The team here has been nothing short of amazing and helpful. If one of your rental requirements are to speak with confident, competent and empathetic folks then the team here at MAA Legacy get it.The neighborhood is quiet for the most part, even on the weekends and being in walking proximity to Legacy shops. I love the fact that if I want to have morning breakfast or a cup of coffee or go to my favorite burger spot or to my favorite spa, I can do that. And I don’t even need to start my car.

I’ve had such a positive experience living here, largely due to the amazing staff! From the moment I walked in, everyone has been friendly and welcoming. I especially want to thank Heather, the property manager, for always taking the time to listen to my concerns. Whenever I’ve had an issue, she made sure it was addressed promptly and effectively, leaving me feeling heard and valued. It’s so reassuring to know that my concerns are taken seriously, and I can truly continue to enjoy my home. Highly recommend this community!

Jo the maintenance supervisor is very kind. considerate and professional. He did an excellent job fixing my shower and other things that needed to be fixed in my apartment. JoWent over and beyond to ensure that everything is taken care of perfectly and efficiently. He also took care of other things that didn’t look right. Jo does not rush to finish, he took time to clean and tidy the area after he finished working on it. He made sure things are completed correctly! Jo is professional, he took time to listen to my concerns and then he addressed all of my concerns . I can say that this is one of the best customer’s experiences that I ever had. Jo is a great asset to this property

We’ve lived here for going on 7 years. 3 different apartments on the property. The location can’t be beat. Huge shaded pond out front the size of a football field is perfect for dog walks or just chilling out. Plenty of places at the shops at legacy to eat or grab groceries from the mart. The property itself is very clean, kept up landscapes and well designed courtyards. The gym is nice, safe, clean and faces the pond. Business office is newly renovated and spacious. Maintenance is quick and efficient, super nice guys too. Daniella keeps the property extremely clean and always a super sweet person. I have two storage closets in my hall and they are priced surprisingly low for the size. A very safe gated community with a high rise parking garage is a huge bonus. The pool is also newly renovated and looks like a resort pool area. The office staff and management have always been great and always give back to the residents with events throughout the year. It’s just an awesome spot which has kept us here this long.

Loved the environment of the office staff. They are what made my tour experience top notch. Of course the community is beautiful but it’s way the staff treated that is like no other. You are family to them. Make sure you ask for Madison! She is hands down the best!

My wife got a new job in the Plano area a couple months back, and we had to move on very short notice. Other apartment complexes either blew us off, or didnt reply to our phone calls or emails. MAA Legacy was the exception. Their communication was prompt and professional, and we had our keys within one week of inquiring about an apartment.I especially want to give props to Brandon, the leasing agent that worked with us, for immediately giving us a virtual tour through facetime after we inquired about an apartment. He took us through the leasing process from start to end, and answered all our questions efficiently and promptly. He even stayed a few minutes after one day to help us with an issue we had. Brandon, and all the other leasing agents made everything a seamless process, and really reduced the stress of a quick move. This is definitely the best experience Ive had with any apartment management.Maintenance is also prompt and professional. We had a couple minor issues on move in, and they were fixed by maintenance the next day. Our trash disposal broke a month in, and they had a new one in the following evening. Like my experience with the front desk, the maintenance here is also the best Ive ever had, they dont nickel and dime you for the small stuff and and scheduling any fixes is a breeze on their portal.The only slight negative here is that if your sensitive to noise, Id recommend getting a street facing apartment instead of a pool facing one. Sometimes, especially on the weekends, theres noise and people talking loudly past 12am in the pool area. If your go to bed relatively early and cant fall asleep with people talking outside, I can see this being a problem. However, if your like me and have lived in larger cities, the noise is maybe a little louder than city background noise, and isnt really an issue.Overall, this apartment complex has been the best Ive lived in. Neighbors are friendly, rent is priced competitively, apartment itself is nice. 10/10 place.

We have lived on this property for 7 years. So we’ve seen a lot of people come and go. The current office staff is incredible. Heather is the best property manager we’ve ever had! And we just love Daniella (Ibarra) who keeps our property so clean and always has a smile! We love our home and all the staff feels like family!

Jo from maintenance is all of that and more. He is very kind and considerate. He takes his position very serious and he goes above and beyond to ensure that everything is taken care of perfectly and efficiently. Even if he sees something else that doesnt look right, he takes care of it. When he completes a request, he takes the extra time to tidy up the area. Jo does not rush to finish, he always make sure things are completed and completed correctly! What I love most about Jo is that he takes the time to listen to your concerns and then he jumps into action to address them. Jo is truly a one-of-a-kind golden asset to this property!

I got an email saying it’s my 3 month anniversary, so here’s an honest review.Living AreaPros: I live in a studio with my partner, and it’s spacious and comfortable. I have a corner unit, so it has a large patio which my pups enjoy. There was a brief period where I had an ant problem but pest control came out quickly and got it fixed. The appliances are modern, and if you have a problem with one of them… maintenance will replace them in 24 hours(in my experience).Cons: These are just small problems that I dealt with instead of waiting for management. The apartment was not very clean. The vinyl floors where filthy, it took me multiple days of mopping and a steam mop to finally get all the filth, and as someone who always gets charged a cleaning fee after moving… I could’ve done a better job. Hopefully the prior tenets didn’t get charged a cleaning fee. The last thing is that everything was loose, so I went under the kitchen sink to tighten the faucet, then tightened the door knobs, again not a big deal but annoying.AreaPros: Great for walking and there’s plenty of things to do. Also there’s a police station a few blocks from the apartments, so the area is very safe. Plus I haven’t had a package stolen.Cons: Due to the pond there’s a lot of mosquitoes and the pond itself is half full. There’s dog poo everywhere, so it would be nice if people could get educated or fined if they don’t clean up after their pet.ManagementPros: They are all very nice and eager to help.Cons: Nothing atmLiving Area 5/5Area 4/5Management 5/5

I moved in April this year and I absolutely love this place. I like that management is on top of everything. Maintenance has never been an issue, response has been quick and efficient. Anytime I need help in the office, everyone is always receptive and helpful. I dont have to worry about lost packages, if I am not at home, if there is a signature needed, it is done and put into my Luxor box. Thank you everyone at MAA for making me feel at home and being so friendly and helpful.

I recently moved in with my husband and have had mixed feelings about our time living here. Mostly good of course. The move in process was horrible. I guess we chose the worst day to move in because they were testing fire alarms and the elevators were not working. It sucks there were no accommodations made to help us get in besides carrying everything up 3 flights of stairs. The apartment itself is gorgeous and we love the trees that surround our apartment and its a very quiet floor which we like as well. There is a dog outside our apartment and all throughout the day you will hear the dog barking and the owner yelling Shut up Dixie!! Its hilarious at times but also I hate that you can nearly hear most things going on outside. Weve had a good experience with the front office, great experience with maintenance, and we love the location we are at. Kinda gives New York vibes. Theyre constantly working on things around the building which can be annoying at times. When youre walking outside theres dog poop everywhere!!! I feel like there needs to be signs are the place saying Scoop the poop or something. It just makes the property look so ugly when residents dont know how to treat their complex well. Apartment is affordable for the area we live in so thats nice.

We are blown away by how accommodating all staff have been. This apartment complex has been good to live in. Of course it’s not perfect and there’s small maintenance issues that can be fixed but overall the experience has been good. The apartments are in prime location and you’re surround by a small lake and shopping centers with a lot of great restaurants. I really enjoy the Legacy area, it’s known to be nice and safe for people. Unfortunately my company will have a return to office policy and my experience will be cut short. Shout out to Heather and Caleb for helping with the transition out process, overall MAA is great to be apart of.

I would give this community 5 stars only because of EVA! She is timeless in the way she treats everyone and she has been an amazing asset to this community after living here for now over 4 years..... We choose to live in an specific area for a reason that requires great service and unfortunately she consistently drops the ball.

I have leased multiple times with MAA Legacy. We love the community, location, the value and the staff!Recently, I returned from extensive travel in need of an additional rental. I reached out to Eva who has assisted me with my past MAA Legacy leasing needs and she responded in her usual caring, prompt and attentive manner. Her immediate reply, her ability to listen and understand my current needs, her knowledge of current available inventory, and her energetic sense of urgency made it possible for her to assist me in to determine the best lease option and secure my lease all within a couple of hours after I had initially called her! And this has been the same experience I have had each time I have leased since Eva has been at this location.The maintenance crew are very nice fellas and quick to respond when needed. The leasing manager was helpful as well during the leasing and move-in process.I recommend the MAA Legacy apartment community for its location, value and customer service. And, special thanks to Eva for all she has done to help me make this home - again!

MAA Legacy is a great community to live in!1. I was new to the States, searching for apartments, and obviously, anxious with a 100 thousand questions before choosing the best possible place. I stumbled upon MAA Legacy while checking out other communities nearby and everything clicked. All the folks (Caleb, Eva, Aaron) in the leasing office were extremely friendly and accommodative to take me through the process and move-in. Special mention to Caleb for patiently answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable at MAA Legacy.2. There are many happening places (restaurants, malls, theatres, offices, lake, etc.) close-by to keep oneself active.3. The maintenance staff was prompt and most of my concerns/issues were attended to quickly

Love Love love living here. The complex is walking distance to everything The Shops of Legacy has to offer and the neighbors I have met are very friendly. The Leasing management team always go out of their way to assist the residents, as well as the maintenance team is by far the best I have worked with. They definitely have a great team working here. Everyone is friendly and professional and they handle your questions or issues in a timely manner. Their online portal is easy and simple to navigate thru as well. The property is very safe and always clean. You can always find someone willing to help you in their leasing office. They are animal friendly, have a free gym, a workstation you can print and fax from as well as monthly events for residents. Rent prices are competitive, there is a parking garage and you can have laundry in your unit or use their community laundry room. The pool is clean and delightful to take a dip in and there are a few different outdoor patio areas that offer a quiet and peaceful place to relax or to work outdoors. So grateful I moved here!

My family and I absolutely love living at the Post Legacy apartments in Plano. We have lived in this complex for a total of about 2.5 years in different units and the entire experience has been very enjoyable. Eva is primarily who we’ve worked with in the leasing office these past few years and she is AMAZING. She is always willing to help with whatever she can and always has a smile on her face while doing it. We’ve recently downsized to a smaller unit in this complex and she helped so much with the transfer process, paperwork, and making sure the switch went smoothly. Post Legacy is a wonderful complex! I lived at Legacy Village years ago and when I was looking for a place this time, Post Legacy came through with an incredible unit! The maintenance crew here is ON. TOP. OF. IT. 🙌🏻👌🏻 Typically they are there within 24hrs and will fix whatever is the matter. No 1 week waiting period here!The front office crew, especially Eva, is incredible as well. She made the experience of touring and moving in a cinch with great recommendations for renters insurance and electric company.I would highly recommend this complex to anyone that is looking for a great place to live, work, and play!

Nice leasing staff, good apartment layouts, nice location but not as busy as Legacy West area. Maitenance requests were always taken care of quickly.Cons: if you didn’t pay for a reserved spot, finding a covered parking spot in the garage at certain hours were tough and would end up on roof.

I have been living here for 6 months as my first apartment and have had a good experience. Some problems have come up but contacting or going into the front office they were resolved quickly and easily. The area is pretty quiet and nearby some restaurants and the freeway which I like.Once I was overcharged when my lease was extended and I was given credit for the next month with no hassle. Ive contacted maintenance three times now and each time was quick and to the point and solved my problem the first time. I have seen some ants around my room from time to time so you might want to get some bait and keep the place clean.Id recommend living in the buildings connected to the parking garage unless youre willing to pay $50 a month for a reserved space as the resident parking garage can fill up to the top level at night.

Ive been at Post Legacy for 4 years and two other apartments at Post Addison in the 4 before that, and Ive always liked all the wildly different floor plans and styles each apartment has. Even in the same building it feels like no two units as the same, and they dont seem priced any higher than the cookie-cutter units you see everywhere else. Maintenance at both places are absolute legends. I once had my AC go out at 11pm the Sunday before Memorial Day so I called just to get the work order in, but I actually got a call back at midnight that someone was on the way, and by 1:30am they had a portable unit installed as a backup while the main one was being repaired. Definitely wasnt expecting all that in the middle of the night on a holiday.

I just moved in a few days ago, but I actually signed my lease a couple months ago, and the front office staff has been wonderful throughout this whole process. I told them I was on a bit of a time crunch, and they worked with me to make sure I only needed to hand them a check and grab my key on day 1. The maintenance staff is the fastest at any apartment Ive ever lived regarding responding to work orders, and thus far theyve been great. I kinda feel bad, because Ive called 3 days in a row as new minor issues arose, but a member of the maintenance team has consistently been here the same day, and once within a few minutes. David, the maintenance supervisor, says he makes sure they get all their work orders closed by end of day. The complex is beautiful, and theyve done a great job keeping it updated for its age. Lots of interesting technology I havent seen before to make things more convenient. Parking is an issue if you get back late, only in the sense that youll have to park on the roof of the garage, which is uncovered. There is plenty of parking, though, and it seems that if I get back at a normal hour, I wont have issues finding parking in the covered portion of the garage. You also cant beat the location, as its literally within the shops at legacy, and the police department is right across the street on one side, and a duck pond is across the street on the other side.

I have lived here for almost three years, and I have to post that this is the best management and maintenance crew ever! With all of the continuous challenges around 2020, Covid, and now the brutal winter storms of 2021, this group does the best at communicating, being proactive and staying ahead of the issues, thinking outside the box, going above and beyond, have a sense of urgency, are very kind with a positive attitude.Mary, the manager, is so good at property management and customer service. I truly appreciate her and her fantastic team. I could go on and on about each one of the people that MAA hired for this property. I hope they never leave. : )Look no further and come enjoy this fabulous location, beautiful property, the best team, and great neighbors but remember to help do your part to give back goodness since they are pouring their hearts and souls out for us.Thank you Post Legacy Team!

Ive lived here for about six months and have loved it so far. There were a few things we needed to get fixed and the beginning (blinds, light fixtures and a faucet), but maintenance got it all done right away. Service requests are usually completed same day or next day, depending on what it is and when its requested. The staff has always been so helpful and friendly. They keep both the inside and outside of the complex clean and well maintained. Its also in a great location.

I moved here a month ago from New York. So naturally I had to get everything over the phone and online the consultant Eva she has been wonderfully helpful throughout my whole transition. She made sure the apartment was all cleaned as per instructions. The work order is pretty fast, they address to it as soon as possible if not right away. Im loving it here. Its a safe and secure neighborhood.

The neighborhood is great it is a short walk to my favorite bar and the fountain out front. Of course there are issues now and again but it is the staff that earns this place a 5 star rating! This was the most friendly complex in North Plano that works with newly hired employees just starting their lives! This is the complex that accepts job offer letters in lieu of paystub submittals. Ive lived here for a year now and I have no major complaints. The locality is very convenient and the prices cant be beat. I enjoy the little lake that is in the North/ North-West side of the buildings.The only complaint I have is this guy that randomly likes to protest something and blares his voice out loud and it echoes into all the apartments facing Libby Road. I think the environment is nice and friendly!

I lived in these apartments from 2015 to 2017. The location was wonderful, management was very pleasant, and the maintenance was the best I’ve ever had. Never had any issues with any of the neighbors either and overall it is a very friendly community.The only negative feedback is that the hallways aren’t always kept clean and some pet owners were awful (i.e. letting their dog into the pool and not picking up after their dog).Overall I would definitely live here again and would recommend it to a friend.

These apartments are fantastic they are so privates and secure within the Legacy shopping area. The price of the apartments is not unreasonable. Its right next to a man-made lake which gives an added cool moisture to the area right around your Apartments. Angelas every fancy restaurants just next door. Not to mention the great shops! I will be honest with you this place is just too amazing to let go. When Covid really started making its presence felt early last year, I made a decision to spend time with my wife, who was still living in Africa. Little did I know what I thought would be a few months, would turn out to be nearly a year before I could return. The team at Post Legacy went out of their way to make sure everything in my apartment kept working, especially during the big freeze. Coming back was as simple as turning on the lights, cleaning everything and life resumed. Special reach out to Mary who was always available to go check on things, making sure everything was as it should be.

Just arrived. Leasing team was very nice, efficient, helpful and friendly. Overall the room and facilities are quite good. The courtyards and pool are quite pretty, and the first floor gym either lets you show off your bod to pedestrians, or gives you motivation from being judged by strangers. The only cons are relatively minor. If you dont have a washer/dryer in the unit, many units require you to go outside (cross the covered parking lot) to get to the laundry room. Also, the quality of the fit-out (sinks, carpets) are not the greatest quality, but good enough considering that youre mostly choosing this rental community for its location.

Definitely loved living here. The apartments are well kept and very clean, which is surprising for a 10-15 year old apartment complex. Maintenance staff is friendly and very quick to respond to your needs. Fitness center has most of the equipments needed for people who enjoy endurance/running training. However, not many weights available :-(. Leasing staff, especially Travis and Megan, were very helpful and approachable. Also, Ive never had pest issues (no roaches) in my 3rd floor apartment, just baby spiders from time to time.Cons:-Lots of dog poop on the pond trail. There is a pond in front of Post Legacy, and during the summer, it gets stinky because dogs literally crap everywhere and owners dont clean after their pets.-Parking: street parking becomes very limited after hours, so if you dont have a reserved parking in the garage, youll be forced to park on the roof. Its inconvenient if you have to carry groceries or live across the street from the parking garage. Also, I would avoid parking on the streets because my car suffered a few scratches on the bumper due to incompetent parallel parkers-Pool during the summer: it can become loud as residents BBQ/drink at the pool. Also, the sound echoes and becomes amplified because the pool is right in the middle of the apartment complex-Elevators: very slow, and they were out of order 7 out of 10 times. I didnt mind because I usually enjoy taking the stairs, but a lot of residents complained about it.-Brick pavement/sidewalks around shops of legacy: Post Legacy is located at shops of legacy, and their sidewalks are laid with bricks. Some of these bricks are uneven so dont bother with going for runs outside. Ive tripped about 5 times during my time here-Lost packages: the office doesnt monitor packages once received from the delivery man. They dont keep a log. They place the packages in a closet where the residents can come pick it up during business hours. Ive lived at this apartment for a year, and lost 3 packages (someone probably walked away with them). I would recommend sending your packages to your work or your parents house, etc. instead-Crazy, sensitive neighbor: the lady who lived on the 2nd floor (right below me) came up to my apartment a handful of times because my footsteps were too loud. I guess some people dont understand the inconveniences of living in an apartment. It CAN get loud and youll hear footsteps. Thats just part of living in an apartment. Sometimes, she would come up past 10pm (very late) or super early (4am) to address the issue. She told me that she usually sleeps at 7pm and wakes up early for her 5am job. Uhm, not my problem lady. I was literally walking on eggshells in my apartment because she was scary and annoying. Luckily, my lease ended and I moved out.Overall, Post Legacy is a great place to live. If youre thinking about moving to west plano/Frisco, Id highly recommend you checking it out!

The location is very convenient with everything within 10-15 mins drive that includes 3 shopping malls, various game sites, tonnes of restaurants, parks, numerous grocery stores, movie theaters, etc. Love strolling around the Shops at Legacy which is not even a minute walk from apartment building. Also Legacy West on the other side of DNT is a next level attraction with very nice shopping brands and decent food offerings. The apartments are neat and clean. Leasing staff, specially Julie is very friendly. Ive been living here for more than 6 months now and feel happy to have made the decision to move here.

Thank you to David who is the Maintenance Supervsior at Post Legacy! He saved the lives of lil family with a two-month old baby! During the 2021 ongoing power outage, lil family had been without power for over 21 hrs. David quickly researched hotels near hopsitals (they had electricity) and asked if they had room available., but they were all full. He spoke with Jackie about lil familys situation. She took them in during this blackout with temperatures in the single digits and wind storms. David and Jackie are angels from heaven! We love their beautiful souls!
