’ll be renewing my lease.

    Issac performed “Above and beyond” on a plumbing issue assuring I was safe and able to use the bathroom without leaks and fixing all the damage. He was personable and explained through out the process how long the repairs would take. Thanks so much!

    Overall, a pleasant living experience. Nice and quiet. Well-built buildings and breezeways for the apartments even though the interiors seem dated. Beautiful landscaping and amazing large water feature to walk my dog around. I do suggest adding one more dog post station on the south end of the water feature. Have two posts near each other there because so many times the receptacle for collecting filled doggy poop bags gets overfilled, and people leave them on the ground around the post. Also, the supply of poop bags often runs out. So, a creative upgrade to the doggy station area with a second doggy maintenance post added would be optimal.

    Great staff. I am going on one year here and they are very patient and able to answer my questions. I’ve had to have three service calls in three weeks and have been friendly, explain professionally and very VERY friendly with my cats. 10/10

    I have lived here 5 years. 2 different apartments. Both of which are great. Any issues that I have had, they have fixed immediately. The office staff and Maintenance workers are always kind and thoughtful. And work efficiently.

    This place has been absolutely wonderful to me. I am generally use to getting treated like last week’s trash by my old apartment communities, but the Folks here at MAA Watermark have been wonderful. Easy move in process, clean apartment, quick response when needed. The complex is about 20 years old, but they do keep the place fresh and make sure everything is working correctly.I will say, my a/c did go out, but they quickly replaced the entire unit. Can’t blame anyone for that, machines fail.I love this place and always recommend the community to my friends.Thank you again Daniella, management and maintenance, I truly appreciate you all!!!!

    Ishak Fam is very professional and I appreciate that he went above and beyond addressing my concerns with the air conditioner unit. The noise from the air conditioners outside the primary bedroom was loud and unbearable. I was forced to sleep in the living room. Ishak immediately went to work on replacing the units and I now can sleep comfortably in my bedroom. I recommend Ishak if you ever have a problem or concern with your unit.

    Extremely nice closed communiy and well maintained as well.Good thing is, Its a small one in a good way.Maintainance request are attended quick and most of the devices are smart enabled which you can manage from your mobile from locking your main door to thermostate to Kitchen and bedroom lights.

    A very lovely and quiet apartment complex. Next to it is a trail you can walk around. Excellent landscaping and the greenery around is very nice. Maintenance was always helpful, friendly, kind, and timely. Daniella Flores, the Leasing Consultant, is phenomenal at her job! She guided us through situations with immense professionalism and empathy. She thoroughly explained any questions we had while maintaining a positive attitude. I have enjoyed speaking with her throughout my time at the apartment. Angel Ortega has also been very helpful in answering any questions we had. Overall, it was a great experience living there for 4 years.

    I want to start by saying Google reviews are usually only left when someone is upset, which is very unfortunate. I recently, regrettably had to move out of MAA Watermark due to job relocation. MAA Watermark was a wonderful community all around, from the beautiful grounds to the amazing staff! Renee, Angel, Daniella and Jon are true assets to MAA. I miss them and this community!

    Issac saved me! I had an odd maint request as a gecko was trapped in a light fixture. Issac was professional and quickly freed the gecko to an outside patio. Thank you for laughing with me and taking this seriously. I am now gecko free!

    I recently moved in to MAA Watermark and it’s been a great experience so far.     My wife and I have a permanent home in Michigan. We began spending winters in Texas when my granddaughter was born 12 years ago. For the past nine years we have rented Apartments at Watermark in Roanoke, Texas. The first four years were short term rentals. The past five years we have maintained a year around rental. We have found the staff to be friendly and responsive to requests. Staff turnover is high due to young employees having many promotional opportunities in a corporation which owns many apartment complexes. The grounds are well maintained and the inner courtyard is beautiful with a large pond , a well landscaped swimming pool area, threefountains and a bridge with gazebo. Most of the residents take advantage of the short term rental option, so high turnover of tenants. Watermark is located just two blocks from downtownRoanoke with a wide variety of restaurants, shops, library, senior center, recreation center, baseball and soccer fields within easy walking distance.A major advantage for us is that we are only seven minutes frommy sons home. We are only a 15 minute drive from DFW airport for our frequent travels. We have access to good doctors and medical facilities for our senior ailments. We take advantage of shopping, sporting activities and medical facilities at severalother nearby communities such as Southlake, Keller, Trophy Club and Grapevine.Watermark apartments has been a very good choice for us as a home away from home.Donald Baker

    Overall great apartments! Great community with beautiful views all around to enjoy, trail to walk right beside so you dont have to go so far from home for a nice walk. Great staff members, they helped me so much made me feel comfortable every step of the way.

    My roommate & I are about to move out after living here for almost 3 years now. At first this place was horrible, management was impossible to deal with & the place was (still is) very outdated. However, new management took over the office & things started to improve. Maintenance has always been amazing, very responsive & quick to fix things when you put in work orders. It’s not super crowded in the complex, making it fairly quiet & clean. Never really had many issues with neighbors or anything. Wendy in the office is AMAZING, very sweet woman that is very understanding & helpful. Anytime we went to the office or needed to speak with someone we only ever wanted to deal with her. She has & still is working extremely hard to improve this apartment & be there for the residents. Andrew in the office is incredibly rude & has always been passive when I needed to speak with him, but the women are great there. Great location with quick access to Keller, Southlake, Texas Motor Speedway, Tanger Outlets… not a bad area & you’re right on the Roanoke Square with all the restaurants & cute shops. Would recommend living here

    Andy Wiles is always professional with great customer service. Everyone knows I don’t like shoes worn in my place. He takes off shoes without a problem.     This apartment complex is quiet and very beautiful. It really is one of those places that look as good or better than the pictures. Lots of great amenities too. The staff in the office and maintenance are all super nice.My husband loves the catch and release fishing pond. There is a park with a walking trail and playground right next to the complex or you can have a short walk around the pond in the complex. Lots of restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. It is a very short walk to where they do a weekly farmers market as well. Such a great place to live.

    We love living at Watermark Apartments. Jennifer is so kind and helpful, and the other girls in the leasing department. The maintenance men are also very nice and helpful.     This apartment community is in a highly desirable location and walking distance to the rec center, library, and town square (complete with a Spring-to-Fall Farmers Market!). It has a well-designed community layout, well-thought out floor plans, and a lovely pond with fountains for catch and release fishing, enjoying a walk around, or admiring. This is a multi-generational community and I have made quite a few friendships here. It’s quiet and I appreciate the trees, birds, squirrels, turtles, bunnies, lizards, and on rare occasion - a snake (that maintenance will relocate). And it has recycling! - the recycling container is in the SW corner of the complex. I really like the bulk internet - easy to setup, connectivity and speeds have been great, and it’s one less bill to keep track of each month. I’m not a pool goer and I don’t grill food, but many here enjoy the pools and bbq grills. A lot has been done to update the insides of apartment homes and throughout the complex. However, this complex is a 20-year old property with 20-year old issues… inefficient heating/cooling systems, elevated humidity levels inside apartment homes, things failing due to age, etc. I am unaware of any dog breed restrictions. When I moved-in two years ago, smoking was allowed inside the apartment homes - I’m not sure if it still is - I am a non-smoker, but my apartment home has obviously been smoked in previously - I have used high performance 2200 mpr air filters (changed every few months) - and while the indoor air quality has improved in my apartment home, I can still tell that it has been smoked in previously. One thing that is bothersome is that there are lots of wasp nests throughout the roof soffits and fascias - the nests really need to be removed, but in the two years that I have lived here, they have not been - maintenance will come out and spray the nests - but the wasps just return. I rarely ever hear the nearby trains (building 4, pond side) - I think the nearby intersection with the trains has been made a quiet (or quieter) zone. When I moved-in, the office management and staff were very relaxed - possibly too relaxed about a lot of things. The new office management and staff care a lot - and have accomplished a lot of improvements in a very short time. The current maintenance and grounds team is top notch -- overwhelmed, but prompt, kind, and knowledgeable. There are quite a few long-time residents here - people often only leave for a significant reason (moving into a house, relocating for a job, etc.). Hope this helps!

    There are a lot of apartments to choose from and trust me I have chosen most of them. I have never had a good experience with my apartment management. Watermark may not have the flashiest of features, but it is a great community; Quiet and filled with great residents and staff. The staff always seemed happy to see me, even though I was picking up a package every day. The few mishaps that inevitably will occur with any location were address fairly. I cant even count the number of times staff helped my very pregnant wife carry packages to our apartment. The truth is that although you have a lot of options for choosing an apartment, you never know what the staff is like until you live there. They help make it home. Thank you Jennifer Rutherford and all the staff for doing right by my family, and wish you all the best of luck in the future.

    My husband and I are looking to move to Roanoke sometime this summer. Being in the apartment industry myself, I knew they wouldn’t have availability that far out but we really wanted information, pricing, and to see an apartment to prepare us for when we do plan to make our move. Mary, the Assistant Manager, was very helpful and understanding of our moving situation. She took the time to go over all of the necessary information we were needing, walked us around the community, and showed us the exact floorplan we are interested in. I’ve been to many different apartment communities and have had both good and bad experiences but excellent customer service deserves recognition. Thank you Mary! We hope to be a part of the Watermark community in just a few months.

    Just moved in to MAA WateMark Apt. in Roanoke. Right before I moved I noticed that my unit needed to be painted and the bedroom windows were messed up. I asked if they could be fixed and repaint the whole unit before I moved in, they let me know right off they would get both done before my move-in. They were quick and efficient to get my order into the system. I really appreciated the fast service and friendly updates. It made me feel that I was being heard right from the start & not getting push to the side. Thank you stuff from MAA WaterMark Apt. I look forward staying here til my lease is up.

    Our family has lived here for seven months now and everything is pretty much perfect. It is a very quiet community (other than the trains passing through), and is full of friendly neighbors.The staff have been quite helpful and friendly. When we first moved in, we noted a couple maintenance issues, they were fixed the same day. Had many amicable run-ins with the manager, shes been wonderful. And there have been free resident breakfasts catered by Chick-fil-a for the past few months, that Ive been aware of.The only cons are not enough grassy areas to play around, some people leave their dog poop around (currently being addressed), expensive rent for carports and garages, and a well-needed kitchen update.The pros are subjective, and I have too many to note.Hope this was helpful!Sarah (Current Resident)

    This has been a seamless move in experience. MAA made it easy. I found the MAA Connect to be a great service. It is the same provider I had before. The same speed etc and half the price. The maintenance person completed the repairs to those items I discovered on my walk through in a timely and professional manner.

    Lived here for a year and a half (2019-2020) on the first floor in the back of the complex. Really enjoyed living here, price was great compared to others nearby at the time and was down the street from Roanoke Main street. Overall, I would recommend it and didn’t have any problems with the apartment or management.Pros: quiet, peacefully, quick to fix issues when I reported them, no issues with management or staff, no issues with bugs (occasionally but rare), short walk to Roanoke main street area with an ok night life. There is an east side door that opens to the soccer field which has a track around it and is next to the Roanoke Rec Center. They have community BBQs and holiday parties. Never been to one since they stopped when COVID happened but heard they were cool, free food is pretty awesome. The movie Cinemark theater is a 5 min drive and Library is only two blocks away. You are equal distance from downtown Dallas, Fort Worth Denton, and Grapevine/South Lake area is 15 mins away. But it’s a double edge sword because you’ll always have to drive a while.Cons: Somewhat thin walls/ceilings, I could hear noise from my neighbors. Bedroom got very cold or hot depending on the time of year (room was on the side facing east). When I was there you had to get the cable/internet package ($80 monthly / Spectrum), but the internet speeds were ok and cheaper than what I would get on my own. The train can be loud and is constant every day, but after a while you get used to it and stop noticing. They don’t provide you with a fire extinguisher….I don’t know why this bothered me but Watermark if you’re reading this I feel you really should.Moving out: If you’re clean and follow the check list they give you, you’re fine. They do offer a cleaning packing for around 100 bucks to take care of it for you.

    Okay. The trains did drive me nuts. I can look past that. The staff here is absolutely wonderful. We just moved from there to another part of DFW and I can say that I greatly miss all of them including the maintenance crew. The apartments are clean and every time we had a problem it was always fixed right away with no questions asked. Walking down oak St was always fun and the apartment are so convenient to everything while still feeling like youre in a small town. We loved it there more than any other place weve lived.

    I absolutely love this apt complex: it has a great location close to bunch of bars and cafes, the team is simply exceptional (speedy responses, genuine care, and great assistance with any requests), and I love the layout of amenities: everything is kinda in one spot. Also, amenities are clean, new, and I enjoy using them.

    This is one of the BEST places you could select to live as long as you live on the backside of the apartment complex. The trains will drive you bonkers. There is a crossing right across the street and they blow the horns continually, some way more than necessary. Wakes you up three to four times a night. The staff is wonderful, the best one could hope for. The apartments are clean and the grounds are well kept. Dog poop is a challenge, but where is it not?
