I moved into the Kinstead about 3 weeks ago, and I’m absolutely loving it! Autumn in the leasing office is absolutely wonderful. She’s super sweet and made the entire process a breeze. My home was clean and make ready upon move-in, maintenance and pest control is on top of their game, and valet does well too. The community is surprisingly very quiet, despite being directly off of 121. My home is beautiful and worth every penny. Thank you management + leasing consultants for taking care of your property + residents. :)

I lived here for 5 years since the complex opened in 2019. I never had any issues. The only reason I am not renewing is for a change. Front office staff has always been so kind and helpful. I only needed maintenance two or three times in those five years and they were quick and friendly. Normal sounds with living in an apartment complex. If common areas were dirty a quick email to the front office and it was addressed. Parking was never an issue for me in both buildings I lived in. It’s safe to walk your pet around and also walk the surrounding areas. I would highly recommend this complex.

Its ok. I was there for a brief stay via AirbnbI give low stars for no elevators. Noticed a resident with crutches who broke their leg and had a hard time using stairs. I also observed residents who were moving out from the third floor. Looked painful. Pools appeared clean. I did observe someone vacuuming the bottom of the pools.There is a separate dog park at the location of the mailboxes.The apartment was decent. Electric pad for access of apartment, and outside door to building. I was just wondering if electricity went out if the generator (?) will continue without interrupting building and apartment access. Or if there is a generator.Overall nice. Could hear people sometimes through walls. Im not sure if the apartment price people pay is worth the space.I did ask someone, and they said too much.

The staff is personable, and caring and not your typical leasing professionals. They truly invest in the residents. The variety of accessible amenities resemble an upscale hotel you get to call home. The floor plans are beautiful, spacious, and welcoming. The apartments are also secure and private. It is also a quiet place. You will want to live here!

The only reason why I give this place four stars is the parking. It is absolutely terrible in building one. So bad that today as I’m sitting in my car, I notice someone is sitting and waiting for me to leave like this is a grocery store. It gets full early too. Normally 6pm or earlier sometimes. This is a long review but it breaks down almost everythingI’ve been here for a year and this is my honest review:Pros -*maintenance is very fast and actually takes care of the complex. From power washing to cleaning the hallways. Only thing that they didn’t really fix is our dryer, which we had issues all year round.*staff is nice and have multiple resident events every month. We personally worked with Selena and she was very kind and patient*overall quiet community*smart home..absolute plus*secure place with code entries*nice amenitiesCons -*again..parking. Absolutely terrible. The reserved covered parking is far from the building which doesn’t necessarily help. I’ve had to walk from the dumpsters back to my building multiple times.* dog parks are small if you have a dog*bit overpriced*I did have one small encounter of roaches only in my bathroom (big and small for a small period of time), but I truly believe it was due to the people next door. Once maintenance was working on that apartment, they stopped coming.We are only leaving due to the price.

Absolutely love my apartment with all the upgraded features the moving process was very quick and easy Autumn made the process very easy communicated the entire time with updates! The apartment and community is really nice very friendly. The 3rd floor stairways could be a little more cleaner but overall great experience and Enjoying my apartment!

This is the best community I have Ever lived at, from the office staff to maintenance. The office staff’s customer service is always amazing whenever I need anything as small as getting a package out. Maintenance is always so kind and really quick. Jim and Cesar do an incredible job on ensuring that your work order is completed as soon as possible.I would Recommend living here 10000000 million percent. You won’t regret it ! Im a new resident at Kinstead McKinney. Ive been impressed with my apartment floor plan, the amenities offered and staff. Its a very nice complex with competitive pricing compared to other complexes of comparable value. Being right off of the 121 Sam Rayburn Tollway is very convenient as well.Their staff is awesome. In particular, Autumn Martin helped me with the leasing process and made it easy.So far, all has been great! Staff is helpful and responsive!

Autumn was my leasing agent, she was professional, kind, and on top of communication. We loved her. We went to see the facility last Monday and are already moving in with a signed lease this Tuesday. The entire process has been so easy due to the staff, and we are excited to be new residents. I have personally checked out over 15 apartment complexes and have not found anything close to this one! Definitely check it out if you are looking for a new home.

Been renting here for over a year now and am constantly impressed with the crew. Leasing staff are friendly and responsive, maintenance and groundskeeping do a first rate job and go out of their way to make things really nice around here. During last years freeze, they worked nonstop to help with apartment issues, and still made time for less urgent calls.Theres constantly some event in the leasing office, which is great for getting to know neighbors around here. Staff know my name and my pup, and are always really friendly to both of us.Theres lots of nice amenities, the units are nice and spacious, but the people are the real reason to stay here.

Kinstead Mckinney is a great place to call home! My husband and I just relocated to the area from Miami with no family or friends. Everyone has warmly welcomed us to the area and made us feel right at home. We would like to thank our wonderful sales consultant Hilary for always providing us with professional, courteous, friendly and attentive service! Keep up the good job! She was instrumental in making this move a smooth transition.Every interaction with everyone in the leasing office and maintenance has been a positive experience. I placed my first maintenance request yesterday and within hours my request was complete. During my service I was greeted with a smile by the maintenance supervisor whom introduced himself and his team. Thank you all for all that you do each day! It hasnt gone unnoticed. If your looking for a new place to call home in Mckinney, look no further.

The unit is beautiful as expected and was well cleaned prior to move in. The staff has been friendly, the property is kept clean, and neighbors are friendly and respectful of each other. Lot of community events really add to the culture here.The only areas for improvements I can think of would be a few more dog waste stations across the property to make dog walks more convenient, they have quite a few, but can feel pretty spread out with how spacious the property is. And one of the kitchen drawers is problematic, which seems to be a result of a mistake during the oven or counter top installation. It’s annoying but probably an easy fix once we get around to putting in a work order for it once these new variants slow down.Overall it’s the best apartment we have ever lived in. We look forward to being here many years, potentially upgrading to a 3 bedroom!

I scheduled an appointment to tour Kinstead immediately after I found mold in my vents from my previous apartment: Villas at Stonebridge Ranch. I expressed to Matt my concerns and needs and he immediately showed me the perfect one bedroom apartment. After receiving news that I would be let out of my lease from the previous place I called Matt and he scheduled my move in date and I got moved in a week later! Application and lease signing process was easy, and Matt and the Kinstead staff made sure all the questions I had were answered. Everyone in the office is so kind and helpful. Amenities here are awesome and the property is well maintained. Definitely feels good to love coming home again. Thank you guys!

We have been here for over a year and LOVE the new management team! Neighbors are friendly and everyone is pretty good at picking up after their pets which keeps the community clean:)We love the management team! They do cool stuff every so often like delicious breakfast waffles down at the office and my favorite was the complimentary gourmet pop cycles served by the pool. We love the gym here too! Tia is a great manager and worked with us when we needed help figuring out a renewal lease while we are are in the process of buying a new home. Misty has also been a great addition to the Kinstead team. She is always so friendly and really goes above and beyond, consistently came though making sure we are takin care of as residents of Kinstead! This is a great place to call home which is hard to find with most other aparments....

Our luggage came in a day early so Autum from the leasing office was so kind that she helped us find it and even put it inside our apartment upon request. Everyone was really helpful and am already loving their place and service! 💜

I applied for an apartment here and the staff that handled my application and service was just awesome from start to completion. She returned my calls or sms even after work hours and took me through all the steps of the way. This is a great apartment complex with high end finishes and great customer service experience. Alyssa was awesome and professional. Keep up the good work!

A few things could make it better. #1 NOT EV Car friendly, if you have one, might want to look elsewhere. No chargers or outlets available. #2 Valet trash is pretty iffy, sometimes they take it, sometimes they dont. #3 Pet owners dont pick up their dog poopOverall satisfied with the apartment. Leasing office bent over backwards to help move things into my place before I arrived. They are responsive and helpful. Price is reasonable for me, but I might be biased coming from out of state

Lived here for about 6 months and husband got a new job so we relocated. The units are very nice and modern, the amenities are top notch, and the managers are wonderful. Neby was our consultant and I did see her let her dog poop and she didnt pick it up. The maintenance team took a long time before responding to requests, but that was when the apartments first opened.

I moved to Kinstead a week ago and love my new place. Although all the staff have been helpful Ive worked mostly with Dorothy. Dorothy made the application and approval process run smoothly, she was always prompt when answering my questions, and the office staff are attentive and professional whenever I go in. They make you want to live here.Kinstead is off a major tollway, near lots of restaurants and stores and is in an awesome location. I highly recommend Kinstead to anyone looking for a place to live.

This is a brand new apartment housing. We just moved in and couldn’t be happier. We are renting a 2 bedroom apartment. It is spacious and everything is new and of good quality.I would like to thank the Kinstead McKinney team for helping us with our quick application processing.Special thanks to Neby Salman for going above and beyond in making sure we were provided all help and support on time. She even stayed late to hand over the keys as our flight was delayed.So far we love the place. We can’t wait for summer to enjoy the pool :).

When I walked into the main building I knew I had found the place for me, my wife and young daughter. I was luckily enough to deal with Gunner who is friendly, polite, professional and most importantly a great person to interact with. I also dealt with Dorothy who like Gunner, is always a pleasure to converse with. When we moved in, there were a few items that needed to be fixed, they were fixed the very next day.

My boyfriend and I were looking for our first apartment, and the Kinstead staff made us feel so welcome and they really took great care of us. Neby was our leasing consultant and was so helpful! She answered all of our questions and calls with no problem. You can really tell she wants to help and will go above and beyond to get you everything you need. We feel very lucky that we get to live here and call this place home, knowing we will always be taken care of! Highly recommend Kinstead, and Neby for any of your needs!

Management and maintenance staff are nice, caring, and responsive. I moved into a brand new A2 floorplan. Washer and dryer are new, but loud. There is no storage space in the laundry area. However, there is an oversized front closet. Ive had to use that as overflow for the small bedroom closet. I personally. Dont feel there is adequate kitchen space. The counter space is minimal for counter appliances. The pantry is deep, but narrow which makes it difficult to organize pantry items. The fridge does have an automatic ice maker, but no water dispenser. Garbage is picked up nightly Sun thruThurs. The amenities space is gorgeous! There is also a nice dog yard and pet washing station. These apartments are well insulated! Barely had to turn on the heat in the winter.Please dont let the staff tell you windows are triple paned. They are double paned, at least in building 3. Although it would have been nice to be in the main building with all the amenities, I was afraid Id hear too much of the 121 traffic. I was right. I still hear it but barely over the McKinney Place traffic caused primarily from the two neighboring apartment complexes.There are several of the residents who live in the Atlantic Apartments across the street who drive very loud cars and they speed up and down the street. Before COVID19 you could set your clock by them. Both Bexley and Atlantic McKinney Ranch apartment neighbors use Kinstead as a shortcut to get to the RaceTrac gas station or to get onto Lake Forest, or back into their complex. Honestly, both McKinney Place Dr. and Valliance Dr. do the same thing, so Im unclear why they do it. All I know, is that I have watched daily as the cars speed through. Its scary as many residents are just trying to walk their dogs without getting hit. The apartments are nice and I feel are quiet. I generally feel safe and secure. There is a security officer on duty but Ive not had any need to use. Its nice knowing they are available.

I like the place, is quiet and common areas well maintained, the leasing office team are responsive and did a great job during my leasing process, BUT the only complaint it’s that my unit wasn’t move in ready in my opinion, all the kitchen cabinets and closet was covered in dust and stained as my previous experience with other properties this has been the poorest in terms of cleaning no deep cleaning at all!
