    My experience here at MAA Bulverde has been great! I love the smart home features with the App for controlling the locks and the thermostat. The community looks nice. The leasing office crew is also very friendly and informative. More importantly, the maintenance crew has been more than helpful with everything that needed to be fixed with the place. They address everything as soon as they can and are very friendly. Kirk, in particular was great! His manager, whose name I forgot, was also very professional and would even educate me on some things in the apartment. Great experience so far with these apartments. Highly recommend.

    My daughter lived here since they opened up in 2013, we gave lawn care maintenance for 3 years and met many valuable people that work and tenants in there as well, I remember the staff, Caroline, Maria and Brian maintenance chief, I have seen him lately, because I live closer, but all the team work, always greeted at me, kind with a big smile, love these apartment complex!I attached 3 pics, 2 from where we built the dog shower bench and the other before the demolition of the water falls at the pool.

    Eddie and the maintenance team are incredibly helpful and professional. He quickly got our A/C issue diagnosed, replaced our air and water filter, and even brought us a temp unit to use while the parts come in. 11/10! Last apartment complex took days to respond to work orders- not here, they actually maintain the property.

    Eddie was great! Came in to fix my kitchen faucet and ice maker. As we were talking he looked into 2 other things we had issues with but had been working around. He was able to fix one right away and will be back to fix the second one as he needed to order a part.

    My family and I moved here earlier this year and we ALWAYS say how much we truly love this complex. The office staff has always been available to help in anyway with a smile on their faces each time as well. The maintenance staff is absolutely incredible!! No matter how big or little they are always quick to respond to maintenance request. They truly are so kind, even our shy dog loves them. This community has felt like home since day one, and I will always be thankful to everyone working here, especially Kirk and Eddie, who I see and talk to most often.

    MAA Bulverde has the best maintenance team! Shout out to Eddie & Kirk. Just know if you place a maintenance order, within less than 24 hours someone will come out to look at it, and most of the time they can resolve the issue in that same visit. I appreciate our maintenance team so much!

    My son and I have lived at MAA Bulverde for going on 3 years now and Im honestly happy to call this place home. The apartments and the grounds are kept up by an outstanding maintenance team, especially Kirk, who we have worked with the most often. They are quick and efficient when it comes to any request weve had to submit. The ladies in the leasing office are fantastic as well, always very friendly and knowledgeable. Keep in mind, these ARE apartments, so they come with some of the drawbacks of apartment living (limited parking and REALLY could use another trash compactor), however, the MAA staff do everything they can to mitigate that and have truly made MAA Bulverde a great place to live.

    It has been 3 years here at MAA Bulverde and it has been a very pleasant experience on all accounts. Maintenance team is very responsive, usually the work order is completed the same day or the next day. Eddie is great along with the rest of the management team. The neighborhood is peaceful and friendly.

    I had the pleasure of having Eddie from the maintenance team work on a few issues that arose from my apt and I couldn’t be more impressed! He was professional, friendly, and quick to resolve the issues. Eddie went above and beyond to ensure everything was working perfectly and even took the time to explain what had been fixed. His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out. Thank you, Eddie, for your outstanding service! You’re a real asset to your team.Edit: Eddie continues to give 5 stars work ethic. After they had to replace my AC unit, Eddie made sure to follow up and make sure everything was running smoothly.Reading other reviews, only issues I’ve encountered are people parking outside my garage and the towing company here being ALWAYS unavailable.

    I’ve had a great experience since moving in. The apartments and facilities are nice and well maintained and the front desk staff and maintenance workers that I have spoken to are all very friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Kirk in maintenance for fixing my refrigerator super quick!

    Had an issue with water leaking into neighbors apartment. Eddie and his team were notified and addressed the problem quickly and efficiently, while also knocking a prior service request to fix a broken oven!     Thank you so much to Dave and Eddie for being on top of the work orders. Had a clogged shower drain they took care of within 15 minutes of placing the work order, they also addressed other items on the spot while clearing the drain. Great customer service experience all around

    We’ve been here about 2 months. It’s been great! Brittany and Kierra both helped me with my application and leasing process. Amy was who brought me on the tour of the apartment and property. They were all really patient in helping me understand each fee and how the move-in special of $1500 would be broken up among our first month and a half. They require renter’s insurance from A rated companies. The one we had wasn’t accepted. It was frustrating to switch, but overall we are now paying less per month for more coverage through MAA’s suggested insurance.The property is peaceful and nicely maintained. The dog park is pretty standard but overall it gets the job done for what we need it for. There are awesome walking paths around edges of some buildings, and around the pool. It’s really nice to be able to walk my dogs and baby on a route that doesn’t require leaving the gated property!I put in a maintenance request yesterday, and the service manager, Eddie, stopped by before the business day was over. He came back today and fixed the issue quickly and thoroughly. It was some caulking that needed to be done. We had a few ants so I’m sure it will fix the issue. What I’m very happy to say is there are no roaches. I haven’t seen a single one! The ONLY bugs I’ve seen are a few ants but it was addressed immediately.Overall great place and highly recommend. I can’t wait to start using other amenities like the pool, gym, clubhouse, and bikes you can borrow!

    I can not say enough positive things about this community, its residents, and its staff.From Amy to Carrie to the maintenance people who would all take the time and speak and ask hows your day.The staff carefully screening new residents to make this community a safe home. I never felt safer in an apt.The only reason I moved was because of my daughters health and she lives in GA.They have an exceptional staff!

    MAA!!! I just want to thank you for welcoming us with good energy from everyone!! When we walked in we were greeted and helped by Brittany Hoyt. She was so quick and helpful. She was so quick that she got us approved and moved in the same day!!!! Such a huge blessing. This apartment complex is beautiful and well maintained!! “Smells amazing too”😀 The neighbors are friendly as well.     From Brittany in the leasing office to Eddy on the maintenance team, this is a winning community and property. It was a straight forward, transparent, and well communicated application and move in process! We have been here for a while now and I have only great things to say and look forward to staying at MAA Bulverde! Not only is the front office staff awesome, but they keep this community beautiful, and functional, especially Eddy who is always welcoming and greets everyone, reminds people he’s there to always help. It’s people like that, that keep this property a breath a fresh air in San Antonio.

    Our maintenance team at our apartments, are top notch!! They are super friendly, go above and beyond, keep us informed of when a part is being ordered and will be in, are reliably quick to take care of things, and our dogs adore them. Lol.     We accidentally stumbled across this apartment complex on our search for a new home. Brittany in the front office immediately welcomed us when we showed up at our appointment to see if we could tour the community. Ever since then, she has made the process simple and enjoyable and made the decision to move here even easier. Any minor issues we’ve run into (ex: key fob out of battery) she has resolved it with efficiency and kindness! We are so happy in our new home!

    The Bulverde Oaks Apartment Complex is great. I have lived here since April 2016 and have never had an issue that wasnt resolved within 24 hours or less including an air conditioner failure on Sunday night at 11 PM. That issue was resolved in 2 hours from my call. The management staff is a joy to work with and in my opinion are the best in the business. I havent had many maintenance issues, but it is nice to know that when I do, someone will be here ASAP to take care of it the first time. This may sound like a commercial, but the truth is the truth. I just had a maintenance issue on 2/4/2025 and Eddie was here in less than 24 hours to do a great job as always. This is a great place to live.

    MMA Bulverde is the first apartment complex my boyfriend and I have lived at. It is one of the best decisions we made! We have lived here for 9 months and are going to sign are second lease in July. The office staff are always friendly and helpful. They even let me drop off my dog grooming business cards for them to hand out. Anytime we have put in a work order, it is dealt with soon after. It is a quiet, cozy complex to live at.

    I absolutely loved my 2 years at Bulverde Oaks. It is a wonderful community to be a part of- beautiful apartments, lots of upgrades, very quiet, very safe and beautiful grounds and amenities. The move in and move out processes were equally quick, seamless, fair and very straightforward.     Good morning 🌄. I have been asked to give a review of Bulverde Oaks apartments.We moved here this last February. There have been ups and downs, but I can say the staff here has been nothing but excellent in handling any issues we encountered. If we have a work order, it is fixed in a timely manner. The maintenance people are friendly and knowledgeable.I have to be honest, Our location is where there is a lot of noise, but it has improved.I would recommend it as a good place to live. We are happy here.

    I just recently renewed my lease for my second year here at Bulverde Oaks, and I could not be any happier to stay!! The apartments are clean, the community is peaceful, the amenities are great, and the staff!! I can not say enough nice things about them. The people in the leasing office and the maintenance team are all so incredibly kind and are always on top of work orders and issues. I have yet to have an unpleasant experience with anyone here. This complex is an all around great community and I highly recommend for anyone looking in the northside of San Antonio! Special props to the leasing agent, Kierra, for always going above and beyond for us!edit: I forgot to mention that this complex is also very pet friendly. I have a sweet pitbull, and finding a NICE apartment that allows aggressive breeds can be very challenging. Theres a dog park here along with wide sidewalks outside the complex thats perfect for outdoor time for the fur babies!

    We’ve lived here for the past two years and the only complaint I can think about is parking, which is honestly not too terrible if you don’t mind the walk sometimes.The maintenance team is great and will get to you on a timely manner, and the office crew is always super sweet.The complex itself is calm and quiet for the most part which we also loved.From all of my experiences with past apartments, Bulverde Oaks compared to them exceeds expectations.If we didn’t purchase a home and had to lease an apartment, we definitely would’ve stayed here another year.

    Unfortunately, I was not able to fulfill my full lease agreement due to me finding a great deal on a home, but the staff there made the process of early termination so easy!!     The end of the year is coming. We have lived here for 10 months from February 3rd. I must say, things have improved a lot over the year. The noise factor from the gate area where we live hasnt been too bad. Although from the master bedroom, there is still noise coming from the stairs as people come and go. Not that bad. Guess we are getting used to it.The maintenance crew, Kevin and the new man, Kurt are great. Very polite and efficient. Do a great job in a timely manor.When we have a problem, it is fixed within the same day or within a couple days if a big thing that needs extra outside help.The staff is fantastic. We are even getting free Christmas wrapping paper. Never experienced that before. We love using the exercise room and especially the pool table which has been updated. Very nice.The grounds are very well kept and I enjoy the seasons changing, leaves falling etc.All in all, we are happy here and plan on renewing our lease in April.God bless yall and have a wonderful Christmas.Jan 15, 2023Our residence here has been almost a year. Doesnt seem possible. We have been happy. Staff has been great. It is still a bit noisy, especially through the walls upstairs. But slightly better. Any maintenance work is always completed quickly. We feel its a nice place to live, modern and now that we have acquired a garage, we always have a good place to park even late at night. Mostly happy. But.....Im not sure if other residents experience this if you have someone above, but we have very noisy people above us. It may be the way the floors are constructed. Does anyone else experience this? Noise late at night, 1-4am. Heavy walking. It keeps us up at night at times, disturbing to say the least. We have reported this, but really just no sure what the solution is.October 26,2023Hello MAA and Bulverde Oaks.Hard to believe fall is here and finally cooler weather. I think everyone can agree that this is a great time of year.I would like to address this to the wonderful maintenance workers, in particular, Kirk and Kevin. Those guys and the rest of the staff work so hard. When we had any thing to be fixed, small or large, they handle things efficiently and quick. They are also nice guys as well. We have been very happy here after moving from southern California. There have been some minor inconveniences, but the community staff has been super in communication to us. Our apartment is very modern, updated. The maintenance staff if always quick to fix any problems. It was so nice again this Christmas to have a gift wrapping table in the lobby. Free supplies. Appreciate that. I recommend MAA Bulverde as a new home, whether a temporary transition stop or forever home. God bless.

    Bulverde Oaks is a fantastic place to live. Beautiful property, well maintained, with an incredible staff. From the Management to the Maintenance Crew, they really do a great job of taking care of the residents. Maintenance issues are resolved quickly, office staff treat you like family and make you feel at home. Nice pool with shade for those hot days, nature trail, and fitness center where the equipment actually works. We are starting our 4th year, and love it here!

    I chose Bulverde Oaks for its location. Its close to my jobs and has plenty of shopping options. Management staff always provide the best service and pay attention to your requests/needs, they treat you with respect.     I have been a resident of Bulverde Oaks for two years now, and have absolutely loved every minute of it! When I was first looking at apartments, I was coming off of one of the worst experiences, and therefore was very picky with my next complex. From the first minute I was at Bulverde Oaks, I knew this was the place for me! The complex is clean, the amenities are well kept, and the staff is just the best! Any time maintenance is needed, they come out within a day of your request, if not within an hour. If my fiancée and I didn’t have jobs across town, we would absolutely be renewing our lease. I cannot recommend Bulverde Oaks enough!

The biggest issue I’ve had is very loud neighbors, which is really hard to avoid living in apartments, but management did a great job of addressing the issue. It’s a very clean, safe, kind community with awesome management. Every maintenance request is handled within 12-24 hours, sometimes sooner! The amenities are all upgraded and the interiors are very modernized so I love that. Parking can sometimes be a problem but to be honest, that’s a common issue for all apartment communities. The dog park could be grass instead of mulch but my dog (and everyone else’s) loves it just the same. The only reason I’m considering moving is because I am now further from where I work. But I don’t want to leave!!! Definitely recommend living at Bulverde Oaks!

    I moved about 3 months ago from out of town and I did a site unseen lease! By far was the fastest and easiest leasing process and I absolutely love my apartment. The complex is very quite and Everyone kind of keeps to themselves which I like. I definitely plan to stay for awhile.

    I loved this Apartment community!! very quite and clean. I have been a resident at Bulverde Oaks for one and half year. The Management and Staff are always available and they are on point on maintenance request. They are so helpful. I love the neighborhood too , everything is super close and good trails around the community.

    After two years, I am leaving Bulverde Oaks. It was my first apartment experience. The amazing staff made it a phenomenal experience. Had I not moved to another city, I would have definitely stayed with Bulverde Oaks. The move-out process was quick and easy. I would recommend this outstanding community to anyone!

    So we are updating our review... I have to give this place 5 stars. Unfortunately we got stuck with a unit on the Main Street with a lot of road noise but the management team did all they could to accommodate before letting us off our lease. We sadly left the property and must let others know only that it’s tough if you have kids who are younger to sleep with the Busy road noise On Bulverde Rd. Otherwise our experience was remarkable. The pool was always clean and up kept grounds were always being walked by maintenance, we once had an issue with our valet trash company (management switched companies since) not picking up valet trash and the office team had maintenance come by to pick up. One small emergency maintenance which they came by in less than half an hour. Melanie is always so nice and helpfulSame as Maria they were both wonderful to work with and I would recommend this property to any one of my family and friends. Thanks for everything during our stay Bulverde Oaks Team!

    I loved living here. I moved in the year that they opened and never had a problem with the staff or the apartments. Maintenance was always prompt and friendly whenever they were called. I loved the staff. They were friendly, professional and never too busy to help me out when I needed it.If I had to complain about anything - and it would be a mild complaint at worst - would be the parking situation. There just isnt enough parking, so what ends up happening is people parking in places where they shouldnt. It makes for a PITA situation at times when navigating the complex. Im not sure what management can do about it past enforcing parking restrictions (which they have been trying to do), but its something to keep in mind.All-in-all, if I hadnt gotten married and moved into my wifes house, I would still be at Bulverde Oaks. The location, the people and the apartments made living there a great experience.

They work as a team, which is why I believe they are so helpful. The area is also great! Its a quiet, family/young-adult neighborhood.

    I have been having problems with my circuit breaker going off and put in two maintenance requests. Both of them were taken care of within hours of posting the problem.     Bulverde Oaks was an incredibly nice place to live. From the apartment to the facilities and staff we had an incredible experience all the way around. It is also incredibly conveniently located with easy access to 1604, any shopping you may need, and all of the schools in the district. Highly recommend.

    Best apartment community I ever lived in here in San Antonio! Not only are the units spectacular, the management of this community is top notch. Karlynn (sorry if thats is spelled wrong), Melanie, Maria & maintenance crew make the community that much better. If I didnt have to move for work, Id still be renting there and i have been there since day 1 when MAA to over the property. If your looking, look more and lease here. you wont be disappointed!!!!!!

    I lived in this apartment complex for few months and had very good experience. Management was very professional and helpful. The apartment units are clean and I had no maintenance issues. Parking was an issue sometimes but overall it was a good experience living there.
