Beautiful and affordable units right in the heart of state Thomas, one of Dallas’ most walkable and picturesque neighborhoods! The office staff is what sets this community a part, they are so sincere, attentive and willing to help in any way they can. Maintenance is lightning quick and if any fixes are needed in your unit , you should expect same day turn around when submitting a work order. I could not recommend this community enough!

MAA runs State Thomas and the uptown area — and there’s a reason for that. I’ve been living here for a year and truly, it’s unbeatable. All the things a person could be looking for in a complex are top-tier here. Safety, cleanliness, packages, LOCATION, good neighbors, it’s all here. The management team has been a delight working with. Responsive, polite, and timely. No, they didn’t give a free donut or something corny to write this. They’re just the real deal!

Overall pleasant experience during my year at MAA Heights. The property is a bit dated, but the location is phenomenal. You can’t find a better place nestled in State Thomas for the price. You may run into a few hiccups while here, but the staff at MAA Heights make things easy.Randy and Kyera are excellent to work with and incredibly understanding. Maintenances is top notch as well. If you’re moving to Uptown, keep this complex at the top of your list!

I recently came for a tour and the staff was lovely. They answered all of my questions and even provided great information regarding things I had no idea about. Kyera was particularly helpful and extremely welcoming. Nice building with nicer rates!

- Antiquated Resident Portal Site Using an Old Payment System, can get a little frustrating with the delays, not very mobile friendly.- Excellent Maintenance Staff- Good Amenities with rooftop deck and gated parking/ entrance access- Communication and follow through with management is good.- Courtyard areas could use more attention to detail to create better usage and accommodations. Outdoor furniture requires upkeep to keep nature from settling.Update 11/21/2023New courtyard furniture-Management pays attention to requests- raised ⭐️

I lived here for a year and I honestly loved it. The only reason I would give 4 stars instead of 5 is because of MAA management. I moved to a sister property and they did not make this process easy. Regardless I loved my apartment so much, the pool was splendid especially with the grill, and having 2 gyms was a huge pro. Honestly I would move back if they didn’t have me at a higher rate than the same style apartments next to me. Again, that’s a con due to MAA management.

I’m not sure why there are so many negative reviews- I’ve lived at Post Heights in two separate units over three years and I have no intention of leaving anytime soon.The apartment grounds are well maintained. The pool can get busy on the weekends, but has sunlight from 8-4, and plenty of new lounge chairs (they were all replaced last summer). The apartments themselves are nice and comparable for the area. They offer amenities like granite countertops, garden tubs, and wooden blinds, which is upper to mid-range for Uptown. Every issue that I have had has been dealt with promptly by the leasing office (even a problem with pipes that required that my apartment walls be taken down) with one exception, which was a communication issue between myself and the leasing office that left a maintenance request unfilled for a week.There are negatives to everything though: the Post Heights garage on Clark has limited parking and if you come home after 11 pm on a weekend, you will have to go back out and find street parking. Neighbors do occasionally make noise, but I’ve had almost zero complaints about parties and more about my upstairs neighbor stomping. There are occasional break-ins in the parking garage, but I haven’t heard or seen one in the last six-ish months. Overall, I love my apartment and I love the neighborhood, and I would recommend Post Heights to anyone who is looking to live in the area.

I’ve been here for a couple months now, I really enjoy it and the staff is super helpful especially Kyera. The neighborhood is perfect and walkable, there’s always the regular concerns that come with inner city life, but overall I have enjoyed my time at this complex.

Ive been here almost a year and havent had any issues. I love the neighborhood and my balcony overlooking the courtyard. Both the office and maintenance staff have always been on top of any requests Ive had. The happy hour events they host for their residents are also a plus!

I am writing to sincerely thank MAA Heights for moving so quickly and placing all work orders immediately. Aldo from maintenance was literally at my door the next day, on Sunday, at 11am. The maintenance team is super courteous.On that note, thank you MAA Heights Management team for being solution oriented and caring about us residents. Your job isnt easy with so many residents and I just want to let you know I appreciate your work.

I came to the leasing office with the hopes that I would find something. Fortunately, Christine was there to help, as she went above and beyond to find what my needs for a apartment were. Conduct was extremely professional and courteous, asked all the right questions. To any future renters, you are in good hands.

Edit: I lived there a year. Anytime I had an issue it was resolved pretty quickly. The rent was reasonable at the time, but I couldnt afford the rent hike on the second year. That being said, I didnt ever have a deposit down and I only had to pay $40 for cleaning after I left (which I think is reasonable, I didnt bother to fill any nail holes in the wall).Noise could be an issue sometimes, structurally. Both the elevator and noise traveling through the chimney from the apartment below us were annoying.I never had an issue with mechanical things, or bugs....[Original]I have yet to move in, but I wanted to say our leasing agent was really on top of the whole process and were very excited to join the community. John Michael was very candid about how he felt living in the area, and stayed in communication with us about leasing info & specific apartments we were interested in. And I asked a LOT of questions.As soon as we were approved, we are on the community mailing list, and cant wait to connect with others in the area. Thanks John Michael!Update: we moved in, wasnt a tough process, all the appliances are nice. Theres a little bit of ambient utility noise, but nothing from neighbors so far. Maintenance and the leasing office always get back to me really quickly. Plus, the state st cafe has some of the best coffee, which we are nerds for.

I would highly recommended working with Sierra in the MAA Heights leasing office if you are interested in living here. She was really helpful, professional and responded to all of our questions very quickly. She continues to help throughout the lease term. This is a great place to live - close to many amenities, quiet and feels secure. The washer/dryer that everyone has access to were often not working which can be a huge hassle, but everything else was great and building maintenance responds to issues in the units very quickly.

Very smooth process and move-in. Great apartment complex all around, new carpeting was even put in prior to my move in. Love the place and location so far, the neighborhood is awesome. Sierra, the leasing consultant, was super communicative and nice to work with - very helpful all around, would highly recommend MAA heights to anyone looking to move to downtown Dallas! This place was an easy decision after touring about 7 other apartment complexes in Uptown. Excited to explore the area and Dallas in general in the coming weeks!

I lived here for a year and had a great experience overall! The apartment complex is located in a beautiful location in Uptown, walkable to numerous restaurants and bars, and has amazing pricing considering the location. It’s right off of multiple highways, with an easy commute to almost any DFW location. The previous resident left water damage that needed extensive repairs, so the leasing office staff and manager worked with me to make sure everything got fixed the correct way and even reduced our rent for the first month. Anytime something needed to be fixed in the apartment, the maintenance staff came within a day and emails to the leasing office were answered with the same general speed. The only issue we had was with noise; there were often people at all hours in the courtyard or being excessively loud in their apartments. This is somewhat expected, due to the location and the college students living in the building.

Very friendly staff and quick and courteous maintenance crew. Apartment and amenities are a good value for the area. Only concern is the crime on the premises. My girlfriends car was broken into inside of the gated garage. Though if you take everything out of your vehicle before locking it youre unlikely to have an issue.

Love the leasing office staff. All my requests were fulfilled promptly and I had a pleasant move in experience. Molly and Becky were super nice and helpful.They have extra security in Garage entrances, tailgating is impossible. Location is a plus!

Our A/C broke last year during the hottest part of he year and the staff had a window mount A/C placed that day. The A/C on the roof had failed and they replaced it ASAP. Any maint request that I sent has been responded to in less than 48 hours. The staff has been courteous and professional every time that I have dealt with them.Sure there is spill over traffic from the bars. Yes, sometimes people are loud at night. I assumed that would be the case when I moved into an area with a nightlife just walking distance away. You get what you pay for. If you do not want to be in the middle of an active nightlife...dont move here.Area for improvement. The driers need some TLC. My wife is spending too much money on clothes driers that are not drying our clothes as they should. Please have the vendor come in and fix the dryers. My wife has had to take our clothes to a laundromat.

I loved living at Post Heights! It is very reasonably priced for the area and such a great location. My apartment was updated and even had a balcony- such a plus for a studio apartment. The managers were always super friendly and helpful anytime I reached out for anything. Last summer my AC broke on a Friday night and a maintenance worker came out first thing the next morning to fix the issue and gave me a portable unit until the problem was fixed.I would absolutely live at Post Heights again. Only moved out bc I moved out of state for work!

These reviews do not give them any justice! I love living at Post Heights! Will, Jeremy and Zach are all amazing! Maintenance is fast! And there are great views anywhere you go! If anything people just have to clean after their dogs!! But community is clean overall and location is perfect!!!

Location is great, walkable to many restaurants and bars in uptown. Units are nice inside, and I really enjoy the dual level floor plan. Maintenance is also very quick to respond, usually within a day or two.
