    If I could give them more than 5 stars I would! The office staff was beyond helpful and kind. I never felt like a bother when I would ask them questions which is how I have felt at most apartment complexes. They are also all so positive, whenever I am having a bad day I walk in and they just make it better with their positive energy. It has just been such a great experience for me from the beginning. Also the maintenance team is always on top of their game. I have only had a few requests but they always come the same day I put the request in which I really appreciate. Overall I have loved this place and I highly recommend it to anyone that’s doubting living here.

    Ive had several after-hours maintenance issues, and I cant say enough good things about the service here. Every time Ive needed help, Willy (from regular hours maintenance team) and Tyrone (from the after-hours maintenance team ) have come through. No matter how late it is, he’s always responsive, professional, and efficient, getting things fixed quickly. It’s reassuring to know that we have someone like him on call for emergencies.In addition, the front office management has been excellent. They are always friendly, responsive, and attentive to residents needs, which really enhances the overall living experience here. I feel well taken care of by both the maintenance team and the office staff. Highly recommend this complex for its top-notch service!

    MAA Starwood is an amazing place to live but has an even better staff! I feel so welcome everytime i step into the leasing office by the wonderful women working there but especially Mary! Mary is knowledgeable about the apartments and answered all my questions! On top of that her customer service skills are just top notch.

    Im a recent move in. I have now been here nearly 2 months. Location of property is excellent with restaurants and a few bars being within simple walking distance. Easy access to Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive.This is an older property and the grounds are well kept. Whomever maintains the grounds is doing a good job.There is a dog park in middle of community that has been nice and convenient. However, the trash there does seem to always be full and never emptied. And the dog bags have been empty at that spot for a week, so I just bring my own bags.My move in was simple. I could tell they have been hard at work at renovations which turned out nice. Carpet is newly replaced, new blinds, I could tell they installed a whole new bath/shower. Its a good space for the the unit I have.Front staff has been helpful for the time I have been here. Mary Spears has been friendly/professional and addressed a couple of the issues I needed fixed quickly.For me, pool season is over. But the pool here does look quite nice and I look forward to the next pool season. The gym is a bit dated. The cardio equipment could really be updated to newer machines. The weights and everything are still fine. The gym itself is well lit with plenty of natural light.Overall, the property is a great deal. I might provide an updated review after my first lease year completes.

    I’ve had a great experience with the leasing office here. The staff is always friendly, responsive, and quick to address any concerns or requests. Huge shoutout to Brianna, Taylor, and Mary for always being so helpful and making everything easy from the smooth move-in process to the ongoing support, they go above and beyond to ensure everything is well taken care of.

    I have found the staff to be incredibly helpful and nice. The apartment is in a great area. I am so happy to have found this location. I cam from an apartment where the staff did not care.     I love having my own garage. Especially in the summer. The staff I have interacted with are great. I do have trouble with the front door lock but am still getting used to it.My biggest issue is the amount of people not picking up after their pets. Especially since there are stations with waste bags all over the complex.I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking in the area. In fact this is my 2nd time living here.

    Hello everyone! I recently moved into the community and am enjoying it so far. The maintenance team is quick and very friendly. I have had a few issues with appliances and trash but for the most part it’s a good apartment. This is my first place on my own and definitely think it’s a good home for the price and the area for anyone starting out. The apartment is a little out dated but for what you’re paying for in this economy this is a steal. I forgot her name but I believe it is madison. She is an angel she helped me through every step of the process and never made me feel uncomfortable or pressured to live here. I’m giving it a 4 star just because the amenities here are not 5 star but it’s not that big of a deal to me since I have a gym membership down the road. Besides that so far so good! Hope this helps someone who is young like me with making their first apartment decisions. Thank you MAA!!

    A solid you-get-what-you-pay-for apartment complex.Staff are friendly enough, and the amenities like the gym and pool are nice. My two roommates and I live in a 3-bedroom unit and pay about $2,500/mo. for it. We decided recently to renew our lease, which did go up by about $100, which given the recent influx of migrants and our brilliant government printing a boat-load of new currency, was actually less than I was expecting, which was nice.We’ve never really had to put in any maintenance nor pest control requests during our time here, which is also nice. The HVAC units and plumbing always worked just fine, though our building’s water did get shut off a few times for repairs after the recent freeze, which is totally understandable. We were without running water for only a few hours. I just wish our neighbors let the faucets drip…I have two things I can criticize, but neither of them are a big deal. One, the gates that enter the complex are pretty much never functional (but because it’s in Frisco, I don’t mind the lessened security), and two, the key fobs used for the complex gates and garage doors drain the batteries hilariously fast and I have to change them about once every other month. It’s so fast, that I stopped bothering and just use the keypad to open the complex gate (when the gate is working properly) and I just open the garage from the inside.Overall, it’s not great, but it’s a solid and good place to live. Given the location in Frisco, I would recommend this place.

    Good Apartments housing in Frisco centerProsArea is in prime location Starwood, KingswoodApartments are old, but properly renovated.ConDon’t like some of the Appliances provided very old ones in some. Also most of coil electric cooktops are just bad for cooking.Hope they keep it up.

    By far the best place to live in Frisco at a great price. Where else can you find a one bedroom with attached garage? The pool area is stunning at night and not too busy. I cannot wait for the pool party this summer. Madison and Brianna are so sweet. The entire team is always going above and beyond. Thank you MAA!

    We have the highest regard for the maintenance team at MAA!  They respond quickly, work efficiently, and are unfailingly friendly when they come to us.  They are another reason we want to stay at MAA as long as we can.  As we sometimes look at the complex through visitor’s eyes, we talk about what they must see.  The paint job is impressive, as well as the landscaping, and the cleanliness is a huge factor.  However, the icing on the cake is the staff – both maintenance and office staff.Brenda and Don Dillon

    My husband and I just renewed our lease at MAA - Starwood for another year. It was a no-brainer in that we love living here. We continue to enjoy the assistance of both the office and maintenance staff. We also appreciate living in a multi-cultural community. A recent party by the staff included lots of children making gingerbread houses and it was fun to watch their collaboration and creativity.     I am in my 3rd year living in, 1st MAA LaValencia and now, MAA Starwood. My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive whether interacting with the front office staff or the exemplary maintenance team. For the latter, Ive found use of the online maintenance work order system to be very efficient; I cant think of a scenario where I submitted a work order and one of the maintenance team didnt respond as soon as the next day for non-emergencies. I appreciate all of the MAA Starwood team but particularly the maintenance team and the work they do. Thanks Willie, Tyron and Walter!

    Amazing staff members and love the area. Garages are a plus especially for my motorcycle and it’s a quiet community! Also, all of the minor issues with my home throughout my 9 months have been responded immediately and fixed without any problems. Things break/malfunction or have wear and tear over time.....but I really appreciate when techs respond in a timely manner and are very friendly and caring towards the residence. Definitely going to re-lease this apartment in the future.

    I have been living here since August and the girls in the office, Mary, Amanda, & Allie, have been so great! Work orders are always completed quickly and correctly the first time. We especially love the valet trash and ability for garages or carports! Definitely would recommend choosing this place as your new home!

Not only is the management fantastic but the landscaping is kept so great.I did see a comment about the time the landscapers came, but we had just gotten a lot of rain and I was very appreciative they came so quickly to keep the grass under control.*UPDATE* Still love the complex and the management, they are always helpful!

    Beautiful complex, minutes from my job, shopping and restaurants. Great location right off of the Tollway. Ms. Jones at La Valencia made my entire process from application to move-in quick, smooth and devoid of any hiccups or delays. On the day I was to move & sign my lease, I was in and out in less than 35 minutes with keys in hand. A couple of minor things were not in working order upon move-in, but ONLY because it was the weekend - the maintenance crew was not readily available. However, first thing Monday morning the issues were resolved. If this is what is to be expected for the duration of my lease......I will gladly give the team 5 thumbs up. Thank you so much, coming from where I did - this within itself is truly refreshing.

    My family and I moved here last year from Arizona. Overall, our experience with the apartment, management, and maintenance team was really good.Firstly, its an apartment. You cant pick your neighbors, and you sign a lease acknowledging all of the potential charges for pet waste left behind, not complying with valet trash guidelines, parking, general cleanliness expectations etc... its all in your lease. So the expectation of not getting charged for those things when as a tenant you violate those guidelines is unrealistic. There are plenty of reminders that go out through email and sometimes printed notices that show that this particular property has grace for the forgetfulness and business of life that sometimes causes. We were never charged for pet waste, because we picked our pet waste up, but we were charged for leaving our trash can out too long, the day after they sent out a reminder. So that was our fault for sure.Stephanie and her team were always more than accommodating. There was an instance were Stephanie went above and beyond to help us get back in to our apartment after hours when we had locked ourselves out. What could have easily turned in to $300 call to a locksmith, ended up costing us nothing. The maintenance team was always prompt, friendly, and respectful.My only hang up here has been the charges you cant opt out of. You pay for valet trash service and pest control whether you (want to) use the services or not. Thats it!

    This is definitely a review that you will want to read if you are considering living here. My wife and I have lived here for over three years and we have never had a major problem. Since it is just my wife and I and our dog, we prefer apartment living over a neighborhood. That being said, we do like our space as well. One of the most important things to take into consideration is the fact that there could have been more buildings erected on this same property. They chose not to. That is one of the main reasons why we chose to live here. The courtyards are spacious, the lanscaping is always perfect and if people themselves picked up after their dogs, tenants would not be able to say anything negative about what they find on the grass. We live on the first floor and we can hear noise coming from above us every once in a while. That is part of living in an apartment. The majority of the times it happens is because of the children running around being children. When it has gotten to be too much, I have simply walked upstairs, knocked on the door and had a courteous conversation. Problem solved. The trash pickup has never run more smoothly. There were some glitches at the beginning, and that was simply due to the turnover of the company that was hired. Also, if tenants would plan accordingly and took a little more pride in where they lived, maybe they wouldnt stick their trash by the dumpster over the weekend and let it all stack up. In the three years that I have lived here, I have never done that. I dont understand the problem. If I have ever had a maintenance concern, it has always been handled promptly by someone who is courteous. The maintenance staff has always been fantastic and the management staff has always listened to me and treated me with courtesy and respect. Thats probably because that is the way that I have always treated not only them, but my neighbors as well. It really doesnt matter where you live, you want that service and courtesy that makes you feel special. If for some reason you feel like you are not getting it, maybe you should ask yourself if you deserve it. Like I said, we have never had a major problem here. This is truly a great place to live. In a city with many options, the location and price point is unbelievably reasonable. Now if you prefer the sounds of crickets chirping at night, vs Tollway noise, you might want to select a building on the west side of the complex. Thats probably the only thing I have to say that could be viewed as less than positive. But I think that most of you know that if you live by a Tollway, you are probably going to hear some road noise....

    Madison, Karla, Colton and Emily have made moving a breeze. They are kind, and caring of their residents. I can tell from the last couple months of living here that I will be here a long time. I especially love the location- down the street from Legacy West and the pool in this Texas heat is awesome.

    This was our first home when we arrived in Dallas, from the beginning they treated us very attentively and showed us their interest in renting us the 3br apartment. We lived here for the duration of the contract and after that we decided to experience a nice house with a backyard but it was a fiasco in the seriousness and attention of the landlord. So we blindly decided to return to Valencia, they helped us in record time to get a 3br apartment and although it was not in the best aesthetic conditions like the first time, even a welcome gift they definitely left us with the peace, tranquility and respect that is breathed here They are priceless and worth it. Neighbors very attentive, polite, friendly. I would never move from here. However, one suggestion could be to improve the finishes in the 3br apartments because they are a little outdated, especially the kitchen counter. The rest is fabulous.
