Beautiful complex, dedicated to renovations around the property, & fast and easy communication. Was able to contact them and move into an apartment in the same week. The people in the leasing office were nothing but friendly and accommodating, allowing us to go on a self-guided tour of the property with detailed instructions and a breakdown of the complex’s prices. The apartment itself is comfortable to live in by yourself and provides more of an at-home feel. Apartments are in a gated community & in an area where there are unlimited food, shopping, and grocery options in the area. Toured several complexes, but MAA Fairview was by far the best complex in the Allen area.

January 2025 - Just wanted to update my review. My husband & I no longer live here as of May 2024, but there isnt a day that goes by that we dont wish to come back! Honestly, it has been the best complex we have lived at (and we move around quite a bit) Most important things for a complex is 1. Staff - their attitudes, attention to tenants and just genuinely caring. I will shout out Hope forever. She really took care of us while we were there.2. Maintenance - The maintenance was great here. The request were taken care of in a timely manner and to be honest everything was maintained/well kept. 3. Comfort and Location - Literally the best area. Super safe, nice park and neighborhood for walks and jogs and all the shopping and restaurants are near by. The only reason we decided to move was because my Husband had a gass guzzling truck and he works down in Dallas, which with traffic hed be lucky to make it home in an hour, most of the time an hour and a half. If we could, wed be back in a heartbeat. Recently, I had a package issue that was going to get delivered to my old address here. Thankfully the Leasing agent ( Im so sorry I didnt remember her name) rest assured she could help me. Its the customer service and the quality of care that I mentioned earlier. I dont even live here anymore, yet theyre willing to help. I would rate this place 10 stars if I could.This complex is just wonderful. We just moved in a week ago and the process was spectacular. We had to move from our old apartment unexpectedly and we stumbled across MAA Fairview. Hope the leasing agent let us do a self guided tour, gave us every detail of information for what was available for our time frame and went over the amenities. Upon move in everything went smoothly and all was working and seemed brand new in our new apartment! :) highly recommend, spacious floor plans, awesome staff and great area!

I have absolutely loved every second of living at MAA Fairview. From the friendly office staff, to the constant upgrades of the property, and the attention to detail within the apartments, MAA really knows how to take care of their residents! The location is perfect, tucked away right behind the Fairview Town Center and a short drive from the Allen Premium Outlets. MAA Fairview has been the best place to call home!

MAA Fairview is a great community to live in. They have amazing accommodations and is a short drive from the Allen Premium Outlet Mall. The office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and make living here a breeze. The maintenance staff are very knowledgeable in what they do as well and go out of their way to insure that resident needs and requests are taken at a timely matter. I would recommend MAA Fairview to anyone looking for a great place to rent!

I love the layout of the apartments. The hallways are wide and always light up. I always feel safe any time if the day. It is a quiet family oriented apartment that allows pets. My 2 dogs and I have been very happy here and hope to stay a long time.

I moved here in june wanted to share my positive experience at the complex. The maintenance team is exceptional, always prompt and efficient. The office staff is incredibly helpful and accommodating. The overall cleanliness of the community is impressive, creating a pleasant living environment.

This community is the best around. No idea why theres a 3.4 star rating. The move in was very smooth, the team worked with me to get what I wanted exactly in my price range. The amenities are great and its all around a very safe and quiet area. I hate that I have to move because this place feels like home. Also the maintenance man is THE best, comes in the day of request and will fix all issues in a timely manner. Thank you MAA for being a great community

This place is of the utmost beauty. I’m taken back by the serenity I feel by the surroundings this complex gives. I also feel really safe, like a cub being protected by her lioness mother. I would give this place 6 stars if it’d let me. Go with happiness!

I’m a longtime resident and have found the staff in the office and maintenance to be very cooperative and helpful. The landscaping has been well maintained. I have not needed much repair work, but when I have it has been taken care of very efficiently.I like the addition of the Smart Rent control system. Particularly in regards to thermostat control and the locks on the doors.

I have had the please of living in 3 different MAA managed properties and the consistency in the quality of the complex and the customer service is top notch.Unfortunately, my time with MAA has expired but their Fairview location has been a pleasure to live in. No bugs, quiet respectful neighbors and friendly staff.As with all apartments, I have had a few issues, all of which were resolved by the maintenance team in seriously a business day.Special thank you to Nora who I have never met but has always treated me with the up most respect. MAA- Nora is a keeper, I look forward to her climbing the corporate latter.

Gavin Bowden made the whole experience! Me and my girlfriend might be moving Dallas for our jobs and started to look around and MAA Fairview came up! Super informative and very kind. The property was beautiful as well! 11/10 experience!

I’ve lived here six months or more and I have loved it!!!! The office staff is friendly and kind the maintenance guys are out of this world. The neighbors are amazing, you really can’t go wrong here. The gates always work, the trash is easy to get to, and they have a place where you can vacuum and clean your car!!! Wow! Everyone says hi to one another it’s just a great community. My work keeps me crazy busy, it’s so nice to come here. Grateful and happy here.

I stayed here for around 6 months. I see everyone at the office to be very friendly and kind. Especially the lady at front office Hope is very friendly and approachable. She helped with many maintenance requests. I wish I could stay here longer.

Ive visited numerous communities during my apartment search and no one came close to the professionalism, warmth, and compassion to my personal situation and presented me with the new home that met my requirements exactly, to the last detail. I am very excited about becoming a part of the MAA Fairview family!

One of the best things about this complex is the maintenance - Quick turnaround when you submit a request. Angel on their maintenance team always comes out promptly. He resolves the issue effectively and efficiently! Great customer service.

I do think of Apartments Properties the way I think of someone in search for a perfect partner. Theres no perfect human, but theres always a person that works for you, with the understanding of their flaws and strength, it will be great relationship. Colonial Grand at Fairview works for us, the application process was easy and communication was and still is great. It feels like home, the area is pretty decent with a family feel to it. As for the rent, again it comes down to what works for you, its good in my opinion. In contrast to how some properties and their management have treated me in the past, Ill say Colonial Grand is doing good so far. This is our third month, Ill be updating my review as time goes on.

We have been living here for 3 years and have not had any issues. We recently had a situation come up where we had to move apartments within the complex at the last minute. While we were scrambling trying to figure out where we were going to move to, Ashton stepped in and found us an apartment we could move into for a shorter lease term until our home was going to be ready to move into. Ashton and the staff have been incredible and I cant thank them enough for helping us out!!! Thank You So Much for being Awesome.

When I first came to Colonial Grand at Fairview, in 2014, I had already visited numerous other apartments in the MISD. I was looking to keep my daughter in her school with her friends, after a separation. From the moment I walked into the office, they made me feel at home! As we toured the beautiful grounds and looked at the different apartment homes they had to offer, I felt more and more at home and at ease with my decision. Its quiet, landscaping is beautifully maintained and neighbors have been so pleasant. I actually miss some that have moved out because they were very friendly. On the rare occasions I had to call for maintenance, they responded quickly and fixed the issue the first time! Its a beautiful area with shopping, restaurants and entertainment galore! I especially love having a garage and ability to store my things onsite. Oh, did I mention the holidays??? Its so festival and all within walking distance. But all these wonderful amenities and extras, would be nothing without the staff. Cant say enough of how much they care. If youre looking for a new home, temporary home, or location, you just need to start here and not waste time anywhere else!

I have been living here for a little over 9 months now, when I tell you this complex and management is great…I mean it. Maintenance comes within 1-2 days after the request is put in. They take care of the cleanliness of the complex, and management is amazing at communication. Jessica was so willing to accommodate to my needs when needed.

I thought Id give a positive review to mix things up. Ive only had to do one maintenance request, and it was taken care of quickly. Ive had everything work great in the apartment so far. Its quiet, the ladies at the office are really nice and helpful. Trash so far has only piled up during 4th of July weekend, which is understandable. Theres plenty of parking, and its convenient being right next to the Villages at Allen and Fairview where so anything we need isnt more than 5 minutes away.

From the time we viewed the complex until move in, everything went smoothly without a hitch. after move-in, We were so impressed by how well we were taken care of. We were treated with respect and care unlike previous places we visited. I would highly recommend these apartment homes to anyone on a quest for a nice place to live.

Selecting an apartment, and what you would like to have is very subjective. The price of apartments are generally rising in the DFW area. It is truly all about what you are seeking. Overall, communication is very key for me. For example if I have an issue or versus, please communicate. In reference to the dogs/dog owners, and kids breaking the gate, as adults and parents, be accountable for your dogs and your children. Clean up after your dog. This goes for any apartment complex you may live in or whatever neighborhood you live in as well.

We’ve lived here for about a year, everything was great from the spacious and beautiful designs these apartments have to lots of parking (at my building at least) and the surrounding neighborhood. 2 cons - 1. there are no covered parking so almost everyone’s cars were damaged this past hail storm. So my suggestion to the office is to invest in some covered parking for those interested. And 2. Our alarm system went off a few months back and the sirens were on for at least 15 mins before my husband finally unplugged the wires inside to turn it off! emergency maintenance came after 2 hours I had forgot I even called them.. and he didn’t even bother looking or fixing and just left, but that’s all good because we don’t have the alarm set up.Overall, I would still recommend this place but be sure to have full coverage on your vehicles and enjoy the dinning & shopping centers around!

Pleasant leasing agent and returned a VM in less than 24 hours. Attentive and tried as best as she could to accommodate a certain floorplan/unit layout but will have to revisit closer to move-in date as current lease ends in September and no current units available as requested. Hope to call this community home next month!

Gayle has been very helpful, make sure you ask for her she knows how to give a good customer service.I also want to express my gratitude to Mark Madona whos been very gentle everytime I call to request something. Colonial Grands Team is amazing thank you for providing a great customer service you make us feel important.

I have lived at Colonial Grand since September of 2012, and I highly recommend this place to my friends. I enjoy the beautifully maintained grounds and the friendly atmosphere. Location is great and the walkability factor is priceless. I feel safe, comfortable, and at home here. If you are looking for a nice place to live, tour Colonial Grand in Fairview!

Had an issue with the Ac, came home and it was 83 degrees. I called the emergency line and a gentleman named Abel called back within 5 minutes. He showed up 25 minutes later (8pm) and fixed the issue. He was very kind and professional. Very pleased with the response time and service! Thank you Abel!
