    My parents moved in five years ago, and have really enjoyed living at community. My father passed in March of this year, but mom continues to reside in her apartment. The staff is always courteous, and maintenance requests are always handled quickly and professionally. Moms washing machine was acting up, and it was replaced with a really nice unit.

    Not a resident, just visited while Apt hunting.Place seemed nice enough. Clean and quiet.David in the office was pleasant and helpful. Location is convenient.Not a fan of the “MAA Connection” internet package that you get no choice on, though. Bad enough when places abuse fees and force “valet trash” on residents. Will update if needed depending on further info.

    Moving to Plano (for work) after 5 years in Downtown Dallas - and the experience Ive had with Joyce (Property Manager) and David have been beyond exceptional. It was extremely hard to find an apartment in the area whose review section isnt infested with reviews about poor management and bugs (pun intended), so to see consistently good reviews matched with such great service: I am very excited to move in.Documentation and fee explanation/overview prior to move in was incredibly thorough, clear and easy to understand. David made additional follow up calls to ensure I didnt have any questions or concerns with no incentive other than to insure the stress of move-in week was minimal.Originally had issues with submitting my request for a guided tour, but called and Joyce quickly and easily set a time and date for my preferred tour, moved along quickly with providing an application link, and promptly communicated all documentation necessary to complete and approve my application the next day.Time will tell if the experience as a resident is as good as an applicant, however all lights are green as of now! Will follow up with Resident experience!

    MAA Highwood is by far the best apartment complex I have ever lived in. Im 47 years old so that says a lot. Not only are the leasing office staff amazing, even after one of the managers left, you would have never known because they kept the ball rolling exceeding any expectations I had. Now lets get to the maintenance team. I cant say anything negative about them. I had an experience where my AC went out, I dont believe they live on site so regardless of what time it was because I dont remember, one of them was out in an hour and my AC was fixed. Any maintenance request that I put in is done typically in the same day, and is fixed properly. I was thinking about transferring to Las colinas MAA because I could throw a rock at that building from my office. After thinking about it, it didnt take long to realize why go somewhere closer to my work which would save me money on gas and tolls, when I am 100% extremely happy with MAA Highwood. Highly recommended to live here, because of the leasing staff and maintenance. Five stars all the way!

    Wanted to share my great experience with Highwood so far. Despite being old, the property is well maintained. A special shout out to Joyce who has been trying to make my parents experience beyond exceptional. Thank you for being an awesome manager, Joyce!

    Searching for a new apartment can be a daunting and drawn out process, but the agents at MAA Highwood are a breath of fresh air! I had the pleasure of touring with Joyce and it was my favorite tour in a while. She was prepared with answers to any and all questions - even how high the ceilings are! She also helped with learning as much as possible about the community and all it can offer. This was one of a few MAA communities in our search and was a favorite due to its location (residential area) which is a relaxing break from the stress with living near busier city areas. The community is a bit smaller than other MAA communities which makes it feel even more cozy and less like a little town with so many buildings you get lost or worry about proximity to the nearest exit.Although we were unable to call MAA Highwood home this time around (for other reasons - none of which are because of MAA Highwood), but should anything happen we will be back AND asking for Joyce!!Truly a great experience! Schedule a tour today!

    MAA Highwood is an excellent place to live, their office staff is amazing. Misty always has a smile on her face and makes me feel welcomed. The Manager, William well he is a delight to talk with. He always makes time for his residents. That maintenance staff here are amaazing! the work order are done within 24 hours when they are turned in. I am so glad I chose to live here. I would defiantly recommend MAA Highwood to anyone!!

    I did not rent here due to the sq feet in the bedrooms but the staff was very knowledgeable and helped direct me. Joyce was kind and willing to help. She even looked on the website with me for their other properties. The price is what brought me here just wish they were a little bigger.

    I have no issue staying here after over a year and generally pretty quick response from the office when I needed something fixed or updated. Ive been with MAA for roughly 3 years from Grapevine and now here. So far, theyve been good to me. The only reason 4 star was the building a bit old and you see crack here and there due to the seasons. Other than that, they pretty good maintaining other stuff.

    I went on a tour and I absolutely love all the detail information they gave me. was fully aware of the qualifications and amenities. The pool is sparkly clear, and the staff is friendly. The location is close to schools which is a big plus to me. I will definitely recommend this location to my friends and family. They also called me back on the next day and made sure I was completely satisfied with my. tour. I am submitting an application today.

    I cant speak for the other tenants but my time here has been great and peaceful! Coming from another community that was old and had bad management, this place is top notch. Misty helped me out and she was so patient! If youre looking for a quiet community, consider this place

    This is a wonderful place to live. I stayed here for about 4 years and the management staff was amazing. During the winter storm in 2021, my heater failed and maintenance was out within an hour to get it fixed, despite the roads being icy and terrible. Rent went up year over year, but it wasnt unreasonable. The move out process was easy and management was fair and I got back part of my deposit. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and nice place to live. As a plus the location is awesome, with close proximity to many good restaurants, shops, and all the nice city amenities.

    After 3 years here, I must say I will miss my treehouse. A huge oak tree shades my patio. The mature landscape is one of the things that attracted me to Highwood.This has been such a pleasant experience. Yes, the apartments are older but well maintained. The staff is friendly and quick to respond to even the smallest requests.While life is taking me on a different path, I intentionally chose to remain in the MAA family for my next home; that alone should speak volumes to the level of service and care I have received at Highwood. Thanks for 3 wonderful, peaceful years.

    This property is quaint and cozy, the office has been remodeled and is very appealing and relaxing.The floor plans are spacious and huge patios. This zip code-75093 is one of the most prominent in North Texas.Im very thankful I found this property (MAA), and Im thankful for William the property manager who is very hospitable. 😊All you need is right here and anything you could want is within walking distance! 😍

    Lived there for 10 years and loved it. Its cozy with beautiful trees and walkways throughout the apartments.Great team running the place too. William is extremely reasonable in very nice to work with.

    Have been with this community for about an year now and never had ever a issue - staff is very friendly, especially William and Aaron, service is awesome and everything we need is close by - school, park, gas station, theater, mall. I’d call this place “My Happy Comfort zone!”

    Excellent attention from Ruby I have lived here for almost two years and until now she is the first employee of the apartments that makes you feel at home. She is very attentive, helpful and with professional ethics. I hope to continue seeing her in these apartments. Whenever we have questions, she is very kind, she takes care of me with great kindness and I loved an event that my daughters organized, they decorated cookies and enjoyed that day. I look forward to more events. The best thing is bilingual, very convenient for my family.UpdateWhen we left the apartment, we left it better than when we entered, we fixed imperfections that occurred with these 3 years of living, we hired carpet and window cleaning. We painted the cabinets, there were no scratches left and it actually looked very good in the pre-inspection before leaving it and then when we returned and checked the return of the deposit they did not return anything to us. They looked for excuses and my family decided that it wasnt worth the effort and we didnt even go to complain.
