I recently moved to Ladera Apartment Complex, and I can honestly say it’s one of the best housing experiences I’ve ever had in Austin so far! From the moment I moved in, I was blown away by the quality of the apartments. Not only is It affordable but the apartments are super spacious. There is also such a large range of amenities offered that includes a really fun mini-golf course. Lastly, the leasing and management team deserves a special shout-out! From being greeted by Savannah to working closely with Elijah and Angela, they were incredibly responsive and genuinely cared about the residents concerns. They made my move in process super easy! Highly recommend living at Ladera!

Ladera is one of a kind community. Id say the best in south Austin by far. Not only are the units beautiful and spacious but the community is quiet and fantastic as well. With large grass areas to walk/run your pups, and two large dog parks. A dog spa, gym with a yoga studio, pool open year around with a jacuzzi and a mini putting ground of all things. The office area is designed to perfection, and the way they have the resident lounge area set up is incredible, unlike any other Ive seen. It is spacious, with comfortable sitting area, computers with a printer you are welcome to use during office hours. Extremely grateful for this amenity, along with all the others of course. There is also coffee/tea available and youre welcome to shoot pool with a friend while the office is open as well. There is a lounge area right outside the office with a tv/fireplace. Something extremely special; they do 2-3 special events every month. Staff is incredible! Just a great place to live.

The leasing office is simply superb in attending to the residents and helping out however they can. All of them are owed credit: Amanda, Emilia, Savannah and Zach. Maverick, the on-premise man who fixes problems, is somewhat of a local legend.I feel the only challenge is that the pool is sometimes unavailable but otherwise I am absolutely satisfied with my experience here. Keep up the great work y’all!Update 8 months in: Super responsive leasing office led by Regina who make it very easy to put in a request and have that met asap without having to follow up. Really raises expectations!

Lived here for a little over a year. Had the 2bed/2bath in building 10. Definitely one of the better apartments and deals in the area. Pool and gym are really nice. And the units are spacious. Parking is also no issue; just make sure to get the parking tags.

You live by the highway and will always hear it as ambient noise plus the maintenance is slow to respond (up to three weeks tops) but I consider that the tradeoff. The value is very good and you are 8 minutes away from downtown. 30 if you are willing to bike. They have carpeted flooring which for some people such as myself is a must. Active residents and nice pool/gym. Nice staff. You can also get the highest tier of fiber optic from AT&T if you choose

These apartments are so beautiful and maintained so well! The amenities are great, the complex hosts special events that really celebrate the residents, and the leasing office is super accessible!Our unit is a 2 bed 2 bath, but Im pretty sure the Master Closet could count as a 3rd bedroom - what a dream come true! Tons of storage, tons of counter space, and generally great design!

I like living here. Its been about 7 months and any maintenance issues I had have been taken care of in a timely fashion, its a nice looking complex, the staff is always friendly, they are around 7 days a week (one of the best features), they remember who I am even though Ive only stopped into the main office a few times, and they also have resident events each month. I even got a mini cake for my birthday.Sometimes neighbors can be loud and the pool could get cleaned more often but I just moved from college and have lived in worse places that I thought were nice and this place is a step up.

Stella was helpful and was able to accommodate me last minute. Even though it was clearly closing time she did not rush the apartment viewing and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I was very happy with my touring experience with her. Ultimately, I had to go with another place simply because it was closer to work. The pool was a highlight as well as the patio and modern appliances.**I am rating 4 stars so it does not significantly affect the ratings.

I’ve had nothing but a positive experience living at Ladera. I don’t think most of the negative reviews on here are accurate. The complex is quiet with low foot traffic, parking isn’t an issue by your building and the gym/pool are more than useable. Living off the I-35 frontage road is probably the only downside of this complex but it’s still in a great location ~10 mins to downtown Austin. The front desk staff has always helped me out along with maintenance.

So far so good, we have been here now three months and I really like it here. Neighbors are friendly, the whole place is pet friendly as well. We had a couple bumps when we first moved in but nothing since then. The management is super responsive and extremely friendly. They have events each month that I wish I could attend but with crazy work schedules it has not happened yet.

Make this place your first and only stop if you are looking for an apartment. my roommate and i searched for over a week at apartments in the area and the first place we stopped was Ladera.We were shown around the property by Ashley she was incredibly patient with us and answered all our questions honestly. Not only did she help us that day but she allowed us to constantly call and bombard her with questions until all of them were answered.When we moved into the apartment and finished the welcome checklist there were a few things wrong with our apartment. Ashley took complete ownership of the repairs and had them fixed in a matter of days. She even went as far as to check to see if every thing was fixed herself.we have lived here over 2 months and I have yet to have a single complaint about the apartments. so please stop in check out the community and talk to Ashley.

From day 1, Ladera has been one of the best apartment complexes Ive lived in. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. They care about community involvement and the maintenance staff is very quick to respond to calls. The gym is great and never too busy and the pool with the cabanas is always a great place to hang with friends or sit back and relax alone! The location is nice too with Southpark meadows, Walmart, Target and more 2 minutes away. I checked out over 15 apartments in south Austin before finding Ladera and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys luxury and convenience!

The issues ive experienced so far is why i knock off some points. When we did a tour we walked theough an apartment that had wood floors and that was the main reason we wanted the place. Move in day comes open the door and bam carpet. I called the office to ask and get told o wood floor is only on the first floor. Had i not had movers unloading i wouldve found a new place for sure. They forgot to put a washer in the laundry room but brought one right away. The shower pressure was horrible took a few days to fix due to the weekend. Ice maker didnt make ice again weekend issue. Their gate key machine system is broken now almost a week and i have to enter a code each time. I cant use the gym after work hours. I hope soon things will change and get better or these next 14 months will be rough.

I have lived here almost 2 1/2 years. Ladera isnt perfect. But what apartment complex is? So Im giving them 5 stars on purely a apartment complex percentile scale.AESTHETICS:First off, everything is/feels new. Everything is well kept and maintained from the grounds to the buildings to the pool and clubhouse. All facilities are very nice too.RELIABILITY(for lack of a better word:Every time I need something done it is taken care of quickly and efficiently. Because the place is new Ive only had to call maintenance a couple times for very minor things and have had good experiences then. The kitchens have track lights that seems to burn out often but once again, minor.STAFF:As with any apartments there seems to be high turnover. However every staff member Ive encountered has been friendly and helpful.NUISANCES:Every now and then I see bugs but by no means have ever had a problem. Thats normal. Yes you can hear loud noises from the neighbors but thats hard to prevent. Cant hear anything from next door but this might depend on neighbors. Luckily I think all units only have neighbors on one side. PARKING IS a big issue. If you come home late at night you will have to walk to get home. This really sucks sometimes. But there is no solution to this so it isnt managements fault and with all the pros gets drowned.CONVENIENCES:Pool and workout room are great. Clubhouse has all your office needs. Have vallet trash so just stick can outside door which is nice. Two awesome dog parks which my dog loves. Have charcoal grills at pool I love.SECURITY:Gated. Have never felt unsafe. Complex is segregated from the city on access road so would be hard for anyone just to go there on foot so security is a non issue for me.NEIGHBORS:Seems to mostly be young professionals. Young, intelligent, respectful. (Not your college age craziness, but not your new families with lots of young kids either). I would say the average resident age is somewhere 25-30. With exceptions of course.COST:The price is a little steep. I know this is Austin but we are way south. I know you get what you pay for but still. For me its worth it.LOCATION:This is a pro and con. The location as far as Austin goes is way south way far from really anything meaningful outside of your basic shopping. Not even many good restaurants super close. However this fact is why though expensive, it is considerably bigger for less money than you would pay at a better location. You are right on 35 so that helps.MOVEOUT EXPERIENCE:Havent moved out. I know a lot of places are brutal here but I truly cant say from personal experience.If the cost and location isnt an issue for you then I would give you my thumbs up.

I attended this condo and if there were 10 stars for its staff I would give them Savanna and Gina, super friendly and helpful, I felt at home from the beginning, excellent service, wonderful cleaning. I was convinced from the moment I signed the contract that it would be really wonderful to live here

They are very comfortable and their gym is very complete. I like it because my apartment is on the first floor and there is a good pool!
