Love my apartment. Been living here for 3 years. Have not had any major problems. Overall a good experience. Area feels really safe. Good front office and maintenance team. The fire alarm does go off in the middle of the night which can be really frustrating. Love my balcony and views. The rent + the mandatory fees makes this place expensive than they let on and they will attempt to increase your rent. Nonetheless, I would recommend over most apartments in Houston for the price.

It’s going on my 3rd month living here and I love it! The staff is amazing, Nadia the leasing agent took her time and showed me about 6 different units and Chris the manager is sweet as pie! Juan in maintenance crew is so friendly and came to fix my stuff same day. The amenities are great the pool is never too crowded and everything works in the gym. The grounds are always kept up and the hallways always smell great. I never have a problem with parking my vehicle and there’s always room for my guests on the 8th floor. Thank you Nadia and Chris!

I’ve been living here for 4 months now and it’s been amazing!!Things happen and what I love about Gables Tanglewood is that they always keep you in the know!! The property is also well maintained too! The hallways play classic music and the parking garage is fully enclosed protecting our vehicles from weather.Management is very kind, attentive and supportive, too!Love it here!

The only thing better than these amazing winter sunsets is the service here. Kayla Garcia was our leasing agent. We found out later that she was brand new here. Youd never know by the level of service provided! We signed immediately upon touring! Our move in was seemless. Anything that requires service is usually done same day. And any issues brought to their attention are handled almost immediately. Also, the property manager, Jaime, could not be any sweeter! Just a great group of people here.Things of note. You have a choice as to where your apt will be located, and this place is HUGE. If you live right in front of two fully functioning, kid friendly restaurants, there will be some noise. If you live near a pool available to the entire complex, there will be some noise. These are small areas in the scheme of how big this place is, though. So, if you have need for a more quiet existence as we do with a special needs pet, you choose an apt that is not near these things, as we did. Our apt is near silent and its amazing! No more noisy stress for my dog. I feel the negative reviews are those of people that did not properly think through their needs prior to moving in. We have lived here since July and seriously could not be happier.

This is my happy place…I was motivated to right about my experience here at Gables because I was astounded by some of the more negative reviews written about this place.My experience with this location, the staff, maintenance, and the people has been nothing less than exceptional! Every issue I’ve ever had has been met with a friendly response and an extremely helpful staff looking to do whatever they can to solve it. Somethings are out of their control but if that’s the case they make sure to communicate that with me. I’m never just left in the dark. The location has a beautiful view, with a relaxing rooftop, and convenient restaurants downstairs!! The staff here are very personable and friendly!! I could rave about this place for hours. If you’re looking for a new place definitely come book a tour with either Ethan or Nadia. Both are very knowledgeable and eager to help! I promise you wont regret it!! :)

I’ve moved here in December, quiet and peaceful, beautiful amenities and community.I toured the community and Gina was very patient and showed me 3 different apartments, I leased a 1 bedroom apartment, and she was communicating and explaining everything in details, answering all my questions, she was so professional, friendly and kind! Thank you Gina, I love my apartment!!!!Great service/maintenance team keeping the community clean and really fast to attend any repairsThe Community Manager Chris has always been very Kind and always willing to help with anything related to my apartment.I love that they communicate and keep us updated thru emails about anything going on.The Concierge Lady has also been very kind and helpful when it comes to packages or my mail.The community feels safe and my dog loves to go on walks around the neighborhood!

I toured this community and have worked with Gina and Nadia in the front office. I have lived in 10+ apartments in the Galleria area looking for my forever apartment home so I have seen and heard it all.Gina and Nadia are by far the friendliest and most helpful leasing agents I have ever worked with. They answer the phone, respond to emails, and answer all of my questions with patience and a smile.I compared several apartments in the River Oaks and Galleria area and this decision to lease was an easy one. So far, this move in process has been the most seamless of all of my prior moves as far as communication and expectations. I am moving in next week and I could not be more excited about my warm welcome to the building. I have high hopes for my residency here...Thank you Gina and Nadia! =)

I lived in the M5250 residential tower for a few years, and I liked it very much.I recently moved to Gables Tanglewoods. First of all, I must say that the amenities of this building, especially the club houses, gym, movie room, and roof top, are very stylish, modern and beautiful.The corridors are very clean with a good smell and fantastic music.Great parking spaces. the security and culture of the residents here are very high.One of the most important features of Gables Tanglewood is its location. There are some good restaurants and coffee shops below and next to this apartment complex. It also has easy access to major highways, like 610, 59, I10, and Galeria area.A special thank you to Mrs. Gina Munoz, who is very professional, has good manners, and is attentive in the active office.Although I am new to this building, I feel very good and I am happy that I chose this place.If quality of life is a priority for you, Gables Tanglewood is one of the best apartments in Houston.Highly recommend.

Quite an amazing team here. New resident but they made my move-in process seamless. Nadia worked with me for over a month and I greatly appreciated her dedication to my satisfaction. She’s genuine, kind, and knowledgeable: three things that don’t seem to be too common in leasing. Maintenance is always on top of it and Gina was amazingly helpful as well! Kudos!!!!

Gables Tanglewood is a great community to live in! We have been residents here for over a year now and recently renewed our lease into another unit. Jamie and Elton helped us tremendously to settle in for our first lease. They were always professional, courteous and answered all questions/concerns. The maintenance team are very responsive to all needs and complete requests in a timely manner. For each service request placed they have done a fantastic job. Angela at concierge services was always courteous, sweet and helpful. Always has a smile on and makes you feel right at home. Kayla G has gone above and beyond in helping us renew our lease. All concerns and requests were addressed! She has been very patient and professional from beginning to end. Shes also super sweet!

FLAWLESS MOVE-IN. EXCEPTIONAL AMENITIES. BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY: My experience with a recent move to Gables Tanglewood was a wonderful and easy time. The freight elevator is easily accessible. There is plentiful parking. There are even grocery options attached to the apartment without having to walk outside the complex. Love the dining/restaurants available too. The pool area is stunning. The hallways smell great and remind me of staying at a fine hotel, as they keep it so clean. My Unit was ready so fast, and it was a cinch to finish up the paperwork. The community itself is friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem of Houston, hidden in plain sight! I recommend you take a tour because youll be impressed and wonder why you never thought of this place before!!!-- Satisfied resident.

Gables Tanglewood- This is an awesome place and one of my favorite apartments ever. My view is amazing and the amenities are pretty good. The maintenance staff is great and they do a good job - Just one thing- The computers in the lounge are not useful at all. Sometimes they dont even have mouses or the screen is just frozen. The tv in the conference room and the printer are the same. They just look pretty. And the GYM needs new equipment urgently. Its a pretty decent size and some equipment is still useful, but come on, you know you can do way better. And it is not that expensive. Matter of willingness.One last suggestion: The experience of picking up packages is not good. Having a schedule for picking up the packager breaks the logic of buying shopping. I buy online because sometimes I cannot go to the store, but now I have to rush after work to see if I can still make it before the concierge leaves, or wait the entire week until the weekend to pick up my packages. That means that food subscription boxes are a no for me, and I use to use that a lot. You have lockers in other properties, and it was awesome. I was able to pick up my packages at 2 am. We need that here!

I recently moved in this past Saturday and my experience has been nothing but pure bliss! Working with Kayla has been incredible, she was patient and kind throughout the process from the time I first started looking into the property months ago. Moving across state can be a hassle but Kayla made it so easy. She was kind enough to send me pictures, give me a virtual tour, and an in-person tour when I was finally able to come for a visit. After I was approved (which came the next business day), Kayla contacted me to congratulate me and let me know that I would soon be receiving my welcome letter. She even made accommodations (with the help of Jeremiah and Marissa at the concierge desk) to allow me to sign my lease online and pick up my keys after regular office hours since I had a 17-hour drive and would not make it in time. Move in was incredibly smooth and Kayla made sure to check in with me first thing Monday to make sure I had made it safely and was settling well. The pictures of the building, amenities, and unit do not do them justice! I am so beyond thankful to have such a kind and helpful team at the front office, patient staff at the concierge (thank you Marissa for being nice about the seemingly endless number of packages BIG and small), and diligent maintenance (Danny) who got my work order completed the very next day! Five days in and I may still be in the honeymoon phase, but I’m not sure how I could ever fall out of love with this place!

I met a friend at Local Foods for lunch, which was great! We were talking about the apartments above and looked them up online. I went to the leasing office and asked if I could see the apartments. The manager Chris showed me around. I was amazed how beautiful the pool area is! The view is incredible. If I was from here I would live here. Chris was friendly and helpful and the apartments are beautiful. I think having the restaurants under the apartment is a nice perk too.

I have lived here for a few months now and absolutely love it! I live in the interior courtyard and love the view! I am not quite sure what everyone is talking about with the music? I have never heard any music outside of my apartment. The apartments are built SO great that I don’t ever hear any noise outside. I have off work hours and need to be able to sleep in... I NEVER have any issues. The staff have been helpful, the pool is GREAT, the apartment itself feels like home. I also love working out at the gym and having a nice view out of the window. Beware of one guy at the pool that likes to complain for no apparent reason though 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just signed a lease for another year! Maintenance responds quickly to any issues and the whole staff is always very friendly and accommodating. Kayla always does a great job of responding and helping me with any questions or issues I have. Whenever I need anything I reach out to her and I know it will be taken care of. I also received packages at least once a week and the concierge team always does a great job of notifying me and always have a great attitude.

The community is a beautiful community and great amenities, and Kayla did a great job in helping me explore this Gables community as my next home.

Read the reviews, most of the poor ratings are people that get upset for fee’s relating to late rent or other uncontrollable things. This place is really a great place to live. My favorite is just the location and convenient restaurants below. I work from home so lunch meetings and quality bites are quick. Gym is small but efficient with many options, theater room is awesome, sky lounge and pool is great! The only negative is the lack of grass to walk dogs, but this is urban living... reality. At least they have a dog park with dog stations and dog bath station with heated water🙏.. When you evaluate and compare other communities to this one, yes “newer” communities exist.. however the best bang for the buck belongs toTanglewood.

A resident for roughly 7 months, the new management has gone a long way to make the community better and improve the grounds! I especially appreciate the rooftop pool and cabana area which we didnt find elsewhere in our apartment search.

I visited this property yesterday and loved the complex and the tour! The leasing agent Mr. Benjamin Freedman was by far the nicest, politest and most professional agent I have ever met. I recently just moved into this property and I can honestly say everything has been great. My realtor was at another showing so I just walked in the property while waiting and was met by a leasing agent Shatika Crockett. She by far made my experience so great. I walked in with no appointment. She had an appointment near and she still didn’t let that stop her from making sure I got the info and tour. She went above and beyond during my whole process. Even when I moved in she kept checking making sure everything was good. She truly made my experience so easy. I was even introduced to the Maintanence Manager Juan who explained the protocol to get anything taken care in the apartment. He was so helpful and amazing. I can’t explain how thankful I am to Shatika for making me feel so welcomed. Im so happy that my realtor Terri Kimble found me this place. She knew exactly what I wanted and I found it.

All the words in the world could not express the gratitude we have felt, from the moment we arrived at Gables Tanglewood. My fiancée and I were in the process of moving from Orlando, Fl, so naturally we were looking for a new place. Gables Tanglewood was our third and final stop of the day. We were greeted by Taigi who welcomed us with open arms. From there he introduced us to Ericka who has been ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! She is personable, transparent, and professional. We really could not have done this without her. She made it easy for us to solidify our decision on becoming residents. Through all of the emails back and forth and all of the many questions we bombarded Ericka with - we made it to our official move in date. Our place is beautiful with a view overlooking the Galleria skyline. Literally we have no issues, no bugs, no loud noise, just everything you would want in a living space. Wole and I thank you for everything Ericka, seriously. You made it happen for us. And thank you Gables Tanglewood for helping us call Houston, home.

I had an amazing experience at Gables Tanglewood! Elton Valladares is a rockstar there! Staff are so helpful and nice. The views from the amenities are a must see! And then on top of all that they have restaurants literally downstairs which is so convenient. I don’t forget the experience that I had as I walked in. Elton was super welcoming and explained every important detail about the property. He did a great job on touring and he was absolutely patient and very informative about the property. I would definitely recommend Gables Tanglewood to my friends and family!

Benjamin was very helpful at this apartment complex. He gave us the best customer service and answered all of our questions. When we came in, 5 people came in after us that needed help as well but had to wait because Benjamin had no other help. He was super efficient and he took his time with us and didnt rush which made our experience that much better. We ended uo signing a lease that same day. Had it not been for Benjamin, we wouldnt be staying here because customer service is huge for me!

The community here is very nice and friendly. Kayla Garcia helped me pick the right apartment for me and I couldnt be any happier. I would definitely recommend my friends to come here and be apart of Gables Tanglewood.

We are staying here temporarily while we wait to move in our home next month . The place is great and Benjamin was very helpful showing me the facilities offered here. Look forward to using the pool, gym, and movie theatre during our stay.

I really recommend this apartments, I have lived literally all around Houston and this one was really really nice, the location with all the Restaurants was incredible convinient and most of the great grocery stores are around... The building is in a great shape and the pool was my favorite feature, very safe... 100% recommended
